| 2 | Prevalence of SLC22A4, SLC22A5 and CARD15 gene mutations in Hungarian pediatric patients with Crohn’s disease显示文摘AIM: To investigate the frequency of the common NOD2/CARD15 susceptibility variants and two functional polymorphisms of OCTN cation transporter genes in Hungarian pediatric patients with Crohn’s disease (CD). METHODS: A cohort of 19 unrelated pediatric and 55 unrelated adult patients with Crohn’s disease and 49 healthy controls were studied. Genotyping of the three common CD-associated CARD15 variants (Arg702Trp, Gly908Arg and 1007finsC changes) with the SLC22A4 1672C→T, and SLC22A5 -207G→C mutations was performed by direct sequencing of the specifi c regions of these genes.RESULTS: At least one CARD15 mutation was present in 52.6% of the children and in 34.5% of the adults compared to 14.3% in controls. Surprisingly, strongly different mutation profi le was detected in the pediatric versus adult patients. While the G908R and 1007finsC variants were 18.4% and 21.1% in the pediatric group, they were 1.82% and 11.8% in the adults, and were 1.02% and 3.06% in the controls, respectively. The R702W allele was increased approximately two-fold in the adult subjects, while in the pediatric group it was only approximately 64% of the controls (9.09% in the adults, 2.63% in pediatric patients, and 4.08% in the controls). | 3 | Usefulness of positron emission tomography in primary intestinal follicular lymphoma显示文摘Double-balloon enteroscopy (DBE) and video capsule endoscopy are useful for the diagnosis of lymphoma in the small intestine. However, DBE cannot be safely performed in cases with passage disturbance due to wall thickening and stenosis. Additionally, video capsule endoscopy cannot be performed in such cases because of the risk of retention. Here, we report 4 cases of primary follicular lymphoma of the gastrointestinal tract that could be detected using 18F-fluoro-deoxyglucose positron emission tomography combined with computed tomography (PET-CT). The endoscopic findings of these 4 cases included lesions with wall thickening, which comprised macroscopically clusters of nodules, dense clusters of whitish granules or small nodules, fold thickening and ulcers with irregular margins that occupied the whole lumen with edematous mucosa. | 4 | Effects of red and blue LEDs on in vitro growth and microtuberization of potato single-node cuttings显示文摘The objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of red and blue LEDs on in vitro growth and microtuberization of potato(Solanum tuberosum) singlenode cuttings. Explants were incubated under 6 light treatments: 100% red LEDs(R), 75% red LEDs + 25%blue LEDs(3 RB), 50% red LEDs + 50% blue LEDs(RB),25% red LEDs + 75% blue LEDs(R3 B), 100% blue LEDs(B) and white LEDs(W). Most of the growth and physiological parameters were significantly higher in3 RB than W. Enhancement of leaf area and chlorophyll concentrations were obtained in B. Leaf stomata were elliptical with the lowest density in 3 RB. However, those in W were round in shape, and those with the smallest size and the highest density were observed in R. Most of the characteristics of microtuberization were also improved in3 RB. The combined spectra of red and blue LEDs increased the number of large microtubers. The fresh weight of individual microtubers in R and W were increased, but not their number. | 5 | 伊朗Graves眼病的临床特点(英文)显示文摘目的:研究分析伊朗Graves眼病患者的临床特点。方法:回顾分析2003/2005年确诊为Graves眼病的103例患者临床资料。结果:在103例Graves眼病患者中,48例(46.6%)为男性,55例(53.3%)为女性(男女比例为1.1)。年龄18~73(平均45)岁,95例(92.2%)表现为甲状腺机能亢进,3例(2.9%)表现为原发性甲状腺机能减退,5例(4.8%)甲状腺机能正常。出现眼部症状的时间为2~95(平均3.2)mo,而表现出甲状腺功能障碍的时间为6~180(平均39.4)mo。12例患者单眼发病,90例(87%)患者有眼睑退缩,80例(77.6%)患者表现出眼球突出,其中30例(29%)伴有局限性眼外肌运动障碍;CT扫描显示70例患者中有52例(74%)有眼外肌肥大。6例患者(5.8%)有视神经功能障碍,22例患者(21%)表现出Graves眼病相关的青光眼,其中7例(6.7%)为正常眼压青光眼。结论:本组病例中眼睑退缩是Graves眼病最常见的临床表现。未来需要更大范围的病例研究,以评价分析Graves眼病在伊朗人群中的发病率以及不同人种之间临床表现差异。 | Ali Sadeghi Tari Mohammad Taher Rajabi Khalil Hamzedust Seyed Ziaeddin Tabatabaie Abolfazl Kasai | 2007 | 国际眼科杂志2007，7，2： | 3 |
