1Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. 2New yellow Ba_(0.93)Eu_(0.07)Al_(2)O_(4) phosphor for warm-white light-emitting diodes through single-emitting-center conversion显示文摘Phosphor-converted white light-emitting diodes for indoor illumination need to be warm-white(i.e.,correlated color temperature,4000 K)with good color rendition(i.e.,color rendering index.80).However,no single-phosphor,single-emitting-center-converted white light-emitting diodes can simultaneously satisfy the color temperature and rendition requirements due to the lack of sufficient red spectral component in the phosphors’emission spectrum.Here,we report a new yellow Ba_(0.93)Eu_(0.07)Al_(2)O_(4) phosphor that has a new orthorhombic lattice structure and exhibits a broad yellow photoluminescence band with sufficient red spectral component.Warm-white emissions with correlated color temperature,4000 K and color rendering index.80 were readily achieved when combining the Ba_(0.93)Eu_(0.07)Al_(2)O_(4) phosphor with a blue light-emitting diode(440–470 nm).This study demonstrates that warm-white light-emitting diodes with high color rendition(i.e.,color rendering index.80)can be achieved based on single-phosphor,single-emitting-center conversion.Xufan Li John D Budai Feng Liu Jane Y Howe Jiahua Zhang Xiao-Jun Wang Zhanjun Gu Chengjun Sun Richard S Meltzer Zhengwei Pan 2013Light(Science & Applications)2013,2,1:11

4Multilocular Cystic Renal Cell Carcinoma:A Series of 8 Cases and Review of the Literature显示文摘OBJECTIVE To study the clinical,pathologic and imaging features of multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma(MCRCC)and to review the diagnosis and treatment of this subtype of renal cell carcinoma(RCC). METHODS The data from 8 cases(mean age,49.4;5 men and 3 women) who had been treated from 2004 to 2006,were reviewed retrospectively. Radiologic and pathologic documents were evaluated.For treatments,radi- cal nephrectomy was conducted in 4 patients,partial nephrectomy in 2 and laparoscopic nephrectomy in 2. RESULTS Postoperative pathological findings confirmed the diagnosis of MCRCC.The stage of al 8 cases was pT1.For pathologic grade,7 cases were G1 and 1 case was G2.Seven patients available for follow-up had sur- vived tumor-free during the mean time of 8 months. 7Analysis of a reduced-ML algorithm in BLAST显示文摘The performance of ML algorithm is much better than other algorithms in the MIMO wireless communication system. However, it is based on the expense of an increase in the complexity. A reduced maximum likelihood (RML) algorithm is proposed in this paper, which derives from the combination of the ML and ZF algorithms. 10Senegenin promotes in vitro proliferation of human neural progenitor cells显示文摘Senegenin,an effective component of Polygala tenuifolia root extract,promotes proliferation and differentiation of neural progenitor cells in the hippocampus.However,the effects of senegenin on mesencephalon-derived neural progenitor cells remain poorly understood.Cells from a ventral mesencephalon neural progenitor cell line(ReNcell VM) were utilized as models for pharmaceutical screening.The effects of various senegenin concentrations on cell proliferation were analyzed,demonstrating that high senegenin concentrations(5,10,50,and 100 μmo/L),particularly 50 μmol/L,significantly promoted proliferation of ReNcell VM cells.In the mitogen-activated protein kinase signal transduction pathway,senegenin significantly increased phosphorylation levels of extracellular signal-regulated kinases.Moreover,cell proliferation was suppressed by extracellular signal-regulated kinase inhibitors.Results suggested that senegenin contributed to in vitro proliferation of human neural progenitor cells by upregulating phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase.Shi, Fang Liang, Zhigang Guo, Zixuan Li, Ran Yu, Fen Zhang, Zhanjun Wang, Xuan Wang, Xiaomin 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,3:5
