| 2 | Influence of submerged entry nozzle clogging on the behavior of molten steel in continuously cast slab molds显示文摘The influence of submerged entry nozzle clogging on the behavior of molten steel in continuously cast slab molds was studied using commercial code CFX4.3. The results indicate that clogging at the top part of the nozzle port not only increases the velocity of molten steel, but also enhances the wall shear stress, F number and heat flux. This clogging has the greatest effect on the behavior of molten steel. However, clogging at the top 1/3 of the nozzle only increases the velocity of molten steel and has little influence. | 4 | Strain in solidifying shell of continuous casting slabs显示文摘Two-dimension unsteady heat transfer model was applied to obtain the surface temperature and the shell thickness of continuous casting slabs during the process of solidification. On the basis of which, the mathematical model of strain at the interface of solid and liquid steel was set up. Through which, the strain in the solidifying shell under normal and abnormal operation conditions was gained. The results indicate that the strain is small under the normal operation conditions and the internal crack never happens.However, when the variation of the roll gap is above 2 mm, the strain caused by which is greater than that caused by bulging. Furthermore, the total strain exceeds the critical one and the internal crack is the result. Herein, a novel linear o-phenanthroline-based polymer L-PRL was prepared via chemical oxidative polymerization for the adsorption of Ag(Ⅰ). The maximum adsorption capacity for Ag(Ⅰ) by L-PRL is 325.8 mg/g at pH 0. In addition, L-PRL owes ascendant selectivity for Ag(Ⅰ) from aqueous solutions containing various interfering metal ions of Pb(Ⅱ), Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ), Cd(Ⅱ)and Fe(Ⅲ). Multiple characterizations of FT-IR and XPS uncover that the N groups on L-PRL act as adsorption sites to coordinate with Ag(Ⅰ). Density functional theory(DFT) calculations further evidence the mechanism that L-PRL is provided with the admirable adsorptivity and selectivity for Ag(Ⅰ). It is mainly attributed to the most stable complexes of L-PRL with Ag(Ⅰ), which possesses shortest Ag-N bond length compared with other heavy metal ions. Furthermore, 93.5% of initial adsorption capacity is reserved after four continuous regeneration cycles, indicating that L-PRL is equipped with superior recyclability and durability, and L-PRL is capable of removing Ag(Ⅰ) in low-concentration actual Ag(Ⅰ)-containing wastewater completely. | 18 | A new photolabeling probe for efficient enrichment and deep profiling of cell surface membrane proteome by mass spectrometry显示文摘The cell surface membrane proteome is a class of proteins encoded by ~25% of all protein-coding genes in living organisms and plays a key role in mediating communication between the cells and their surrounding environment. However, most cell surface membrane proteins(CSMPs) are naturally expressed at very low levels compared with intracellular proteins. The difficulties in their purification with high specificity further hinder the understanding of their structure and function. In this study, we developed a new photolabeling probe to achieve efficient tagging and facile enrichment of the CSMPs. The probe is composed of a lipid tail for cell surface localization, a polyethylene glycol(PEG) spacer for increased water solubility, two 4-(N-maleimido)benzophenone(MBP) groups for UV-active tagging of the CSMPs, and a biotin tag for subsequent isolation. Application of this photolabeling probe resulted in the successful enrichment and identification of 3098 annotated CSMPs in HT22 cells with close to 70% selectivity.
