2Shear-responsive boundary-lubricated hydrogels attenuate osteoarthritis显示文摘Lipid-based boundary layers formed on liposome-containing hydrogels can facilitate lubrication.However,these boundary layers can be damaged by shear,resulting in decreased lubrication.Here,a shear-responsive boundary-lubricated drug-loaded hydrogel is created by incorporating celecoxib(CLX)-loaded liposomes within dynamic covalent bond-based hyaluronic acid(HA)hydrogels(CLX@Lipo@HA-gel).The dynamic cross-linked network enables the hydrogel to get restructured in response to shear,and the HA matrix allows the accumulation of internal liposome microreservoirs on the sliding surfaces,which results in the formation of boundary layers to provide stable lubrication.Moreover,hydration shells formed surrounding the hydrogel can retard the degradation process,thus helping in sustaining lubrication.Furthermore,in vitro and in vivo experiments found that CLX@Lipo@HA-gels can maintain anabolic-catabolic balance,alleviate cartilage wear,and attenuate osteoarthritis progression by delivering CLX and shear-responsive boundary lubrication.Overall,CLX@Lipo@HA-gels can serve as shear-responsive boundary lubricants and drug-delivery vehicles to alleviate friction-related diseases like osteoarthritis.Yiting Lei Xingkuan Wang Junyi Liao Jieliang Shen Yuling Li Zhengwei Cai Ning Hu Xiaoji Luo Wenguo Cui Wei Huang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,10:4
3Influence of separator control on the characteristics of severe slugging flow显示文摘Due to the special structure of offshore multiphase pipes, it is easy for severe slugging to occur in the riser at low gas-liquid velocity. Violent pressure fluctuations and dramatic changes of flow rate are the main characteristics of severe slugging, leading to the risk of serious damage. In this paper, the separator control is adopted to accurately control the separator liquid level and pressure under severe slugging flow conditions. This indicates that the separator liquid level control alone does not have a significant impact on the upstream flow, but it is beneficial for normal operation and pressure control of the separator. As the separator pressure increases, the peak pressure in the riser apparently diminishes, and the amplitude of pressure fluctuation gradually decreases, which means that severe slugging is inhibited. During the slug blowing out, the gas/liquid slipping in the riser intensifies. The long gas plug quickly flows through the riser, and then tends to morph into short and slowly flowing gas bubbles. 4Vascularized bone regeneration accelerated by 3D-printed nanosilicate-functionalized polycaprolactone scaffold显示文摘Critical oral-maxillofacial bone defects,damaged by trauma and tumors,not only affect the physiological functions and mental health of patients but are also highly challenging to reconstruct.Personalized biomaterials customized by 3D printing technology have the potential to match oralmaxillofacial bone repair and regeneration requirements.Laponite(LAP)nanosilicates have been added to biomaterials to achieve biofunctional modification owing to their excellent biocompatibility and bioactivity.Herein,porous nanosilicate-functionalized polycaprolactone(PCL/LAP)was fabricated by 3D printing technology,and its bioactivities in bone regeneration were investigated in vitro and in vivo.In vitro experiments demonstrated that PCL/LAP exhibited good cytocompatibility and enhanced the viability of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs).PCL/LAP functioned to stimulate osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs at the mRNA and protein levels and elevated angiogenic gene expression and cytokine secretion.Moreover,BMSCs cultured on PCL/LAP promoted the angiogenesis potential of endothelial cells by angiogenic cytokine secretion.Then,PCL/LAP scaffolds were implanted into the calvarial defect model.Toxicological safety of PCL/LAP was confirmed,and significant enhancement of vascularized bone formation was observed.Taken together,3D-printed PCL/LAP scaffolds with brilliant osteogenesis to enhance bone regeneration could be envisaged as an outstanding bone substitute for a promising change in oral-maxillofacial bone defect reconstruction.Xiongcheng Xu Long Xiao Yanmei Xu Jin Zhuo Xue Yang Li Li Nianqi Xiao Jing Tao Quan Zhong Yanfen Li Yuling Chen Zhibin Du Kai Luo 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,6:3
