1A Regional Ocean Reanalysis System for Coastal Waters of China and Adjacent Seas显示文摘A regional ocean reanalysis system for the coastal waters of China and adjacent seas has been developed by the National Marine Data and Information Service(NMDIS).It produces a dataset package called CORA (China ocean reanalysis).The regional ocean model used is based on the Princeton Ocean Model with a generalized coordinate system(POMgcs).The model is parallelized by NMDIS with the addition of the wave breaking and tidal mixing processes into model parameterizations.Data assimilation is a sequential three-dimensional variational(3D-Var) scheme implemented within a multigrid framework.Observations include satellite remote sensing sea surface temperature(SST),altimetry sea level anomaly(SLA),and temperature/salinity profiles.The reanalysis fields of sea surface height,temperature,salinity,and currents begin with January 1986 and are currently updated every year. Error statistics and error distributions of temperature,salinity and currents are presented as a primary evaluation of the reanalysis fields using sea level data from tidal gauges,temperature profiles,as well as the trajectories of Argo floats.Some case studies offer the opportunity to verify the evolution of certain local circulations.These evaluations show that the reanalysis data produced provide a good representation of the ocean processes and phenomena in the coastal waters of China and adjacent seas.Guijun Han Wei Li Xuefeng Zhang Dong Li Zhongjie He Xidong Wang Xinrong Wu Ting Yu Jirui Ma 2011Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2011,28,3:27
2Dopant-Controlled Synthesis of Water-Soluble Hexagonal NaYF_(4) Nanorods with Efficient Upconversion Fluorescence for Multicolor Bioimaging显示文摘A novel strategy is proposed to directly synthesize water-soluble hexagonal NaYF4 nanorods by doping rare-earth ions with large ionic radius (such as La^(3+), Ce^(3+), Pr^(3+), Nd^(3+), Sm^(3+), Eu^(3+), and Gd^(3+)), and the dopant- controlled growth mechanism is studied. Based on the doping effect, we fabricated water-soluble hexagonal NaYF4:(Yb,Er)/La and NaYF4:(Yb,Er)/Ce nanorods, which exhibited much brighter upconversion fluorescence than the corresponding cubic forms. The sizes of the nanorods can be adjusted over a broad range by changing the dopant concentration and reaction time. 3Deep Structural Framework and Genetic Analysis of Gold Concentration Areas in the Northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula, China: A New Understanding based on High-Resolution Reflective Seismic Survey显示文摘The gold concentration areas in the northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula constituted an important gold metallogenetic region in Eastern China during the Mesozoic. The deep geological bodies' texture characteristic is important for exploring the resources thoroughly and understanding the metallogenic process. The detailed textures were revealed using high-resolution seismic profiles through the three major ore-controlling structures-Sanshandao fault zone, Jiaojia fault zone and Zhaoping fault zone. This study aims to establish a deep structural framework of this area. Based on their formation mechanism, the fault structures developed in the area can be divided into regional and local fault structures. The structural styles are characterised by superimposing their compressional, strike-slip and extensional multi-stage activities. The crust is cut by vertical structures corresponding to a left-lateral strike-slip fault system on the surface. Nearby these structures are the arc-shape structures formed by multi-stage magma intrusions into the upper crust. Bounded by the Tancheng–Lujiang and Muping–Jimo fault zones, the current Jiaodong block, developed a series of NE-trending strike-slip fault systems, was probably formed by the assemblage of several obliquely aligned blocks. The intensive magmatism and hydrothermal activity between the blocks induced large-scale mineralisation. 4The High Energy X-ray telescope (HE) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT) is a broadband X-ray and γ-ray(1-3000 ke V) astronomy satellite. One of its three main telescopes is the High Energy X-ray telescope(HE). The main detector plane of HE comprises 18 Na I(Tl)/Cs I(Na) phoswich detectors, where Na I(Tl) is used as the primary detector to measure ~ 20-250 ke V photons incident from the field of view(FOV) defined by collimators, and Cs I(Na) is used as the active shielding detector to Na I(Tl) by pulse shape discrimination. Additionally, Cs I(Na) is used as an omnidirectional γ-ray monitor. The HE collimators have a diverse FOV,i.e. 1.1°×5.7°(15 units), 5.7°×5.7°(2 units), and blocked(1 unit). Therefore, the