2Breast cancer-specific serum peptide profiles显示文摘Early detection of breast cancer is paramount to successful clinical therapy. Yet, early-stage breast cancer lacks specific symptoms or biomarkers. With the emerging of the mass spectrometric (MS) -based signatures as biomarkers, we investigated breast cancer-related serum profile pattern through class prediction and independent validation, and used Fourier transfer MS to identify breast cancer signature. We now show a distinctive serum peptide pattern that discriminates breast cancer from healthy controls with 93.2% sensitivity and 95.4% specificity. m/z 5901.70 and 4465.74 of ion fragment of FPA and alpha1-antichymotrypsin are found in the signatures that predominantly discriminate breast cancer from healthy individuals. 3Design of Fault Detection Observer Based on Hyper Basis Function显示文摘In this paper, we propose the Hyper Basis Function(HBF) neural network on the basis of Radial Basis Function(RBF) neural network. Compared with RBF, HBF neural networks have a more generalized ability with different activation functions. A decision tree algorithm is used to determine the network center. Subsequently, we design an adaptive observer based on HBF neural networks and propose a fault detection and diagnosis method based on the observer for the nonlinear modeling ability of the neural network. Finally, we apply this method to nonlinear systems. 4Electroacupuncture improves neuropathic pain Adenosine, adenosine 5'-triphosphate disodium and their receptors perhaps change simultaneously显示文摘Applying a stimulating current to acupoints through acupuncture needles-known as electroacupuncture-has the potential to produce analgesic effects in human subjects and experimental animals. When acupuncture was applied in a rat model, adenosine 5-triphosphate disodium in the extracellular space was broken down into adenosine, which in turn inhibited pain transmission by means of an adenosine A1 receptor-dependent process. Direct injection of an adenosine A1 receptor agonist enhanced the analgesic effect of acupuncture. The analgesic effect of acupuncture appears to be mediated by activation of A1 receptors located on ascending nerves. In neuropathic pain, there is upregulation of P2X purinoceptor 3 (P2X3) receptor expression in dorsal root ganglion neurons. Conversely, the onset of mechanical hyperalgesia was diminished and established hyperalgesia was significantly reversed when P2X3 receptor expression was downregulated. The pathways upon which electroacupuncture appear to act are interwoven with pain pathways, and electroacupuncture stimuli converge with impulses originating from painful areas. 5A fast synthetic strategy for high-quality atomically thin antimonene with ultrahigh sonication power显示文摘Recent theoretical studies revealed that two-dimensional (2D) antimonene hasattractive characteristics, such as superior photothermal conductivity, absorptionover a wide range, high mobility, and good spintronic properties. Herein, we reporta reliable liquid phase exfoliation (LPE) route for the preparation of high-qualityhigh-stability atomically thin (AT) antimonene via high ultrasonic power. TheAT antimonene delivers a high specific capacity of up to 860 mA.h.g-1, with highrate capability and good cycling stability as an anode of a sodium ion battery(SIB). 12Lenvatinib-and vadimezan-loaded synthetic high-density lipoprotein for combinational immunochemotherapy of metastatic triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Metastatic triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is the most aggressive type of breast cancer.Combination of systemic chemotherapy and immune checkpoint blockade is effective but of limited benefit due to insufficient intratumoral infiltration of cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTLs)and the accumulation of immunosuppressive cells.Herein,we designed a lenvatinib-and vadimezan-loaded synthetic high-density lipoprotein(LV-sHDL)for combinational immunochemotherapy of metastatic TNBC.The LV-sHDL targeted scavenger receptor class B type 1-overexpressing 4T1 cells in the tumor after intravenous injection.The multitargeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI)lenvatinib induced immunogenic cell death of the cancer cells,and the stimulator of interferon genes(STING)agonist vadimezan triggered local inflammation to facilitate dendritic cell maturation and antitumor macrophage differentiation,which synergistically improved the intratumoral infiltration of total and active CTLs by 33-and 13-fold,respectively.LV-sHDL inhibited the growth of orthotopic 4T1 tumors,reduced pulmonary metastasis,and prolonged the survival of animals.The efficacy could be further improved when LV-sHDL was used in combination with antibody against programmed cell death ligand 1.This study highlights the combination use of multitargeted TKI and STING agonist a promising treatment for metastatic TNBC.Chao Zheng Wen Zhang Jinming Wang Yihui Zha Fengqin Xiong Ying Cai Xiang Gong Binyu Zhu Helen He Zhu Hao Wang Yaping Li Pengcheng Zhang 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,9:1