5Influence of slug flow on flow fields in a gas–liquid cylindrical cyclone separator:A simulation study显示文摘A simulation method for slug flow based on the VOF multiphase flow model was implemented in ANSYS?Fluent via a user-defined function(UDF)and applied to the dissipation of liquid slugs in the inlet pipe of a gas–liquid cylindrical cyclone(GLCC)separator while varying the expanding diameter ratio and angle of inclination.The dissipation of liquid slug in inlet pipe is analyzed under different expanding diameter ratios and inclination angles.In the inlet pipe,it is found that increasing expanding diameter ratio and inclination angle can reduce the liquid slug stability and enhancing the effect of gravity,which is beneficial to slug flow dissipation.In the cylinder,increasing the expanding diameter ratio can significantly reduce the liquid carrying depth of the gas phase but result in a slightly increase of the gas content in the liquid phase space.Moreover,increasing the inclination angle results in a decrease in the carrying depth of liquid in the vapor phase,but enhances gas–liquid mixing and increases the gas-carrying depth in the liquid phase.Taking into consideration the dual effects of slug dissipation in the inlet pipe and carrying capacity of gas/liquid spaces in the cylinder,the optimal expanding diameter ratio and inclination angle values can be determined.Xiaoming Luo Jing Ren Tong Chen YibinWang Yuling Lü Limin He 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,8:2
6Whole-brain patterns of the presynaptic inputs and axonal projections of BDNF neurons in the paraventricular nucleus显示文摘Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) plays a crucial role in human obesity. Yet, the neural circuitry supporting the BDNF-mediated control of energy homeostasis remains largely undefined. To map key regions that might provide inputs to or receive inputs from the paraventricular nucleus (PVN) BDNF neurons, a key type of cells in regulating feeding and thermogenesis, we used rabies virus-based transsynaptic labeling and adeno-associated virus based anterograde tracing techniques to reveal their whole-brain distributions. We found that dozens of brain regions provide dense inputs to or receive dense inputs from PVN BDNF neurons, including several known weight control regions and several novel regions that might be functionally important for the BDNF-mediated regulation of energy homeostasis.Interestingly, several regions show very dense reciprocal connections with PVN BDNF neurons, including the lateral septum, the preoptic area, the ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus, the paraventricular thalamic nucleus, the zona incerta, the lateral parabrachial nucleus, the subiculum, the raphe magnus nucleus, and the raphe pallidus nucleus. These strong anatomical connections might be indicative of important functional connections. 7Spatial pattern and mechanisms of farmland abandonment in Agricultural and Pastoral Areas of Qingzang Plateau显示文摘With the rapid development of social economy and urban−rural integration,the phenomenon of farmland aban-donment worldwide has proved to be one of the main trends of land use and land cover change(LUCC),and profoundly affected the rural landscape and regional ecological environment.Restricted by the natural environ-ment,economic development and backward agricultural technology,the phenomenon of farmland abandonment is also common in the Qingzang Plateau(QP).Therefore,this paper adopted the spatial autocorrelation method to analyze the spatial pattern of abandonment in the agricultural and pastoral areas of the Qingzang Plateau(APA−QP)in 2017,and the geographically weighted regression(GWR)model to explore the effects of geograph-ical resources,socio-economic development and location conditions on farmland abandonment.This study found that:1)From 2015 to 2017,the abandoned farmland area in the APA−QP was approximately 18.23×10^(4)ha,with an overall abandonment rate of 15.18%.On the whole,it showed the distribution characteristics of“strong in the south and weak in the north,strong in the east and weak in the west”.2)There were positive spatial correlation between both abandoned area and abandonment rate in the APA−QP,showing“concave”and“convex”patterns,respectively,mainly concentrated in the Huang−shui