combined FOV of HE is approximately5.7°×5.7°. Each HE detector has a diameter of 190 mm resulting in a total geometrical area of approximately 5100 cm2, and the energy resolution is ~15% at 60 ke V. For each recorded X-ray event by HE, the timing accuracy is less than 10 μs and the deadtime is less than 10 μs. HE is used for observing spectra and temporal variability of X-ray sources in the 20-250 ke V band either by pointing observations for known sources or scanning observations to unveil new sources. Additionally, HE is used for monitoring the γ-ray burst in 0.2-3 Me V band. 5Heavy metal removal from aqueous solutions by chitosan-based magnetic composite flocculants显示文摘In this study,three magnetic flocculants with different chelating groups,namely,carboxymethyl chitosan-modified Fe_(3)O_(4)flocculant(MC),acrylamide-grafted magnetic carboxymethyl chitosan flocculant(MCM),and 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid copolyacrylamide-grafted magnetic carboxymethyl chitosan flocculant(MCAA)were prepared,synthesized,and characterized by photopolymerization technology.They were applied to the flocculation removal of Cr(Ⅲ),Co(Ⅱ),and Pb(Ⅱ).The effect of flocculation condition on the removal performance of Cr(Ⅲ),Co(Ⅱ),and Pb(Ⅱ)was studied.Characterization results show that the three magnetic carboxymethyl chitosan-based flocculants have been successfully prepared with good magnetic induction properties.Flocculation results show that the removal rates of MC,MCM,and MCAA on Cr(Ⅲ)are 51.79%,82.33%,and 91.42%,respectively,under the conditions of 80 mg/L flocculant,pH value of 6,reaction time of 1.5 hr,G value of 200 s^(-1),and precipitation magnetic field strength of 120 mT.The removal rates of Co(Ⅱ)by MC,MCM,and MCAA are 54.33%,84.99%,and 90.49%,respectively.The removal rates of Pb(Ⅱ)by MC,MCM,and MCAA are 61.54%,91.32%,and 95.74%,respectively.MCAA shows good flocculation performance in composite heavy metal-simulated wastewater.The magnetic carboxymethyl chitosan-based flocculant shows excellent flocculation performance in removing soluble heavy metals.This research provides guidance and ideas for the development of efficient and low-cost flocculation technology to remove heavy metals in wastewater.Xuefeng Xiao Yuanyuan Yu Yongjun Sun Xing Zheng Aowen Chen 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,10:9

7Effects of three kinds of head acupuncture therapies on regulation of brain microenvironment and rehabilitation of nerve function in rats with cerebral palsy显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To compare and observe the effects of three kinds of cephalic acupuncture therapies commonly used in the clinic on promoting nerve function rehabilitation in the brain microenvironment of rats with cerebral palsy.METHODS:A negative control group,positive control group,and three cephalic acupuncture groups based on the administration of three cephalic acupuncture therapies were established.Ten experimental rats were selected from each group at 1,2,and 3 weeks after modeling.Neuromotor function after treatment was rated according to the Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan method.White matter fiber bundles were evaluated by head diffusion tensor imaging.The expression levels of neuron-specific enolase,microtubule-associated protein 2,and myelin basic protein in the brain tissue extract were detected by Western blot analysis and the activities of ATPases were determined using a fixed phosphorus method.RESULTS:The pathological changes in brain tissue were restored and motor function scores were increased in the mice in each cephalic acupuncture group,and the expression of neuronal growth-related proteins in the brain tissue extract was significantly increased.Additionally,the activities of ATPases in the lesion area were significant enhanced(P<0.05).Diffusion tensor imaging revealed that the white matter fiber bundles of mice in each cephalic acupuncture group gradually increased and recovered.The nervous system structure was significantly improved.CONCLUSIONS:All three acupuncture methods promoted the rehabilitation of nerve function damaged by cerebral palsy.These effects are likely related to the improved expression of nerve growth-related proteins,enhancement of ATPase activities,and regulation of the brain microenvironment.WANG Zixuan FAN Xiangwei CHEN Kaiyun YU Xuefeng GAO Jing 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,2:8
