3STX5 Inhibits Hepatocellular Carcinoma Adhesion and Promotes Metastasis by Regulating the PI3K/mTOR Pathway显示文摘Background and Aims:Syntaxin 5(STX5)is a member of the syntaxin or target-soluble SNAP receptor(t-SNARE)fam-ily and plays a critical role in autophagy.However,its function and molecular mechanism in tumor cell migration are still un-known.The role of STX5 in influencing hepatocellular carci-noma(HCC)is an important topic in our research.Methods:By using quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),western blotting,and immunohistochemical analysis of RNA and protein in tissues,we comprehensively evaluated data sets from public databases and clinical patient cohorts for STX5.The correlation of STX5 expression with the clinicopathological characteristics of HCC patients were assessed.In addition,we predicted signal pathways from dif-ferentially expressed genes(DEGs)and the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)databases,and confirmed the prediction using integrated transcriptome and RNA-seq.We further investi-gated the underlying mechanisms of STX5 in the migration and adhesion of HCC cells both in vitro and in vivo.Results:In the TCGA dataset and our patient cohort,STX5 levels were significantly higher in HCC tissues than in adjacent normal liver tissues.At the same time,high expression of STX5 pre-dicted worse prognosis in patients with liver cancer.High ex-pression of STX5 indicates the decrease of adhesion and the increase of migration of HCC cells,and the conversion of epi-thelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in vitro via PI3K/mTOR pathway activation.Conversely,when Sirolimus,a phospho-inositide 3-kinase(PI3K)/AKT/mechanistic target of rapa-mycin(mTOR)inhibitor acts on cells simultaneously,STX5 overexpression-mediated enhancement of HCC metastasis is reversed.Double-negative regulation of STX5 and mTOR further enhanced the inhibitory effect of STX5 on HCC me-tastasis.In vivo,STX5 knockdown inhibited the metastasis of HCC cells.Conclusions:Our study demonstrates a novel research result that STX5 promotes HCC metastasis through PI3K/mTOR pathway.We believe that combined inhibition of STX5 and mTOR is a potential treatment for effectively pro-longing patient survival and inhibiting HCC metastasis.Bin Zhang Ziyin Zhao Youpeng Wang Tingting Guo Mingyang He Ge Guan Pai Peng Jinzhen Cai Bingyuan Zhang Xutao Liu Qiaoling Song 2023Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,3:1

5Nickel-catalysed C-O bond reduction of 2,4,6-triaryloxy-1,3,5-triazines in 2-methyltetrahydrofuran显示文摘A nickel-catalysed reduction of phenol derivatives activated by 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine (TCT) in ecofriendly 2-methyltetrahydrofuran (2-MeTHF) is described. The phenol-TCT derivatives were readily prepared using grinding method in short time without further purification. This catalytic system allowed the facile C-O cleavage of phenol-TCT derivatives under mild reaction conditions with high efficiency and good functional group tolerance. Gram-scale reaction was also achieved. 10Decision-making Method of Sharing Mode for Multi-microgrid System Considering Risk and Coordination Cost显示文摘Power sharing can improve the benefit of the multi-microgrid(MMG)system.However,the information disclosure may appear during the sharing process,which would bring privacy risk to a local microgrid.Actually,the risk and coordination cost are different in different sharing modes.Therefore,this paper develops a decision-making method to decide the most suitable one of three mostly used sharing modes(i.e.,cooperative game with complete information,cooperative game with incomplete information,and noncooperative game).Firstly,power sharing paradigms and coordination mechanisms in the three modes are formulated in detail.Particularly,different economic operation models of MMG system are included to analyze the economic benefit from different sharing modes.Based on the different disclosed information,the risk cost is evaluated by using the simplified fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(FAHP).And the coordination cost for different sharing modes is expressed in different functions.In addition,a hierarchical evaluation system including three decision-making factors(e.g.,economics,risk,and coordination)is set up.Meanwhile,a combination weighting method(e.g.,the simplified FAHP combined with the anti-entropy weight method)is applied to obtain the weight of each factor for comprehensive evaluation.Finally,the optimal sharing solution of MMG system is decided by comparing and analyzing the difference among the three sharing modes.Numerical results validate that the proposed method can provide a reference to deciding a suitable sharing mode.Hongjun Gao Jingxi Yang Shuaijia He Jianglin Zhang Junyong Liu Mingyang Hu 2022Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,6:0

