| 2 | Fulminant myocarditis in adults: a narrative review显示文摘Fulminant myocarditis(FM)is an uncommon syndrome characterized by sudden and severe hemodynamic compromise secondary to acute myocardial inflammation,often presenting as profound cardiogenic shock,life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias and/or electrical storm.FM may be refractory to conventional therapies and require mechanical circulatory support(MCS).The immune system has been recognized as playing a pivotal role in the pathophysiology of myocarditis,leading to an increased focus on immunosuppressive treatment strategies.Recent data have highlighted not only the fact that FM has significantly worse outcomes than non-FM,but that prognosis and management strategies of FM are heavily dependent on histological subtype,placing greater emphasis on the role of endomyocardial biopsy in diagnosis.The impact of subtype on severity and prognosis will likewise influence how aggressively the myocarditis is managed,including whether MCS is warranted.Many patients with refractory cardiogenic shock secondary to FM end up requiring MCS,with venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation demonstrating favorable survival rates,particularly when initiated prior to the development of multiorgan failure.Among the challenges facing the field are the need to more precisely identify immunopathophysiological pathways in order to develop targeted therapies,and the need to better optimize the timing and management of MCS to minimize complications and maximize outcomes. | Santiago Montero Darryl Abrams Enrico Ammirati Florent Huang Dirk WDonker Guillaume Hekimian Cosme García-García Antoni Bayes-Genis Alain Combes Matthieu Schmidt | 2022 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2022，19，2： | 3 |

| 5 | Regulation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling by herpesviruses显示文摘The Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway is instrumental in successful differentiation and proliferation of mammalian cells. It is therefore not surprising that the herpesvirus family has developed mechanisms to interact with and manipulate this pathway. Successful coexistence with the host requires that herpesviruses establish a lifelong infection that includes periods of latency and reactivation or persistence. Many herpesviruses establish latency in progenitor cells and viral reactivation is linked to host-cell proliferation and differentiation status. Importantly, Wnt/β-catenin is tightly connected to stem/progenitor cell maintenance and differentiation. Numerous studies have linked Wnt/β-catenin signaling to a variety of cancers, emphasizing the importance of Wnt/β-catenin pathways in development, tissue homeostasis and disease. | 6 | Smoothelin,a new marker to determine the origin of liver fibrogenic cells显示文摘AIM:To explore this hypothesis that smooth muscle cells may be capable of acquiring a myofibroblastic phenotype,we have studied the expression of smoothelin in fibrotic conditions.METHODS:Normal liver tissue(n=3)was obtained from macroscopically normal parts of hepatectomy,taken at a distance from hemangiomas.Pathological specimens included post-burn cutaneous hypertrophic scars(n=3),fibrotic liver tissue(n=5),cirrhotic tissue(viral and alcoholic hepatitis)(n=5),and hepatocellular carcinomas(n=5).Tissue samples were fixed in 10%formalin and embedded in paraffin for immunohistochemistry or were immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen-cooled isopentane for confocal microscopy analysis.Sections were stained with antibodies against smoothelin,which is expressed exclusively by smooth muscle cells,andα-smooth muscle actin,which is expressed by both smooth muscle cells and myofibroblasts.RESULTS:In hypertrophic scars,α-smooth muscle actin was detected in vascular smooth muscle cells and in numerous myofibroblasts present in and around nodules,whereas