2Transplantation of neurotrophin-3-transfected bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells for the repair of spinal cord injury显示文摘Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation has been shown to be therapeutic in the repair of spinal cord injury. However, the low survival rate of transplanted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in vivo remains a problem. Neurotrophin-3 promotes motor neuron survival and it is hypothesized that its transfection can enhance the therapeutic effect. We show that in vitro transfection of neurotrophin-3 gene increases the number of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in the region of spinal cord injury. 4Research on key techniques of expendable conductivity temperature depth measuring system显示文摘This paper analysis the developing of expendable conductivity temperature depth measuring system(XCTD)and introduce its principle of measuring about temperature,salinity and depth of ocean.Some key techniques are put forward.According to the real needs of XCTD,conductivity sensor with high sensitivity is designed by principle of electromagnetic induce,the ocean conductivity from induced electromotive force has been calculated.Adding temperature correction circuit would help to reduce error of conductivity measurement because of sharply changing temperature.Advanced temperature measuring circuit of high precision and the constant current source is used to weaken effect of self-heating of resistance and fluctuation of the source.On respect of remote data transmission,LVDS is a good choice for the purpose of guarantee the quality of data transmitted and the transmission distance is reaching to thousand meters in the seawater.Modular programming method is also brought into this research aimed at improve the stability,reliability and maintainability of the whole measuring system.In February,2015,the trials in South China Sea demonstrate that the developed XCTD realize effective measurement at a speed of 6 knots and detection depth at 800 m.The consistency coefficient of the acquired data is greater than 0.99 and the success rate of probe launching is above 90%.CHEN Guangyuan DU Libin HE Haijing LEI Zhuo ZHANG Qisheng WU Chengxuan 2015Instrumentation2015,2,2:5
5PCN-Fe(Ⅲ)-PTX nanoparticles for MRI guided high efficiency chemo-photodynamic therapy in pancreatic cancer through alleviating tumor hypoxia显示文摘As nanomedicine-based clinical strategies have continued to develop,the possibility of combining chemotherapy and singlet oxygen-dependent photodynamic therapy(PDT)to treat pancreatic cancer(PaC)has emerged as a viable therapeutic modality.The efficacy of such an approach,however,is likely to be constrained by the mechanisms of drug release and tumor oxygen levels.In the present study,we developed an Fe(Ⅲ)-complexed porous coordination network(PCN)which we then used to encapsulate PTX(PCN-Fe(Ⅲ)-PTX)nanoparticles(NPs)in order to treat PaC via a combination of chemotherapy and PDT.The resultant NPs were able to release drug in response to both laser irradiation and pH changes to promote drug accumulation within tumors.Furthermore,through a Fe(Ⅲ)-based Fenton-like reaction these NPs were able to convert H2O2 in the tumor site to O2,thereby regulating local hypoxic conditions and enhancing the efficacy of PDT approaches.Also these NPs were suitable for use as a T1-MRI weighted contrast agent,making them viable for monitoring therapeutic efficacy upon treatment.Our results in both cell line and animal models of PaC suggest that these NPs represent an ideal agent for mediating effective MRI-guided chemotherapy-PDT,giving them great promise for the clinical treatment of PaC.Tao Zhang Zhenqi Jiang Libin Chen Chunshu Pan Shan Sun Chuang Liu Zihou Li Wenzhi Ren Aiguo Wu Pintong Huang 2020Nano Research2020,13,1:4
6Abrogation of Hn RNP L enhances anti-PD-1 therapy efficacy via diminishing PD-L1 and promoting CD8^(+) T cell-mediated ferroptosis in castration-resistant prostate cancer显示文摘Owing to incurable castration-resistant prostate cancer(CRPC)ultimately developing after treating with androgen deprivation therapy(ADT),it is vital to devise new therapeutic strategies to treat CRPC.Treatments that target programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)and programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1)have been approved for human cancers with clinical benefit.However,many patients,especially prostate cancer,fail to respond to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 treatment,so it is an urgent need to seek a support strategy for improving the traditional PD-1/PD-L1 targeting immunotherapy.In the present study,analyzing the data from our prostate cancer tissue microarray,we found that PD-L1 expression was positively correlated with the expression of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L(Hn RNP L).Hence,we further investigated the potential role of Hn RNP L on the PD-L1 expression,the sensitivity of cancer cells to T-cell killing