1Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)显示文摘In recent years,as living standards have continued to improve,the number of diabetes patients in China,along with the incidence of complications associated with the disease,has been increasing.Among these complications,diabetic foot disease is one of the main causes of disability and death in diabetic patients.Due to the differences in economy,culture,religion and level of medical care available across different regions,preventive and treatment methods and curative results for diabetic foot vary greatly.In multidisciplinary models built around diabetic foot,the timely assessment and diagnosis of wounds and appropriate methods of prevention and treatment with internal and external surgery are key to clinical practice for this pathology.In 2019,under the leadership of the Jiangsu Medical Association and Chinese Diabetes Society,the writing group for the Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)was established with the participation of scholars from the specialist areas of endocrinology,burn injury,vascular surgery,orthopedics,foot and ankle surgery and cardiology.Drawing lessons from diabetic foot guidelines from other countries,this guide analyses clinical practices for diabetic foot,queries the theoretical basis and grades and gives recommendations based on the characteristics of the pathology in China.This paper begins with assessments and diagnoses of diabetic foot,then describes treatments for diabetic foot in detail,and ends with protections for high-risk feet and the prevention of ulcers.This manuscript covers the disciplines of internal medicine,surgical,nursing and rehabilitation and describes a total of 50 recommendations that we hope will provide procedures and protocols for clinicians dealing with diabetic foot.Aiping Wang Guozhong Lv Xingbo Cheng Xianghua Ma Wei Wang Jianchao Gui JiHu Meng Lu Guoping Chu Jin’an Chen Hao Zhang Yiqiu Jiang Yuedong Chen Wengbo Yang Lin Jiang Houfa Geng Rendong Zheng Yihui Li Wei Feng Boey Johnson Wenjuan Wang Dalong Zhu Yin Hu 2020Burns & Trauma2020,8,1:34
2Efficacy and safety of metformin and sitagliptin based triple antihyperglycemic therapy(STRATEGY):a multicenter,randomized,controlled,non-inferiority clinical trial显示文摘Despite the current guideline's recommendation of a timely stepwise intensification therapy,the 'clinical inertia',termed as the delayed treatment intensification,commonly exists in the real world,which may be partly due to the relatively little substantial evidence and no clear consensus regarding the efficacy and safety of triple oral agents in patients inadequately controlled with dual therapy.In this clinical trial performed in 237 centers in China,5,535 type 2 diabetic patients inadequately controlled by previous therapies were treated with a stable metformin/sitagliptin dual therapy for 20 weeks.The patients who did not reach the glycated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c) goal were then further randomized into glimepiride,gliclazide,repaglinide,or acarbose group for an additional 24-week triple therapy.A mean HbAlc reduction of 0.85%was observed when sitagliptin was added to the patients inadequately controlled with metformin in 16 weeks.Further HbAlc reductions in the 24-week triple therapy stage were 0.65%in glimepiride group,0.70%in gliclazide group,0.61%in repaglinide group,and 0.45%in acarbose group.The non-inferiority criterion for primary hypotheses was met for gliclazide and repaglinide,but not for acarbose,compared with glimepiride,when added to metformin/sitagliptin dual therapy.The incidences of adverse events(AEs) were 29.2%in the dual therapy stage and30.3%in the triple therapy stage.Metformin/sitagliptin as baseline therapy,with the addition of a third oral antihyperglycemic agent,including glimepiride,gliclazide,repaglinide,or acarbose,was effective,safe and well-tolerated for achieving an HbAlc<7.0%goal in type 2 diabetic patients inadequately controlled with previous therapies.The timely augmentation of up to three oral antihyperglycemic agents is valid and of important clinical benefit to prevent patients from exposure to unnecessarily prolonged hyperglycemia.Wen Xu Yiming Mu Jiajun Zhao Dalong Zhu Qiuhe Ji Zhiguang Zhou Bin Yao Anhua Mao Samuel S.Engel Bin Zhao Yan Bi Longyi Zeng Xingwu Ran Juming Lu Linong Ji Wenying Yang Weiping Jia Jianping Weng 2017Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,3:19