16Phase Regulation and Defect Passivation Enabled by Phosphoryl Chloride Molecules for Efficient Quasi‑2D Perovskite Light‑Emitting Diodes显示文摘Quasi-2D perovskites have attracted tremendous interest for application as lightemission layers in light-emitting diodes(LEDs).However,the heterogeneous n phase and non-uniform distribution still severely limit the further development of quasi-2D perovskite LEDs(Pero-LEDs).Meanwhile,the increased defect density caused by the reduced dimension and grain size induces non-radiative recombination and further deteriorates the device performance.Here,we found that a series of molecules containing phosphoryl chloride functional groups have noticeable enhancement effects on the device performance of quasi-2D Pero-LEDs.Then,we studied the modification mechanism by focusing on the bis(2-oxo-3-oxazolidinyl)phosphinic chloride(BOPCl).It is concluded that the BOPCl can not only regulate the phase distribution by decreasing the crystallization rate but also remain in the grain boundaries and passivate the defects.As a result,the corresponding quasi-2D Pero-LEDs obtained a maximum external quantum efficiency(EQE_(max))of 20.82%and an average EQE(EQE_(ave))of around 20%on the optimal 50 devices,proving excellent reproducibility.Our work provides a new selection of molecular types for regulating the crystallization and passivating the defects of quasi-2D perovskite films.Mingliang Li Yaping Zhao Jia Guo Xiangqian Qin Qin Zhang Chengbo Tian Peng Xu Yuqing Li Wanjia Tian Xiaojia Zheng Guichuan Xing Wen‑Hua Zhang Zhanhua Wei 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8:1

18Aristolochic acids exposure was not the main cause of liver tumorigenesis in adulthood显示文摘Aristolochic acids(AAs) have long been considered as a potent carcinogen due to its nephrotoxicity. Aristolochic acid I(AAI) reacts with DNA to form covalent aristolactam(AL)-DNA adducts,leading to subsequent A to T transversion mutation, commonly referred as AA mutational signature. Previous research inferred that AAs were widely implicated in liver cancer throughout Asia. In this study, we explored whether AAs exposure was the main cause of liver cancer in the context of HBV infection in China's Mainland. Totally 1256 liver cancer samples were randomly retrieved from 3 medical centers and a refined bioanalytical method was used to detect AAI-DNA adducts. 5.10% of these samples could be identified as AAI positive exposure. Whole genome sequencing suggested 8.41% of 107 liver cancer patients exhibited the dominant AA mutational signature, indicating a relatively low overall AAI exposure rate. In animal models, long-term administration of AAI barely increased liver tumorigenesis in adult mice, opposite from its tumor-inducing role when subjected to infant mice. Furthermore, AAI induced dose-dependent accumulation of AA-DNA adduct in target organs in adult mice, with the most detected in kidney instead of liver. 19Research progress on space charge layer effect in lithium-ion solid-state battery显示文摘The development of lithium-ion solid electrolyte provides new ideas for solving the safety problems of secondary lithium-ion batteries(LIB) and, at the same time, the improvement of energy density. However, the consequent solid-solid interfacial problems have become a typical bottleneck to the performance. It has been considered that the space charge layer(SCL) formed at the interface to balance the sharp electrochemical inherent difference of properties is one of the most important factors that affect the ion transportation along and across the interface. Its existence may hinder ion transportation and increase the interfacial impedance but may also help to provide a new percolation path for lithium ion and so to enhance the ion migration. However the mechanism of SPL formation and its regulation on ion transport is not very clear, so it has raised a lot of attention and interest from LIB researchers. The purpose of this article is to try to gain some knowledge of SCL and, at the same time to browse through the related research in recent years. 20Se-Ni Se_(2) hybrid nanosheet arrays with self-regulated elemental Se for efficient alkaline water splitting显示文摘Understanding the catalytic mechanism of non-noble transition metal electrocatalysts is crucial to designing high-efficiency,low-cost,and durable alternative electrocatalysts for water splitting which comprises the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) and oxygen evolution reaction(OER).In this work,Se-NiSe_(2) hybrid nanosheets with a self-regulated ratio of ionic Se(I-Se) to elemental Se(E-Se) are designed on carbon cloth by solution synthesis and hydrothermal processing.The effects of the I-Se/E-Se ratios on the electrocatalytic characteristics in HER and OER are investigated systematically both experimentally and theoretically.The optimized bifunctional electrocatalyst needs overpotentials of only 133 mV to deliver an HER current density of 10 mA cm^(-2) and 350 mV to generate an OER current density of 100 mA cm^(-2) in1.0 mol L^(-1) KOH.Based on the density-functional theory calculation,surface-adsorbed E-Se is beneficial to optimizing the electron environment and the adsorption/desorption free energy of hydrogen/water of the hybrid catalyst,consequently facilitating the electrocatalytic water splitting process.There is a proper I-Se/E-Se ratio to improve the catalytic activity and kinetics of the reaction and the optimized E-Se adsorption amount can balance the interactions between I-Se and E-Se,so that the catalyst can achieve appropriate Se-H binding and active site exposure for the excellent electrocatalytic activity.To demonstrate the practicality,the assembled symmetrical device can be powered by an AA battery to produce hydrogen and oxygen synchronously.Our results provide a deeper understanding of the catalytic mechanism of transition metal selenides in water splitting and insights into the design of high-efficiency and low-cost electrocatalysts in energy-related applications.Xiang Peng Yujiao Yan Shijian Xiong Yaping Miao Jing Wen Zhitian Liu Biao Gao Liangsheng Hu Paul K.Chu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,23:1