and the synergistic effect with anti-PD-1 therapy in CRPC.Indeed,Hn RNP L knockdown effectively decreased PD-L1 expression and recovered the sensitivity of cancer cells to T-cell killing in vitro and in vivo,on the contrary,Hn RNP L overexpression led to the opposite effect in CRPC cells.In addition,consistent with the previous study,we revealed that ferroptosis played a critical role in T-cell-induced cancer cell death,and Hn RNP L promoted the cancer immune escape partly through targeting YY1/PD-L1 axis and inhibiting ferroptosis in CRPC cells.Furthermore,Hn RNP L knockdown enhanced antitumor immunity by recruiting infiltrating CD8^(+)T cells and synergized with anti-PD-1 therapy in CRPC tumors.This study provided biological evidence that Hn RNP L knockdown might be a novel therapeutic agent in PD-L1/PD-1 blockade strategy that enhanced anti-tumor immune response in CRPC.Xumin Zhou Libin Zou Hangyu Liao Junqi Luo Taowei Yang Jun Wu Wenbin Chen Kaihui Wu Shengren Cen Daojun Lv Fangpeng Shu Yu Yang Chun Li Bingkun Li Xiangming Mao 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2:4

8Low carbon storage of woody debris in a karst forest in southwestern China显示文摘The properties of woody debris(WD) vary across different forests under various soil conditions.Owing to the relatively shallow and low amounts of soils on karst terrains, it is necessary to determine the WD carbon inventory of karst forests. In this study, we recorded WD with a basal diameter for standing snags and the largeend diameter for fallen logs of ≥ 1 cm. The carbon density of WD in a secondary karst mixed evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved forest that had been clear-cut 55 years ago in southwestern China were inventoried in a 2 ha plot. Woody debris carbon density calculated using specific gravity and carbon concentration was 4.07 Mg C ha^-1. Woody debris with diameters ≥ 10 cm(coarse WD) constituted 53.8% of total carbon storage whereas WD < 10 cm in diameters(fine WD) accounted for more pieces of WD(89.9%).Lithocarpus confinis contributed the most WD carbon(26.5%). Intermediate decayed WD was relatively more abundant, but WD with final decay contributed the least to the total pieces of WD(6.7%). The contribution of WD to carbon storage of karst forest was low compared to other forests worldwide. Significant positive correlations were found between WD carbon and biodiversity(R^2= 0.035,p < 0.01) and elevation(R^2= 0.047, p < 0.01) and negative correlations was found in outcrop coverage(R^2= 0.034, p <0.01). 9Effects of heat treatment on mechanical properties and microstructure of tungsten fiber reinforced grey cast iron matrix composites显示文摘In this study,grey cast iron matrix composites reinforced by different volume fractions of tungsten fibers(Vr=0.95%,1.90%,2.85%,3.80%)were investigated in as-cast and under the heat treatment temperatures of 1,000℃and 1,100℃.The microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites were analyzed and tested by means of SEM,micro-hardness tester and three-point bend testing.The results show that with increasing of the volume fraction of tungsten fibers,the composites reinforced by the tungsten fiber have higher flexural strength and modulus than that of cast iron without reinforcement,and the flexural strength increases with the increasing of heat treatment temperatures.Due to diffusion reaction between matrix and reinforcing phases,the process of heat treatment,the number of graphite flakes in the matrix seemingly becomes lower;and some hard carbide particles are formed around the residual tungsten fibers.Not only does the hardness of both matrix and reinforcement change tremendously,but also the region of reinforcement is also extended from the original 0.11 mm to 0.19 mm in radius.Niu Libin Xu Yunhua Peng jianHong Wu Hong 2009China Foundry2009,6,4:3
10Study on in-situ WC particles/tungsten wire reinforced iron matrix composites under electromagnetic field显示文摘By applying electromagnetic field to a system consisting of tungsten wires and grey cast iron melt,the grey cast iron matrix composite reinforced by either in-situ WC particles or the combination ofin-situ WC particles and the residual tungsten wire was obtained.By means of differential thermal analysis(DTA),the pouring temperature ofiron melt was determined at 1,573 K.The microstructures of the composites were analyzed by using of X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) equipped with an energy dispersive spectrum(EDS) and pin-on-disc abrasive wear test.The obtained results indicated that,with the enhancing frequency of electromagnetic field,the amount ofin-situ WC particles gradually increases,leading to continuous decrease of the residual tungsten wires.When the electromagnetic field frequency was up to 4 kHz,tungsten wires reacted completely with carbon atoms in grey cast iron melt,forming WC particals.The electromagnetic field appeared to accelerate the elemental diffusion in the melt,to help relatively quick formation of a series of small FeW-C ternary zones and to improve the kinetic condition ofin-situ WC fabrication.As compared with the composite prepared without the electromagnetic field,the composite fabricated at 4 kHz presented good wear resistance.Niu Libin Xu Yunhua Wu Hong 2010China Foundry2010,7,2:2
