| 1 | Identification of a novel coronavirus causing severe pneumonia in human:a descriptive study显示文摘Background:Human infections with zoonotic coronaviruses(CoVs),including severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)-CoV and Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS)-CoV,have raised great public health concern globally.Here,we report a novel batorigin CoV causing severe and fatal pneumonia in humans.Methods:We collected clinical data and bronchoalveolar lavage(BAL)specimens from five patients with severe pneumonia from Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital,Hubei province,China.Nucleic acids of the BAL were extracted and subjected to next-generation sequencing.Virus isolation was carried out,and maximum-likelihood phylogenetic trees were constructed.Results:Five patients hospitalized from December 18 to December 29,2019 presented with fever,cough,and dyspnea accompanied by complications of acute respiratory distress syndrome.Chest radiography revealed diffuse opacities and consolidation.One of these patients died.Sequence results revealed the presence of a previously unknownβ-CoV strain in all five patients,with 99.8%to 99.9%nucleotide identities among the isolates.These isolates showed 79.0%nucleotide identity with the sequence of SARS-CoV(GenBank NC_004718)and 51.8%identity with the sequence of MERS-CoV(GenBank NC_019843).The virus is phylogenetically closest to a bat SARS-like CoV(SL-ZC45,GenBank MG772933)with 87.6%to 87.7%nucleotide identity,but is in a separate clade.Moreover,these viruses have a single intact open reading frame gene 8,as a further indicator of bat-origin CoVs.However,the amino acid sequence of the tentative receptor-binding domain resembles that of SARS-CoV,indicating that these viruses might use the same receptor.Conclusion:A novel bat-borne CoV was identified that is associated with severe and fatal respiratory disease in humans. | Li-Li Ren Ye-Ming Wang Zhi-Qiang Wu Zi-Chun Xiang Li Guo Teng Xu Yong-Zhong Jiang Yan Xiong Yong-Jun Li Xing-Wang Li Hui Li Guo-Hui Fan Xiao-Ying Gu Yan Xiao Hong Gao Jiu-Yang Xu Fan Yang Xin-Ming Wang Chao Wu Lan Chen Yi-Wei Liu Bo Liu Jian Yang Xiao-Rui Wang Jie Dong Li Li Chao-Lin Huang Jian-Ping Zhao Yi Hu Zhen-Shun Cheng Un-Lin Liu Zhao-Hui Qian Chuan Qin Qi Jin Bin Cao Jian-Wei Wang | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020,,9: | 99 |

| 9 | Fields of applications,diagnostic yields and findings of OMOM capsule endoscopy in 2400 Chinese patients显示文摘AIM:To retrospectively analyze the fields of application,diagnostic yields and findings of OMOM capsule endoscopy in Chinese patients.METHODS:A database including 2400 Chinese patients who received OMOM capsule endoscopy in 27 endoscopy centers in China was retrieved from the Jianshan Science and Technology Ltd.OMOM capsule endoscopy database.The patient's age,gender,fields of application,the potentially relevant findings,pyloric transit time(PTT),small bowel transit time(SBTT),and complete small-bowel examination rate(CSER) were recorded and analyzed.RESULTS:Two thousand four hundred patients aged 9-91 years(mean,49 years),of whom 1510 were males(62.9%),underwent 2400 OMOM capsule endoscopy procedures.One thousand two hundred and thirty two(51.3%) were referred with obscure gastrointestinal bleeding(OGIB),642(26.8%) with abdominal pain,and 223(9.3%) with chronic diarrhea.The overall diagnostic yield was 47.7%(1144/2400).The diagnostic yield of OMOM capsule endoscopy in OGIB subgroup was much higher than in the non-OGIB subgroup(62.4% vs 32.1%,P<0.001).The most common findings of the small bowel in Chinese patients with OGIB were arteriovenous malformation(28.1%) and tumors(18.9%).There was no significant difference in the diagnostic yield between the male and female patients with OGIB.However,the diagnostic yield in patients aged more than 60 was higher than in patients aged less than 60(69.8% vs 58.9%,P<0.001).The median PTT was 41 min(range:1-544 min) and the mean SBTT was 247.2 ± 88.9 min.The overall CSER was 86.8%.CONCLUSION:The OMOM capsule endoscopy is a valuable tool for small bowel evaluation with good overall diagnostic yield and CSER. | Liao, Zhuan Gao, Rui Li, Feng Xu, Can Zhou, Yi Wang, Jin-Shan Li, Zhao-Shen | 2010 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2010,16,21: | 35 |

