1Ultrafast epitaxial growth of metre-sized single-crystal graphene on industrial Cu foil显示文摘A foundation of the modern technology that uses single-crystal silicon has been the growth of highquality single-crystal Si ingots with diameters up to 12 inches or larger. For many applications of graphene, large-area high-quality(ideally of single-crystal) material will be enabling. Since the first growth on copper foil a decade ago, inch-sized single-crystal graphene has been achieved. We present here the growth, in 20 min, of a graphene film of(5 ×50) cm^2 dimension with >99% ultra-highly oriented grains.This growth was achieved by:(1) synthesis of metre-sized single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) foil as substrate;(2)epitaxial growth of graphene islands on the Cu(1 1 1) surface;(3) seamless merging of such graphene islands into a graphene film with high single crystallinity and(4) the ultrafast growth of graphene film.These achievements were realized by a temperature-gradient-driven annealing technique to produce single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) from industrial polycrystalline Cu foil and the marvellous effects of a continuous oxygen supply from an adjacent oxide. The as-synthesized graphene film, with very few misoriented grains(if any), has a mobility up to ~23,000 cm^2 V^(-1)s^(-1)at 4 K and room temperature sheet resistance of ~230 Ω/□. 2Zeolite A synthesized from alkaline assisted pre-activated halloysite for efficient heavy metal removal in polluted river water and industrial wastewater显示文摘High quality zeolite A was synthesized through a hydrothermal process using alkalineassisted pre-activated halloysite mineral as the alumina and silica source. The synthesis conditions employed in this study were finely tuned by varying the activating temperature,sodium hydroxide content, water content and Si/Al ratio. The obtained zeolite A showed excellent adsorption properties for both single metal cation solutions and mixed cation solutions when the concentrations of the mixed cations were comparable with those in polluted natural river water and industrial wastewater. High adsorptive capacities for Ag^+(123.05 mg/g) and Pb^(2+)(227.70 mg/g) were achieved using the synthesized zeolite A. 3V_2O_5·nH_2O nanosheets and multi-walled carbon nanotube composite as a negative electrode for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Two dimensional(2D) transition metal oxides and chalcogenides demonstrate a promising performance in sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) application. In this study, we investigated the use of a composite of freeze dried V_2O_5·nH_2O nanosheets and multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNT) as a negative electrode material for SIBs. Cyclic voltammetry(CV) results indicated that a reversible sodium-ion insertion/deinsertion into the composite electrode can be obtained in the potential window of 0.1–2.5 V vs. Na^+/Na. The composite electrodes delivered sodium storage capacities of 140 and 45 m Ah g^(-1) under applied current densities of 20 and 100 m A g^(-1), respectively. The pause test during constant current measurement showed a raise in the open circuit potential(OCP) of about 0.46 V, and a charge capacity loss of ~10%. These values are comparable with those reported for hard carbon electrodes. For comparison, electrodes of freeze dried V_2O_5·nH_2O nanosheets were prepared and tested for SIBs application. 4CsPb(I_(x)Br_(1-x))_(3) solar cells显示文摘Owing to its nice performance, low cost, and simple solution-processing, organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cell(PSC) becomes a promising candidate for next-generation high-efficiency solar cells.The power conversion efficiency(PCE) has boosted from 3.8% to 25.2% over the past ten years. Despite the rapid progress in PCE, the device stability is a key issue that impedes the commercialization of PSCs. Recently, all-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites have attracted much attention due to their better stability compared with their organic-inorganic counterpart. In this progress report, we summarize the properties of CsPb(IxBr1-x)3 and their applications in solar cells. The current challenges and corresponding solutions are discussed. 5Genomic evidence of lung carcinogenesis associated with coal smoke in Xuanwei area, China显示文摘Xuanwei area, in southwestern China,harbors the highest female lung cancer rate in the country(Supplementary Table 1) [1]. 6Undulated 2D Covalent Organic Frameworks Based on Bowl-Shaped Cyclotricatechylene显示文摘Two 2D wavy hexagonal hexahydroxyl cyclotricatechylene (CTC) based COFs, CTC-COF-2 and CTC-COF-3were synthesized through solvothermal reaction. The bowl-shaped conformation caused CTC skeletons packed in acolumnar manner with the same oriented units, thus forming an undulated structure. 12Hybrid C8-BTBT/In GaAs nanowire heterojunction for artificial photosynaptic transistors显示文摘The emergence of light-tunable synaptic transistors provides opportunities to break through the von Neumann bottleneck and enable neuromorphic computing.Herein,a multifunctional synaptic transistor is constructed by using 2,7-dioctyl[1]benzothieno[3,2-b][1]benzothiophene(C8-BTBT)and indium gallium arsenide(InGaAs)nanowires(NWs)hybrid heterojunction thin film as the active layer.Under illumination,the Type-I C8-BTBT/InGaAs NWs heterojunction would make the dissociated photogenerated excitons more difficult to recombine.The persistent photoconductivity caused by charge trapping can then be used to mimic photosynaptic behaviors,including excitatory postsynaptic current,long/short-term memory and Pavlovian learning.Furthermore,a high classification accuracy of 89.72%can be achieved through the single-layer-perceptron hardware-based neural network built from C8-BTBT/InGaAs NWs synaptic transistors.Thus,this work could provide new insights into the fabrication of high-performance optoelectronic synaptic devices.Yiling Nie Pengshan Xie Xu Chen Chenxing Jin Wanrong Liu Xiaofang Shi Yunchao Xu Yongyi Peng Johnny C.Ho Jia Sun Junliang Yang 2022Journal of Semiconductors2022,43,11:1