11Sources of organic matter and paleo-environmental implications inferred from carbon isotope compositions of lacustrine sediments at Inexpressible Island, Ross Sea, Antarctica显示文摘The carbon isotopic composition of organic matter(δ^(13)C_(org)) was determined in two sediment cores(IIL1 and IIL9) recovered from Inexpressible Island, Ross Sea, Antarctica, and analyzed to identify the sources of that organic matter. The δ^(13)C_(org) values of sediments of IIL9 were found to vary between-14.6‰ and-11.6‰, with a mean of-13.4‰(n=48). These values were significantly higher than those of IIL1 sediments which varied between-23.2‰ and-20.4‰, with a mean of-21.8‰(n=55). The variation in δ^(13)C_(org) values in these two sediment cores indicate different sources of organic matter. The relatively high δ^(13)C_(org) values in IIL9 are in accordance with a source from algae, while the low δ^(13)C_(org) values in IIL1 evince significant influence from penguin guano with algae as the secondary source. Compared with the reference data from other high-latitude lake sediments and plants, the δ^(13)C_(org) values in IIL9 were extremely high, a result likely related to intense competition for CO_2 assimilation among algal species during the growing season in this relatively shallow pond. 12Change of Organic δ^(13)C in Ornithogenic Sediments of the Xisha Archipelago,South China Sea and its Implication for Ecological Development显示文摘Organic carbon isotopes in sediments have been frequently used to identify the source of organic matter.Here we present a study of organic δ^(13)C on two sediment profiles influenced by guano from Guangjin and Jinqing islands in the Xisha Archipelago,South China Sea.Organic matter from ornithogenic coral sand sediments has two main sources,guano pellets and plant residues,and their organic δ^(13)C(δ^(13)C_(OM)) are significantly different.Organic carbon δ^(13)C_(guano) is much higher thanδ^(13)C_(plants),and δ^(13)C_(OM)of bulk samples is intermediate.Based on a two-end-member mixing model,the proportions of guano-and plant-derived organic matter in the bulk samples were reconstructed quantitatively.The results showed that seabirds began to inhabit the islands around approximately1200-1400 AD,and that guano pellets have been an important source of soil organic matter since then.With the accumulation of guano-derived nutrients,plants began to develop prosperously on the islands in the last 200 years,which is reflected by the significant increase of plant-derived organic matter in the upper sediment layer.However,guano-derived organic matter decreased greatly in recent decades,indicating a rapid decrease in seabird population.Our results show that organic δ^(13)C can be effectively used to quantitatively determine different source contributions of OM to bulk ornithogenic coral sand sediments.WU Libin LIU Xiaodong XU Liqiang 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,3:2

16Simultaneous adsorption of As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ) by the iron-sulfur codoped biochar composite:Competitive and synergistic effects显示文摘Simultaneous elimination of As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ) from wastewater is still a great challenge.In this work,an iron-sulfur codoped biochar (Fe/S-BC) was successfully fabricated in a simplified way and was applied to the remediate the co-pollution of As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ).The positive enthalpy indicated that the adsorption in As-Pb co-pollution was an endothermic reaction.The mechanism of As(Ⅲ) removal could be illustrated by surface complexation,oxidation and precipitation.In addition to precipitation and complexation,the elimination mechanism of Pb(Ⅱ) also contained ion exchange and electrostatic interactions.Competitive and synergistic effects existed simultaneously in the co-contamination system.The suppression of As(Ⅲ) was ascribed to competitive complexation of the two metals on Fe/S-BC,while the synergy of Pb(Ⅱ) was attributed to the formation of the PbFe2(AsO_(4))2(OH)2.Batch experiments revealed that Fe/S-BC had outstanding ability to remove As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ),regardless of pH dependency and interference by various coexisting ions.The maximum adsorption capacities of the Fe/S-BC for As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ) were 91.2 mg/g and 631.7 mg/g,respectively.Fe/S-BC could be treated as a novel candidate for the elimination of As(Ⅲ)-Pb(Ⅱ) combined pollution.Yijun Chen Qintie Lin Xiaoqing Wen Jin He Haoyu Luo Quanfa Zhong Libin Wu Jiaqi Li 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3:1
