1Principles and technology for stepwise utilization of resources for mitigating deep mine heat hazards显示文摘As is well known, deep mines are hot. As mining depth increases, the temperature of the surrounding rock also increases. This seriously affects mine safety and production and has restricted the exploitation of deep coal resources. Therefore, reducing the working face temperature to improve working conditions by controlling these heat hazards is an urgent problem. Considering problems in cooling deep mines both domestically and abroad along with the actual conditions of the Zhangshuanglou coal mine, we propose a HEMS technology that uses heat resources from deep mines in a stepwise manner. HEMS means a high temperature ex-change machinery system. Mine inrush-water is used as a source of cooling. Twice the energy is extracted from the mine inrush water. Heat is used for building heating in the winter and cold water is used for cooling buildings in the summer. This opens a new technology for stepwise utilization of heat energy in deep mines. Energy conservation and reduced pollution, an improved environment and sustainable economic development are realized by this technique. 3Human endogenous retrovirus W env increases nitric oxide production and enhances the migration ability of microglia by regulating the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase显示文摘Human endogenous retrovirus W env(HERV-W env) plays a critical role in many neuropsychological diseases such as schizophrenia and multiple sclerosis(MS). These diseases are accompanied by immunological reactions in the central nervous system(CNS). Microglia are important immunocytes in brain inflammation that can produce a gasotransmitter – nitric oxide(NO). NO not only plays a role in the function of neuronal cells but also participates in the pathogenesis of various neuropsychological diseases. In this study, we reported increased NO production in CHME-5 microglia cells after they were transfected with HERV-W env. Moreover, HERV-W env increased the expression and function of human inducible nitric oxide synthase(hi NOS) and enhanced the promoter activity of hi NOS. Microglial migration was also enhanced. These data revealed that HERV-W env might contribute to increase NO production and microglial migration ability in neuropsychological disorders by regulating the expression of inducible NOS. 10Research of Microstructure,Phase,and Mechanical Properties of Aluminum-Dross-Based Porous Ceramics显示文摘In this study,the effect of sintering temperature and the addition of kaolin,a sintering agent,on the microscopic,phase,and mechanical properties of ceramics were investigated using secondary aluminum dross(SAD)as the main component in the manufacturing of ceramics.The basic phases of the ceramics were Al_(2)O_(3),MgAl_(2)O_(4),NaAl_(11)O_(17),and SiO_(2)without the addition of kaolin.The diffraction peaks of MgAl_(2)O_(4),NaAl_(11)O_(17),and SiO_(2)kept decreasing while those of Al_(2)O_(3)kept increasing with an increase in temperature.In addition,the increase in temperature promoted the growth of the grains.The grains were uniform in size and regular in distribution,with a shrinkage of 2.2%,porosity of 72.5%,bulk density of 1.076 g/cm^(3),and compressive strength of 1.12 MPa.When the sintering temperature was 1450°C,the basic phases of the ceramic after the addition of kaolin were Al_(2)O_(3),MgAl_(2)O_(4),NaAl_(11)O_(17),and SiO_(2).With the increase of kaolin,the diffraction peaks of NaAl_(11)O_(17)and SiO_(2)decreased until they disappeared,while the diffraction peaks of Al_(2)O_(3)increased significantly.When kaolin was added at 30 wt.%,the ceramics obtained had shrinkage of 18%,a porosity of 47.26%,a bulk density of 1.965 g/cm^(3),and compressive strength of 31.9 MPa.Cracks existed inside the ceramics without the addition of kaolin,while the addition of kaolin significantly changed this defect.It is shown that SAD can obtain porous ceramics with good properties at a sintering temperature of 1450°C and a kaolin addition of 30 wt.%.Liang Yu Yuan Liu Xiuling Cao Yulong Yan Chen Zhang Yanli Jiang 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,7:0
11Oxygen-deficient TiO_(2) Yolk-shell Spheres for Enhanced Lithium Storage Properties显示文摘Anatase TiO_(2) is a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)owing to its low cost and stability.However,the intrinsically kinetic limits seriously hindered its lithium-ion storage capability.Here we present that anatase TiO_(2) with rich oxygen vacancies can enhance its lithium-ion storage performance.We synthesize anatase TiO_(2) with well-retained hierarchical structure by annealing the H_(2)Ti_(5)O_(11)·3H_(2)O yolk-shell spheres precursor in nitrogen atmosphere.EPR and XPS data evidence that the oxygen-deficient environment could generate abundant oxygen vacancies in the as-derived anatase TiO_(2),which leads to improved electron conductivity and reduced charge-transfer resistance.The rich oxygen vacancies and high structural integrity of the hierarchical yolk-shell spheres enable the as-derived anatase TiO_(2) yolk-shell spheres with a high specific capacity of 280 mAh g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1) and 71%of capacity retention after 5000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1).Zhaoqian Li Yuqi Peng Chaofeng Liu Xianxi Zhang Xiuling Li Yang Huang Yingke Ren Denghui Ji Guozhong Cao 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,1:0
