4Location of Triassic Tectonic Suture Between Collided Sino-Korean and Yangtze Cratons in Dabie-Sulu Region, China显示文摘The regional extent and spatial distribution of ultrahigh pressure metamorphic(UHPM) and high pressure metamorphic (HPM) rocks, and the geometrical relationships of various petrotectonic units in the Dabie-Sulu region indicate that the Triassic collisional suture line between the Sino-Korean and Yangtze cratons is situated at the northern margin of the Dabie massif, that is,along the Balifan-Mozitan-Xiaotian fault in the Dabie region, and possibly is linked to the Wulian-Yantai fault in the Sulu region to tbe east. 5Pb isotopic geochemical study on the crustal structure of Tongbaishan显示文摘Pb isotopic composition of the Tongbai complex, distributed in the Tongbaishan to the west of the Dabieshan, ranges between the Dabie core complex and the Dabie ultral-high pressure (UHP) metamorphic complex, the latter having more radiogenic Pb isotopic composition than the former. Granites from the Jigongshan pluton, which intruded mainly into the Tongbai complex, are distinct from the Tongbai complex but similar to the Dabie core complex in Pb isotopic composition, showing that the magma of the Jigongshan granites was derived from the partial melting of the Dabie core complex. According to Pb isotopic compositional variation model in the vertical crustal section and magma source from the Jigongshan pluton, it is suggested that the Tongbai complex was an upper rock serial of the Dabie core complex, which is beneath the Dabie UHP metamorphic complex in the crustal structure of the Tongbai-Dabie orogenic belt. The Tongbai complex was not well preserved in the Dabie area due to the high exhumed crustal section. However, the crustal section in the Tongbai area was exhumed less than that in the Dabie area, and the deep crust in the Tongbai area still contains the basement composition similar to the Dabie core complex. Therefore, the crustal basements from the Dabie to Tongbai areas are united. 6Factors associated with gastric adenocarcinoma and dysplasia in patients with chronic gastritis:a population-based study显示文摘Objective: Gastric cancer(GC) is one of the leading causes of death in China and other Asian countries.Recently, gastric endoscopy has become the main approach for GC screening, but the identification of high-risk individuals remains a challenge in GC screening programs.Methods: There were 7,302 patients with chronic gastritis involved in this study. Endoscopic examinations were performed, and their demographic characteristics and lifestyle data were collected. Each possible associated factor of GC/premalignant and precursor lesions was evaluated by univariate and multivariate logistic regressions.Nomograms were used for visualization of those models, and receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve analysis was used to present the predictive accuracy.Results: We detected 8(0.11%) gastric adenocarcinomas, 17(0.23%) dysplasia cases, 14(0.19%) hyperplasia cases, 52(0.71%) intestinal metaplasia cases, 217(2.97%) inflammatory lesions, 141(1.93%) gastric ulcers, 10(0.14%) atrophic gastritis cases, 1,365(18.69%) erosive gastritis cases, and 5,957(81.58%) superficial gastritis cases in 7,302 patients. The age(P<0.001), gender(P=0.086), labor intensity(P=0.018) and leek food intake(P=0.143)were identified as independent predictive factors of GC/premalignant lesions possibility. The corresponding nomogram exhibited an area under the curve(AUC) [95% confidence interval(95% CI)] of 0.82(0.74–0.89) for the modeling group and 0.80(0.75–0.85) for the validation group. The age(P=0.002), gender(P=0.024), smoking(P=0.002) and leek food intake(P=0.039) were independent predictive factors of precursor lesions possibility. 7Partial Melting Processes During Exhumation of Ultrahigh-Pressure Metamorphic Rocks in Dabieshan, China显示文摘Study practice has proved that the ultrahigh pressure metamorphic rocks iu Dabieshan must have exPerienced botk the retrograde metumorphism and partial melting under decompression and amphibolite-facies conditions during their exhumation from mantel depth to lower-middle crust.The retrometamorphism and partial melting of the ultrahigh pressure rocks in association with thermal state changing in the middle-lower crust, under amphibolite-facies conditions, are important physical and chemical processes. It would result in a great detrease in the integrated yield strength, and the enhancement of the de formabilitY or the rocks, promoting the transition from contractional (collision) to extensional defoemational regime. The statement of tbe retrometamorphism and partial melting of the ultrahigh pressure rocks has proved the in-site model for the ultrahigh pressure rocks in Dabieshan. It not only clarifies the evolutiou from the UHP eclogite to the surrounding gneissic rock (so called UHP gueiss) and to the garnet-beariug roliated granites (non-UHP country rocks), but also provides scientific arguments for the establiskment of the dynamic model of the exhumation of UHP metamorphic rocks in Dabiesban. In general, Purely conductive heat transfer from the crust itself is probably insurficient to produce temperature conditions for partial melting, and additional heat sources must have been present during partial melting. 