| 1 | Mobile-Edge Computing Framework with Data Compression for Wireless Network in Energy Internet显示文摘Under the situations of energy dilemma, energy Internet has become one of the most important technologies in international academic and industrial areas. However, massive small data from users, which are too scattered and unsuitable for compression, can easily exhaust computational resources and lower random access possibility, thereby reducing system performance. Moreover, electric substations are sensitive to transmission latency of user data, such as controlling information. However, the traditional energy Internet usually could not meet requirements. Integrating mobile-edge computing makes energy Internet convenient for data acquisition,processing, management, and accessing. In this paper, we propose a novel framework for energy Internet to improve random access possibility and reduce transmission latency. This framework utilizes the local area network to collect data from users and makes conducting data compression for energy Internet possible. | 2 | Grey-matter volume as a potential feature for the classification of Alzheimer's disease and mild cognitive impairment: an exploratory study显示文摘Specific patterns of brain atrophy may be helpful in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease(AD). In the present study, we set out to evaluate the utility of grey-matter volume in the classification of AD and amnestic mild cognitive impairment(aMCI) compared to normal control(NC) individuals. Voxel-based morphometric analyses were performed on structural MRIs from 35 AD patients, 27 aMCI patients, and 27 NC participants. A two-sample two-tailed t-test was computed between the NC and AD groups to create a map of abnormal grey matter in AD. The brain areas with significant differences were extracted as regions of interest(ROIs), and the grey-matter volumes in the ROIs of the aMCI patients were included to evaluate the patterns of change across different disease severities. Next, correlation analyses between the grey-matter volumes in the ROIs and all clinical variables were performed in aMCI and AD patients to determine whether they varied with disease progression. The results revealed significantly decreased grey matter in the bilateral hippocampus/parahippocampus, the bilateral superior/middle temporal gyri, and the right precuneus in AD patients.The grey-matter volumes were positively correlated with clinical variables. Finally, we performed exploratory linear discriminative analyses to assess the classifying capacity of grey-matter volumes in the bilateral hippocampus and parahippocampus among AD, aMCI, and NC. Leave-one-out crossvalidation analyses demonstrated that grey-matter volumes in hippocampus and parahippocampus accurately distinguished AD from NC. | 3 | Drug-nanoencapsulated PLGA microspheres prepared by emulsion electrospray with controlled release behavior显示文摘The development of modern therapeutics has raised the requirement for controlled drug delivery system which is able to efficiently encapsulate bioactive agents and achieve their release at a desired rate satisfying the need of the practical system.In this study,two kind of aqueous model drugs with different molecule weight,Congo red and albumin from bovine serum(BSA)were nanoencapsulated in poly(DL-lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)microspheres by emulsion electrospray.In the preparation process,the aqueous phase of drugs was added into the PLGA chloroform solution to form the emulsion solution.The emulsion was then electrosprayed to fabricate drugnanoencapsulated PLGA microspheres.The morphology of the PLGA microspheres was affected by the volume ratio of aqueous drug phase and organic PLGA phase(V_(w)/V_(o))and the molecule weight of model drugs.Confocal laser scanning microcopy showed the nanodroplets of drug phase were scattered in the PLGA microspheres homogenously with different distribution patterns related to V_(w)/V_(o).With the increase of the volume ratio of aqueous drug phase,the number of nanodroplets increased forming continuous phase gradually that could accelerate drug release rate.Moreover,BSA showed a slower release rate from PLGA microspheres comparing to Congo red,which indicated the drug release rate could be affected by not only V_(w)/V_(o)but also the molecule weight of model drug.In brief,the PLGA microspheres prepared using emulsion electrospray provided an efficient and simple systemto achieve controlled drug release at a desired rate satisfying the need of the practices. | Shenglian Yao Huiying Liu Shukui Yu Yuanyuan Li Xiumei Wang Luning Wang | 2016 | Regenerative Biomaterials2016,3,5: | 5 |

| 6 | Optimized design and experiment of the three-arm transplanting mechanism for rice potted seedlings显示文摘The transplanting arm of two-arm transplanting mechanism is easy to cause seedlings injury and missing due to its faster speed relative to the seedlings.In order to solve the existed problems,a three-arm transplanting mechanism for rice potted seedlings was developed in this study.The developed three-arm transplanting mechanism for rice potted seedling can make the transplanting arm realize special trajectory and attitude through the unequal planetary gear transmission.The kinematic model of three-arm transplanting mechanism for rice potted seedling was established,and the optimal design software was developed.Based on the heuristic optimization algorithm named“parameter guide”,a set of satisfied mechanism parameters required by the rice potted seedling transplanting were obtained.The trajectory and attitude of three-arm transplanting mechanism used for the rice potted seedling were analyzed.Besides,the virtual simulation results were basically consistent with the optimization software results,and the correctness of theoretical analysis and virtual simulation were also verified by each other.When the developed transplanting mechanism picked up the seedling,the velocity of transplanting arm relative to the seedling was reduced by about 30%.The results showed that the injury rate of rice potted seedling transplanting mechanism was 0.04%,the missing rate of seedling was 1.4%,the integrity rate of seedling pot matrix was 96%,and the success rate of picking seedling was 99.92%. | Jianjun Yin Zeliang Wang Maile Zhou Luning Wu Yan Zhang | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,5: | 3 |

