1Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in China:A Nationwide Multi-center Population-based Study Among Children Aged 6 to 12 Years显示文摘This study aimed to obtain the first national estimate of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in Chinese children.We targeted the population of 6 to 12-year-old children for this prevalence study by multistage convenient cluster sampling.The Modified Chinese Autism Spectrum Rating Scale was used for the screening process.Of the target population of 142,086 children,88.5%(n=125,806) participated in the study.A total of 363 children were confirmed as having ASD.The observed ASD prevalence rate was 0.29%(95% CI:0.26%-0.32%) for the overall population.After adjustment for response rates,the estimated number of ASD cases was867 in the target population sample,thereby achieving an estimated prevalence of 0.70%(95% CI:0.64%-0.74%).The prevalence was significantly higher in boys than in girls(0.95%;95% CI:0.87%-1.02% versus 0.30%;95%CI:0.26%-0.34%;P <0.001).Of the 363 confirmed ASD cases,43.3% were newly diagnosed,and most of those(90.4%) were attending regular schools,and 68.8% of the children with ASD had at least one neuropsychiatric comorbidity.Our findings provide reliable data on the estimated ASD prevalence and comorbidities in Chinese children.Hao Zhou Xiu Xu Weili Yan Xiaobing Zou Lijie Wu Xuerong Luo Tingyu Li Yi Huang Hongyan Guan Xiang Chen Meng Mao Kun Xia Lan Zhang Erzhen Li Xiaoling Ge Lili Zhang Chunpei Li Xudong Zhang Yuanfeng Zhou Ding Ding Andy Shih Eric Fombonne Yi Zheng Jisheng Han Zhongsheng Sun Yong-hui Jiang Yi Wang LATENT-NHC Study Team 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,9:158
2The PI3K/AKT Pathway and Renal Cell Carcinoma显示文摘The phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase(PI3K)/AKT pathway is genetically targeted in more pathway components and in more tumor types than any other growth factor signaling pathway,and thus is frequently activated as a cancer driver.More importantly,the PI3K/AKT pathway is composed of multiple bifurcating and converging kinase cascades,providing many potential targets for cancer therapy.Renal cell carcinoma(RCC) is a high-risk and high-mortality cancer that is notoriously resistant to traditional chemotherapies or radiotherapies.The PI3K/AKT pathway is modestly mutated but highly activated in RCC,representing a promising drug target.Indeed,PI3 K pathway inhibitors of the rapalog family are approved for use in RCC.Recent large-scale integrated analyses of a large number of patients have provided a molecular basis for RCC,reiterating the critical role of the PI3K/AKT pathway in this cancer.In this review,we summarize the genetic alterations of the PI3K/AKT pathway in RCC as indicated in the latest large-scale genome sequencing data,as well as treatments for RCC that target the aberrant activated PI3K/AKT pathway.Huifang Guo Peter German Shanshan Bai Sean Barnes Wei Guo Xiangjie Qi Hongxiang Lou Jiyong Liang Eric Jonasch Gordon B.Mills Zhiyong Ding 2015Journal of Genetics and Genomics2015,42,7:39

