1AFM research on Fe-based nanocrystal crystallization mechanism显示文摘The cross-section pattern of Fe-based alloy ribbon (Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9) annealed at different temperatures was investigated by AFM (atomic force microscope), and the effect mechanism of Nb and Cu in Fe-based alloy ribbon annealing was analyzed with XRD diffraction crystal analysis technique and other research results. New concepts of encapsulated grain, Nb vacancy cluster, Nb-B atom cluster and so on were proposed and used to describe the formation mechanism of α-Fe (Si) nanocrystal. 17High-power distributed feedback lasers based on InP corrugated sidewalls atλ~2μm显示文摘We report a high-power single-mode InP-based 2μm distributed feedback(DFB)laser with a second-order buried grating and corrugated sidewalls.A second-order semiconductor grating is used for in-plane feedback and vertical out-coupling.The corrugated sidewalls are used to eliminate higher-order transverse modes.For the DFB laser with a 2 mm long cavity and 15μm wide ridge,the maximum continuous-wave edge-emitting and surface-emitting single-mode powers at 300 K are up to 81 and 42 m W,respectively.A single-lobed far-field radiation pattern with a low divergence angle of approximately 8.6°is achieved by a device with a ridge width of 15μm.The single-longitudinal-mode emission wavelength of the fabricated laser can be adjusted from2003.8 nm at 288 K to 2006.9 nm at 313 K without any mode hopping.Robust single-mode emission with a side-mode suppression ratio of 30 dB is achieved under all injection currents and temperature conditions.YONGQIANG SUN YUNFEI XU JINCHUAN ZHANG FENGMIN CHEN JUNQI LIU SHUMAN LIU QUANYONG LU NING ZHUO LIJUN WANG FENGQI LIU SHENQIANG ZHAI 2023Photonics Research2023,11,8:0
18An Adaptive Lagrangian Algorithm for Optimal Portfolio Deleveraging with Cross-Impact显示文摘This paper considers the problem of optimal portfolio deleveraging, which is a crucial problem in finance. Taking the permanent and temporary price cross-impact into account, the authors establish a quadratic program with box constraints and a singly quadratic constraint. Under some assumptions, the authors give an optimal trading priority and show that the optimal solution must be achieved when the quadratic constraint is active. Further, the authors propose an adaptive Lagrangian algorithm for the model, where a piecewise quadratic root-finding method is used to find the Lagrangian multiplier. The convergence of the algorithm is established. The stress effect mechanism in Fe-based alloy ribbon tensile stress an-nealed inducing transverse magnetic anisotropy field was studied using the X-ray diffraction spectra and longitudinal drive giant magneto-impedance effect curves, and the model of direction dominant in encapsulated grain agglomeration was es-tablished. 20Biochars derived from carp residues:characteristics and copper immobilization performance in water environments显示文摘Heavy metal pollution has attracted worldwide attention because of its adverse impact on the aquatic environment and human health.The production of biochar from biowaste has become a promising strategy for managing animal carcasses and remediating heavy metal pollution in the aquatic environment.However,the sorption and remediation performance of carp residue-derived biochar(CRB)in Cu-polluted water is poorly understood.Herein,batches of CRB were prepared from carp residues at 450–650℃(CRB450–650)to investigate their physicochemical characteristics and performance in the sorption and remediation of Cu-polluted water.Compared with a relatively low-temperature CRB(e.g.,CRB450),the high-temperature biochar(CRB650)possessed a large surface area and thermodynamic stability.CRB650 contained higher oxygen-containing functional groups and P-associated minerals,such as hydroxyapatite.As the pyrolytic temperature increased from 450 to 650℃,the maximum sorption capacity of the CRBs increased from 26.5 to 62.5 mg/g.The adsorption process was a type of monolayer adsorption onto homogenous materials,and the sorption of Cu^(2+)on the CRB was mainly based on chemical adsorption.The most effective potential adsorption mechanisms were in order of electrostatic attraction and cation-πinteraction>surface complexation and precipitation>pore-filling and cation exchange.Accordingly,the CRBs efficiently immobilized Cu^(2+)and reduced its bioavailability in water.These results provide a promising strategy to remediate heavy metal-polluted water using designer biochars derived from biowastes,particularly animal carcasses.Hongtao Qiao Yongsheng Qiao Cuizhu Sun Xiaohan Ma Jing Shang Xiaoyun Li Fengmin Li Hao Zheng 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,6:0