| 9 | CHRT:Clustering-Based Hybrid Re-Routing System for Traffic Congestion Avoidance显示文摘Re-routing system has become an important technology to improve traffic efficiency.The traditional re-routing schemes do not consider the dynamic characteristics of urban traffic,making the planned routes unable to cope with the changing traf-fic conditions.Based on real-time traffic information,it is challenging to dynamically re-route connected vehicles to alleviate traffic congestion.Moreover,how to obtain global traffic information while reducing communication costs and improving travel efficiency poses a challenge to the re-routing system.To deal with these challenges,this paper proposes CHRT,a clustering-based hybrid re-routing system for traffic congestion avoidance.CHRT develops a multi-layer hybrid architecture.The central server accesses the global view of traffic,and the distributed part is composed of vehicles divided into clusters to reduce latency and communication overhead.Then,a clustering-based priority mechanism is proposed,which sets priorities for clusters based on realtime traffic information to avoid secondary congestion.Furthermore,to plan the optimal routes for vehicles while alleviating global traffic congestion,this paper presents a multi-metric re-routing algorithm.Through extensive simulations based on the SUMO traffic simulator,CHRT reduces vehicle traveling time,fuel consumption,and CO2 emissions compared to other systems.In addition,CHRT globally alleviates traffic congestion and improves traffic efficiency. | Jie Huo Xiangming Wen Luning Liu Luhan Wang Meiling Li Zhaoming Lu | 2021 | China Communications2021,18,7: | 2 |
| 10 | Use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin Ⅱ receptor blockers in context of COVID-19 outbreak:a retrospective analysis显示文摘The possible effects of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEIs)or angiotensin Ⅱ receptor blockers(ARBs)on COVID-19 disease severity have generated considerable debate.We performed a single-center,retrospective analysis of hospitalized adult COVID-19 patients in Wuhan,China,who had definite clinical outcome(dead or discharged)by February 15,2020.Patients on anti-hypertensive treatment with or without ACEI/ARB were compared on their clinical characteristics and outcomes.The medical records from 702 patients were screened.Among the 101 patients with a history of hypertension and taking at least one anti-hypertensive medication,40 patients were receiving ACEI/ARB as part of their regimen,and 61 patients were on antihypertensive medication other than ACEI/ARB.We observed no statistically significant differences in percentages of in-hospital mortality(28%vs.34%,P=0.46),ICU admission(20%vs.28%,P=0.37)or invasive mechanical ventilation(18%vs.26%,P=0.31)between patients with or without ACEI/ARB treatment.Further multivariable adjustment of age and gender did not provide evidence for a significant association between ACEI/ARB treatment and severe COVID-19 outcomes.Our findings confirm the lack of an association between chronic receipt of reninangiotensin system antagonists and severe outcomes of COVID-19.Patients should continue previous antihypertensive therapy until further evidence is available. | Jiuyang Xu Chaolin Huang Guohui Fan Zhibo Liu Lianhan Shang Fei Zhou Yeming Wang Jiapei Yu Luning Yang Ke Xie Zhisheng Huang Lixue Huang Xiaoying Gu Hui Li Yi Zhang Yimin Wang Frederick G.Hayden Peter W.Horby Bin Cao Chen Wang | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,5: | 2 |

| 20 | Vapor Phase Polymerization Deposition Conducting Polymer Nanocomposites on Porous Dielectric Surface as High Performance Electrode Materials显示文摘We report chemical vapor phase polymerization(VPP) deposition of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT) and PEDOT/graphene on porous dielectric tantalum pentoxide(Ta_2O_5) surface as cathode films for solid tantalum electrolyte capacitors. The modified oxidant/oxidant-graphene films were first deposited on Ta_2O_5 by dip-coating, and VPP process was subsequently utilized to transfer oxidant/oxidant-graphene into PEDOT/PEDOT-graphene films. The SEM images showed PEDOT/PEDOT-graphene films was successfully constructed on porous Ta_2O_5 surface through VPP deposition, and a solid tantalum electrolyte capacitor with conducting polymer-graphene nano-composites as cathode films was constructed. The high conductivity nature of PEDOT-graphene leads to resistance decrease of cathode films and lower contact resistance between PEDOT/graphene and carbon paste. This nano-composite cathode films based capacitor showed ultralow equivalent series resistance(ESR) ca. 12 m? and exhibited excellent capacitance-frequency performance, which can keep 82% of initial capacitance at 500 KHz. The investigation on leakage current revealed that the device encapsulation process has no influence on capacitor leakage current, indicating the excellent mechanical strength of PEDOT/PEDOT-gaphene films.
