| 1 | Electroactive barium titanate coated titanium scaffold improves osteogenesis and osseointegration with low-intensity pulsed ultrasound for large segmental bone defects显示文摘For large segmental bone defects,porous titanium scaffolds have some advantages,however,they lack electrical activity which hinders their further use.In this study,a barium titanate(BaTiO3)piezoelectric ceramic was used to modify the surface of a porous Ti6Al4V scaffold(pTi),which was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and roughness and water contact angle analyses.Low intensity pulsed ultrasound(LIPUS)was applied in vitro and in vivo study.The activity of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells,including adhesion,proliferation,and gene expression,was significantly superior in the BaTiO3/pTi,pTi+LIPUS,and BaTiO3/pTi+LIPUS groups than in the pTi group.The activity was also higher in the BaTiO3/pTi+LIPUS group than in the BaTiO3/pTi and pTi+LIPUS groups.Additionally,micro-computed tomography,the mineral apposition rate,histomorphology,and the peak pull-out load showed that these scaffold conditions significantly enhanced osteogenesis and osseointegration 6 and 12 weeks after implantation in large segmental bone defects in the radius of rabbits compared with those resulting from the pTi condition.Consequently,the improved osteogenesis and osseointegration make the BaTiO3/pTi+LIPUS a promising method to promote bone regeneration in large segmental bone defects for clinical application. | Bo Fan Zheng Guo Xiaokang Li Songkai Li Peng Gao Xin Xiao Jie Wu Chao Shen Yilai Jiao Wentao Hou | 2020 | Bioactive Materials2020,5,4: | 9 |
| 2 | Coordinative Optimization of Hydro-photovoltaic-wind-battery Complementary Power Stations显示文摘The depletion of fossil energy and the deterioration of the ecological environment have severely restricted the development of the power industry.Therefore,it is extremely urgent to transform energy production methods and vigorously develop renewable energy sources.It is therefore important to ensure the stability and operation of a large multi-energy complementary system,and provide theoretical support for the world’s largest single complementary demonstration project with hydro-wind-PV power-battery storage in Qinghai Province.Considering all the multiple power supply constraints,an optimization scheduling model is established with the objective of minimizing the volatility of output power.As particle swarm optimization(PSO)has a problem of premature convergence and slow convergence in the latter half,combined with niche technology in evolution,a niche particle swarm optimization(NPSO)is proposed to determine the optimal solution of the model.Finally,the multiple stations’coordinated operation is analyzed taking the example of 10 million kilowatt complementary power stations with hydropower,wind power,PV power,and battery storage in the Yellow River Company Hainan prefecture.The case verifies the rationality and feasibility of the model.It shows that complementary operations can improve the utilization rate of renewable energy and reduce the impact of wind and PV power’s volatility on the power grid. | Yuan An Zehaohan Zhao Songkai Wang Qiang Huang Xiaoping Xie | 2020 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,2: | 2 |
