2Development of microsatellite markers and their utilization in genetic diversity analysis of cultivated and wild populations of the mud carp (Cirrhina molitorella)显示文摘Microsatellite markers have been increasingly used in genetic studies on fishery species because of their high applicability in selective breeding programs. Here we reported the development of microsatellite markers and their utilization in mud carp (Cirrhina molitorella). An (CA)15 enriched library has been constructed for mud carp, using the magnetic beads enrichment procedure. Sequence analysis of 60 randomly picked positive colonies indicate that 56 (93.3%) of the colonies contain microsatellites. Microsatellite polymorphism was as-sessed using 10 mud carp individuals, and 12 microsatellite loci turned out to be polymorphic. We utilized these loci to study the genetic diversity of a wild population (WM) and a cultured population (CM) of the mud carp. A total of 109 alleles were detected with an average of 9.08 alleles per locus. The mean value of the observed heterozygosity of WM and CM was 0.6361 and 0.6417, respectively, and sig-nificant decrease of genetic diversity in CM was not observed. The genetic distance between the two populations was 0.1546 and the value of GST was 0.0473. 3Improving the lubrication and anti-corrosion performance of polyurea grease via ingredient optimization显示文摘Thickener formulation plays a significant role in the performance characteristics of grease.The polyurea greases(PUGs)were synthesized using mineral oil(500SN)as the base oil,and by regulating the reaction of diphenylmethane diisocyanate(MDI)and different organic amines.The as‐prepared PUGs from the reaction of MDI and cyclohexylamine/p‐toluidine exhibit the optimum physicochemical and friction‐wear properties,confirming that the regulation of thickener formulation can improve the performance characteristics of grease,including friction reduction,wear,corrosion resistance,and load‐carrying capacity.The anticorrosion and lubrication properties of as‐prepared PUGs depend on good sealing functions and a boundary lubrication film(synergy of grease‐film and tribo‐chemical reaction film),as well as their chemical components and structure.Guanlin REN Xiaowen SUN Wen LI Hao LI Lin ZHANG Xiaoqiang FAN Dongshan LI Minhao ZHU 2021Friction2021,9,5:4
4Comparison of Clinical and Epidemiological Characteristics of Asymptomatic and Symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Children显示文摘To understand the epidemiological and clinical features of the symptomatic and asymptomatic pediatric cases of COVID-19,we carried out a prospective study in Shanghai during the period of January 19 to April 30,2020.A total of 49 children(mean age 11.5±5.12 years)confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 infection were enrolled in the study,including 11(22.4%)domestic cases and 38(77.6%)imported cases.Nine(81.8%)local cases and 12(31.6%)imported cases had a definitive epidemiological exposure.Twenty-eight(57.1%)were symptomatic and 21(42.9%)were asymptomatic.Neither asymptomatic nor symptomatic cases progressed to severe diseases.The mean duration of viral shedding for SARS-CoV-2 in upper respiratory tract was 14.1±6.4 days in asymptomatic cases and 14.8±8.4 days in symptomatic cases(P>0.05).Forty-five(91.8%)cases had viral RNA detected in stool.The mean duration of viral shedding in stool was 28.1±13.3 days in asymptomatic cases and 30.8±18.6 days in symptomatic participants(P>0.05).Children<7 years shed viral RNA in stool for a longer duration than school-aged children(P<0.05).Forty-three(87.8%)cases had seropositivity for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 within 1–3 weeks after confirmation with infection.In conclusion,asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection may be common in children in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic wave.Asymptomatic cases shed viral RNA in a similar pattern as symptomatic cases do.It is of particular concern that asymptomatic individuals are potentially seed transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and pose a challenge to disease control.Jiehao Cai Xiangshi Wang Jun Zhao Yanling Ge Jin Xu He Tian Hailing Chang Aimei Xia Jiali Wang Jinqiang Zhang Zhongqiu Wei Jingjing Li Chuning Wang Jianshe Wang Qirong Zhu Xiaowen Zhai Mei Zeng 2020Virologica Sinica2020,35,6:4
5Structure and Corrosion Resistance of Microarc Oxidation Coatings on AZ91D Magnesium Alloy显示文摘Magnesium alloys are widely used as shells of 3C (computer, mobile phone and consumer electronics) equipments for its impressive mechanical and physical properties, such as low density, good resistance to electromagnetic radiation, suitable for high pressure diecasting and easily recycling, etc. But poor corrosion resistance confines its extensively application. In this paper, protective coatings was successfully prepared on AZ91D magnesium alloys by micro-arc oxidation (MAO) and painting process. Microstructures and phases of MAO coatings were invesgated with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-Ray diffractometer. Mechanical properties of MAO coating, such as adhesive force and corrosion resistance, were also tested. Results showed that MAO coatings were a good base for painting process. MAO coatings with paint have good adhesive properties to base metal and excellent corrosion resistance. 