1Possible mechanism underlying analgesic effect of Tuina in rats may involve piezo mechanosensitive channels within dorsal root ganglia axon显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the analgesic effect of Tuina mainly from mechanically sensitive ion channels in peripheral myelinated nerve fibers.METHODS: A total of 40 healthy and pathogen-free adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were used in the study [weight:(220.0 ± 1.4) g, Shanghai Slac Laboratory Animal Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China; license No. Shanghai ICP 05033115]. The rats were housed in cages with free access to water and food in a temperature-controlled room [(22 ± 1) ℃] and12-h/12-h light-dark cycle. Thirty-two rats were randomly divided into five groups: naive, sham, chronic compression of dorsal root ganglion(CCD), Tuina(7 d) and Tuina(21 d). CCD rat model was established via unilateral DRG compression by'L'liked steel bar. Chinese Tuina treatment was accepted once per day. Behavior monitoring of paw withdrawal threshold(PWT) and paw withdrawal latency(PWL) were tested. The expression of Piezo1 and Piezo2 in myelinated nerve fiber were analyzed by immunohistochemistry and Western-blotting.RESULTS: There was a high expression of Piezo2 and a low expression of Piezo1 in the naive and CCD groups. In contrast, the expression of Piezo2 was down regulated and Piezo1 was increased after a period of Tuina. 2Design and application of 60mer oligonucleotide microarray in SARS coronavirus detection显示文摘The 60mer oligonucleotide microarray was designed and applied to detecting of SARS (severe acute res-piratory syndrome) coronavirus. Thirty 60mer specific oligos were designed to cover the whole genome of the first submit-ted coronavirus strain, according to the sequence of TOR2 (GENEBANK Accession: AY274119). These primers were synthesized and printed into a microarray with 12×12 spots. RNAs were extracted from the throat swab and gargling fluid of SARS patients and reverse-transcripted into the double strand cDNAs. The cDNAs were prepared as re-stricted cDNA fragments by the restriction display (RD) technique and labeled by PCR with the Cy5-universal primer. The labeled samples were then applied to the oligo microar-ray for hybridization. The diagnostic capability of the mi-croarray was evaluated after the washing and scanning steps. The scanning result showed that samples of SARS patients were hybridized with multiple SARS probes on the microar-ray, and there is no signal on the negative and blank controls. These results indicate that the genome of SARS coronavirus can be detected in parallel by the 60mer oligonucleotide mi-croarray, which can improve the positive ratio of the diagno-sis. 3Fiber-reinforced composites in milling and grinding:machining bottlenecks and advanced strategies显示文摘Fiber-reinforced composites have become the preferred material in the fields of aviation and aerospace because of their high-strength performance in unit weight.The composite components are manufactured by near netshape and only require finishing operations to achieve final dimensional and assembly tolerances.Milling and grinding arise as the preferred choices because of their precision processing.Nevertheless,given their laminated,anisotropic,and heterogeneous nature,these materials are considered difficult-to-machine.As undesirable results and challenging breakthroughs,the surface damage and integrity of these materials is a research hotspot with important engineering significance.This review summarizes an up-to-date progress of the damage formation mechanisms and suppression strategies in milling and grinding for the fiber-reinforced composites reported in the literature.First,the formation mechanisms of milling damage,including delamination,burr,and tear,are analyzed.Second,the grinding mechanisms,covering material removal mechanism,thermal mechanical behavior,surface integrity,and damage,are discussed.Third,suppression strategies are reviewed systematically from the aspects of advanced cutting tools and technologies,including ultrasonic vibration-assisted machining,cryogenic cooling,minimum quantity lubrication(MQL),and tool optimization design.Ultrasonic vibration shows the greatest advantage of restraining machining force,which can be reduced by approximately 60%compared with conventional machining.Cryogenic cooling is the most effective method to reduce temperature with a maximum reduction of approximately 60%.MQL shows its advantages in terms of reducing friction coefficient,force,temperature,and tool wear.Finally,research gaps and future exploration directions are prospected,giving researchers opportunity to deepen specific aspects and explore new area for achieving high precision surface machining of fiber-reinforced composites.Teng GAO Yanbin ZHANG Changhe LI Yiqi WANG Yun CHEN Qinglong AN Song ZHANG Hao Nan LI Huajun CAO Hafiz Muhammad ALI Zongming ZHOU Shubham SHARMA 2022Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2022,17,2:3

