| 1 | Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. | 3 | Multilocular Cystic Renal Cell Carcinoma:A Series of 8 Cases and Review of the Literature显示文摘OBJECTIVE To study the clinical,pathologic and imaging features of multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma(MCRCC)and to review the diagnosis and treatment of this subtype of renal cell carcinoma(RCC). METHODS The data from 8 cases(mean age,49.4;5 men and 3 women) who had been treated from 2004 to 2006,were reviewed retrospectively. Radiologic and pathologic documents were evaluated.For treatments,radi- cal nephrectomy was conducted in 4 patients,partial nephrectomy in 2 and laparoscopic nephrectomy in 2. RESULTS Postoperative pathological findings confirmed the diagnosis of MCRCC.The stage of al 8 cases was pT1.For pathologic grade,7 cases were G1 and 1 case was G2.Seven patients available for follow-up had sur- vived tumor-free during the mean time of 8 months. | 5 | Senegenin promotes in vitro proliferation of human neural progenitor cells显示文摘Senegenin,an effective component of Polygala tenuifolia root extract,promotes proliferation and differentiation of neural progenitor cells in the hippocampus.However,the effects of senegenin on mesencephalon-derived neural progenitor cells remain poorly understood.Cells from a ventral mesencephalon neural progenitor cell line(ReNcell VM) were utilized as models for pharmaceutical screening.The effects of various senegenin concentrations on cell proliferation were analyzed,demonstrating that high senegenin concentrations(5,10,50,and 100 μmo/L),particularly 50 μmol/L,significantly promoted proliferation of ReNcell VM cells.In the mitogen-activated protein kinase signal transduction pathway,senegenin significantly increased phosphorylation levels of extracellular signal-regulated kinases.Moreover,cell proliferation was suppressed by extracellular signal-regulated kinase inhibitors.Results suggested that senegenin contributed to in vitro proliferation of human neural progenitor cells by upregulating phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase. | Shi, Fang Liang, Zhigang Guo, Zixuan Li, Ran Yu, Fen Zhang, Zhanjun Wang, Xuan Wang, Xiaomin | 2011 | Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,3: | 5 |
| 6 | An Improved Kalman Filter Positioning Method in NLOS Environment显示文摘In the precision positioning system, NLOS(Non Line of Sight) propagation and clock synchronization error caused by multiple base stations are the main reasons for reducing the reliability of communication and positioning accuracy. So, in the NLOS environment, it has an important role to eliminate the clock synchronization problem in the positioning system. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an improved Kalman filter localization method NLOS-K(Non Line of Sight-Kalman filter). First, the maximum likelihood estimation algorithm is used to iterate. Then, the Kalman filter algorithm is implemented and the Kalman gain matrix is redefined. The clock drift is compensated so that the clock between the master and slave base stations remains synchronized. The experimental results show that in the non-lineof-sight environment, compared with other algorithms, the positioning accuracy error of the improved algorithm is about 5 cm, and the accuracy compared with other algorithms is 97%. | 8 | Efficient and high-fidelity base editor with expanded PAM compatibility for cytidine dinucleotide显示文摘Cytidine base editor(CBE),which is composed of a cytidine deaminase fused to Cas9 nickase,has been widely used to induce C-to-T conversions in a wide range of organisms.However,the targeting scope of current CBEs is largely restricted to protospacer adjacent motif(PAM)sequences containing G,T,or A bases.In this study,we developed a new base editor termed“nNme2-CBE”with excellent PAM compatibility for cytidine dinucleotide,significantly expanding the genome-targeting scope of CBEs.Using nNme2-CBE,targeted editing efficiencies of 29.0%-55.0%and 17.3%—52.5%were generated in human cells and rabbit embryos,respectively.In contrast to conventional nSp-CBE,the nNme2-CBE is a natural high-fidelity base editing platform with minimal DNA off-targeting detected in vivo.Significantly increased efficiency in GC context and precision were determined by combining nNme2Cas9 with rationally engineered cytidine deaminases.In addition,the Founder rabbits with accurate single-base substitutions at Fgf5 gene loci were successfully generated by using the nNme2-CBE system.These novel nNme2-CBEs with expanded PAM compatibility and high fidelity will expand the base editing toolset for efficient gene modification and therapeutic applications. | Zhiquan Liu Siyu Chen Yingqi Jia Huanhuan Shan Mao Chen Yuning Song Liangxue Lai Zhanjun Li | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,8: | 2 |
| 9 | Microstructures and Phase Transition in Omphacite: Constraints on the P-T Path of Shuanghe Eclogite (Dabie Orogen)显示文摘Omphacite microstructures are important to decipher the metamorphic pressuretemperature(P-T)conditions of eclogite during subduction and exhumation processes.Here we present a systematic microstructural investigation of omphacite using transmission electron microscopy(TEM)in an ultrahigh-pressure(UHP)eclogite sample from Shuanghe,Dabie orogen,China.The omphacite can be divided into two phases:(1)Omp-1,exhibits as the main part of omphacite with P2/n space group containing small amount of dislocations and numerous antiphase domains(APDs).(2)Omp-2,shows as banded subgrains with C2/c space group containing large amount of dislocations.These two phases of omphacite have almost the same crystallography orientation and bounded by dislocation walls.Along these dislocation walls,we found some barroisite and albite microcrystals.The barroisite microcrystals contain large amount of dislocations and show a topological relation with host omphacite.While the albite microcrystals contain small amount of dislocations and does not show topological relation with host.These microstructures could give us the following metamorphic information to constrain the P-T path of eclogite:Firstly,this two omphacite space groups should be evolved from the same precursor C2/c omphacite,which had been underwent strongly plastic deformation during the syn-to late-peak metamorphic stage.Secondly,the precursor C2/c omphacite began to be retrograded and altered by small amount of barroisite microcrystals along its dislocation walls under the P-T condition of 2.2–2.6 GPa and 650–700℃ at the early amphibole eclogite stage.Thirdly,large amount of Na and other elements were exsolved from some precursor C2/c omphacite subgrains and crystallized numerous albite microcrystals at their boundaries,which is the necessary for the space group of C2/c surviving under the lower P-T conditions(1.7–1.9 GPa and 630–690 C)during the middle amphibole eclogite stage.Lastly,the rest of precursor C2/c omphacite subgrains were transformed into P2/n polymorph and formed the APDs structures under the P-T condition of^1.5 GPa and 650–680℃ during the late amphibole eclogite stage. | Zhanjun Xie Xiangwen Liu Zhenmin Jin Zhuoyue Li | 2020 | Journal of Earth Science2020,31,2: | 2 |

| 18 | Effect of Addition Sequence during Neutralization and Precipitation on Iron-based Catalysts for High Temperature Shift Reaction显示文摘The preparation of the iron-based catalysts promoted by cobalt with a small amount of copper and aluminum for the high temperature shift reaction(HTS)with different sequences of adding catalyst raw materials during neutralization and precipitation was investigated.XRD,BET and particle size distribution(PSD)were used to characterize the prepared catalysts.It was found that the catalyst crystals were allγ-Fe 2 O3,and the intermediate of the catalyst after aging was Fe3O4.The crystallographic form of the catalyst and its intermediate was not affected by the addition sequence in the neutralization and precipitation process.The results showed that the specific surface area and the particle size of the catalysts depended on the addition sequence to the mother liquor.