Valley and the Southeast Tibet;while in the western and northern regions,the degree of abandonment was relatively low.3)Farmland abandonment in the APA−QP was mainly driven by the geographical environment changes and farmers’decision−making on farmland utilization.There was significant spatial heterogeneity on farmland abandonment associated with the impact of geographical resources,socio−economics and location conditions.The geographical resource factors had a positive impact on the abandonment,and were strongly constrained by natural geographic conditions such as altitude and slope.The farmland resources in the Qingzang Plateau are limited,but are of strategic significance for the sustainable development of agriculture in the whole Qingzang Plateau.In order to realize the rational distribution of agricul-ture and animal husbandry and the sustainable utilization of farmland resources in the plateau region,land use strategies should be implemented according to regional differences and regional advantages in order to ensure the ecological environment security of Qingzang Plateau.Yuling Li Tao Zhou Guanghui Jiang Guangyong Li Dingyang Zhou Yu Luo 2021Geography and Sustainability2021,2,3:1

10Correlation between Serum Level of Adiponectin and Severity of Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis显示文摘Objectives To investigate the correlation between serum level of adiponectin and severity of coronary artery atherosclerosis. Methods Coronary angiographies were performed and serum levels of adiponectin were measured in 88 patients with suspected coronary heart disease (CHD). Patients were divided into groups according to the coronary angiographies and Gensini's scores of coronary artery atherosclerosis. The serum levels of adiponectin were compared in different groups, and multiple regressions were used to analyze the correlation factors of adiponectin. Results ①Serum adiponectin concentration in CHD group [7.1 mg/L(2.4~21.1 mg/L)] was decreased as compared with that in control group [11.6 mg/L(4.4~28.2 mg/L), P<0.01]; ②The serum levels of adiponectin fell while the Gensini’s scores of coronary artery atherosclerosis increased (P<0.05, P<0.01); ③Serum level of adiponectin was positively correlated with the high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, while negatively correlated with the Gensini’s score of coronary artery atherosclerosis and triglyceride (P<0.01). Conclusions Serum adiponectin concentration was decreased in patients with CHD. Low serum levels of adiponectin reflected the severity of coronary artery atherosclerosis. 13Study on Quality Standard of Lujing Yiqi Shengxue Pills显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to establish the quality standard for Lujing Yiqi Shengxue Pills to provide a basis for its quality control.[Methods]According to the quality requirements in the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia,the quality of Lujing Yiqi Shengxue Pills was evaluated from the aspects of properties,identification,inspection and content determination.Radix Astragali,Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Macrocephalae Rhizoma stir-fried with bran and Radix Paeoniae Alba in the preparation were identified and studied by thin layer chromatography(TLC).A high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method was established to determine the content of paeoniflorin in the preparation.[Results]The thin layer spots of Radix Astragali,Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Macrocephalae Rhizoma and Radix Paeoniae Alba were clear and round,and the negative preparations had no interference.The properties,moisture,weight difference,loading difference,dissolution time limit and microbial limit all met the requirements.The regression formula for the quantitative analysis of paeoniflorin in the concentration range of 4.86-194.40μg/ml was:Y=12.0241X+0.8797,R^(2)=0.9999;and the average recovery was 98.9%,and the RSD was 1.7%.[Conclusions]The method has good repeatability,and is stable,feasible,simple and convenient in operation and suitable for quality control of Lujing Yiqi Shengxue Pills.Lida CHEN Xianmei XU Yuchuan LI Yuanfeng YANG Yuling LUO 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,3:0