8Aromatization over nanosized Ga-containing ZSM-5 zeolites prepared by different methods:Effect of acidity of active Ga species on the catalytic performance显示文摘Nanosized Ga-containing ZSM-5 zeolites were prepared via isomorphous substitution and impregnation followed by characterized using various techniques. The catalytic performance of the zeolites for the aromatization of 1-hexene was investigated. The results indicate that isomorphous substitution promotes the incorporation of Ga heteroatoms into the framework along with the formation of extra-framework GaO^+species([GaO^+]a) that have stronger interactions with the negative potential of the framework. In addition, based on the Py-IR results and catalytic performance, the [GaO^+]aspecies with stronger Lewis acid sites produced a better synergism with moderate Br?nsted acid sites and thus improved the selectivity to aromatic compounds. However, the impregnation results in the formation of Ga_2O_3 phase and small amounts of GaO^+species that are mainly located on the external surface([GaO^+]~b), which contribute to weaker Lewis acid sites due to weaker interactions with the zeolite framework. 9MOF-Derived Ni1-xCox@Carbon with Tunable Nano-Microstructure as Lightweight and Highly Efficient Electromagnetic Wave Absorber显示文摘Intrinsic electric-magnetic property and special nano-micro architecture of functional materials have a significant effect on its electromagnetic wave energy conversion,especially in the microwave absorption(MA) field.Herein,porous Ni1-xCox@Carbon composites derived from metal-organic framework(MOF)were successfully synthesized via solvothermal reaction and subsequent annealing treatments.Benefiting from the coordination,carbonized bimetallic Ni-Co-MOF maintained its initial skeleton and transformed into magnetic-carbon composites with tunable nano-micro structure.During the thermal decomposition,generated magnetic particles/clusters acted as a catalyst to promote the carbon sp^2 arrangement,forming special core-shell architecture.Therefore,pure Ni@C microspheres displayed strong MA behaviors than other Ni1-xCox@Carbon composites.Surprisingly,magnetic-dielectric Ni@C composites possessed the strongest reflection loss value-59.5 dB and the effective absorption frequency covered as wide as 4.7 GHz.Meanwhile,the MA capacity also can be boosted by adjusting the absorber content from 25% to 40%.Magnetic-dielectric synergy effect of MOF-derived Ni1-xCox@Carbon microspheres was confirmed by the off-axis electron holography technology making a thorough inquiry in the MA mechanism.Lei Wang Mengqiu Huang Xuefeng Yu Wenbin You Jie Zhang Xianhu Liu Min Wang Renchao Che 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,11:7

11FAT1, a direct transcriptional target of E2F1, suppresses cell proliferation, migration and invasion in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Objective: Growing evidence indicates that FAT atypical cadherin 1(FAT1) has aberrant genetic alterations and exhibits potential tumor suppressive function in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC). However, the role of FAT1 in ESCC tumorigenesis remains not well elucidated. The aim of this study was to further investigate genetic alterations and biological functions of FAT1, as well as to explore its transcriptional regulation and downstream targets in ESCC.Methods: The mutations of FAT1 in ESCC were achieved by analyzing a combined study from seven published genomic data, while the copy number variants of FAT1 were obtained from an analysis of our previous data as well as of The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA) and Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia(CCLE) databases using the cBioPortal. The transcriptional regulation of FAT1 expression was investigated by chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP) and the luciferase reporter assays. In-cell western, Western blot and reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR) were used to assess the indicated gene expression. In addition, colony formation and Transwell migration/invasion assays were employed to test cell proliferation, migration and invasion.Finally, RNA sequencing was used to study the transcriptomes.Results: FAT1 was frequently mutated in ESCC and was deleted in multiple cancers. Furthermore, the transcription factor E2 F1 occupied the promoter region of FAT1, and depletion of E2 F1 led to a decrease in transcription activity and mRNA levels of FAT1. Moreover, we found that knockdown of FAT1 promoted KYSE30 and KYSE150 cell proliferation, migration and invasion;while overexpression of FAT1 inhibited KYSE30 and KYSE410 cell proliferation, migration and invasion. 