| 11 | Ultrafast epitaxial growth of metre-sized single-crystal graphene on industrial Cu foil显示文摘A foundation of the modern technology that uses single-crystal silicon has been the growth of highquality single-crystal Si ingots with diameters up to 12 inches or larger. For many applications of graphene, large-area high-quality(ideally of single-crystal) material will be enabling. Since the first growth on copper foil a decade ago, inch-sized single-crystal graphene has been achieved. We present here the growth, in 20 min, of a graphene film of(5 ×50) cm^2 dimension with >99% ultra-highly oriented grains.This growth was achieved by:(1) synthesis of metre-sized single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) foil as substrate;(2)epitaxial growth of graphene islands on the Cu(1 1 1) surface;(3) seamless merging of such graphene islands into a graphene film with high single crystallinity and(4) the ultrafast growth of graphene film.These achievements were realized by a temperature-gradient-driven annealing technique to produce single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) from industrial polycrystalline Cu foil and the marvellous effects of a continuous oxygen supply from an adjacent oxide. The as-synthesized graphene film, with very few misoriented grains(if any), has a mobility up to ~23,000 cm^2 V^(-1)s^(-1)at 4 K and room temperature sheet resistance of ~230 Ω/□. | 12 | The Serum Exosome Derived MicroRNA-135a,-193b, and-384 Were Potential Alzheimer's Disease Biomarkers显示文摘Objective MicroR NAs(mi Rs) are attractive molecules to be considered as one of the blood-based biomarkers for neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease(AD). The goal of this study was to explore their potential value as biomarkers for the diagnosis of AD. Methods The expression levels of exosomal miR-135 a,-193 b, and-384 in the serum from mild cognitive impairment(MCI), dementia of Alzheimer-type(DAT), Parkinson's disease with dementia(PDD), and vascular dementia(VaD) patients were measured with a real-time quantitative reverse transcriptase PCR(qR T-PCR) method. Results Both serum exosome mi R-135 a and miR-384 were up-regulated while miR-193 b was down-regulated in serum of AD patients compared with that of normal controls. Exosome miR-384 was the best among the three miR s to discriminate AD, VaD, and PDD. Using the cut-off value could better interpret these laboratory test results than reference intervals in the AD diagnosis. ROC curve showed that the combination of mi R-135 a,-193 b, and-384 was proved to be better than a particular one for early AD diagnosis. | 14 | Crust-mantle coupling in North China:Preliminary analysis from seismic anisotropy显示文摘Data from the CASN(Capital Area Seismograph Network),NSNC(National Seismograph Network of China),and IRIS(Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology) are compared with data from a temporary North China Seismic Array to obtain the background orientation of the horizontal crustal principal compressive stress at NE 95.1°±15.4° in North China.Data are corrected for disturbances of faults and irregular tectonics,and are used to constrain the fast SKS polarization at NE 110.2°±15.8° in North China.Individual station analyses suggests that there is consistently more than 10° difference between the polarizations of fast shear-wave in the crust and those of fast SKS phases.Azimuthally anisotropic phase velocities of Rayleigh waves at different periods also indicate an orientation change for fast velocity with depth.It suggests the crust-mantle coupling in North China follows neither the simple decoupling model nor the strong coupling model.Instead,it is possibly some inhomogeneous combination of two models or some gradual-change model of physical characteristics.This study shows that anisotropy in the crust and mantle could be multiply characterized more correctly and crust-mantle coupling could be analyzed further,if increasing near-field shear-wave splitting data that indicate crustal anisotropy,combined with the azimuthal anisotropy of Rayleigh waves,besides the result of SKS splitting travelling through lithosphere and surface GPS measurements. | GAO Yuan WU Jing YI GuiXi SHI YuTao | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,31: | 34 |

| 17 | Optimization design and test of rice plug seedling transplanting mechanism of planetary gear train with incomplete eccentric circular gear and non-circular gears显示文摘In order to solve the problem of the high-speed mechanized transplanting of rice plug seedlings,the design requirements of transplanting mechanism for rice plug seedlings were analyzed and a kind of rice plug seedling transplanting mechanism of planetary gear train based on the drive with incomplete eccentric circular gear and non-circular gears was designed innovatively.The laboratory kinematics was examined.The working principle of the transplanting mechanism for rice plug seedlings was studied,kinematics analysis of the transplanting mechanism was carried out and its kinematic model was set up.A human-computer interaction optimization method was used to optimize the parameters of the transplanting mechanism.The computer aided analysis and optimization software of the transplanting mechanism based on Visual Basic 6.0 was developed.Through analyzing the influence of design variables on the optimization objectives of the transplanting mechanism,a set of parameters of the transplanting mechanism which meet the requirements of transplanting trajectory and posture for transplanting rice seedlings were obtained by means of human-computer interaction.The structure of