5Simplified Echo-State-Network Based Services Awareness for High-Speed Passive Optical Network显示文摘With the challenge from services diversity grows greatly,the service-oriented supporting ability is required to current high-speed passive optical network(PON) .Aimed to enhance the quality of service(Qo S) brought by diversified-services,this paper proposes an Simplified Echo State Network(SESN) Based Services Awareness scheme in High-Speed PON(Passive Optical Network) .In this proposed scheme,the ring topology is adopted in the reservoir of SESN to reduce the complexity of original Echo State Network,and system dynamics equation is introduced to keep the accuracy of SESN.According to the network architecture of 10G-EPON,a SESN Master is running in the OLT and a number of SESN Agents work in ONUs.The SESN Master plays the main function of service-awareness from the total view of various kinds services in 10G-EPON system,by fully SESN training.Then,the reservoir information of well-trained SESN in OLT will be broadcasted to all ONUs and those SESN Agents working in ONUs are allowed to conducts independent service-awareness function.Thus,resources allocation and transport policy are both determined just only in ONUs.Simulation results show that the proposed mechanism is able to better supporting ability for multiple services.Huifeng Bai Dongshan Wang Yanbin Song 2017China Communications2017,14,6:1

8Turning ZrTe_5 into a semiconductor through atom intercalation显示文摘In this study we successfully intercalated potassium(K) atoms into single ZrTe_5 crystals by liquid ammonia method, and found a semimetal-to-semiconductor transition at low temperatures in K-intercalated ZrTe_5. As the K concentration increased, the resistance anomalous peak was gradually suppressed until finally disappearing. Whilst, the corresponding Hall resistance measurements consistently showed a sign reversal. 14Integrated genetic linkage map of cultivated peanut by three RIL populations显示文摘High-density and precise genetic linkage map is fundamental to detect quantitative trait locus (QTL) of agronomic and quality related traits in cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.). In this study, three linkage maps from three RIL (recombinant inbred line)populations were used to construct an integrated map. A total of 2,069 SSR and transposon markers were anchored on the high-density integrated map which covered 2,231.53 cM with 20 linkage groups. Totally, 92 QTLs correlating with pod length (PL), pod width (PW), hundred pods weight (HPW) and plant height (PH) from above RIL populations were mapped on it. Seven intervals were found to harbor QTLs controlling the same traits in different populations,including one for PL, three for PW, two for HPW, and one for PH. Besides, QTLs controlling different traits in different populations were found to be overlapped in four intervals.Interval on A05 contains 17 QTLs for different traits from two RIL populations. 17National incidence of joint dislocation in China:a retrospective survey of 512,187 individuals显示文摘Background:Joint dislocations significantly impact public health.However,a comprehensive study on the incidence,distribution,and risk factors for joint dislocations in China is lacking.We conducted the China National Joint Dislocation Study,which is a part of the China National Fracture Study conducted to obtain the national incidence and risk factors for traumatic fractures,and to investigate the incidence and risk factors for joint dislocations.Methods:For this national retrospective epidemiological study,512,187 participants were recruited using stratified random sampling and probability-proportional-to-size method from January 19 to May 16,2015.Participants who sustained joint dislocations of the trunk,arms,or legs(skull,sternum,and ribs being excluded)in 2014 were personally interviewed to obtain data on age,educational background,ethnic origin,occupation,geographic region,and urbanization degree.The joint-dislocation incidence was calculated based on age,sex,body site,and demographic factors.The risk factors for different groups were examined using multiple logistic regression.Results:One hundred and nineteen participants sustained 121 joint dislocations in 2014.The population-weighted incidence rate of joint dislocations of the trunk,arms,or legs was 0.22(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.16,0.27)per 1000 population in 2014(men,0.27[0.20,0.34];women,0.16[0.10,0.23]).For all ages,previous dislocation history(male:OR 42.33,95%confidence interval[CI]:12.03-148.90;female:OR 54.43,95%CI:17.37-170.50)and alcohol consumption(male:OR 3.50,95%CI:1.49-8.22;female:OR 