8A Gradient-Based Optimization Method for the Design of Layered Phononic Band-Gap Materials显示文摘Phononic materials with specific band-gap characteristics at desired frequency ranges are in great demand for vibration and noise isolation, elastic wave filters, and acoustic devices.The attenuation coefficient curve depicts both the frequency range of band gap and the attenuation of elastic wave, where the frequency ranges corresponding to the none-zero attenuation coefficients are band gaps. Therefore, the band-gap characteristics can be achieved through maximizing the attenuation coefficient at the corresponding frequency or within the corresponding frequency range. Because the attenuation coefficient curve is not smooth in the frequency domain,the gradient-based optimization methods cannot be directly used in the design optimization of phononic band-gap materials to achieve the maximum attenuation within the desired frequency range. To overcome this difficulty, the objective of maximizing the attenuation coefficient is transformed into maximizing its Cosine, and in this way, the objective function is smoothed and becomes differentiable. Based on this objective function, a novel gradient-based optimization approach is proposed to open the band gap at a prescribed frequency range and to further maximize the attenuation efficiency of the elastic wave at a specific frequency or within a prescribed frequency range. 9The optimization model of the heat conduction structure显示文摘An optimization model considering a novel thermal performance index to be the objective function is proposed for minimizing the highest temperature in this paper.Firstly,the performance of the conventional heat conduction optimization model,with the dissipation of heat transport potential capacity as the objective function,is evaluated by a one-dimensional heat conduction problem in a planar plate exchanger.Then,a new thermal performance index,named the geometric average temperature,is introduced.The new heat con-duction optimization model,with the geometric average temperature as the objective function,is developed and the corresponding finite element formula is presented.The results show that the geometric average temperature is an ideal thermal performance index and the solution of the new model is close to the theoretical optimal solution.Yongcun Zhang Shutian Liu 2008Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2008,18,6:6
10A novel implementation algorithm of asymptotic homogenization for predicting the effective coefficient of thermal expansion of periodic composite materials显示文摘Asymptotic homogenization(AH) is a general method for predicting the effective coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE) of periodic composites. It has a rigorous mathematical foundation and can give an accurate solution if the macrostructure is large enough to comprise an infinite number of unit cells. In this paper, a novel implementation algorithm of asymptotic homogenization(NIAH) is developed to calculate the effective CTE of periodic composite materials. Compared with the previous implementation of AH, there are two obvious advantages. One is its implementation as simple as representative volume element(RVE).The new algorithm can be executed easily using commercial finite element analysis(FEA) software as a black box. The detailed process of the new implementation of AH has been provided. The other is that NIAH can simultaneously use more than one element type to discretize a unit cell, which can save much computational cost in predicting the CTE of a complex structure. 11Arbitrary focusing lens by holographic metasurface显示文摘In this paper, an ultrathin metalens has been proposed based on a holographic metasurface that consists of elongated apertures in 40 nm gold film, which exhibit intriguing properties such as on-and off-axis focusing and also can concentrate light into multiple, discrete spots for circularly polarized incident lights. First, the spatial transmission phase distributions of the designed metalens with arbitrary focusing can be obtained by computergenerated holography. Then, the discrete phase distributions can be continuously encoded by subwavelength nanoapertures with spatially varying orientations in gold film. The simulation results show that our designed metalens can work efficiently for different types of focusing. 