3STUDY ON SENSOR-BASED CONTROL METHOD FOR HARMONIC DRIVE SYSTEM显示文摘A new type of robust traje ctory tracking control for harmonic using joint torque sensor and joint acceleration sensor information is concerned with.Joint torque sensor information is used to compensate the uncertainty of link and load parameters. Joint acceleration feedback control will enhace the robustness of the driving system, resist the dynamic uncertainties and disturbing torque acted on the joint axis within definite bandwidth, improve the joint tracking performance, and resist the vibration of the load side of the harmonic drive system. 5Integrated analysis of transcriptomic and proteomic data from tree peony(P.ostii)seeds reveals key developmental stages and candidate genes related to oil biosynthesis and fatty acid metabolism显示文摘Tree peony(Paeonia section Moutan DC.)seeds are an excellent source of beneficial natural compounds that promote health,and they contain high levels of alpha-linolenic acid(ALA).In recent years,tree peony has been emerging as an oil crop.Therefore,combined analysis of the transcriptome and proteome of tree peony(P.ostii)seeds at 25,32,39,53,67,81,88,95,and 109 days after pollination(DAP)was conducted to better understand the transcriptional and translational regulation of seed development and oil biosynthesis.A total of 38,482 unigenes and 2841 proteins were identified.A total of 26,912 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)and 592 differentially expressed proteins(DEPs)were clustered into three groups corresponding to the rapid growth,seed inclusion enrichment and conversion,and late dehydration and mature stages of seed development.Fifteen lipid metabolism pathways were identified at both the transcriptome and proteome levels.Pathway enrichment analysis revealed that a period of rapid fatty acid biosynthesis occurred at 53–88 DAP.Furthermore,211 genes and 35 proteins associated with the fatty acid metabolism pathway,63 genes and 11 proteins associated with the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids(UFAs),and 115 genes and 24 proteins associated with ALA metabolism were identified.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that 16 putative fatty acid desaturase(FAD)-encoding genes clustered into four FAD groups,eight of which exhibited the highest expression at 53 DAP,suggesting that they play an important role in ALA accumulation.RT-qPCR analysis indicated that the temporal expression patterns of oil biosynthesis genes were largely similar to the RNA-seq results.The expression patterns of fatty acid metabolism-and seed development-related proteins determined by MRM were also highly consistent with the results obtained in the proteomic analysis.Correlation analysis indicated significant differences in the number and abundance of DEGs and DEPs but a high level of consistency in expression patterns and metabolic pathways.The results of the present study represent the first combined transcriptomic and proteomic analysis of tree peony seeds and provide insight into tree peony seed development and oil accumulation.Xiaojing Wang Haiying Liang Dalong Guo Lili Guo Xiangguang Duan Qishi Jia Xiaogai Hou 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:9

8Human CMTM2/CKLFSF2 enhances the ligand-induced transactivation of the androgen receptor显示文摘CKLF (chemokine-like factor)-like MARVEL (MAL and related proteins for vesicle trafficking and mem-brane link domain) transmembrane domain containing (CMTM) is a novel gene family. One member of this family, CMTM2, also named chemokine-like factor superfamily 2 (CKLFSF2), is expressed highly in the testis and moderately in the prostate, marrow and peripheral blood cells. However, the function of human CMTM2 remains unknown. Here, we found that CMTM2 was upregulated in 5α-dihydrotestos- terone (DHT)-treated LNCaP cells. We investigated the relationship between CMTM2 and the androgen receptor. Our results showed that CMTM2 enhanced DHT-mediated androgen receptor (AR) transacti-vation and the expression of prostate specific antigen (PSA). We also observed that CMTM2 enhanced the AR protein level, which was reversed by silencing endogenous CMTM2 expression, which sug-gested that CMTM2 might play an important role in maintaining the AR protein level. We also found that CMTM2 suppressed Akt activation. A previous study showed that Akt could phosphorylate AR at Ser210 and Ser790 and lead to AR ubiquitylation and degradation as well as suppression of AR activity. 