| 1 | The approach to calculate the aerodynamic drag of maglev train in the evacuated tube显示文摘In order to study the relationships between the aerodynamic drag of maglev and other factors in the evacuated tube,the formula of aerodynamic drag was deduced based on the basic equations of aerodynamics and then the calculated result was confirmed at a low speed on an experimental system developed by Superconductivity and New Energy R&D Center of South Jiaotong University.With regard to this system a high temperature superconducting magnetic levitation vehicle was motivated by a linear induction motor(LIM) fixed on the permanent magnetic guideway.When the vehicle reached an expected speed,the LIM was stopped.Then the damped speed was recorded and used to calculate the experimental drag.The two results show the approximately same relationship between the aerodynamic drag on the maglev and the other factors such as the pressure in the tube,the velocity of the maglev and the blockage ratio.Thus,the pressure,the velocity,and the blockage ratio are viewed as the three important factors that contribute to the energy loss in the evacuated tube transportation. | Jiaqing Ma Dajing Zhou Lifeng Zhao Yong Zhang Yong Zhao | 2013 | Journal of Modern Transportation2013,21,3: | 10 |

| 3 | Peptide fraction from sturgeon muscle by pepsin hydrolysis exerts anti-inflammatory effects in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages via MAPK and NF-κB pathways显示文摘Previous studies have suggested that polypeptides extracted from milk, soybean, fish, eggs, and meat possess potential anti-inflammatory effects. To date, few studies have reported the anti-inflammatory function of sturgeon peptides and their underlying mechanisms are unknown. The current study was therefore to determine the anti-inflammatory potential of sturgeon peptides with lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced RAW264.7 inflammatory model. Pepsin hydrolysate (PeH) was purified by ultrafiltration and Sephadex G-15 gel filtration chromatography. PeH significantly reduced the inflammatory mediator (NO) and inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-α and IL-1β) expression in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, the purified sturgeon peptide (F2) possessed strong antioxidant potential and effectively inhibited DPPH and ABTS free radicals. | 4 | Ticagrelor inhibits the NLRP3 inflammasome to protect against inflammatory disease independent of the P2Y_(12 ) signaling pathway显示文摘Ticagrelor is the first reversibly binding oralP2Y_(12) receptor antagonist to inhibit platelet activation and has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of coronary artery disease. At present, the other pharmacological functions of ticagrelor remain poorly understood. The NOD-, LRR-, and pyrin domain-containing protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome plays a critical role in the innate immune system, but its excessive activation also contributes to the pathogenesis of complex diseases. In this study, we systematically examined the effects of ticagrelor on the NLRP3 inflammasome and found that ticagrelor inhibits NLRP3 inflammasome activation in macrophages independent of its classic inhibitory effect on theP2Y_(12) signaling pathway. Further mechanistic studies demonstrate that ticagrelor attenuates the oligomerization of apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD (ASC) by blocking chloride efflux, an effect achieved through the degradation of chloride intracellular channel proteins (CLICs) and blockade of the translocation of CLICs to the plasma membrane. Moreover, experiments on lipopolysaccharide-induced sepsis and alum-induced peritonitis in mice confirmed that ticagrelor mitigates the severity of systemic inflammation independent ofP2Y_(12) receptor antagonism. Importantly, oral administration of ticagrelor rapidly and strongly inhibited NLRP3 inflammasome activation in peripheral blood mononuclear cells from patients with acute coronary syndrome. | 5 | Assessing the relative role of climate change and human activities in desertification of North China from 1981 to 2010显示文摘Desertification is a severe environmental problem induced by both climate change and human activities.This study assessed the relative contribution of climate change,human activities,and different climatic and anthropogenic factors in desertification reversion and expansion of North China from 1981 to 2010.The results showed that the desertification of North China had changed significantly over the past 30 years;desertification reversion and expansion covered an area of 750,464 km^2, and the spatial distribution of these regions exhibited considerable heterogeneity.For desertification reversion, climate change and human activity accounted for 22.6% and 26%,respectively of total reverted land.Wind speed reduction and the improvement ofhydrothermal conditions were the most important climatic factors for desertification reversion in the arid region of Northwest China (ARNC) and the Three-River Headwaters region (TRHR),and the reduction in grassland use intensity was the most important anthropogenic factor related to desertification reversion in Inner Mongolia and regions along the Great Wall (IMGW). | 6 | Integrated design of topology and material for composite morphing trailing edge based compliant mechanism显示文摘The morphing trailing edge based compliant mechanism is a developing technology which can increase lift-drag ratio for variable flight modes by bending down the trailing edge.Composite material design is integrated into topology optimization for the morphing trailing edge based compliant mechanism in the paper.A two-step optimization strategy is established to solve the integrated design problem.Initially,lamination parameters are introduced and viewed as a bridge between structure stiffness and fiber angles for composite material.Design variables include the lamination parameters and element density.The least-squares between actual and desired displacements at output points along trailing edge is adopted to evaluate the deformed capability of the trailing edge.An integrated optimization model for the composite morphing trailing edge is established with the volume constraints.The optimal topologic shape and lamination parameters are initially obtained.Subsequently,a least-squares optimization between fiber angles and the optimal lamination parameters is implemented to obtain optimal fiber angles.Finally,morphing capability of composites trailing edge based compliant mechanism is investigated by simulation and experiments.The results indicate the composites trailing edge based compliant mechanism can approximately bend down 8 degrees and satisfies the design requirement. | Xinxing TONG Wenjie GE Zhenyi YUAN Dajing GAO Xinqin GAO | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,5: | 2 |
| 7 | The time and space characteristics of magnetomotive force in the cascaded linear induction motor显示文摘To choose a reasonable mode of three-phase winding for the improvement of the operating efficiency of cascaded linear induction motor,the time and space characteristics of magnetomotive force were investigated.The ideal model of the cascaded linear induction motor was built,in which the B and C-phase windings are respectively separated from the A-phase winding by a distance of d and e slots pitch and not overlapped.By changing the values of d and e from 1 to 5,we can obtain 20 different modes of three-phase winding with the different combinations of d and e.Then,the air-gap magnetomotive forces of A-,B-,and C-phase windings were calculated by the magnetomotive force theory.According to the transient superposition of magnetomotive forces of A-,B-,and C-phase windings,the theoretical and simulated synthetic fundamental magnetomotive forces under 20 different arrangement modes were obtained.The results show that the synthetic magnetomotive force with d = 2 and e = 4 is close to forward sinusoidal traveling wave and the synthetic magnetomotive force with d = 4 and e = 2 is close to backward sinusoidal traveling wave,and their amplitudes and wave velocities are approximately constant and equal.In both cases,the motor could work normally with a high efficiency,but under other 18 arrangement modes(d = 1,e = 2;d = 1,e = 3;d = 1,e = 4;…),the synthetic magnetomotive force presents obvious pulse vibration and moves with variable velocity,which means that the motor did not work normally and had high energy loss. | Dajing Zhou Jiaqing Ma Lifeng Zhao Xiao Wan Yong Zhang Yong Zhao | 2013 | Journal of Modern Transportation2013,21,3: | 2 |
