2Fabrication of bulk Al-Co-Cr-Fe-Ni high-entropy alloy using combined cable wire arc additive manufacturing(CCW-AAM):Microstructure and mechanical properties显示文摘Additive manufacturing is a very promising manufacturing method widely used in various industries.In this study,for the first time,a new type of combined cable wire(CCW)with multi-element composition has been designed and developed for arc additive manufacturing(AAM)of non-equiatomic Al-Co-Cr-FeNi high-entropy alloy.CCW composed of 7 filaments and 5 elements has the advantages of high deposition efficiency,self-rotation of welding arc and energy saving capability.Thin HEA walls were fabricated under pure argon gas using cold metal transfer technology.Microstructural observations of the developed HEA reveal(i)BCC and FCC phases,(ii)Good bonding between layers and(iii)defect-free microstructure.The developed alloy exhibits high compression strength(~2.8 GPa)coupled with high plastic strain(~42%)values(possess both strength and ductility).It has been identified that by varying the heat input via torch travel speed,the microstructure and mechanical properties of the HEA can be controlled.From this feasibility study,it has been proved that the innovative CCW method can be used to manufacture HEAs with CCW-AAM.Further,the study highlights the advantage of the rapid cooling involved in the CCW-AAM process which gives rise to superior mechanical properties.Qingkai Shen Xiangdong Kong Xizhang Chen 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,15:10

4Comparisons of passive microwave remote sensing sea ice concentrations with ship-based visual observations during the CHINARE Arctic summer cruises of 2010–2018显示文摘In order to apply satellite data to guiding navigation in the Arctic more effectively,the sea ice concentrations(SIC)derived from passive microwave(PM)products were compared with ship-based visual observations(OBS)collected during the Chinese National Arctic Research Expeditions(CHINARE).A total of 3667 observations were collected in the Arctic summers of 2010,2012,2014,2016,and 2018.PM SIC were derived from the NASA-Team(NT),Bootstrap(BT)and Climate Data Record(CDR)algorithms based on the SSMIS sensor,as well as the BT,enhanced NASA-Team(NT2)and ARTIST Sea Ice(ASI)algorithms based on AMSR-E/AMSR-2 sensors.The daily arithmetic average of PM SIC values and the daily weighted average of OBS SIC values were used for the comparisons.The correlation coefficients(CC),biases and root mean square deviations(RMSD)between PM SIC and OBS SIC were compared in terms of the overall trend,and under mild/normal/severe ice conditions.Using the OBS data,the influences of floe size and ice thickness on the SIC retrieval of different PM products were evaluated by calculating the daily weighted average of floe size code and ice thickness.Our results show that CC values range from 0.89(AMSR-E/AMSR-2 NT2)to 0.95(SSMIS NT),biases range from−3.96%(SSMIS NT)to 12.05%(AMSR-E/AMSR-2 NT2),and RMSD values range from 10.81%(SSMIS NT)to 20.15%(AMSR-E/AMSR-2 NT2).Floe size has a significant influence on the SIC retrievals of the PM products,and most of the PM products tend to underestimate SIC under smaller floe size conditions and overestimate SIC under larger floe size conditions.Ice thickness thicker than 30 cm does not have a significant influence on the SIC retrieval of PM products.Overall,the best(worst)agreement occurs between OBS SIC and SSMIS NT(AMSR-E/AMSR-2 NT2)SIC in the Arctic summer.Yuanren Xiu Zhijun Li Ruibo Lei Qingkai Wang Peng Lu Matti Leppäranta 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,9:6
5Mesoscale simulation of discontinuous dynamic recrystallization using the cellular automaton method显示文摘A dynamic recrystallization (DRX) cellular automaton (CA) model that can mark the microstructure with DRX circle was developed. The effects of initial grain size on the stress-strain curve, mean grain size and DRX fraction were mainly investigated, and the simulated results were compared with those obtained from previous researches. The results show that the shape of the stress-strain curve is sensitive, while the stress and mean grain size at the steady state are insensitive to the initial grain size. 6A dynamic modeling approach for nonlinear vibration analysis of the L-type pipeline system with clamps显示文摘There exists a lot of research on the nonlinear vibration of the pipeline system with different boundary conditions.To the best of our knowledge,little research on the actual constraint of the clamp