17Construction of polysulfides defense system for greatly improving the long cycle life of metal sulfide anodes for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Metal sulfides are promising anode materials for sodium ion batteries(SIBs)due to their high theoretical specific capacity and abundant source.Nevertheless,significant challenges,including large volume change,sluggish Na^(+)transport kinetics and polysulfides intermediates,have greatly affect their long cycle stability.Unfortunately,the majority of current studies only focus on the first two aspects,but lack of sufficient attention and insights into the effect of polysulfides intermediates.Here,a porous of CoS_(x)(P-CoS_(x))electrode material is fabricated as an example to investigate the influence of polysulfides on its cycling performance.The results show that polysulfides cause a slight loss of reversible capacity during the battery cycling,while the failure of the battery is due to its significant fluctuations in reversible capacity after extensive cycles.Detailed analyses demonstrate that the intense fluctuation in capacity originates from the faster growth of dendrites caused by the reaction of sodium polysulfides with sodium foil and/or the reaction of elemental sulfur with sodium foil to penetrate the separator,resulting in a local short circuit.To suppress these undesirable side reaction,N,S co-doped porous carbon tubes(N,S-PC)rich in C–S and C–N bonds have been added to adsorb polysulfides and alleviate their reaction with sodium foil.As a result,the capacity of the P-CoS_(x) electrode with N,S-PC(P-CoS_(x)/N,S-PC)remains stable without significant fluctuations for 1000 cycles,which is much better than that of the pure P-CoS_(x) electrode(intense fluctuation in capacity after 320 cycles).Our work offers insights into the crucial influence of polysulfides on the cycle performance of the P-CoS_(x) anode and provides a feasible strategy to prolong the cycle life of metal sulfide anode for SIBs.Xucai Yin Yang Ren Libin Wu Zhiguo Zhang Chunyu Du Jiajun Wang Gepin Yin Hua Huo 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8:1
18MXene-GaN van der Waals metal-semiconductor junctions for high performance multiple quantum well photodetectors显示文摘A MXene-GaN-MXene based multiple quantum well photodetector was prepared on patterned sapphire substrate by facile drop casting.The use of MXene electrodes improves the responsivity and reduces dark current,compared with traditional Metal-Semiconductor-Metal(MSM)photodetectors using Cr/Au electrodes.Dark current of the device using MXene-GaN van der Waals junctions is reduced by three orders of magnitude and its noise spectral intensity shows distinct improvement compared with the traditional Cr/Au–GaN–Cr/Au MSM photodetector.The improved device performance is attributed to low-defect MXene-GaN van der Waals interfaces.Thanks to the high quality MXene-GaN interfaces,it is possible to verify that the patterned substrate can locally improve both light extraction and photocurrent collection.The measured responsivity and specific detectivity reach as high as 64.6 A/W and 1.93×1012 Jones,respectively,making it a potential candidate for underwater optical detection and communication.The simple fabrication of MXene-GaN-MXene photodetectors spearheaded the way to high performance photodetection by combining the advantages of emerging 2D MXene materials with the conventional III-V materials.Lingzhi Luo Yixuan Huang Keming Cheng Abdullah Alhassan Mahdi Alqahtani Libin Tang Zhiming Wang Jiang Wu 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,10:1
19MiRNA identification,characterization and integrated network analysis for flavonoid biosynthesis in Brassicacoraphanus显示文摘Brassica rapa(AA,2n=20)and Raphanus sativus(RR,2n=18)are popular vegetables containing multiple secondary metabolites,such as flavonoids and anthocyanins.Nevertheless,fewstudies on miRNA expression profiles and potential regulatory network of flavonoid metabolism have been reported in the intergeneric hybrid of B.rapa and R.sativus(Brassicacoraphanus,AARR,2n=38).Here,themiRNAs of Brassicacoraphanus and its parents were first identified by small RNA sequencing.It was revealed that 315 conserved miRNAs and 193 novel miRNAs were found in Brassicacoraphanus and its parents.Moreover,the miRNA expression profiles were characterized and 204 miRNAs with differential expression were obtained.Further analysis showed that 184 miRNAs were non-additively expressed in Brassicacoraphanus.At last,the potential regulatory network of flavonoid metabolism in Brassicacoraphanus was analyzed by multi-omics data,suggesting possible roles of miR858a and miR157a in regulating flavonoid synthesis pathway in Brassicacoraphanus.Taken together,this study provides useful resources for probing globalmiRNA expression patterns in Brassicacoraphanus,which facilitates regulatory mechanism research on the biosynthesis pathway of secondary metabolites in Brassicacoraphanus.Libin zhang Heng Xia Jiangsheng Wu Maoteng Li 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,3:1