12A Phytophthora capsid Effector Targets ACD11 Binding Partners that Regulate ROS-Mediated Defense Response in Arabidopsis显示文摘Reactive oxygen species (ROS) play a vital role in plant immune response, but the genes involved in the regulation of ROS are scantily reported. Phytophthora pathogens produce a large number of effectors to promote infection, but the modes of action adopted are largely unknown. Here, we report that RxLR207 could activate ROS-mediated cell death in Nicotiana benthamiana and was essential for virulence of P. capsici. We found that this effector targeted BPA1 (binding partner of ACD11) and four members of BPLs (BPAl-Like proteins)in Arabidopsis, and the bpa1 and bpl mutants had enhanced ROS accumulation and cell death under biotic or abiotic stresses. Furthermore, we showed that BPA1 and several BPLs functioned redundantly in plant immunity to P. capsici. We discovered that BPA1 and all six BPLs interacted with ACD11, and stabilization of ACD11 was impaired in the bpa 1, bpl2, bpl3, and bpl4 mutants. RxLR207 could promote the degradation of BPA1, BPL1, BPL2, and BPL4 to disrupt ACD11 stabilization in a 26S proteasome-dependent manner. 14Relic UHP Structures in Dabie-Sulu Region, China: Structural Expression and Geodynamic Significance显示文摘The present day observed tectonic framework of ultrahigh pressure (UHP) metamorphic belt in the Dabie Sulu region was dominantly formed by an extensional process at 200-170 Ma, under amphibolite facies conditions, following the Triassic collision between the Sino Korean and Yangtze cratons. UHP relic structures, including massive eclogites with a weak foliation, UHP shear zones and A type folds, that are preserved in less retrograde metamorphism and deformation overprinted eclogite lenses can be recognized using the tectonic analysis. Examples are drawn from the Chengmagang area and Hejiawan area, Hubei; Bixiling area, Anhui, and Donghai area, northern Jiangsu. A speculative kinematic model is proposed for the collision between the cratons based on the UHP relic structures studied, in combination with the data of petrography, geochronology and P T path of UHP metamorphic rocks in the studied region which were reported in literature. 15Structural Evidence for the in-situ Origin of the HP and UHP Eclogites in the Dabie-Sulu Orogenic Belt显示文摘Whether the HP and UHP metamorphic rocks of the Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt are of an 'in-situ' or 'foreign' origin is a long-standing dispute among geologists. Eclogites preserved today in the HP and UHP units constitute merely 5-10%, which are not isolated exotic bodies tectonically intruding into amphibolite facies gneiss, but remnants of once pervasive or widespread eclogite-facies terranes or slabs. The present spatial distribution and forms of the eclogites have resulted from polyphase and progressive deformation and strain partitioning of the HP and UHP slabs. From their formation in deep mantle to their exhumation to the surface, the eclogites have experienced long-term deformation with different strain regimes. The dominant regime responsible for the present spatial distribution and forms of the eclogites is the shear process. The deformation patterns of the eclogites and gneiss matrix also clearly show that the eclogites were metamorphosed in situ. 16Polyphase Deformation of the Weihai-Rongcheng UHP Unit Rocks,NE Sulu:Insights into the Tectonic Evolution of the Dabie-Sulu UHP and HP Belts,China显示文摘Different scales of structural data reveal a complex deformation history of ultrahigh- pressure (UHP) rocks exposed in the Weihai-Rongcheng area, NE Sulu (northern Jiangsu-eastern Shandong), eastern China. Excluding pre-UHP deformations, at least five major sequential deformational stages (D1–D5) are recognized. The first deformation (D1) produced a weak foliation and lineation in massive eclogites. The foliated eclogite with a dominant foliation containing a stretching and mineral lineation was developed during the D2 deformation. Both the D1 and D2 deformations occurred under UHP metamorphic conditions, and are well preserved in the eclogite bodies. D3 structures which developed shortly after the formation of granulite/amphibolite facies symplectites are characterized by imbricated associations marked by a regional, steeply dipping foliation, compositional layering, eclogite boudinage, isoclinal folds and reverse ductile shear zones. The D3 deformation was accompanied by decompressional partial melting. A regional, gently dipping amphibolite facies foliation and stretching lineation, low-angle detachments, and dome- and arc-shaped structures formed during the D4 deformation stage dominate to some degree the map pattern of the Weihai-Rongcheng UHP domain. The last stage of deformation (D5) gave rise to the final exhumation of the UHP rocks. D5 is characterized by development of brittle-dominated high-angle faulting associated with emplacement of large volumes of undeformed granite plutons and dykes dated at 134–100 Ma. The deformational and metamorphic sequence followed by the UHP rocks in the Weihai-Rongcheng area is similar to that studied in the entire Dabie-Sulu UHP and HP metamorphic belts from microscopic to mapping scale. 