11Numerical investigation on synthetic jet flow control inside an S-inlet duct显示文摘The high degree of centerline curvature and cross-stream pressure gradient in S-inlet ducts gives rise to boundary layer separation and secondary flows,which result in poor pressure recovery and non-uniform flow in the outlet interface with the engine.The flowfield in ducts is three-dimensional due to the existence of secondary flow,so ordinary two-dimensional actuations have poor effect on reforming the flow.Synthetic jet actuations extended in different spanwise positions were employed to manipulate the flow,and compared with the two-dimensional actuation.The interaction mechanics between flow separation and secondary flow was studied at first.It was found that the secondary flow enhanced or weakened flow separation depending on the spanwise position of synthetic jet actuators.Moreover,the flow separation enhanced the secondary flow,thus causing lower pressure recovery and flow distortion in the duct outlet.The actuators located at different spanwise positions will weaken the secondary flows by improving the flow separation to get energetic and uniform main flow.CHEN ZhanJun WANG JinJun 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,9:5
12An Improved Kalman Filter Positioning Method in NLOS Environment显示文摘In the precision positioning system, NLOS(Non Line of Sight) propagation and clock synchronization error caused by multiple base stations are the main reasons for reducing the reliability of communication and positioning accuracy. So, in the NLOS environment, it has an important role to eliminate the clock synchronization problem in the positioning system. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an improved Kalman filter localization method NLOS-K(Non Line of Sight-Kalman filter). First, the maximum likelihood estimation algorithm is used to iterate. Then, the Kalman filter algorithm is implemented and the Kalman gain matrix is redefined. The clock drift is compensated so that the clock between the master and slave base stations remains synchronized. The experimental results show that in the non-lineof-sight environment, compared with other algorithms, the positioning accuracy error of the improved algorithm is about 5 cm, and the accuracy compared with other algorithms is 97%. 14Multilevel Feature Moving Average Ratio Method for Fault Diagnosis of the Microgrid Inverter Switch显示文摘Multilevel feature moving average ratio method is proposed to realize an open-switch fault diagnosis for any switch of the microgrid inverter. The main steps of the proposed method include multilevel signal decomposition, coefficient reconstruction, absolute average ratio process and artificial neural network(ANN) classification. Specifically, multilevel signal decomposition is realized by using the means of multi resolution analysis to obtain the different frequency band coefficients of the three-phase current signal. The related coefficient reconstruction is executed to achieve signals decomposition in different levels. Furthermore,according to the obtained data, the absolute average ratio process is used to extract absolute moving average ratio of signal decomposition in different levels for the three-phase current.Finally, to intelligently classify the inverter switch fault and realize the adaptive ability, the ANN technology is applied.Compared to conventional fault diagnosis methods, the proposed method can accurately detect and locate the open-switch fault for any location of the microgrid inverter. Additionally, it need not set related threshold of algorithm and does not require normalization process, which is relatively easy to implement. 15The influence of different underlying surface on sand-duststorm in northern China显示文摘In thispaper,a quantitative research on the relationship between differentunderlying surface and sand-duststorm has been made by using 40 years meteorologicaldata offive differenttypes of underlying surface in northern China,which include farmland,grassland,sandland,gobiand saltcrust. These metrologicaldata comprise sand-duststorm days and strong wind days.By analyzing,we can find that there are certain correlations between the days of sand-dust storm and strong wind for differentunderlying surface,which has greatinfluence on sand-duststorm.Butthere are pronounced differences in differenttypes ofunderlying surface.The sand-duststorm days ofgrassland,gobiand saltcrust,with smallerinterannualvariation are obviously less than strong wind days.On the other hand,the sand-duststorm days offarmland and sandland increase evidently,even in many years,are much more than strong wind days.The differencesare mainly induced by the influencing mechanism of different underlying surface on sand-dust storm. Grassland, gobi and salt crust with stable underlying surface are not prone to sand-dust storm under strong wind condition. 