12Anomalous-plasmoid-ejection-induced secondary magnetic reconnection: modeling solar flares and coronal mass ejections by laser–plasma experiments显示文摘The driving mechanism of solar flares and coronal mass ejections is a topic of ongoing debate, apart from the consensus that magnetic reconnection plays a key role during the impulsive process. While present solar research mostly depends on observations and theoretical models, laboratory experiments based on high-energy density facilities provide the third method for quantitatively comparing astrophysical observations and models with data achieved in experimental settings.In this article, we show laboratory modeling of solar flares and coronal mass ejections by constructing the magnetic reconnection system with two mutually approaching laser-produced plasmas circumfused of self-generated megagauss magnetic fields. 14Boosting SN38-based oral chemotherapy to combine reductionbioactivated structured lipid-mimetic prodrug with ascorbic acid显示文摘The reduction-responsive disulfide bonds have been widely used as bioactive linkages to facilitate a rapid release of anticancer drugs into tumor cells.However,the activation can be hindered by the kinetics of the thiol-disulfide exchange reactions.Supplementing with an additional reductant is a promising strategy to further boost drug release.Herein,inspired by the specific absorption mechanism of triglyceride fat,structured lipid-mimetic oral prodrugs of 7-ethyl-10-hydroxycamptothecin(SN38)were designed to improve intestinal permeability and bypass the first-pass effect.SN38 prodrugs were prepared into lipid formulations that could self-emulsify into nano-sized particles after entering the gastrointestinal tract.Surprisingly,we found that the oral bioavailability of the prodrug lipid formulation could be up to 2.69-fold higher than that of the parent SN38,indicating an effective oral delivery.In addition,the reduction-responsive disulfide bond was used as a linker,and ascorbic acid(ASC)was coadministrated to further promote the efficient release of SN38 from the prodrug.ASC enhanced the oral antitumor effect of the reduction-responsive oral prodrug and exhibited good safety.In summary,the combination of a structured lipid-mimetic prodrug and ASC was firstly demonstrated to boost the oral chemotherapy effect of the difficult-for-oral chemotherapeutics.Helin Wang Qi Lu Yifan Miao Jiaxuan Song Mingyang Zhang Zixuan Wang Haotian Zhang Zhonggui He Chutong Tian Jin Sun 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0
15Flame Retardant Effect of Isocyanate Trimer on Polyisocyanurate Foam显示文摘The effect of Isocyanate trimer on the flame retardancy mechanism of polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam was studied through 3 aspects including the mechanism of thermal decomposition stage in condensed phase,the barrier mechanism of carbon layer formation on the surface in condensed phase and the mechanism in gaseous phase by using infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,thermal analysis,cone calorimeter,high temperature pyrolysis gas chromatography mass spectrometry.The results show that the trimer can improve the thermal stability of the PIR foam and is not easily decomposed in the combustion.The trimer can increase the carbon content of the PIR foam to 29.9% than that of the polyurethane (PU) foam.The carbon layer formed is denser,and it can retards heat and oxygen and thus improve the flame retardant properties;trimer can reduce the release of flammable polyol gas,decompose into more carbon dioxide which is inert gas and it has certain flame retardant effect in the gaseous phase.Mingyang Du Chunze He Canhui Zhou 2018Journal of Polymer Science and Engineering2018,1,1:0
16Rational design of imine-linked three-dimensional mesoporous covalent organic frameworks with bor topology显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)covalent organic frameworks(COFs)possess great potential applications in various fields.Constructing 3D COFs with large pore sizes is extremely challenging due to the interpenetration and collapse.Herein,we report a series of crystalline imine-linked 3D COFs(3D-bor-COF-1,3D-borCOF-2,3D-bor-COF-3)with mesoporous channels through rationally designing the topology configuration.These 3D-bor-COFs display permanent porosity and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET)surfaces of 3205.5,1752.7,and 2077.3 m2 g−1(SLangmuir=4277.7,2480.3,and 2698.0 m2 g−1),respectively.The pore sizes of 3Dbor-COFs were confirmed by the lattice fringes from high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,as well