9Center-configuration selection technique for the reconfigurable modular robot显示文摘The reconfigurable modular robot has an enormous amount of configurations to adapt to various environments and tasks. It greatly increases the complexity of configuration research in that the possible configuration number of the recon-figurable modular robot grows exponentially with the increase of module number. Being the initial configuration or the basic configuration of the reconfigurable robot, the center-configuration plays a crucial role in system’s actual applications. In this paper, a novel center-configuration selection technique has been proposed for re-configurable modular robots. Based on the similarities between configurations’ transformation and graph theory, configuration network has been applied in the modeling and analyzing of these configurations. Configuration adjacency matrix, reconfirmation cost matrix, and center-configuration coefficient have been defined for the configuration network correspondingly. Being similar to the center-location problem, the center configuration has been selected according to the largest cen-ter-configuration coefficient. As an example of the reconfigurable robotic system, AMOEBA-I, a three-module reconfigurable robot with nine configurations which was developed in Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), has been introduced briefly. According to the numerical simulation result, the center-configuration coefficients for these nine configurations have been calculated and compared to validate this technique. Lastly, a center- configu-ration selection example is provided with consideration of the adjacent configura-tions. 12The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 14CMTM4 inhibits cell proliferation and migration via AKT, ERK1/2,and STAT3 pathway in colorectal cancer显示文摘CMTM4(CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain containing 4),a potential tumor suppressor gene,is involved in several types of malignancies.It has been reported to be downregulated and exhibit anti-tumorigenic activities by regulating cell growth and cell cycle in clear cell renal cell carcinoma.It has also been identified as a tumor suppressor in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and its negative expression is a risk factor for poor prognosis of HCC patients.In the present study,an integrated bioinformatics analysis based on The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database showed that CMTM4 was frequently reduced in colorectal cancer(CRC)and high expression of CMTM4 was associated with increased overall survival rates.Based on these findings,we adopted gain-of-function and lost-of-function strategies using SW480 and HT29 CRC cell lines which have relatively low and high endogenous CMTM4 levels,respectively.We observed impeded cell proliferation and migration upon overexpression of CMTM4 in SW480 cells,and the opposite effects were observed upon knockdown of CMTM4 in HT-29 cells.Cell signaling pathways essential for CRC progression were then examined,and the phosphorylation levels of AKT,ERK1/2,and STAT3 were found to be decreased by CMTM4 overexpression in SW480 cells and elevated by CMTM4 silencing in HT29 cells.Their inhibitors were used to validate that the three signaling pathways contributed to the inhibitory effects of CMTM4 on CRC cells.Taken together,our results suggest that CMTM4 plays a tumor suppressive role in CRC.Hui Xue Ting Li Pingzhang Wang Xiaoning Mo Hejun Zhang Shigang Ding Dalong Ma Wenping Lv Jing Zhang Wenling Han 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,9:5
15Glycyrrhizic acid promotes sciatic nerves recovery in type 1 diabetic rats and protects Schwann cells from high glucose-induced cytotoxicity显示文摘The present study aims to investigate the therapeutic effect and mechanism of glycyrrhizic acid(GA)in diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).GA significantly mitigated nerve conduction velocity(NCV)deficit and morphological abnormality and reduced high-mobility group box-1(HMGB1)expression in the sciatic nerves of diabetic rats independent of blood glucose and body weight.Notably,GA alleviated the increase of HMGB1 and the decrease of cell viability in high glucose-stimulated RSC96 cells.Furthermore,GA obviously reduced the