| 1 | CE/SE方法在非定常爆轰计算中的应用显示文摘建立了非定常爆轰波的理论模型。根据CE/SE方法的基本思想,推导出适合于求解二维N S方程的长方形网格的CE/SE方法。对于包含刚性反应源项的守恒方程组,将其分为两部分,其中刚性反应源项单独求解。本文以爆轰管内装填C3H8/O2预混气体为例,数值模拟管内爆轰波的传播过程以及爆轰波脱离爆轰管后流场的图谱。计算结果显示,爆轰波在管内传播时,其波系极其复杂。当爆轰波离开出口后,迅速熄灭为非反应的激波。管外不仅有激波、膨胀波的传播,而且还存在激波与涡的相互作用。数值实践表明,该CE/SE方法可以有效捕获爆轰波与激波等强间断。 | 翁春生 Tay P Gore | 2003 | 空气动力学学报2003,21,3: | 16 |

| 3 | Metformin does not improve survival in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM:To assess whether metformin,which has a chemopreventive effect in chronic liver disease,has any chemotherapeutic effect in hepatocellular carcinoma.METHODS:This was a retrospective study of 701 patients with newly diagnosed hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)seen between January 2005 and June 2011 at Mayo Clinic,Rochester,Minnesota.This patient cohort was a part of the global HCC BRIDGE study,which is a large longitudinal study of HCC determining the realworld experience of HCC characteristics,management and patient outcomes.We defined significant metformin exposure as continuation of this agent at least 90d beyond diagnosis of HCC,and compared survival of diabetic patients on metformin to diabetic patients not on metformin and non-diabetics.RESULTS:Our cohort was 72.9%male,with a mean±SD age of 62.6±12.3 years.The most common etiologies of liver disease were hepatitis C(34%),alcoholic liver disease(29%),fatty liver disease(15%)and hepatitis B(9%).By univariate analysis,using diabetics not on metformin as the reference group,diabetic patients with HCC on metformin had no survival advantage,with a HR(95%CI)of 1.0(0.8-1.3).Non-diabetic HCC patients also did not appear to have a survival advantage as compared to diabetic HCC patients not on metformin,as demonstrated by a HR(95%CI)of1.1(0.7-1.7).Diabetics on metformin beyond 90 d after HCC diagnosis had a longer median survival at 34.2 mo,as compared to 25.5 mo among diabetic patients who were not on metformin or had discontinued metformin within 90 d after HCC diagnosis.This finding was likely due to potential survival bias among those who lived long enough to receive metformin.CONCLUSION:Although the literature suggests a chemotherapeutic effect in other malignancies,our study demonstrates no survival benefit to the use of metformin in diabetic patients with HCC. | Mamatha Bhat Roongruedee Chaiteerakij William S Harmsen Cathy D Schleck Ju Dong Yang Nasra H Giama Terry M Therneau Gregory J Gores Lewis R Roberts | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,42: | 11 |
| 4 | Proteasome inhibition-induces endoplasmic reticulum dysfunction and cell death of human cholangiocarcinoma cells显示文摘AIM: To determine if proteasome inhibition induces apoptosis in human cholangiocarcinoma cells, and if so, to elucidate the cellular mechanisms. METHODS: Studies were performed in the human KMCH, KMBC, and Mz-ChA-1 cholangiocarcinoma, and normal rat cell lines. MG132, a peptide aldehyde, which inhibits the chymotrypsin-like activity of the proteaosome was employed for this study. Apoptosis was assessed morphologically by 4'-6-Diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) nuclear staining and fluorescence microscopy. Mitochondrial membrane potential was examined using a fluorescent unquenching assay. Ultrastructural changes during cell death were examined using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Caspase 3/7 activity was assessed using an enzymatic-based fluorescent assay. Cytosolic-free calcium concentrations were measured using Fura-2 and digitized fluorescent microscopy. RESULTS: MG132, a proteasome inhibitor, induced apoptosis in all the cholangiocarcinoma cell lines examined. In contrast, minimal cytotoxicity was observed in normal rat cholangiocytes. Apoptosis was time-and -concentration-dependent. There was no change in the mitochondrial membrane potential between treated and untreated cells. Ultrastructural examination by transmission electron microscopy displayed the classic features of apoptosis, but in addition, there was also dramatic vacuolization of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Unexpectedly, no increase in caspase 3/7 activity was observed in MG132 treated cells, nor did the pancaspase inhibitor, Q-VD-OPh prevent cell death. The protein synthesis inhibitor, cycloheximide, blocked apoptosis induced by proteosome inhibitor indicating that ER dysfunction was dependent upon the formation of new proteins. CONCLUSION: Proteosome inhibition induces ERdysfunction and caspase-independent cell death selectively in human cholangiocarcinoma cells. | 5 | Clinical significance of mesenteric panniculitis-like abnormalities on abdominal computerized tomography in patients with malignant neoplasms显示文摘AIM To clarify the association of malignancy with mesenteric panniculitis-like changes on computed tomography(CT).METHODS All abdominal CT scans performed at North Shore University HealthS ystem showing mesenteric panniculitis from January 2005 to August 2010 were identified in the Radnet(Rad Net Corporation, Los Angeles, CA) database. Patients with a new or known diagnosis of a malignancy were included for this analysis. Longitudinal clinical histories were obtained from electronic medical records.RESULTS In total, 