1Different approaches to caudate lobectomy with“curettage and aspiration”technique using a special instrument PMOD:A Report of 76 cases显示文摘AIM: To study different approaches to caudate lobectomy with 'curettage and aspiration' technique using Peng's multifunctional operative dissector (PMOD). The surgical procedure of isolated complete caudate lobectomy was specially discussed.METHODS: In 76 cases of various types of caudate lobectomy, three approaches were used including left side approach, right side approach, and anterior approach.Among the 76 cases, isolated complete caudate lobectomy was carried out in 6 cases with transhepatic anterior approach. The surgical procedure consisted of mobilization of the total liver, ligation and separation of the short hepatic veins, splitting the liver parenchyma through the Cantlie's plane, ligation and division of the caudate portal triads from the hilum, dissection of the root of major hepatic veins,detachment of the caudate lobe from liver parenchyma.RESULTS: The mean operative time was 285±51 min,the mean blood loss was 1 600 mi. No severe complications were observed. Among the 6 cases receiving isolated complete caudate lobectomy with transhepatic anterior approach, one case died 17 months after operation due to disease recurrence and liver failure, the other 5 cases have been alive without recurrence, with one longest survival of 49 months.CONCLUSION: The choice of approach is essential to the success of caudate lobectomy. 2考虑喷口烧蚀影响的高压断路器电弧仿真(英文)显示文摘In order to investigate the influence of nozzle ablation to arc,a 2-D axisymmetric magneto-hydro-dynamics arc model is developed to simulate the arc behavior during the whole interruption process in a puffer-type high voltage circuit breaker,considering the nozzle ablating and the mixing process of Polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) vapor with SF6.The results show that the arc radius firstly increases and then decreases as arc current varies according to its sinusoida waveform.At 3.5 ms after arc initiation the nozzle ablation starts,and 2.5 ms later the current nearly reaches its peak value and nozzle ablation develops intensely.Meanwhile the nozzle is blocked by arc at this time and consequently the vapor concentration in nozzle reaches the highest.Then while the current decreasing and open distance increaseing the vapor concentration gradually decreases.Before current zero the extinction peak of arc voltage occurs.It indicates that the PTFE vapor enhances pressure rise in arc quenching chamber and strengthens the arc blocking effect on nozzle;the arc radius is wider and arc temperature is lower when nozzle ablation is considered.JIANG Xu ZHONG Jianying ZHANG Youpeng ZHANG Gaochao LI Xingwen JIA Shenli 2013高电压技术2013,39,4:11
3Relationship Between Changes of River-lake Networks and Water Levels in Typical Regions of Taihu Lake Basin,China显示文摘The typical regions of the Taihu Lake Basin,China,were selected to analyze the variation characteristics of river-lake networks under intensive human activities.The characteristics of the fractal dimension of river networks and lakes for different periods were investigated and the influences of river system evolution on water level changes were further explored through the comparison of their fractal characters.The results are as follows:1) River network development of the study area is becoming more monotonous and more simple;the number of lakes is reducing significantly,and the water surface ratio has dropped significantly since the 1980s.2) The box dimension of the river networks in all the cities of the study area decreased slowly from the 1960s to the 1980s,while the decrease was significant from the 1980s to the 2000s.The variations of lake correlation dimension are similar to those of the river network box dimensions.This is unfavorable for the storage capacity of the river networks and lakes.3) The Hurst exponents of water levels were all between 0.5 and 1.0 from the 1960s to the 1980s,while decreased in the 2000s,indicating the decline in persistence and increase in the complexity of water level series.The paper draws a conclusion that the relationship between the fractal dimension of river-lake networks and the Hurst exponents of the water level series can reveal the impacts of river system changes on flood disasters to some extent:the disappearance of river networks and lakes will increase the possibility of flood occurrence.YIN Yixing XU Youpeng CHEN Ying 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,6:6

The local existence and uniqueness of classical solution are established. Under appropriate hypotheses, the global existence and blow up in finite time of positive solutions are obtained. It is also proved that the blow up set is almost the whole domain. This differs from the local case. 5Oxidation behavior of ammonium in a 3-dimensional biofilm-electrode reactor显示文摘Excess nitrogenous compounds are detrimental to natural water systems and to human health. To completely realize autohy- drogenotrophic nitrogen removal, a novel 3-dimensional biofilm-electrode reactor was designed. Titanium was electroplated with ruthenium and used as the anode. Activated carbon fiber felt was used as the cathode. The reactor was separated into two chambers by a permeable membrane. The cathode chamber was filled with granular graphite and glass beads. The cathode and cathode chamber were inhabited with domesticated biofilm. In the absence of organic substances, a nitrogen removal efciency of up to 91% was achieved at DO levels of 3.42 ± 0.37 mg/L when the applied current density was only 0.02 mA/cm2. The oxidation of ammonium in biofilm- electrode reactors was also investigated. It was found that ammonium could be oxidized not only on the anode but also on particle electrodes in the cathode chamber of the biofilm-electrode reactor. Oxidation rates of ammonium and nitrogen removal efciency were found to be afected by the electric current loading on the biofilm-electrode reactor. The kinetic model of ammonium at diferent electric currents was analyzed by a first-order reaction kinetics equation. The regression analysis implied that when the current density was less than 0.02 mA/cm2, ammonium removal was positively correlated to the current density. 