14Two-Step Preparation of Hierarchical Porous Carbon Materials Derived from Tannin for Use as an Electrode Material for Supercapacitors显示文摘The development and utilization of biomass and agroforestry processing byproducts for high-value applications have been an important topic in the field of renewable materials research.Based on this,a two-step microwave hydrothermal pre-carbonization and KOH activation method was proposed to synthesize tannin-based activated carbons with a high specific surface area,hierarchical pore structure,and good electrochemical performance.The microstructure,texture properties,and physicochemical characteristics were investigated.The results show that the prepared tannin-based activated carbons presented a hierarchical pore structure(micro-and mesopores)with a specific surface area as high as 997.46 m^(3) g^(−1).The electrochemical analysis shows that the tannin-based activated carbons have good wettability and charge transfer rates.Under the three-electrode system with 6 M KOH as the electrolyte,the active material TAC_(600-4) had a maximum specific capacitance of 171 F g^(−1)at 0.5 A g^(−1).As the current density increases to 10 A g^(−1),the specific capacitance can still be maintained at 149 F g^(−1),indicating a good rate capability.Therefore,the specific surface area and pore size of tannin-based activated carbons can be effectively adjusted by the alkali/carbon ratio,making it a promising supercapacitor electrode material and providing a new method for the high-value development of tannins in the field of electrochemical energy storage.Jianping Deng Qianqian Zhang Yuling Lan Lingcong Luo Zimin Dai Zhonghang Lin Zhixin Lu Jiancheng Yuan Yiqi Fu Lu Luo Weigang Zhao 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,6:0
15Construction of a 980 nm laser-activated Pt(Ⅱ)metallacycle nanosystem for efficient and safe photo-induced bacteria sterilization显示文摘Although metal-based chemical agents have demonstrated promising bacteriostatic effects in phototherapy,their short excitation/emission wavelengths and inadequate phototherapy efficiencies make their application in vivo difficult.We therefore synthesized a novel Pt(Ⅱ)metallacycle(Pt1110)that can be activated with a 980 nm laser for photodiagnosis/treatment in deep tissue.We found that Pt1110 significantly improved photothermal conversion(95%improvement)and ^(1)O_(2) generation(ΦΔ75%increase)compared to the ligand itself 1 and was well capable of light-induced sterilization under safe laser irradiation(0.72 W/cm^(2)).In addition,Pt1110 has little to no toxicity to cells.After incorporated into liposome,Pt1110 NPs was effective in wound healing in infection and keratitis models upon laser irradiation,which was accurately observed by NIR-Ⅱfluorescence imaging.This novel metal-coordinated supramolecular material has a potential to become a universal platform for phototherapy in deep tissue.Yuling Xu Chonglu Li Jusung An Xin Ma Jingfang Yang Lishi Luo Yun Deng Jong Seung Kim Yao Sun 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,1:0

17Study on the Extraction Techniques of Impatiens balsamina(Tougucao)显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the extraction method of Impatiens balsamina L.(Tougucao),and to optimize the extraction process conditions and parameters.[Methods]Different ethanol concentrations,ethanol amounts and extraction time were investigated by an orthogonal test L_(9)(3^(4))and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and the extraction process parameters were evaluated by the yield of extract and the content of quercetin.[Results]Under the three optimal extraction conditions of impregnation,heating reflux and ultrasound,the extract yield and quercetin contents of I.balsamina were 8.27%,9.50%,7.09%and 1.60,3.05,3.03μg/g,respectively.Heating reflux extraction and ultrasonic extraction showed higher extract yields and quercetin contents of I.balsamina,while the values were lower under the impregnation extraction conditions.The primary and secondary factors were:ethanol amount(C)>ethanol concentration(A)>extraction time(B).The optimal extraction process of I.balsamina was as follows:adding 10 times of 60%ethanol and ultrasonically extracting for 30 min.[Conclusions]The method is simple,convenient,accurate and reliable,and provides a scientific basis for the research on the extraction process of I.balsamina and its preparations.Lida CHEN Yuanzhe ZHANG Yuling LUO Xianmei XU Hai ZHAO Yan WU 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,4:0