16New Activated Carbon with High Thermal Conductivity and Its Microwave Regeneration Performance显示文摘Using a walnut shellas a carbon source and ZnCl_2 as an activating agent,we resolved the temperature gradient problems of activated carbon in the microwave desorption process.An appropriate amount of silicon carbide was added to prepare the composite activated carbon with high thermalconductivity while developing VOC adsorption-microwave regeneration technology.The experimentalresults show that the coefficient of thermalconductivity of SiC-AC is three times as much as those of AC and SY-6.When microwave power was 480 W in its microwave desorption,the temperature of the bed thermaldesorption was 10 ℃ to 30 ℃ below that of normalactivated carbon prepared in our laboratory.The toluene desorption activation energy was 16.05 k J·mol^(-1),which was 15% less than the desorption activation energy of commercialactivated carbon.This study testified that the process could maintain its high adsorption and regeneration desorption performances.谷雪贤 SU Zhanjun 奚红霞 2016Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,2:4

18Preparation of genuine Yeo-Chua entangled state and teleportation of two-atom state via cavity QED显示文摘We first propose a scheme for preparing the genuine Yeo-Chua 4-qubit entangled state via cavity QED. Using the genuine Yeo-Chua atomic state, we further propose a cavity QED scheme for teleporting an arbitrary two-atom state. In two schemes the large-detuning is chosen and the necessary time is designed to be much shorter than Rydberg-atom’s lifespan. Both schemes share the distinct advantage that cavity decay and atom decay can be neglected. As for the interaction manipulation, our preparation scheme is more feasible than a recent similar one. 19Toxicity of manufactured nanomaterials显示文摘Manufactured nanomaterials with unique properties have been extensively applied in various indus-trial,agricultural or medical fields.However,some of the properties have been identified to be closely related to nanomaterial toxicity.The'nano-paradox'has aroused concerns over the use and develop-ment of nanotechnology,which makes it difficult for regulatory agencies to regulate nanomaterials.The key to fulfilling proper nanomaterial regulation lies in the adequate understanding of the impact of nanomaterial properties on nano-bio interactions.To this end,we start the present work with a brief intro-duction to nano-bio interactions at different levels.Based on that,how key toxicity-associated properties of manufactured nanomaterials(i.e.,size,shape,chemical composition,surface properties,biocorona formation,agglomeration and/or aggregation state,and biodegradability)impact their toxicokinetics,cel-lular uptake,trafficking and responses,and toxicity mechanisms is deeply explored.Moreover,advanced analytical methods for studying nano-bio interactions are introduced.Furthermore,the current reg-ulatory and legislative frameworks for nanomaterial-containing products in different regions and/or countries are presented.Finally,we propose several challenges facing the nanotoxicology field and their possible solutions to shed light on the safety evaluation of nanomaterials.Yaping Liu Shuang Zhu Zhanjun Gu Chunying Chen Yuliang Zhao 2022Particuology2022,20,10:3
20Near infrared light triggered nitric oxide releasing platform based on upconversion nanoparticles for synergistic therapy of cancer stem-like cells显示文摘Near infrared(NIR) light-driven nitric oxide(NO) release nano-platform based on upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs) and light sensitive NO precursor Roussin's black salt(RBS) was fabricated to generate NO upon 808 nm irradiation. The application of 808 nm laser as the excitation source could achieve better penetration depth and avoid overheating problem. The combination of UCNPs and RBS could realize the on-demand release of NO at desired time and location by simply controlling the output of NIR laser.Cellular uptake results showed that more nanoparticles were internalized in cancer stem-like cells(CSCs)rather than non-CSCs. Therefore, a synergistic cancer therapy strategy to eradicate both CSCs and nonCSCs simultaneously was developed. Traditional chemo-drug could inhibit non-CSCs but has low killing efficiency in CSCs. However, we found that the combination of NO and chemotherapy could efficiently inhibit CSCs in bulk cells, including inhibiting mammosphere formation ability, decreasing CD44^+/CD24^- subpopulation and reducing tumorigenic ability. The mechanism studies confirmed that NO could not only induce apoptosis but also increase drug sensitivity by declining drug efflux in CSCs.