concentration of inflammatory cytokines in the sciatic nerves of diabetic rats and supernatants of high glucose-exposed RSC96 cells,then restored the decreased expression levels of nerve growth factor(NGF)and neuritin-1,and the increased expression levels of cleaved caspase-3 and neuron-specific enolase.Additionally,GA markedly inhibited receptor for advanced glycation end products(RAGE)expression,p38MAPK phosphorylation,and the nuclear translocation of NF-κBp65 in diabetic rats and high glucose-exposed RSC96 cells.The promotional effect of high glucose in RSC96 cells was diminished following Hmgb1 siRNA treatment.Our findings indicate that GA may exert neuroprotection on DPN by suppressing HMGB1,which lead to extenuation of inflammation response,balance of NGF,neuritin-1 and caspase-3,as well as inactivation of RAGE/p38MAPK/NF-κBp65 signaling pathway.Min Shi Xiangcheng Zhang Ridong Zhang Hong Zhang Dalong Zhu Xiao Han 2022The Journal of Biomedical Research2022,36,3:5

18Recombinant human PDCD5 protein enhances chemosensitivities of hematologic malignancies显示文摘PDCD5 is a novel apoptosis-related gene. Overexpression of PDCD5 facilitates apoptosis in various tumor cells. Here, we investigated the roles of recombinant human PDCD5 (rhPDCD5) protein in chemosensitivities of hematologic malignancies. The rhPDCD5 increased the in vitro cytotoxicity of daunorubicin (DNR), adriamycin (ADM) and As2O3 in three hematologic tumor cell lines. In vivo studies showed that DNR combined with rhPDCD5 significantly suppressed tumor growth of U937 xenograft nude mice compared with DNR alone. 19Single-shot spectral-volumetric compressed ultrafast photography显示文摘In ultrafast optical imaging,it is critical to obtain the spatial structure,temporal evolution,and spectral composition of the object with snapshots in order to better observe and understand unrepeatable or irreversible dynamic scenes.However,so far,there are no ultrafast optical imaging techniques that can simultaneously capture the spatial–temporal–spectral five-dimensional(5D)information of dynamic scenes.To break the limitation of the existing techniques in imaging dimensions,we develop a spectral-volumetric compressed ultrafast photography(SV-CUP)technique.In our SV-CUP,the spatial resolutions in the x,y and z directions are,respectively,0.39,0.35,and 3 mm with an 8.8 mm×6.3 mm field of view,the temporal frame interval is 2 ps,and the spectral frame interval is 1.72 nm.To demonstrate the excellent performance of our SV-CUP in spatial–temporal–spectral 5D imaging,we successfully measure the spectrally resolved photoluminescent dynamics of a 3D mannequin coated with CdSe quantum dots.Our SV-CUP brings unprecedented detection capabilities to dynamic scenes,which has important application prospects in fundamental research and applied science.Pengpeng Ding Yunhua Yao Dalong Qi Chengshuai Yang Fengyan Cao Yilin He Jiali Yao Chengzhi Jin Zhengqi Huang Li Deng Lianzhong Deng Tianqing Jia Jinyang Liang Zhenrong Sun Shian Zhang 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,4:3
20Optimal Control of Slurry Pressure during Shield Tunnelling Based on Random Forest and Particle Swarm Optimization显示文摘The control of slurry pressure aiming to be consistent with the external water and earth pressure during shield tunnelling has great significance for face stability,especially in urban areas or underwater where the surrounding environment is very sensitive to the fluctuation of slurry pressure.In this study,an optimal control method for slurry pressure during shield tunnelling is developed,which is composed of an identifier and a controller.The established identifier based on the random forest(RF)can describe the complex non-linear relationship between slurry pressure and its influencing factors.The proposed controller based on particle swarm optimization(PSO)can optimize the key factor to precisely control the slurry pressure at the normal state of advancement.A data set from Tsinghua Yuan Tunnel in China was used to train the RF model and several performance measures like R2,RMSE,etc.,were employed to evaluate.Then,the hybrid RF-PSO control method is adopted to optimize the control of slurry pressure.The good agreement between optimized slurry pressure and expected values demonstrates a high identifying and control precision.Weiping Luo Dajun Yuan Dalong Jin Ping Lu Jian Chen 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,7:3