6Optical orbital angular momentum multiplexing communication via inversely-designed multiphase plane light conversion显示文摘Multiplexing and demultiplexing of optical orbital angular momentum(OAM)are critical operations in modedivision multiplexing communications.Traditional Dammann gratings,spiral phase planes,and optical geometric transformations are regarded as convenient methods for OAM mode(de)multiplexing.However,crosstalk between the different modes and the difficulty of mode multiplexing greatly limit their application to modedivision multiplexing communications.Here,using a set of inversely-designed phase planes,we demonstrate an OAM(de)multiplexer based on multiphase plane light conversion that can enable perfect OAM multiplexing communication.The sorted patterns are Gaussian-like and can be coupled easily into single-mode fiber arrays.Inputs from the fiber array are turned into coaxial OAM modes after the phase planes.OAM mode crosstalk generated by the multiplexer is less than-20 d B,with insertion loss of less than 2.6 d B.OAM modes are sorted by the demultiplexer with mode crosstalk below-10 d B,and the sorting results are coupled to the fiber array.OAM modes carrying 10 Gbit/s on–off keying signals were transmitted in a 5 km few-mode fiber.The measured bit-error-rate curves have power penalties of less than 10 d B.The proposed configuration is highly efficient and convenient and will be beneficial for potential applications in quantum information,information processing,and optical communications.JUNCHENG FANG JINPEI LI ARU KONG YOUPENG XIE CHUXUAN LIN ZHENWEI XIE TING LEI XIAOCONG YUAN 2022Photonics Research2022,10,9:3
7Multifunctional geometric phase optical element for high-efficiency full Stokes imaging polarimetry显示文摘Polarization imaging finds applications in many areas, such as photoelasticity, ellipsometry, and biomedical imaging. A compact, snapshot, and high-efficiency imaging polarimeter is highly desirable for many applications.Here, based on a single multifunctional geometric phase optical element(GPOE), a new method is proposed for high-efficiency snapshot imaging polarimetry. With tailored spatially varying orientation of each anisotropic unit cell, the GPOE works highly efficiently as both a spin sorter and a half-wave plate, enabling snapshot retrieving of a full Stokes vector of incident light. The designed GPOE is implemented in the form of liquid crystal fabricated with a photo-alignment technology, and its application in imaging polarimetry is experimentally demonstrated by retrieving full Stokes parameters of a cylinder vector beam. 8Changes in Total Factor Productivity,Technological Progress and Efficiency of Banana Industry in China显示文摘Based on the DEA-based Malmquist index method,the total factor productivity was calculated for 5 major banana production areas in 2003-2004,and it was further divided into technological progress and technical efficiency.The results show that the total factor productivity of banana industry in China was 1.3% in the sample period,mainly due to technological progress,the average growth rate was 2.6%,while the pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency was -0.1% and -1.2% respectively.The improvement of total factor productivity in banana industry in China relied mainly on technological progress,cultivation of new banana varieties,management of high quality cultivation,popularization and application of water conservation and fertilizer saving technology,and injury-free picking technologies.The pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of banana production were negative,indicating that the management level of banana was not high.The effect of scale economy of this industry through agglomeration and consolidation is still to be practiced.Banana growers should promote the improvement of large scale and management level of the banana industry at the same time of promoting the technological progress.Fang WANG Qinghe HUAN Youpeng KE Jianchun GUO Qiudong LIU 2017Asian Agricultural Research2017,9,8:2
9Change of Flood Patterns in China under the Influences of Climate Change and Human Activities显示文摘Based on the flood affected area(FA) data of the provinces in China from 1950 to 2005,the article discusses the change of the flood patterns in China,and investigates its relationship with climate change and human activities.The flood center shifted from North China and the Yangtze-Huaihe basin in the 1950s towards the south,north and west of China,and located in the south of the Yangtze River and South China after the 1990s.The FA in the western provinces was continuously on the rise since the 1950s.There are two characteristics for the future flood pattern in China.The pattern of 'flood in the south and drought in the north' depends on the north-south shift of the maximum rainfall region in eastern China.The flood intensification to the west of Hu Huanyong's line mainly results from the increase of rainfall,extreme precipitation and the melting of glaciers under the background of human activity magnification.Yin Yixing Xu Youpeng Chen Ying 2009Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2009,7,3:2