4Robust Fault-tolerant Iterative Learning Control for Discrete Systems via Linear Repetitive Processes Theory显示文摘This paper addresses the problem of robust iterative learning control design for a class of uncertain multiple-input multipleoutput discrete linear systems with actuator faults. The stability theory for linear repetitive processes is used to develop formulas for gain matrices design, together with convergent conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities. 5Red meat intake and the risk of endometrial cancer:Metaanalysis of observational studies显示文摘AIM:To evaluate whether red meat intake is related to the risk of endometrial cancer(EC) using meta-analysis.METHODS:We searched Pub Med,EMBASE,and the Cochrane Library up to June 2013,using common keywords related to red meat and EC.Case-control studies and cohort studies comparing the risk of endometrial cancer among categories by the amount of intake were included.Eleven case-control studies and five cohort studies met our criteria.We performed a conventional and a dose-response meta-analysis of case-control studies using the Der Simonian-Laird method for random-effects.For cohort studies we performed a conventional meta-analysis.Publication bias was evaluated using Egger's test.RESULTS:In the meta-analysis of 11 case-control studies including 5419 cases and 12654 controls,higher red meat consumption was associated with an increased risk of EC [summary relative risk(SRR) = 1.43,95%CI:1.15-1.79;I2 = 73.3% comparing extreme intake categories).In a dose-response analysis,for red meat intake of 100 g/d,SRR was 1.84(95%CI:1.64-2.05).In contrast,in the meta-analysis of five prospective studies including a total of 2549 cases among 247746 participants,no significant association between red meat intake and EC risk(SRR = 0.97,95%CI:0.85-1.11;I2 = 4.9% comparing extreme intake categories) was observed.CONCLUSION:Our meta-analysis found a significantlinear association between red meat intake and EC risk based on case-control studies but this was not confirmed in prospective studies.Woong Ju Na Na Keum Dong Hoon Lee Yun Hwan Kim Seung Cheol Kim Eric L Ding Eunyoung Cho 2015World Journal of Meta-Analysis2015,3,2:2

11内源性性激素与2型糖尿病发病风险的性别差异—系统综述与汇总分析显示文摘背景:不同资料提示,2型糖尿病的某些病因有赖于患者性别,而内源性性激素可能在其中发挥着一定作用。举例而言,高水平的雄激素可增加女性发生2型糖尿病的风险,降低男性发生2型糖尿病的风险。 目的:很多研究观测了血浆睾酮、性激素结合球蛋白(sexhormone-binding globulin,SHBG)以及雌二醇水平与2型糖尿病发病风险的关系,对这些相关研究进行系统评估。资料来源:采用关键词diabetes(糖尿病)、testosterone(睾酮)、sexhormone-binding globulin(性激素结合球蛋白)和estradiol(雌二醇)系统检索EMBASE和MEDLINE(1996年至2005年6月)收录的英文文献,检出文章的参考文献,并与作者直接联系。 研究选取:在检出的80篇文献中发现43篇前瞻性、横断面研究,这些研究共纳入6974名女性和6427名男性,均提供了病例和对照的相对危险度(relative risks,RRs)或激素水平。 数据提取:由两名研究者运用标准方案分别提取有关研究设计、参试者特征、激素水平和危险评估的资料。数据综合:采用随机效应和汇总回归分析、汇总研究结果。横断面研究显示,与对照组(平均差异,6.1rig/dL;95%可信区间[confidenceinterval,CI],2.3-10.1)相比,2型糖尿病男性患者睾酮水平显著下降(平均差异,-76.6ng/dL;95%CI,-99.4-53.6),而2型糖尿病女性患者睾酮水平升高,性别间的差异具有显著性(P〈0.001)。前瞻性研究还发现,睾酮水平较高的男性发生2型糖尿病的风险可下降42%(RR,0.58;95%CI,0.39—0.87),睾酮水平升高可增加女性患2型糖尿病的风险(性别差异P=0.06)。前瞻性横断面研究发现,与男性相比,SHBG更能有效保护女性,避免后者发生2型糖尿病(性别差异P≤0.01)。前瞻性研究显示,SHBG水平较高的女性其2型糖尿病的患病风险可下降80%(RR,0.20;95%CI,0.12—0.30),而SHBG水平较高的男性其患病风险可下降52%(RR,0.48;95%CI,0.33—0.69)。与对照组相比,糖尿病男性患者和绝经后女性患者雌二醇水平明显升高(P=0.007)。 结论:该系统综述表明,内源性性激素可能在特异性调节糖代谢状态和2型糖尿病发病风险方面存在性别差异。睾酮水平升高可增加女性患2型糖尿病的风险,可降低男性患2型糖尿病的风险;SHBG水平与2型糖尿病发病风险呈负相关,女性的相关程度比男性密切。Eric L.