13Volcanic relationship between wettability of the interface and water migration rate in solar steam generation systems显示文摘Capturing solar energy as heat for water treatment has become a substantial approach to obtain freshwater.To obtain higher performance,the understanding of the mechanism of how water molecules interact with the interface is particularly fundamental,because the migration process of water molecules on the evaporation interface will directly affect the performance of the device.Herein we regulate the number of hydroxyl groups on the surface of reduced graphene oxide quantitatively,to study the effect of different wettability of interfaces on the performance of solar water generators.The water evaporation performance displays a volcanic shape as increasing wettability.Calculated by the computational chemistry method,deviation from proper wetting humidity is not conducive to the migration of water molecules from the surface.The double-edged sword effect of wettability on performances is clarified,and the surface energy density is the key to break through the limit by the finite element method.Qiang Fu Xiaojuan Li Ning Ma Dier Shi Pohua Chen Junliang Sun 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1
14Crystal structure and optical performance analysis of a new type of persistent luminescence material with multi-functional application prospects显示文摘Persistent luminescence (PersL) materials,as environmentally friendly and energy-saving materials,have broad application prospects in many fields such as lighting,chemistry and even biomedicine.However,studies on the types,performances and mechanism of PersL materials are still insufficient,which significantly restricts their development and application.Under this consideration,we successfully synthesized a yellow PersL material CaSrGa_(4)O_(8)(CSG).The crystal structure was studied in detail through Rotation Electron Diffraction (RED) and Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD).What’s more,by co-doping Mn^(2+) and Yb^(3+),the afterglow brightness of CSG could be increased by nearly 20 times,and the afterglow duration could reach more than 6 h.It is worth mentioning that the samples also have excellent performances in mechanical luminescence (ML),photostimulated luminescence (PSL) and cathodoluminescence (CL),which was also investigated systematically.Finally,an anti-counterfeiting label was designed by the samples to reveal the potential of their application in anti-counterfeiting.The results showed that our research not only provided a new candidate PersL material for multifunctional applications,but also gave good help for studying the physical and chemical properties of CSG.Songsong Ding Pohua Chen Haijie Guo Peng Feng Yunpeng Zhou Yuhua Wang Junliang Sun 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6:1

16Paleomagnetic constraints on Paleogene-Neogene rotation and paleo-stress in the northern Qaidam Basin显示文摘Knowing the rotation and paleo-stress history in Qaidam Basin is a fundamental parameter to quantify the mechanism of intracontinental deformation in Tibetan Plateau.However,few studies have been conducted on tectonic rotation and stress evolution over long timescales in the Qaidam Basin.Here,we report new magnetic declination and the anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility(AMS)from a~52–7 Ma sequence of fluvial and lacustrine sediments in the Dahonggou(DHG)section in the northern Qaidam Basin.The magnetic declination revealed that the northern Qaidam Basin underwent a clockwise rotation 25.1°±8.6°during~33–17 Ma,followed by a counterclockwise rotation 16.9°±6.8°during~17–13.5 Ma.The AMS results showed that the“earliest deformation”fabrics were interrupted by the“pencil structure”fabrics in the intervals of~52–45 and~21–15 Ma.The interruption,synchronous with the marked deceleration of the India-Asia convergence rate,indicates pulse of strong tectonic compressive stress.In addition,the AMS results documented a transition in stress direction from S-N to SW-NE at~15 Ma,suggesting a kinematic shift in the northeastern TP.Our constraints on the rotation and stress from the northern Qaidam Basin support the two-stage evolution of the Altyn Tagh Fault(ATF).The fast-rate slip motion on the ATF during the early Oligocene caused the clockwise rotation in the northern Qaidam Basin;the second stage with enhanced thrusting since the middle Miocene caused extensive crustal shortening and dispersive NW-trending folds and faults in the Qaidam Basin and the northeastern TP.Ling SUN Junliang JI Bingshuai LI Xingbo LI Wujun WU Kexin ZHANG 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,12:1