has been performed.In this paper,according to hysteresis loops of the clamp obtained from experimental test,the simplified bilinear stiffness and damping model is proposed.Then the Finite Element(FE)model of L-type pipeline system with clamps is established using Timoshenko beam theory in combination with aforementioned stiffness-damping model.Both hammering and shaker tests verify the FE model via the comparisons of natural frequencies and vibration responses.The results show that the maximum errors of natural frequencies and vibration responses are about 8.31%and 17.6%,respectively.The proposed model can simulate the dynamic characteristics of the L-type pipeline system with clamps well,which is helpful to provide some guidance for the early design stage of pipeline in aero-engine.Qingdong CHAI Jin ZENG Hui MA Kun LI Qingkai HAN 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,12:6
7Compressed sensing digital receiver and orthogonal reconstructing algorithm for wideband ISAR radar显示文摘This paper proposes a novel design of intermediate frequency(IF) digital receiver for wideband inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR) based on compressed sensing(CS). For the convenience in engineering application, we use random sampling in the digital receiver and make it possible to digitize the wideband IF signal using a commercial off-the-shelf analog-to-digital converter with sub-Nyquist sample rate. Besides, a novel basis for the sparse representation of real-valued ISAR radar echoes is built in this paper, and an orthogonal CS reconstructing algorithm is proposed based on this. Using our proposed method, the complex-valued range profile of target can be directly reconstructed from the subsampled real raw echo. The phase information of target range profile, which is very important for the coherent processing in ISAR imaging, is well reserved during the reconstruction. As a result, the down converter and matched filter, which are essential in conventional radar receiver, can be eliminated in our CS digital receiver. A series of simulation validates our design and demonstrates the feasibility of the sub-Nyquist sampling. 10Molecular characterization of RAPD and SCAR marker linked to the frog-eye leaf spot resistance gene in soybean显示文摘Two fragments SCS362o and SCS3580 of the co-dominant marker OPS0362o&580 that were linked to the resistance gene of soybean frog-eye leaf spot have been completely sequenced. A significant insertion of 30 bp is the main reason of the polymorphism between the two fragments. The results of Southern hybridization indicate that SCS362o derives from a single- or low-copy sequence and can be used as an RFLP probe. A co-dominant SCAR marker SCSSeao&sao has been developed based on the sequences. The segregation of SCS362o&58o is similar to that of RAPD marker OPS03620&580. Significant polymorphism has been shown between resistant and susceptible genotypes when 62 soybean genotypes were surveyed for the SCAR marker. 11STUDIES ON STRUCTURAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES UNDER ISOSTATIC COMPRESSION WITH LARGE-SCALE DISCRETE ELEMENT SIMULATIONS显示文摘Granular systems undergo a jamming transition at point J simply by increasing the packing fraction. A large-scale parallel discrete element code(THDEM: TsingHua Discrete Element Method) was used to obtain a satisfying statistical description of the structural and mechanical properties near point J. The isostatic compressions of 100,000 polydispersed frictionless particles were simulated on high performance computers to clearly observe the sophisticated configurations of force chains. The first peak of the pair correlation function, coordination number, spatial distribution of the packing fraction, and stress were calculated to analyze their variations with increasing packing fraction. The critical packing fraction at point J is determined to be 0.62. The incremental stress and coordination number from point J scale well with the power law, and coincide with previous theoretical predications. The distribution of the packing fraction is a normal distribution around the average value. 