as structural simulation and nitrogen adsorption isotherm analysis.3D-bor-COFs display large pore sizes(3.8 nm for 3D-borCOF-3),which is among the highest record of 3D COFs.Owing to the unstackedaromatic pore environment and high specific surface area,3D-bor-COFs display excellent adsorption capacity for benzene vapor(1203.9 mg g−1 for 3D-bor-COF-3)under 298 K,which is three times higher than that of the best-reported 2D COF.This work not only provides inspiration for designing 3D mesoporous imineCOFs,but also demonstrates a strategy for constructing aromatics adsorption materials.Zonglong Li Chouhung Hsueh Zhuozhuo Tang Jia Chen Xiaolin Wang Hao Cui Yang Yang Xiaodan Wang Dongsheng Ren Hongqiang Gao Mingyang Li Hong Xu Xiangming He 2022SusMat2022,2,2:0

18A study on the design of a hybrid policy for carbon abatement显示文摘A necessary way to mitigate global warming is carbon reduction, which the international community is now actively promoting. China has committed a target goal for carbon reduction to the international society, and has devoted a great effort toward researching the impact of related policies. Carbon taxation and carbon trading are the two main mechanisms to advocate carbon abatement, which many countries have been using. Each of these two mechanisms possesses advantages and disadvantages, and an appropriate combination of them can make best use of their advantages while bypassing their disadvantages, creating a superior mechanism. In our opinion, the main differences between these two mechanisms are that carbon taxation has a lower institution cost(consisting of the related infrastructural investment and the regulation cost,etc), and is easier to operate, but lacks the flexibility in response to variations of market conditions. However, this flexibility is just the origin of risk, which increases the difficulty for firms in their decision of carbon abatement and is an indirect way to incentivize carbon abatement, compared to carbon trading, which has a more direct effect in carbon reduction. Based on the above observation, we present a hybrid mechanism of carbon abatement, which is an organized combination of carbon taxation and carbon trading. It consists of two parts: first, the carbon taxation, which has a progressive tax rate, second, the carbon trading. Small firms will only pay the carbon tax, while large firms, will first need to get the initial carbon emission quotas by some way, and then trade it in the carbon market if necessary. For firms with extra emissions,they will receive a punishment according to a high carbon tax rate. This hybrid policy considers the equity between different firms in carbon emission rights as well as the efficiency of the mechanism while decreasing the risk level for firms in the carbon emission decision, making it superior to the two previous policies. We also analyze the feasibility of this hybrid policy in China,address some important issues in the implementation of this hybrid policy in China and present the relevant suggestions. 19Seamlessly Merging the Capacity of P into Sb at Same Voltage with Maintained Superior Cycle Stability and Low-temperature Performance for Li-ion Batteries显示文摘Among the alloying-type anodes,elemental Sb possesses the suitable yet safe plateau,simple lithiation pathway,small voltage polarization,high conductivity,and superior cycle stability.However,challenge is that its intrinsic capacity is rather low(660 mAh g^(-1)),<1/6 of silicon.Herein,we propose a seamless integration strategy by merging the voltage and capacity of phosphorus and antimony into a solid solution alloy.Interestingly,the enlistment of P is found greatly enlarge the capacity from 660 to 993 mAh g^(-1) for such Sb_(30)P_(30) solid solution,while maintaining a single and stable discharge plateau(~0.79 V)similar to elemental Sb.Various experimental characterizations including XPS,PDF,Raman,and EDS mapping reveal that in such a material the P and Sb atoms have interacted with each other to form a homogenous solid solution alloy,rather than a simple mixing of the two substances.Thus,the Sb_(30)P_(30) exhibits superior rate performances(807 mAh g^(-1) at 5000 mA g^(-1))and cyclability(821 mAh g^(-1) remained after 300 cycles).Furthermore,such Sb_(60-x)P_(x) alloys can even deliver 621 mAh g^(-1) at30℃,which can be served as the alternative anode materials for high-energy and low-temperature batteries.This unique seamless integration strategy based on solid solution chemistry can be easily leveraged to manipulate the capacity of other electrode materials at similar voltage.Yaqing Wei Jun He Jie Zhang Mingyang Ou Yanpeng Guo Jiajun Chen Cheng Zeng Jia Xu Jiantao Han Tianyou Zhai Huiqiao Li 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,2:0