12A direct H2O2 production based on hollow porous carbon sphere-sulfur nanocrystal composites by confinement effect as oxygen reduction electrocatalysts显示文摘Carbon-sulfur composites have draw n in creasing interest in various fields including electrocatalysis because of their unique structures.However,carb on-sulfur composite with tiny sulfur nano crystals has still received little attention.Herein,hollow porous carb on sphere-sulfur composite(HPCS-S)which possesses excellent electrochemical performance towards H2O2 has been prepared for the first time via a simple silica template method.The 2-5 nm sulfur nan ocrystals being restricted in the cha nnel of the hollow porous carb on spheres are un der a strong compressive stress,which was further con firmed by high-resoluti on tran smissi on electr on microscopy(HRTEM)and GPA.The HPCS-S nano crystals show better con ductivity tha n amorphous sulfur clusters because of the reducti on of the steric hindrance which efficie ntly promotes the electron transportation.Consequently,the higher activity and selectivity towards the 2e^oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)to H2O2 in alkaline solution was obtained.The H2O2 selectivity rises from 20%to over 70%after the sulfur addition and the H2O2 production rate achieves 183.99 mmol-gcataiyst-1 with the Faradaic efficiency of 70%.Furthermore,performance enhancement mechanism was also investigated using the den sity functional theory(DFT)calculatio ns.After the in troduci ng of sulfur nano crystals,the appeara nee of S-S bond greatly decreases the overpotential compared with S-doping,which results in significant enhancement of the electrocatalytic property.Consequently,the HPCS-S can be an efficient H2O2 production electrocatalyst in alkaline solution.Guanyu Chen Jiwei Liu Qingqing Li Pengfei Guan Xuefeng Yu Linshen Xing Jie Zhang Renchao Che 2019Nano Research2019,12,10:6
13Microwave-assisted conversion of biomass wastes to pseudocapacitive mesoporous carbon for high-performance supercapacitor显示文摘Developing an efficient approach of transforming biomass waste to functional carbon-based electrode materials applied in supercapacitor offers an important and high value-added practical application due to the abundance and considerable low price of biomass wastes.Herein,a hierarchical carbon functionalized with electrochemical-active oxygen-containing groups was fabricated by microwave treatment from the biomass waste of camellia oleifera.The obtained mesoporous carbon(MAC)owns nanosheet morphology,rich mesoporosity,large surface area(1726 m2/g)and very high oxygenic functionalities(16.2 wt%)with pseudocapacitive activity.Prepared electrode of supercapacitor and tested in 2.0 M H2 SO4,the MAC exhibits an obvious pseudocapacitive activity and achieved a superior supercapacitive performance to that of directly activated carbon(DAC-800)including high specific capacitance(367 F/g vs.298 F/g)and better rate performance(66%vs.44%).The symmetrical supercapacitor based on MAC shows a high capacity of275 F/g,large energy density of 9.55 Wh/kg(at power density of 478 W/kg)and excellent cycling stability with 99%capacitance retention after 10000 continuous charge-discharge,endowing the obtained MAC a promising functional material for electrochemical energy storage.Xiangkun Bo Kun Xiang Yu Zhang Yu Shen Shanyong Chen Yongzheng Wang Mingjiang Xie Xuefeng Guo 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,12:6

15Compositions of aliphatic des-A-triterpenes in the Hani peat deposit,Northeast China and its biological significance显示文摘Aliphatic des-A-triterpenes,the degradation products of pentacyclic triterpenes have been tentatively assigned in samples taken from a 963-cm-thick peat sequence from the Hani region of Northeast China using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)in order to understand and identify these des-A-triterpenes response to climate and ecology.The study indicates that aliphatic des-A-triterpenes are abundant in the Hani peat bog.The high relative abundance of the total des-A-triterpenes mainly occurs at the Holocene periods and is corresponding to the low sedimentation rate.The mechanism of des-A-triterpenes accumulation is not consistent with the previous studies.It is proposed that the biological community is also one influence factor.The obvious stage variations of the total des-A-triterpenes in the whole sequence reveal the different biological(microbes and plants) processes and responses,possibly revealing the four large replacements of biological community and functional composition in the swamp environment over the 16000 cal a BP.The low total des-A-triterpenes values occur at about 10200,8700,7700,6600,4480-3940 and 3040 cal a BP,reflecting the multiple millennial micro-environment oscillations under the macro-environment of the swamp during the Holocene.The ratios of diene and monoene des-A-triterpenes(DT/MT),des-A-lupane and diene and monoene des-A-triterpenes(DL/(DT+MT)),ratios ofindividual compounds exhibit vertical opposite to the total des-A-triterpenes.
