| 1 | Pregnancies established through intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) using spermatozoa with dysplasia of fibrous sheath显示文摘Aim: Dysplasia of the fibrous sheath (DFS) is an anomaly found in asthenozoospermic patients with extremely low or absent motility. In order to determine the efficacy of ICSI in these patients, a retrospective analysis of ICSI results in DFS patients has been done. Methods: Ten ICSI attempts were performed in 6 patients with diagnosis of Dysplasia of the Fibrous Sheath studied by transmission and scanning electron microscopy. Results: In the cases studied, sperm concentration was (29.62 _+ 18.05) x 106/mL, total motility was 1.14 _+ 1.31%. Progressive motility was 0% except for one case with 0.1%. One hundred and three preovulatory oocytes were obtained and 94 metaphase 11 oocytes were injected. Sixty-nine of them showed two pronuclei (fertilization rate: 73.4% ). Forty-nine embryos were obtained and 34 were transferred (mean: 3.4 embryos per transfer). Five pregnancies were diagnosed by β-hCG plasma level determinations that resulted to be one preclinical abortion, one clinical abortion and three deliveries. Another pregnancy (ongoing) was achieved from a cryopreserved embryo transfer. Conclusion: These results showed that ICSI provides a suitable solution for patients suffering from irreversible sperm defects such as DFS. Nevertheless, it is mandatory to inform couples of possible transmission risks to offspring, which are unknown at present. | 2 | Grasp Planning and Visual Servoing for an Outdoors Aerial Dual Manipulator显示文摘This paper describes a system for grasping known objects with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) provided with dual manipulators using an RGB-D camera. Aerial manipulation remains a very challenging task. This paper covers three principal aspects for this task: object detection and pose estimation, grasp planning, and in-flight grasp execution. First, an artificial neural network (ANN) is used to obtain clues regarding the object’s position. Next, an alignment algorithm is used to obtain the object’s sixdimensional (6D) pose, which is filtered with an extended Kalman filter. A three-dimensional (3D) model of the object is then used to estimate an arranged list of good grasps for the aerial manipulator. The results from the detection algorithm—that is, the object’s pose—are used to update the trajectories of the arms toward the object. If the target poses are not reachable due to the UAV’s oscillations, the algorithm switches to the next feasible grasp. | 5 | A PD-Type State-Dependent Riccati Equation With Iterative Learning Augmentation for Mechanical Systems显示文摘This work proposes a novel proportional-derivative(PD)-type state-dependent Riccati equation(SDRE)approach with iterative learning control(ILC)augmentation.On the one hand,the PD-type control gains could adopt many useful available criteria and tools of conventional PD controllers.On the other hand,the SDRE adds nonlinear and optimality characteristics to the controller,i.e.,increasing the stability margins.These advantages with the ILC correction part deliver a precise control law with the capability of error reduction by learning.The SDRE provides a symmetric-positive-definite distributed nonlinear suboptimal gain K(x)for the control input law u=–R–1(x)BT(x)K(x)x.The sub-blocks of the overall gain R–1(x)BT(x)K(x),are not necessarily symmetric positive definite.A new design is proposed to transform the optimal gain into two symmetric-positive-definite gains like PD-type controllers as u=–KSP(x)e–KSD(x)?.The new form allows us to analytically prove the stability of the proposed learning-based controller for mechanical systems;and presents guaranteed uniform boundedness in finite-time between learning loops.The symmetric PD-type controller is also developed for the state-dependent differential Riccati equation(SDDRE)to manipulate the final time.The SDDRE expresses a differential equation with a final boundary condition,which imposes a constraint on time that could be used for finitetime control.So,the availability of PD-type finite-time control is an asset for enhancing the conventional classical linear controllers with this tool.The learning rules benefit from the gradient descent method for both regulation and tracking cases.One of the advantages of this approach is a guaranteed-stability even from the first loop of learning.A mechanical manipulator,as an illustrative example,was simulated for both regulation and tracking problems.Successful experimental validation was done to show the capability of the system in practice by the implementation of the proposed method on a variable-pitch rotor benchmark. | Saeed Rafee Nekoo JoséÁngel Acosta Guillermo Heredia Anibal Ollero | 2022 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,8: | 2 |

| 19 | Percutaneous drainage as a first therapeutic step prior to surgery in liver hydatid cyst abscess:Is it worth it?显示文摘AIM To delay surgery until the patient is in a better condition, and thus to decrease postoperative morbidity. METHODS Using this algorithm we treated three patients aged 55, 75 and 80 years. In all three patients the clinical presentation was fever without a clear source of infection; all had nonspecific symptoms such as general malaise, dyspnea, and abdominal discomfort in the previous 15 d. They came to the emergency room at our hospital due to deterioration of their general condition. Analytical tests showed leukocytosis, neutrophilia and increased polymerase chain reaction. In all cases an abdominal computed tomography(CT) was performed and liver hydatid abscess(LHA) was detected. The mean size of the LHA was 12 cm.RESULTS All patients underwent CT-guided percutaneous drainage. The purulent material obtained was cultured, and Klebsiella pneumoniae, Streptococcus viridans and Streptococcus salivarius were identified. Antibiotic treatment was given adapted to antibiotic sensitivity testing. Surgery was performed two weeks after admission, once the patient's condition had improved. All three patients underwent an almost total cystectomy, cholecystectomy and omentoplasty in the residual cavity. Complications were: Clavien Ⅰ(atelectasis and pleural effusion) and Clavien Ⅱ(transfusion). The average length of stay(pre and postoperative) was 23 d. At the follow-up, no relapses were recorded.CONCLUSION LHA management is not standardized. Emergency surgery offers suboptimal results. Percutaneous drainage plus antibiotics allows improving patient's general condition.
