2AFM research on Fe-based nanocrystal crystallization mechanism显示文摘The cross-section pattern of Fe-based alloy ribbon (Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9) annealed at different temperatures was investigated by AFM (atomic force microscope), and the effect mechanism of Nb and Cu in Fe-based alloy ribbon annealing was analyzed with XRD diffraction crystal analysis technique and other research results. New concepts of encapsulated grain, Nb vacancy cluster, Nb-B atom cluster and so on were proposed and used to describe the formation mechanism of α-Fe (Si) nanocrystal. 4Netrin-1 works with UNC5B to regulate angiogenesis in diabetic kidney disease显示文摘Netrin-1,an axon guidance factor,and its receptor UNC5B play important roles in axonal development and angiogenesis.This study examined netrin-1 and UNC5B expression in kidneys with diabetic kidney disease (DKD) and investigated their roles in angiogenesis.Netrin-1 and UNC5B were upregulated in streptozotocininduced DKD Wistar rats,and their expression was compared with that in healthy controls.However,exogenous netrin-1 in UNC5B-depleted human renal glomerular endothelial cells (HRGECs) inhibited cell migration and tubulogenesis.This effect was likely associated with SRC pathway deactivation.Netrin-1 treatment also eliminated the pro-angiogenic effects of exogenous VEGF-165 on UNC5B-silenced HRGECs.These results indicate that UNC5B antagonizes netrin-1 and that UNC5B upregulation contributes partly to enhancing angiogenesis in DKD.Therefore,introducing exogenous netrin-1 and depleting endogenous UNC5B are potential strategies for reducing the incidence of early angiogenesis and mitigating kidney injury in DKD.Xiaojing Jiao Dong Zhang Quan Hong Lei Yan Qiuxia Han Fengmin Shao Guangyan Cai Xiangmei Chen Hanyu Zhu 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,3:7
5Uranium Provinces in China显示文摘Three uranium provinces are recognized in China, the Southeast China uranium province, the Northeast China-Inner Mongolia uranium province and the Northwest China (Xinjiang) uranium province. The latter two promise good potential for uranium resources and are major exploration target areas in recent years. There are two major types of uranium deposits: the Phanerozoic hydrothermal type (vein type) and the Meso-Cenozoic sandstone type in different proportions in the three uranium provinces. The most important reason or prerequisite for the formation of these uranium provinces is that Precambrian uranium-enriched old basement or its broken parts (median massifs) exists or once existed in these regions, and underwent strong tectonomagmatic activation during Phanerozoic time. 9Allelopathic inhibition on red tide microalgae Skeletonema costatum by five macroalgal extracts显示文摘This study aims to identify effective antialgal allelochemicals from marine macroalgae that inhibit the growth of red tide microalgae.Practically,new algicidal agents were developed to control red tide.The growth inhibitory effects of 5 marine macroalgae Porphyra tenera,Laminaria japonica,Ulva pertusa,Enteromorpha clathrata,and Undaria pinnatifida on Skeletonema costatum were evaluated by adding crude seawater extracts of macroalgal dry tissue into the culture medium containing S.costatum.The half-effective concentrations at 120 h(EC_(50),120 h)of the seawater extracts were 0.6,0.9,1.0,1.0,and 4.7 g/L for the five macroalgae above,respectively.E.clathrata,L.japonica and U.pertusa showed strong allelopathic effect on the growth of S.costatum.There have been no previous reports with regard to the allelopathic effects of the former two macroalgae so far.The possible allelochemicals of 21 compounds of the E.clathrata were detected using Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)analysis.Unsaturated fatty acids,acrylic acid(C_(3)H_(4)O_(2)),and linolenic acid(C_(18)H_(30)O_(2))were the most likely allelochemicals in E.clathrata.Zhen AN Zhenyu WANG Fengmin LI Zhijia TIAN Hongying HU 2008Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2008,2,3:4
10Preliminary results of a new global ocean reanalysis显示文摘Using a new global ocean reanalysis of the second generation Global Ocean Data Assimilation System of the Beijing Climate Center(BCC_GODAS2.0) spanning the period 1990-2009,we firstly quantify the accuracy of BCC_GODAS2.0 in representing the temperature and salinity by comparing with OISST and SODA data.The results show that the assimilation system may effectively improve the estimations of temperature and salinity by assimilating all kinds of observations,especially in the equatorial eastern Pacific.Moreover,the root mean square errors of monthly temperature and salinity are respectively reduced by 0.53℃ and 0.28 psu,compared with the model control simulation results.Then,the applicability of this ocean reanalysis for sea surface temperature(SST) anomaly variability in the tropical Pacific is evaluated with the observational HadISST data.The NINO3 index of the new reanalysis shows a good agreement with that of HadISST,with a correlation of 93.6%.Variations in SST from BCC_GODAS2.0 are similar to those obtained from HadISST data along the equator,showing the major large zonal-scale features such as the strong magnitude of seasonal cycle.The amplitude of SST anomaly standard deviation in the equatorial eastern