6Tocilizumab in patients with moderate or severe COVID-19: a randomized, controlled, open-label, multicenter trial显示文摘Tocilizumab has been reported to attenuate the“cytokine storm”in COVID-19 patients.We attempted to verify the effectiveness and safety of tocilizumab therapy in COVID-19 and identify patients most likely to benefit from this treatment.We conducted a randomized,controlled,open-label multicenter trial among COVID-19 patients.The patients were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive either tocilizumab in addition to standard care or standard care alone.The cure rate,changes of oxygen saturation and interference,and inflammation biomarkers were observed.Thirty-three patients were randomized to the tocilizumab group,and 32 patients to the control group.The cure rate in the tocilizumab group was higher than that in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(94.12%vs.87.10%,rate difference 95%CI−7.19%–21.23%,P=0.4133).The improvement in hypoxia for the tocilizumab group was higher from day 4 onward and statistically significant from day 12(P=0.0359).In moderate disease patients with bilateral pulmonary lesions,the hypoxia ameliorated earlier after tocilizumab treatment,and less patients(1/12,8.33%)needed an increase of inhaled oxygen concentration compared with the controls(4/6,66.67%;rate difference 95%CI−99.17%to−17.50%,P=0.0217).No severe adverse events occurred.More mild temporary adverse events were recorded in tocilizumab recipients(20/34,58.82%)than the controls(4/31,12.90%).Tocilizumab can improve hypoxia without unacceptable side effect profile and significant influences on the time virus load becomes negative.For patients with bilateral pulmonary lesions and elevated IL-6 levels,tocilizumab could be recommended to improve outcome.Dongsheng Wang Binqing Fu Zhen Peng Dongliang Yang Mingfeng Han Min Li Yun Yang Tianjun Yang Liangye Sun Wei Li Wei Shi Xin Yao Yan Ma Fei Xu Xiaojing Wang Jun Chen Daqing Xia Yubei Sun Lin Dong Jumei Wang Xiaoyu Zhu Min Zhang Yonggang Zhou Aijun Pan Xiaowen Hu Xiaodong Mei Haiming Wei Xiaoling Xu 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,3:2

9Wind Tunnel Experiments and Numerical Study on Performance Characteristics of an H-type Vertical Axis Wind Turbine in the Spanwise Direction显示文摘The aerodynamic forces and vortex characteristics of an H-type Vertical Axis Wind Turbine(VAWT)become complicated because of dynamic stall,particularly in the three-dimensional impact on the blade spanwise direction.This study focused on the evaluation of the aerodynamic performance and vortex characteristics of an H-type VAWT in the spanwise direction by numerical simulations and wind tunnel experiments.Pressure acting on the blade surface was obtained from multiport pressure measurement devices by wind tunnel.Meanwhile,the vortex field around different blade sections was investigated through numerical simulations.The stall behavior was analysed by comparing the results of numerical simulations and experiments.As a result,the tangential force of single blade was mainly contributed at the chordwise position of x/c≤0.4 c and the power of single blade was mainly contributed at the azimuthal angle range of 60°≤θ≤150°in the blade section position region of 0≤z/(H/2)≤0.7.At the section position of z/(H/2)=0.5,the initial flow separation was found at the suction side and progressed forward to the leading edge.With the increase of the tip speed ratios,the decreasing position of the averaged local power coefficient of each section was closer to the middle section of z/(H/2)=0,and the attenuation speed became faster.The power coefficient reductions at the blade section position of z/(H/2)=0.9 were 38.29%,46.78%and 56.42%when the tip speed ratios were 1.38,2.19 and 2.58,respectively.The results of this study provided a better understanding of the development of the performance characteristics and vortex characteristics of H-type VAWT.ZHANG Yanfeng LI Qing’an ZHU Xinyu SONG Xiaowen CAI Chang GUO Zhiping 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,3:2

12Joint load balancing and interference coordination in multi-antenna heterogeneous networks显示文摘In heterogeneous networks(Het Nets), it is desirable to offload users from macro cells to small cells to achieve load balancing. However, the offloaded users suffer a strong inter-tier interference. To guarantee the performance of the offloaded users, the interference from macro cells should be carefully managed. In this paper, we jointly optimize load balancing and interference coordination in multi-antenna Het Nets. Different from previous works, instead of almost blank subframes(ABS) on which the macro cells waste time resource, the macro cells suppress the interference to the offloaded users by zero-forcing beamforming(ZFBF) on interference nulling subframes(INS). Considering user association cannot be conduct frequently, we derive the long-term throughput of users over Rayleigh fading channels while previous works focused on instantaneous rate. From the perspective of the spectrum efficiency and user fairness, we formulate a long-term network-wide utility maximization problem. By decomposing the problem into two subproblems, we propose an efficient joint load balancing and interference coordination strategy. 14Alteration of encephalomyocarditis virus pathogenicity due to a mutation at position 100 of VP1显示文摘Encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV) infection leads to many diseases including encephalitis,myocarditis and diabetes in its natural host,the mouse.In this study,we generated four cDNA clones with a point mutation at position 100 of VP1.The amino acids isoleucine,alanine,serine and proline were substituted with threonine in the four different clones of EMCV strain BJC3 by site-specific mutagenesis,and viable viruses were rescued.Although all mutants and wild-type viruses display different plaque morphologies,they replicate comparably in BHK-21 cells.The pathogenicity of the mutated viruses was systematically analyzed to investigate the importance of this amino acid in the viral pathogenicity and disease phenotype of EMCV infection in mice.The results showed that the isoleucine(T1100I) and proline-mutated viruses (T1100P) exhibited a reduced mortality,lower cerebral virus loads and alleviated brain damage while the viruses with serine (T1100S) and alanine (T1100A) substitutions displayed similar properties as the wild-type virus.These findings indicate that the amino acid at position 100 of VP1 is important for EMCV in vivo infection,and its mutation alters the pathogenicity of viral infection in mice.ZHU Shu GE XinNa GONG XiaoWen GUO Xin CHEN YanHong YANG HanChun 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,6:2
