1Angular distribution of terahertz emission from laser interactions with solid targets显示文摘Intense femtosecond laser-plasma interactions can produce high power terahertz radiations. In our experiment, the polished copper target was irradiated by a p-polarized laser with intensity of more than 1018 W/cm2 at an incident angle of 67.5 from the target normal. The THz energy from three dierent detection angles is measured. The maximum emission is found in the direction at an angle of 45 to the laser backward direction, which is more than one order of magnitude higher than in the other two directions.A simple theoretical model has been established to explain the measurements.DU Fei LI Chun ZHOU MuLin WANG WeiMin SU LuNing ZHENG Yi GE XuLei LI YuTong MA JingLong LIU XiaoLong ZHANG Lu SHENG ZhengMing CHEN LiMing LU Xin DONG QuanLi WANG ZhaoHua WEI ZhiYi ZHANG Jie 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,1:2

4Polarization of terahertz emission out of incident plane from laser interactions with solid targets显示文摘A powerful terahertz(THz) pulse was produced by a p-polarized,70 fs,800 nm laser interacting with solid targets at an incident angle of 45°.The polarization of the THz emission was measured out of the laser incident plane. The results showed that it was linearly polarized. We established a surface current model to explain this phenomenon, assuming that the transient current moving along the plasma surface was responsible for the generation of the THz emission. The model expectation and the experimental result were in good agreement.DU Fei LI Chun ZHOU MuLin WANG WeiMin SU LuNing ZHENG Yi LI YuTong MA JingLong SHENG ZhengMing CHEN LiMing LU Xin WANG ZhaoHua WEI ZhiYi ZHANG Jie 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,4:1
5O-GlcNAcylation regulates phagocytosis by promoting Ezrin localization at the cell cortex显示文摘O-GlcNAcylation is a post-translational modification that serves as a cellular nutrient sensor and participates in multiple physiological and pathological processes. However,it remains uncertain whether O-GlcNAcylation is involved in the regulation of phagocytosis. Here,we demonstrate a rapid increase in protein OGlcNAcylation in response to phagocytotic stimuli.Knockout of the O-GlcNAc transferase or pharmacological inhibition of O-GlcNAcylation dramatically blocks phagocytosis, resulting in the disruption of retinal structure and function.Mechanistic studies reveal that the O-GlcNAc transferase interacts with Ezrin,a membrane-cytoskeleton linker protein,to catalyze its O-GlcNAcylation.Our data further show that Ezrin OGlcNAcylation promotes its localization to the cell cortex, thereby stimulating the membrane-cytoskeleton interaction needed for efficient phagocytosis. These findings identify a previously unrecognized role for protein O-GlcNAcylation in phagocytosis with important implications in both health and diseases.Song Yang Hanyu Liu Hua Ni Lingyu Jiang Mulin Yang Quan Chen Jun Zhou Fan Yu 2023Journal of Genetics and Genomics2023,50,7:0
6Coagulation factors and the incidence of COVID-19 severity:Mendelian randomization analyses and supporting evidence显示文摘Dear Editor,The evolving pandemic of coronavirus disease 19(COVID-19),is arousing alarm to public health.According to epidemiological and observational investigations, coagulopathy was frequently seen in severe COVID-19 patients1.Some coagulation factors such as D-dimer,prothrombin time(PT);von Willebrand factor(VWF),platelet count, and fibrinogen were documented to be important predictors of critically ill patients with COVID-19 in many retrospective observational studies and were substantially discussed before(see Supplementary Notes),yet the causality from specific coagulation factors to the incidence of COVID-19 severity and the underlying mechanism remains elusive.Yao Zhou Xinyi Qian Zipeng Liu Hongxi Yang Tong Liu Kexin Chen Yaogang Wang Pak Chung Sham Ying Yu Mulin Jun Li 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,7:0