147794 abdominal CT scans were performed during the study period. Three hundred and fiftynine patients had mesenteric panniculitis(MP)-like abnormalities on their abdominal CT. Of these patients, 81 patients(22.6%) had a known history of cancer at the time of their CT scan. Nineteen(5.3%) had a new diagnosis of cancer in concurrence with their CT, but the majority of these(14/19, 74%) were undergoing CT as part of a malignancy evaluation. Lymphomas were the most common cancers associated with MPlike findings on CT(36 cases, 36%), with follicular lymphoma being the most frequent subtype(17/36). A variety of solid tumors, most commonly prostate(7) and renal cell cancers(6) also were seen. CT follow up was obtained in 56 patients. Findings in the mesentery were unchanged in 45(80%), worsened in 6(11%), and improved in 5 patients(9%). Positron emission tomography(PET) scans performed in 44 patients only showed a positive uptake in the mesenteric mass in 2 patients(5%). CONCLUSION A new diagnosis of cancer is uncommon in patients with CT findings suggestive of MP. MP-like mesenteric abnormalities on CT generally remain stable in patients with associated malignancies. | 6 | Spectroscopic analysis on the binding interaction of biologically active pyrimidine derivative with bovine serum albumin显示文摘A biologically active antibacterial reagent, 2–amino-6-hydroxy–4–(4-N, N-dimethylaminophenyl)-pyrimidine-5-carbonitrile(AHDMAPPC), was synthesized. It was employed to investigate the binding interaction with the bovine serum albumin(BSA) in detail using different spectroscopic methods. It exhibited antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus which are common food poisoning bacteria. The experimental results showed that the fluorescence quenching of model carrier protein BSA by AHDMAPPC was due to static quenching. The site binding constants and number of binding sites(n E 1) were determined at three different temperatures based on fluorescence quenching results. The thermodynamic parameters, enthalpy change(ΔH), free energy(ΔG) and entropy change(ΔS) for the reaction were calculated to be 15.15 k J/mol, –36.11 k J/mol and 51.26 J/mol K according to van't Hoff equation, respectively. The results indicated that the reaction was an endothermic and spontaneous process, and hydrophobic interactions played a major role in the binding between drug and BSA. The distance between donor and acceptor is 2.79 nm according to F?rster's theory. The alterations of the BSA secondary structure in the presence of AHDMAPPC were confirmed by UV–visible, synchronous fluorescence, circular dichroism(CD) and three-dimensional fluorescence spectra. All these results indicated that AHDMAPPC can bind to BSA and be effectively transported and eliminated in the body. It can be a useful guideline for further drug design. | Vishwas D. | 7 | 1999~2006年急性冠脉综合征患者死亡及心力衰竭发生率降低显示文摘背景:有关药物和介入治疗对ST段抬高型和非ST段抬高型急性冠脉综合征(non—ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome,NSTE ACS)患者的作用,随机试验已经提供了足够的证据,但是是否已经转化为相应的临床变化还不清楚。
目的:确定ST段抬高型心肌梗死(ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction,STEMI)和NSTE ACS患者的院内治疗改变是否伴随临床结果的改善。
设计、地点及患者:全球急性冠脉事件注册研究(Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events,GRACE)是一项多国家队列研究。自1999年7月1日至2006年12月31日,该研究共入选并随访了来自14个国家、113家医院的44372例ACS患者。
主要观测指标:当前循证药物和介入治疗应用的趋势及患者预后(死亡、充血性心力衰竭、肺水肿、心源性休克、卒中和心肌梗死)。
结果:随着研究时间的进展,相关药物的应用增加(β-受体阻滞剂、他汀类药物、血管紧张素转换酶抑制剂、行或未行经皮冠状动脉介入治疗[percutaneous coronary intervention,PCI]患者应用噻氯毗啶、糖蛋白Ⅱb/Ⅲa抑制剂和低分子肝素;P〈0.001)。STEMI患者药物再灌注治疗下降了22个百分点(95%可信区间[confidence interval,CI],-27~-17),而直接PCI增加了37个百分点(95%CI,33—41)。在NSTEMI患者中,PCI的比例显著升高了18个百分点(95%CI,15~20)。充血性心力衰竭和肺水肿在STEMI患者中降低了9个百分点(95%CI,-12~-6),在NSTEACS患者中降低了6.9个百分点(95%CI,-8.4~-4.7)。STEMI患者的院内死亡率降低了18个百分点(95%CI,-5.3~-1.9),心源性休克降低了24个百分点(95%CI,-4.3~-0.5)。校正了危险评分后,NSTEACS患者的院内死亡率降低了0.7个百分点(95%CI,-1.7~0.3);STEMI患者6个月随访时卒中发生率降低了0.8个百分点(95%CI,-1.7~0.1),心肌梗死发生率降低了2.8个百分点(95%CI,-6.4~0.9)。NSTEACS患者6个月死亡率降低了1.6个百分点(95%CI,-3.0~-0.1),卒中发生率降低了0.7个百分点(95%CI,-1.4~0.1)。

| 10 | Natural Colonization of Rice by Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in Different Production Areas显示文摘Interactions between plants and soil microorganisms can influence the other interactions in which plants participate, including interactions with herbivores. Many fungi, including arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF), form symbiotic relationships with the roots they inhabit, and potentially alter defense against pests. The objective of this study was to document the extent of root colonization by AMF on non-flooded rice plants grown under conditions typical of commercial fields. We hypothesized that AMF naturally colonized rice plants in different rice producing field locations. Rice plant samples were collected from areas across the southern United States, including Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas and two research stations in Louisiana. We quantified the amount of AMF colonization in insecticide-free rice plants over three consecutive years(2014–2016). The results revealed natural colonization of AMF in all rice producing areas. In all the three years of survey, rice-AMF associations were the greatest in Arkansas followed by Mississippi and Texas.