10Applications of Metal–Organic Frameworks and Their Derivatives in Electrochemical CO_(2)Reduction显示文摘Electrochemically reducing CO_(2)to more reduced chemical species is a promising way that not only enables the conversion of intermittent energy resources to stable fuels,but also helps to build a closed-loop anthropogenic carbon cycle.Among various electrocatalysts for electrochemical CO_(2)reduction,multifunctional metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)have been employed as highly efficient and selective heterogeneous electrocatalysts due to their ultrahigh porosity and topologically diverse structures.Up to now,great progress has been achieved in the design and synthesis of highly active and selective MOF-related catalysts for electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),and their corresponding reaction mechanisms have been thoroughly studied.In this review,we summarize the recent progress of applying MOFs and their derivatives in CO_(2)RR,with a focus on the design strategies for electrocatalysts and electrolyzers.We first discussed the reaction mechanisms for different CO_(2)RR products and introduced the commonly applied electrolyzer configurations in the current CO_(2)RR system.Then,an overview of several categories of products(CO,HCOOH,CH_(4),CH_(3)OH,and multi-carbon chemicals)generated from MOFs or their derivatives via CO_(2)RR was discussed.Finally,we offer some insights and perspectives for the future development of MOFs and their derivatives in electrochemical CO_(2)reduction.We aim to provide new insights into this field and further guide future research for large-scale applications.Chengbo Li Yuan Ji Youpeng Wang Chunxiao Liu Zhaoyang Chen Jialin Tang Yawei Hong Xu Li Tingting Zheng Qiu Jiang Chuan Xia 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8:2

12In sight of K-deficient layered K_(x)MnO_(2) cathode for potassium-ions batteries显示文摘Potassium-ions batteries(PIBs)are attracting increasing attention as up-and-coming youngster in largescale grid-level energy storage benefiting from its low-cost and high energy density.Nevertheless,enough researches regarding indispensable cathode materials for PIBs are badly absent.Herein,we synthesize K-deficient layered manganese-based oxides(P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2))and investigate them as cathode of PIBs for the first time.As the newcomer of potassium-containing layered manganese-based oxides(K_(x)MnO_(2))group,P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) delivers high discharge capacity of 99.3 mAh g^(-1) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2) exhibits remarkable capacity retention rate of 75.5%.Besides,in-situ XRD and ex-situ XRD measurements reveal the reversible phase transition of P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2) with the potassium-ions extraction and reinsertion,respectively.This work contributes to a better understanding for the potassium storage in K-deficient layered K_(x)MnO_(2)(x≤0.23),possessing an important basic scientific significance for the exploitation and application of layered K_(x)MnO_(2) in PIBs.Tiezhong Liu Shuang Hou Youpeng Li Shoufeng Xue Junhua Hu Haikuo Fu Chenghao Yang Lingzhi Zhao 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:2

18STX5 Inhibits Hepatocellular Carcinoma Adhesion and Promotes Metastasis by Regulating the PI3K/mTOR Pathway显示文摘Background and Aims:Syntaxin 5(STX5)is a member of the syntaxin or target-soluble SNAP receptor(t-SNARE)fam-ily and plays a critical role in autophagy.However,its function and molecular mechanism in tumor cell migration are still un-known.The role of STX5 in influencing hepatocellular carci-noma(HCC)is an important topic in our research.Methods:By using quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),western blotting,and immunohistochemical analysis of RNA and protein in tissues,we comprehensively evaluated data sets from public databases and clinical patient cohorts for STX5.The correlation of STX5 expression with the clinicopathological characteristics of HCC patients were assessed.In addition,we predicted signal pathways from dif-ferentially expressed genes(DEGs)and the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)databases,and confirmed the prediction using integrated transcriptome and RNA-seq.We further investi-gated the underlying mechanisms of STX5 in the migration and adhesion of HCC cells both in vitro and in vivo.Results:In the TCGA dataset and our patient cohort,STX5 levels were significantly higher in HCC tissues than in adjacent normal liver tissues.At the same time,high expression of STX5 pre-dicted worse prognosis in patients with liver cancer.High ex-pression of STX5 indicates the decrease of adhesion and the increase of migration of HCC cells,and the conversion of epi-thelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in vitro via PI3K/mTOR pathway activation.Conversely,when Sirolimus,a phospho-inositide 3-kinase(PI3K)/AKT/mechanistic target of rapa-mycin(mTOR)inhibitor acts on cells simultaneously,STX5 overexpression-mediated enhancement of HCC metastasis is reversed.Double-negative regulation of STX5 and mTOR further enhanced the inhibitory effect of STX5 on HCC me-tastasis.In vivo,STX5 knockdown inhibited the metastasis of HCC cells.Conclusions:Our study demonstrates a novel research result that STX5 promotes HCC metastasis through PI3K/mTOR pathway.We believe that combined inhibition of STX5 and mTOR is a potential treatment for effectively pro-longing patient survival and inhibiting HCC metastasis.Bin Zhang Ziyin Zhao Youpeng Wang Tingting Guo Mingyang He Ge Guan Pai Peng Jinzhen Cai Bingyuan Zhang Xutao Liu Qiaoling Song 2023Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,3:1