the transplanting mechanism was designed according to this set of parameters,and its virtual prototype and physical prototype were set up and manufactured,respectively.The kinematic simulation test and high-speed photography kinematic test of the transplanting mechanism were conducted to obtain its kinematic performances,such as transplanting trajectory and posture.The results of bench test,simulation analysis and theoretical analysis were almost in agreement,which verified the correctness of the theoretical model and design results of the transplanting mechanism,indicating that the optimized transplanting mechanism can satisfy the requirements of transplanting rice seedlings and be applied in the rice plug seedling transplanter. | Ye Bingliang Yi Weiming Yu Gaohong Gao Yang Zhao Xiong | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,6: | 31 |
| 18 | Efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 therapeutic antibody RC48 in patients with HER2-overexpressing,locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer:a single-arm phase II study显示文摘Background:Current treatment options for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-overexpressing gastric cancer at third-line have shown limited clinical benefit.Further,there is no specific treatment for HER2 immunohistochemistry(IHC)2+and fluorescence in-situ hybridization-negative patients.Here,we report the efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 antibody RC48 for patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer.Methods:Patients with HER2-overexpressing(IHC 2+or 3+),locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who were under at least second-line therapy were eligible and received RC482.5 mg/kg alone every 2 weeks.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR)assessed by an independent review committee.Secondary endpoints included progressionfree survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),duration of response,time to progression,disease control rate,and safety.Results:Of 179 patients screened,125 were eligible and received RC48 treatment.The ORR was 24.8%(95%confidence interval[CI]:17.5%-33.3%).The median PFS and OS were 4.1 months(95%CI:3.7-4.9 months)and 7.9 months(95%CI:6.7-9.9 months),respectively.The most frequently reported adverse events were decreased white blood cell count(53.6%),asthenia(53.6%),hair loss(53.6%),decreased neutrophil count(52.0%),anemia(49.6%),and increased aspartate aminotransferase level(43.2%).Serious adverse events(SAEs)occurred in 45(36.0%)patients,and RC48-related SAEs were mainly decreased neutrophil count(3.2%).Seven patients had adverse events that led to death were not RC48-related.Conclusions:RC48 showed promising activity with manageable safety,suggesting potential application in patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who have previously received at least two lines of chemotherapy. | Zhi Peng Tianshu Liu Jia Wei Airong Wang Yifu He Liuzhong Yang Xizhi Zhang Nanfeng Fan Suxia Luo Zhen Li Kangsheng Gu Jianwei Lu Jianming Xu Qingxia Fan Ruihua Xu Liangming Zhang Enxiao Li Yuping Sun Guohua Yu Chunmei Bai Yong Liu Jiangzheng Zeng Jieer Ying Xinjun Liang Nong Xu Chao Gao Yongqian Shu Dong Ma Guanghai Dai Shengmian Li Ting Deng Yuehong Cui Jianmin Fang Yi Ba Lin Shen | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,11: | 29 |

| 20 | Single-incision vs three-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy:Prospective randomized study显示文摘AIM:To compare the clinical outcome of single-inci-sion laparoscopic cholecystectomy(SILC)with threeport laparoscopic cholecystectomy(TPLC). METHODS:Between 2009 and 2011,one hundred and two patients with symptomatic benign gallbladder diseases were randomized to SILC(n=49)or TPLC (n=53).The primary end point was post operative pain score(at 6 h and 7 d).Secondary end points were blood loss,operation duration,overall complications,postoperative analgesic requirements,length of hospital stay,cosmetic result and total cost.Surgical techniques were standardized and all operations were performed by one experienced surgeon,who had performed more than 500 laparoscopic cholecystectomies. RESULTS:One patient in the SILC group required conversion to two-port LC.There were no open conversions or major complications in either treatment groups.There were no differences in terms of esti-mated blood loss(mean±SD,14±6.0 mL vs 15±4.0 mL),operation duration(mean±SD,41.8±17.0 min vs 38.5±22.0 min),port-site complications(contusion at incision:5 cases vs 4 cases and hematoma at inci- sion:2 cases vs 1 case),total cost(mean±SD,12 075 ±1047 RMB vs 11 982±1153 RMB)and hospital stay (mean±SD,1.0±0.5 d vs 1.0±0.2 d),respectively. TPLC had a significantly worse visual analogue pain score at 8 h after surgery(mean±SD,3.5±1.6 vs 2.0 ±1.5),however,the scores were similar on day 7(mean ±SD,2.5±1.4 vs 2.0±1.3).Cosmetic satisfaction, as determined by a survey at 2 mo follow-up favored SILC(mean±SD,8±0.4 vs 6±0.2).