Pacific is also closer to observations(HadISST) than NCEP GODAS does.Besides,the first two leading empirical orthogonal function(EOF) modes of the monthly SST anomalies over the tropical Pacific region are explored.The EOF1 pattern of BCC_GODAS2.0 captures a traditional El Ni o pattern,which improves magnitudes of the positive SST anomaly in the cold tongue of the eastern Pacific.The EOF2 pattern exhibits a El Ni o Modoki pattern.Comparatively,the EOF2 pattern of BCC_GODAS2.0 extends more strongly toward the subtropics.It also overcomes the problem that negative loadings are confined in the narrow equatorial eastern Pacific.Consequently,the magnitude and spatial distribution of the leading EOF patterns of BCC_GODAS2.0 are well consistent with those of HadISST.WANG DongXiao QIN YingHao XIAO XianJun ZHANG ZuQiang WU FengMin 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,26:4
11Thermodynamic functions of ZrW_2O_8 from its heat capacity显示文摘It is interesting to maximize the amount of information we can obtain from one experiment on a single sample.In obtaining all the thermodynamic properties of some materials from their experimental heat capacity data only,we aim to get the temperature-independent energy spectrum.However,all the practical measured energy spectra depend on the temperature of experiments.One promising method to obtain the temperature-independent energy spectrum is to solve the so-called specific heat-phonon spectrum inversion(SPI) problem.Here we show,by developing a new practical solution method of SPI,the phonon spectrum of the negative thermal expansion material ZrW 2 O 8 is obtained.This phonon spectrum is temperature-independent and almost method independent.Hence all the thermodynamic properties of ZrW 2 O 8,such as thermodynamic potential,entropy,Helmholtz free energy,etc.are obtained by heat capacity only.Ji FengMin DAI XianXi STEVENS R GOATES J B 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,4:3
12A new solution method for black-body radiation inversion and the solar area-temperature distribution显示文摘The effective temperature of the solar photosphere is usually obtained according to the solar constant, based on the Stefan-Boltzmann law. However its temperature distribution is not homogeneous. A hopeful way to obtain the area-temperature distribution of the solar photosphere is to solve the Black-body Radiation Inversion (BRI) problem. In this paper, a new practical solution method for BRI is developed. The theoretical analysis and numerical calculations show the low-temperature distribution difficulty of BRI is solved by this new method. Then the area-temperature distribution of the solar photosphere is obtained, according to the measured absolute solar spectral irradiance. It is the first realization of BRI for a real system after almost three decades of efforts. 13Efficient projected gradient methods for cardinality constrained optimization显示文摘Sparse optimization has attracted increasing attention in numerous areas such as compressed sensing, financial optimization and image processing. In this paper, we first consider a special class of cardinality constrained optimization problems, which involves box constraints and a singly linear constraint. An efficient approach is provided for calculating the projection over the feasibility set after a careful analysis on the projection subproblem. Then we present several types of projected gradient methods for a general class of cardinality constrained optimization problems. Global convergence of the methods is established under suitable assumptions. Finally, we illustrate some applications of the proposed methods for signal recovery and index tracking.Especially for index tracking, we propose a new model subject to an adaptive upper bound on the sparse portfolio weights. 14Determination of Heavy Metals in Tobacco by ICP-MS and Analysis of Uncertainty显示文摘The research aims to set up the determination method of heavy metals in tobacco by ICP-MS and analyze its uncertainty. Microwave digest technique is used for decomposition of the tobacco samples. Bi,Sc,Ge and In are employed as internal standards to eliminate the interference of the matrix. A method is developed for simultaneous determination of Cr,Cu,As,Cd,Hg and Pb in tobacco from Yunnan Province by ICP-MS,and the measurement uncertainty is evaluated by metrological method. The test results indicate that in the content range of0- 1. 0 g / ml,the linearly dependent coefficient of six elements is 1. 0000,and the RSD achieves 1. 5%- 11%( n = 8). 17Adaptive projected gradient thresholding methods for constrained l0problems显示文摘In this paper, we propose and analyze adaptive projected gradient thresholding(APGT) methods for finding sparse solutions of the underdetermined linear systems with equality and box constraints. The general convergence will be demonstrated, and in addition, the bound of the number of iterations is established in some special cases. Under suitable assumptions, it is proved that any accumulation point of the sequence generated by the APGT methods is a local minimizer of the underdetermined linear system. Moreover, the APGT methods, under certain conditions, can find all s-sparse solutions for accurate measurement cases and guarantee the stability and robustness for flawed measurement cases.