2.65,95%CI:1.08-6.50)were risk factors for joint dislocation.Sleeping less than 7 h/day was a risk factor for men.Compared with children,women aged≥15 years(female 15-64 years:OR 0.16,95%CI:0.04-0.61;female≥65 years:OR 0.06,95%CI:0.01-0.41)were less likely to sustain joint dislocations.Women with more than three children were at higher dislocation risk than women without children(OR 6.92,95%CI:1.18-40.78).Conclusions:The up-to-date data on joint dislocation incidence,distribution,and risk factors can be used as a reference for national healthcare,prevention,and management in China.Specific strategies for decreasing alcohol consumption and encouraging adequate sleeping hours should be developed to prevent or reduce dislocation incidents.Trial Registration:Chinese Clinical Trial Registry,ChiCTR-EPR-15005878.Hongzhi Lv Wei Chen Zhiyong Hou Siming Jia Yanbin Zhu Bo Liu Xiao Chen Guang Yang Lei Liu Tao Zhang Haili Wang Bing Yin Song Liu Jialiang Guo Xiaolin Zhang Yichong Li Yingze Zhang 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,14:0

19Positive Effects of Isopropanol as a Co-Precipitant in Glycerol-3-Phosphate Acyltransferase Crystallization显示文摘Glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase(GPAT) is considered as the rate-limiting enzyme of glycerolipid synthesis pathway and the core element in lysophosphatidic acid(LPA) synthesis. For understanding its catalytic mechanism, the structural biology study is expected, but is always hindered by obtaining crystals for X-ray diffraction analysis. In this study, a progressive strategy to optimize the crystal of microalgae plastidial GPAT was presented. After the expression and purification of GPAT, the crystals were screened by hanging-drop and only clusters were obtained. The crystals were optimized by adjusting temperature, pH, protein concentration, or precipitant, but little improvement. To improve the interaction between protein and precipitant, the isopropanol was applied as co-precipitant. The qualified crystals formed. It's suggested that isopropanol is critical to affect protein crystallization by altering polyethylene glycol(PEG)-water-protein interaction when PEG serves as precipitant. The resulting crystal diffracted to a resolution of 2.75 ? and belonged to space group P1, with unit-cell parameters a = 50.79, b = 80.09, c = 88.21 ?, and α = 62.85, β = 73.04, γ = 80.53?. 20New design method of unequal taper thread(UTT)pairs and its application in API NC38 thread improvement显示文摘API standard threads are the most commonly used thread configurations for drill pipe joints in the petroleum industry.Recently with the increasing application of horizontal wells and extended-reach wells in drilling engineering,drill pipe joint threads are subjected to complex loads,and drill pipe joint thread breakage accidents occur frequently.The API NC38 threaded pair used in the SU36-8-4H2 well suffered a fracture accident.Macroscopic analysis found that the fracture sites were located near the root of the first engagement pin-thread where the stress was greatest.Therefore,it is necessary to find an alternative method to reduce the largest stress of NC38 threads.Then,a new design method of unequal taper thread(UTT)pairs is proposed that the taper of pin thread,slightly smaller than the taper of matched-box thread,is not equal to one of box-thread.In the UTT pairs of API NC38 thread,the taper of box thread is kept as the standard taper of 1:6,but the taper of pin thread is,respectively,1:6.1(UTT-I),1:6.2(UTT-Ⅱ),1:6.3(UTT-Ⅲ)and 1:6.4(UTT-IV).The 3D finite element models of four UTT pairs and one standard pair based on NC38 thread were developed,and the mechanical properties of five thread pairs bearing such typical working loads as torque,axial compression,axial tension,bending moment,internal and external pressure,were analyzed.The results show that four UTT pairs are superior to the standard pair of API NC38,and UTT-Ⅲ has the most performance in all of four UTT pairs.Compared with the standard pair of API NC38,UTT-Ⅲ pair can improve the bearing capacity such as torsion strength,compression strength,tensile strength,bending strength,strength against internal and external pressure,by 24.8%,13.2%,22%,9.99%and 14.2%,respectively.The new design method of UTT pair enhances the bearing capacity of API NC38 thread,and has been applied in Changqing Drilling Company of CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited.The UTT-thread pair method is not only applicable for API series threads to improve the connection performance,but also suitable for various non-API taper connection threads to promote existing working ability such as air tightness,stress corrosion resistance,fatigue resistance et al.Hangming Liu Yangye He Jifang Wan Lin Chen Xianzhong Yi Song Hou Yanbin Wang Dongxu He Gang Li 2023Petroleum2023,9,3:0