12System distortion analysis and compensation of DIFS signals for wideband imaging radar显示文摘System distortion is inevitable in wideband imaging radar, which needs to be compensated precisely.In traditional wideband imaging radar for space surveillance, a linear frequency modulation signal is transmitted and the echoed signal is received with dechirping processing. In this case, the system distortion changes with the target range, making it hard to compensate the distortion. However, the direct intermediate frequency sampling(DIFS) signal maintains the complete system distortion and avoids the range variant distortion in the dechirped signal. Therefore, it is more convenient to perform system compensation in DIFS signal. In this paper, the distortion factors affecting the wideband radar systems are introduced. Then, the influence of the amplitude phase distortion on the focusing quality is analyzed in detail. Finally, a system compensation method in the frequency domain based on least squares estimation is proposed. In the proposed method, the compensation vectors are extracted from the calibration tower echoes for DIFS compensation. Inverse synthetic aperture radar imagery of targets can be achieved with improved focus quality. 16Sea ice conditions and navigability through the Northeast Passage in the past 40 years based on remote-sensing data显示文摘Sea ice conditions and navigability along four typical routes of the Northeast Passage(NEP)are analysed using remote-sensing data from 1979 to 2019.The influence of air temperature(T_(air))and surface wind on the sea ice concentration(SIC)and the navigability of routes is determined.It is found that the annually averaged SICs of the different routes have decreased over the past 41 years.The fastest rate of decrease occurred in the Kara Sea(∼−1%per year),while the slowest rates of decrease occurred in the Laptev/East Siberian Sea(∼−0.42%per year).The number of navigable days for the Kara Sea has become∼1–2 months longer than the Laptev/East Siberian Sea route as a result.The effect of T_(air) on SIC,quantified byΔSIC/ΔT_(air) in the routes through the eastern Kara Sea and Laptev/East Siberian Sea in 2010s was∼−0.04/℃,two to three times that seen during the 1980s.Air temperature is becoming a significant driving force of melting ice in these routes.Surface winds are also a crucial factor for the navigability of the Vilkitsky Strait and Long Strait,as they drive ice drift,and affect the navigability of the Kara Strait by introducing warm air.Miao Yu Peng Lu Zhiyuan Li Zhijun Li Qingkai Wang Xiaowei Cao Xiaodong Chen 2021International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,5:3

18Distributed tracking for networked Euler-Lagrange systems without velocity measurements显示文摘The problem of distributed coordinated tracking control for networked Euler-Lagrange systems without velocity measurements is investigated. Under the condition that only a portion of the followers have access to the leader, sliding mode estimators are developed to estimate the states of the dynamic leader in finite time. To cope with the absence of velocity measurements,the distributed observers which only use position information are designed. Based on the outputs of the estimators and observers,distributed tracking control laws are proposed such that all the followers with parameter uncertainties can track the dynamic leader under a directed graph containing a spanning tree. It is shown that the distributed observer-controller guarantees asymptotical stability of the closed-loop system. 20Achievement of chaotic synchronization trajectories of master-slave manipulators with feedback control strategy显示文摘This paper addresses a master-slave synchronization strategy for complex dynamic systems based on feedback control.This strategy is applied to 3-DOF planar manipulators in order to obtain synchronization in such complicated as chaotic motions of end-effectors.A chaotic curve is selected from Duffing equation as the trajectory of master end-effector and a piecewise approximation method is proposed to accurately represent this chaotic trajectory of end-effectors.The dynamical equations of master-slave manipulators with synchronization controller are derived, and the Lyapunov stability theory is used to determine the stability of this controlled synchronization system.In numerical experiments,the synchronous motions of end-effectors as well as three joint angles and torques of master-slave manipulators are studied under the control of the proposed synchronization strategy.It is found that the positive gain matrix affects the implementation of synchronization control strategy.This synchronization control strategy proves the synchronization's feasibility and controllability for complicated motions generated by master-slave manipulators.Qingkai Han Lina Hao Hao Zhang Bangchun Wen 2010Acta Mechanica Sinica2010,26,3:2