18Synthesis and Antioxidant Activity of(E)ω-Formylcamphene-Based Thiazole Hydrazone Derivatives显示文摘(E)ω-formylcamphene was synthesized fromα-pinene,the main component of turpentine,and then reacted with thiosemicarbazide to obtain(E)ω-formylcamphene thiosemicarbazide 3,which was reacted with 14α-bromoace-tophenone compounds to obtain 14(E)ω-formylcamphene thiazole hydrazone compounds 5a–5n;the yields were all above 80%.The structures of the target compounds were characterized by IR,^(1)H-NMR,^(13)C-NMR,and HR-MS analyses.Then,500,250,125,62.5,and 31.25 mg/L drug solutions were prepared.Free radical scavenging experi-ments of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)and 2,2-bis(3-ethyl-benzothiazole-6-sulfonic acid)diammonium salt(ABTS)were carried out with Trolox and L-ascorbic acid as the control samples.The scavenging rates of 14 compounds for DPPH and ABTS free radicals were obtained;the IC_(50) values of scavenging free radicals were fitted using SPSS software.The results show that 14(E)ω-formylcamphene-based thiazole hydrazone compounds exhibited good scavenging effects on the two free radicals,especially when the concentration of the drug solution was 125 and 62.5 mg/L;most compounds exceeded the scavenging efficiency of Trolox and L-ascorbic acid.Jiayu Chang Qingying Ding Chong Zhong Yao Long Zhuanquan Xiao Hai Luo Yuling Yang Zongde Wang Shengliang Liao Jinzhu Chen Shangxing Chen Ji Zhang 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,1:0
19Applicability of Microbial Limit Test Method for Qingyan Zhisou Powder显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to establish a microbial limit test method for Qingyan Zhisou Powder.[Methods]Applicability tests were carried out according to Microbial Limit Tests of Non-sterile Products,General Rules 1105-1107 of Part IV of Chinese Pharmacopoeia,2020.[Results]Qingyan Zhisou Powder had a strong bacteriostatic effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa.After increasing the dilution ratio(1:40),the bacteriostatic effect was obviously eliminated.When the total number of aerobic microbes was determined by the test liquid dilution method(1:40),the recovery values were in the range of 50%-200%;and when using the test liquid(1:10)to determine the total number of mold and yeasts,the recovery ranged from 50%to 200%.Escherichia coli,Salmonella and bile-tolerant Gram-negative bacteria were detected by both the routine method and dilution method in experimental groups.[Conclusions]The microbial limit test of Qingyan Zhisou Powder adopted the test liquid dilution method,and the routine method could be used for the test of Escherichia coli,Salmonella and bile-tolerant Gram-negative bacteria.The applicability test of the method is feasible,with scientific and accurate results,and the method can effectively control the quality of the preparation and is recommended for popularization.Changping TAI Yuanfeng YANG Yongmin CHEN Yuling LUO Keqin MA Renhui YANG 2023Agricultural Biotechnology2023,12,2:0
20Theranostic Gold Nanoclusters for NIR-II Imaging and Photodynamic Therapy显示文摘Fluorescence imaging in the second near-infrared window(NIR-II,1000―1700 nm)has demonstrated tremendous promise for biomedical applications,with its extraordinarily high resolution and deep tissue penetration.Ultrasmall gold nanoclusters(AuNCs)have shown unique features for NIR-II imaging,such as photostability and biocompatibility,as compared to organic NIR-II molecules or other inorganic NIR-II nanoparticles.Here,we report the first-in-class protein-capped ultrasmall AuNCs(BSA-AuNCs,BSA=bovine serum albumin)for simultaneous NIR-II imaging and photodynamic therapy.The BSA-AuNCs show a uniform size,high quantum yield and excellent photostability,display a high accumulation and long retention in 4T1 tumor,and are used for clear imaging of blood vessels and lymph nodes.Moreover,laser irradiation of these AuNCs can rapidly trigger ROS generation,leading to effective inhibition of tumor cell growth in vitro and in vivo.This study demonstrates the feasibility of a protein-capped ultrasmall AuNCs platform for theranostic applications by combining NIR-II imaging and photodynamic cancer therapy.TANG Lin ZENG Xiaodong ZHOU Hui GUI Conghao LUO Qiulin ZHOU Wenyi WU Jing LI Qianqian LI Yang XIAO Yuling 2021Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2021,37,4:0