smoothelin was exclusively expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells.In the normal liver,vascular smooth muscle cells were the only cells that expressα-smooth muscle actin and smoothelin.In fibrotic areas of the liver,myofibroblasts expressingα-smooth muscle actin were detected.Myofibroblasts co-expressingα-smooth muscle actin and smoothelin were observed,and their number was slightly increased in parallel with the degree of fibrosis(absent in liver with mild or moderate fibrosis;5%to 10%positive in liver showing severe fibrosis).In cirrhotic septa,numerous myofibroblasts co-expressedα-smooth muscle actin and smoothelin(more than 50%).In hepatocellular carcinomas,the same pattern of expression forα-smooth muscle actin and smoothelin was observed in the stroma reaction surrounding the tumor and around tumoral cell plates.In all pathological liver samples,α-smooth muscle actin and smoothelin were co-expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells.CONCLUSION:During development of advanced liver fibrosis,a subpopulation of myofibroblasts expressing smoothelin may be derived from vascular smooth muscle cells,illustrating the different cellular origins of myofibroblasts. | Sébastien Lepreux Christelle Guyot Fabrice Billet Chantal Combe Charles Balabaud Paulette Bioulac-Sage Alexis Desmoulière | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013，19，48： | 2 |
| 7 | 高羊茅干草部分替代玉米和紫花苜蓿青贮饲料对奶牛消化、泌乳性能的影响显示文摘试验旨在研究高羊茅干草替代玉米或紫花苜蓿青贮对奶牛中性洗涤纤维(NDF)消化率、泌乳性能的影响。选取初产哺乳荷斯坦奶牛(产奶75±35 d)24头,经产荷斯坦奶牛(产奶68±19 d)40头,随机分成4组,共设置32个进料闸门,记录采食量。每组8个进料阀门,以1头牛为1个试验单位,每头牛试验过程中可接触8个进料闸门。试验用高羊茅干草(TF)取代玉米青贮饲料(CS)或紫花苜蓿青贮饲料(AS),试验设计为:33%AS和67%CS(空白组)、60%TF和40%AS(试验1组)、60%TF和40%CS(试验2组)、33%TF和67%CS(试验3组)。试验进行7周,前2周进行预饲。试验结果表明,各组间牛奶产量无显著差异,平均值为40.4 kg·d^(-1)。各组间牛奶中脂肪含量和浓度、蛋白质含量和浓度均无显著差异,平均值为1.58 kg·d^(-1)和3.94%、1.28 kg·d^(-1)和3.15%。与试验1组(22.1 kg·d^(-1))、试验3组(22.7 kg·d^(-1))相比,空白组的干物质摄入量最高,为24.5kg·d^(-1)。各组间总的干物质消化率无显著差异,平均值为66.2%。与试验2组(44.4%)、试验3组(45.3%)相比,空白组的NDF消化率较低,为37.8%,与试验1组(42.4%)相近。各组间奶牛体内NDF消化率(42.3%)与预估的NDF消化率(42.6%)相近。试验结果表明,饲喂高羊茅干草可提高饲料中NDF消化率,部分替代玉米和紫花苜蓿时对产奶量无显著影响,在市场价格较低时,可作为经济实用的奶牛饲料。 | Bender R W Lopes F Cook D E Combs D K | 2016 | 饲料博览2016，0，8： | 2 |

| 9 | Bitter receptor TAS2R138 facilitates lipid droplet degradation in neutrophils during Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection显示文摘Bitter receptors function primarily in sensing taste,but may also have other functions,such as detecting pathogenic organisms due to their agile response to foreign objects.The mouse taste receptor type-2 member 138(TAS2R138)is a member of the G-protein-coupled bitter receptor family,which is not only found in the tongue and nasal cavity,but also widely distributed in other organs,such as the respiratory tract,gut,and lungs.Despite its diverse functions,the role of TAS2R138 in host defense against bacterial infection is largely unknown.Here,we show that TAS2R138 facilitates the degradation of lipid droplets(LDs)in neutrophils during Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection through competitive binding with PPARG(peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma)antagonist:A/-(3-oxododecanoyl)-L-homoserine lactone(AHL-12),which coincidently is a virulence-bound signal produced by this bacterium(P.aeruginosa).The released PPARG then migrates from nuclei to the cytoplasm to accelerate the degradation of LDs by binding PLIN2(perilipin-2).Subsequently,the TAS2R138-AHL-12 complex targets LDs to augment their degradation,and thereby facilitating the clearance of AHL-12 in neutrophils to maintain homeostasis in the local environment.These findings reveal a crucial role for TAS2R138 in neutrophil-mediated host immunity against P.aeruginosa infection. | Qinqin Pu Kai Guo Ping Lin Zhihan Wang Shugang Qin Pan Gao Colin Combs Nadeem Khan Zhenwei Xia Min Wu | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021，6，7： | 2 |