18Microglia-Derived NLRP3 Activation Mediates the Pressor Effect of Prorenin in the Rostral Ventrolateral Medulla of Stress-Induced Hypertensive Rats显示文摘Increased microglial activation and neuroinflammation within autonomic brain regions such as the rostral ventrolateral medulla(RVLM)have been implicated in stress-induced hypertension(SIH).Prorenin,a member of the brain renin-angiotensin system(RAS),can directly activate microglia.The present study aimed to investigate the effects of prorenin on microglial activation in the RVLM of SIH rats.Rats were subjected to intermittent electric foot-shocks plus noise,this stress was administered for 2 h twice daily for 15 consecutive days,and mean arterial pressure(MAP)and renal sympathetic nerve activity(RSNA)were monitored.The results showed that MAP and RSNA were augmented,and this paralleled increased pro-inflammatory phenotype(M1)switching.Prorenin and its receptor(PRR)expression and the NLR family pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3)activation were increased in RVLM of SIH rats.In addition,PLX5622(a microglial depletion agent),MCC950(a NLRP3 inhibitor),and/or PRO20(a(Pro)renin receptor antagonist)had antihypertensive effects in the rats.The NLRP3 expression in the RVLM was decreased in SIH rats treated with PLX5622.Mito-tracker staining showed translocation of NLRP3 from mitochondria to the cytoplasm in proreninstimulated microglia.Prorenin increased the ROS-triggering M1 phenotype-switching and NLRP3 activation,while MCC950 decreased the M1 polarization.In conclusion,upregulated prorenin in the RVLM may be involved in the pathogenesis of SIH,mediated by activation of the microglia-derived NLRP3 inflammasome.The link between prorenin and NLRP3 in microglia provides insights for the treatment of stress-related hypertension.Li Hu Shutian Zhang Kokwin Ooi Xuehai Wu Jiaxiang Wu Jian Cai Yinggang Sun Jijiang Wang Danian Zhu Fuxue Chen Chunmei Xia 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,5:3
19PbMC1a/1b regulates lignification during stone cell development in pear(Pyrus bretschneideri)fruit显示文摘Programmed cell death(PCD)and secondary cell wall(SCW)thickening in pear fruit are accompanied by the deposition of cellulose and lignin to form stone cells.Metacaspase is an important protease for development,tissue renewal and PCD.The understanding of the molecular mechanism whereby pear(Pyrus)metacaspase promotes PCD and cell wall lignification is still limited.In this study,the Metacaspases gene family(PbMCs)from P.bretschneideri was identified.PbMC1a/1b was associated with lignin deposition and stone cell formation by physiological data,semiquantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and quantitative RT-PCR(qRT-PCR).Relative to wildtype(WT)Arabidopsis,the overexpression of PbMC1a/1b increased lignin deposition and delayed growth,thickened the cell walls of vessels,xylary fibers and interfascicular fibers,and increased the expression of lignin biosynthetic genes.Yeast two-hybrid(Y2H),bimolecular fluorescence complementation(BiFC)and GST pull-down assays indicated that the PbMC1a/1b protein physically interacted with PbRD21.Simultaneously,the transient expression of PbMC1a/1b and PbRD21 led to significant changes in the expression of genes and lignin contents in pear fruits and flesh calli.These results indicate that PbMC1a/1b plays an important role in cell wall lignification,possibly by interacting with PbRD21 to increase the mRNA levels of some lignin synthesis-associated genes and promote the formation of stone cells in pear fruit.Xin Gong Zhihua Xie Kaijie Qi Liangyi Zhao Yazhou Yuan Jiahui Xu Weikang Rui Katsuhiro Shiratake Jianping Bao Shahrokh Khanizadeh Shaoling Zhang Shutian Tao 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:3
20Multimodal process monitoring based on transition-constrained Gaussian mixture model显示文摘Reliable process monitoring is important for ensuring process safety and product quality.A production process is generally characterized bymultiple operation modes,and monitoring thesemultimodal processes is challenging.Most multimodal monitoring methods rely on the assumption that the modes are independent of each other,which may not be appropriate for practical application.This study proposes a transition-constrained Gaussian mixture model method for efficient multimodal process monitoring.This technique can reduce falsely and frequently occurring mode transitions by considering the time series information in the mode identification of historical and online data.This process enables the identified modes to reflect the stability of actual working conditions,improve mode identification accuracy,and enhance monitoring reliability in cases of mode overlap.Case studies on a numerical simulation example and simulation of the penicillin fermentation process are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach inmultimodal process monitoring with mode overlap.Shutian Chen Qingchao Jiang Xuefeng Yan 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,12:3
