2Admissibility analysis and control synthesis for switched linear singular systems显示文摘The problem of admissibility analysis and control synthesis of discrete-time switched linear singular (SLS) systems for arbitrary switching laws is solved.By using the switched Lyapunov function approach,some new sufficient conditions under which the SLS system is admissible for arbitrary switching laws are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).Based on the admissibility results,control synthesis is then to design switched state feedback and static output feedback controllers,guaranteeing that the resulting closed-loop system is admissible.The presented results can be viewed as the extensions of previous works on switched Lyapunov function approach from the regular switched systems to singular switched cases.Examples are provided to demonstrate the reduced conservatism and effectiveness of the proposed conditions.Lin Jinxing Fei Shumin Shen Jiong 2009Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2009,20,5:4
3Phase structure and hydrogen storage properties of LaMg_(3.70)Ni_(1.18) alloy显示文摘The phase structure and hydrogen storage properties of LaMg 3.70 Ni 1.18 alloy were investigated. The LaMg 3.70 Ni 1.18 alloy consists of main LaMg 2 Ni phase, minor La 2 Mg 17 and LaMg 3 phases. The alloy can be activated in the first hydriding/dehydriding process, and initial LaMg 2 Ni, La 2 Mg 17 , and LaMg 3 phases transfer to LaH 2.34 , Mg, and Mg 2 Ni phases after activation. The reversible hydrogen storage capacity of the LaMg 3.70 Ni 1.18 alloy is 2.47 wt.% at 558 K, which is higher than that of the LaMg 2 Ni alloy. The pressure-composition-temperature (PCT) curves display two hydriding plateaus, corresponding to the formation of MgH 2 and Mg 2 NiH 4 . However, only one dehydriding plateau is observed, owing to the synergetic effect of hydrogen desorption between MgH 2 and Mg 2 NiH 4 . The uptake time for hydrogen content to reach 99% of saturated state is less than 250 s, and 90% hydrogen can be released in 1200 s in the experimental conditions, showing fast kinetics in hydriding and dehydriding. The activation energies of the LaMg 3.70 Ni 1.18 alloy are -51.5 ± 1.1 kJ/mol and -57.0 ± 0.6 kJ/mol for hydriding and dehydriding, respectively. 4Fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5)/PM_(1.0)) in Beijing,China: Variations and chemical compositions as well as sources显示文摘Particulate matter(i.e.,PM_(1.0) and PM_(2.5)),considered as the key atmospheric pollutants,exerts negative effects on visibility,global climate,and human health by associated chemical compositions.However,our understanding of PM and its chemical compositions in Beijing under the current atmospheric environment is still not complete after witnessing marked alleviation during 2013–2017.Continuous measurements can be crucial for further air quality improvement by better characterizing PM pollution and chemical compositions in Beijing.Here,we conducted simultaneous measurements on PM in Beijing during 2018–2019.Results indicate that annualmean PM_(1.0) and PM_(2.5) concentrations were 35.49±18.61μg/m^(3) and 66.58±60.17μg/m^(3),showing a positive response to emission controls.The contribution of sulfate,nitrate,and ammonium(SNA)played an enhanced role with elevated PM loading and acted as the main contributors to pollution episodes.Discrepancies observed among chemical species between PM_(1.0) and PM_(2.5) in spring suggest that sand particles trend to accumulate in the range of 1–2.5μm.Pollution episodes occurred accompanied with southerly clusters and high formation of SNA by heterogeneous reactions in summer and winter,respectively.Results from positive matrix factorization(PMF)combined with potential source contribution function(PSCF)models showed that potential areas were seasonal dependent,secondary and vehicular sources became much more important compared with previous studies in Beijing.Our study presented a continuous investigation on PM and sources origins in Beijing,which provides a better understanding for further emission control as well as a reference for other cities in developing countries.Lining Luo Xiaoxuan Bai Shuhan Liu Bobo Wu Wei Liu Yunqian Lv Zhihui Guo Shumin Lin Shuang Zhao Yan Hao Jiming Hao Kai Zhang Aihua Zheng Hezhong Tian 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,11:3

7Robust stability and stabilization for uncertain discrete-time switched singular systems with time-varying delays显示文摘The problems of robust stability and stabilization via memoryless state feedback for a class of discrete-time switched singular systems with time-varying delays and linear fractional uncertainties are investigated.By constructing a novel switched Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional,a delay-dependent criterion for the unforced system to be regular,causal and uniformly asymptotically stable is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).An explicit expression for the desired memoryless state feedback stabilization controller is also given.The merits of the proposed criteria lie in their less conservativeness and relative simplicity,which are achieved by considering additionally useful terms(ignored in previous methods) when estimating the upper bound of the forward difference of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and by avoiding utilizing any model augmentation transformation.Some numerical examples are provided to illustrate the validity of the proposed methods.Jinxing Lin Shumin Fei Jiong Shen 2010Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,4:2

9Uncovering the mysterious identity of Taisui——an old Chinese folk legend显示文摘Dear Editor,Taisui(太岁) has attracted great attention in China because it has been described in ancient Chinese texts as an entity possessing mysterious properties. In Chinese mythology and folklore, Jupiter is the God of the 'Sui'(year) and is worshiped in Daoism. Jupiter appears at the same location in the sky approximately every 12 years(Jupiter’s orbit is11.86 years). However, since each cycle of Jupiter lasts for exactly 11.86 years and one Chinese year cycle comprises exactly 12 years, after approximately 84.7 years, Jupiter travels one cycle more than the number of cycles assumed by the ancient Chinese, which is called Taisui. 12Anchoring polysulfide with artificial solid electrolyte interphase for dendrite-free and low N/P ratio Li-S batteries显示文摘Lithium sulfur batteries are regarded as a promising candidate for high-energy-density energy storage devices.However,the lithium metal anode in lithium-sulfur batteries encounters the problem of lithium dendrites and lithium metal consumption caused by polysulfide corrosion.Herein we design a dualfunction PMMA/PPC/LiNO3composite as an artificial solid electrolyte interphase(PMCN-SEI)to protect Li metal anode.This SEI offers multiple sites of C=O for polysulfide anchoring to constrain corrosion of Li metal anode.The lithiated polymer group and Li3N in PMCN-SEI can homogenize lithium-ion deposition behavior to achieve a dendrite-free anode.As a result,the PMCN-SEI protected Li metal anode enables the Li||Li symmetric batteries to maintain over 300 cycles(1300 h)at a capacity of 5 m Ah cm^(-2),corresponding to a cumulative capacity of 3.25 Ah cm^(-2).Moreover,Li-S batteries assembled with 20μm of Li metal anode(N/P=1.67)still deliver an initial capacity of 1166 m A h g-1at 0.5C.Hence,introducing polycarbonate polymer/inorganic composite SEI on Li provides a new solution for achieving the high energy density of Li-S batteries.Wei Lu Zhao Wang Guiru Sun Shumin Zhang Lina Cong Lin Lin Siru Chen Jia Liu Haiming Xie Yulong Liu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,5:1

15Adaptive control for a class of discrete-time time-delay systems with regard to delay parameter显示文摘The memory state feedback control problem for a class of discrete-time systems with input delay and unknown state delay is addressed based on LMIs and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method. Under the action of our designed adaptive control law, the unknown time-delay parameter is included in memory state feedback controller. Using LMI technique, delay-dependent suffcient conditions for the existence of the feedback controller are obtained. 18Control synthesis of linear distributed parameter switched systems显示文摘The control synthesis for switched systems is extended to distributed parameter switched systems in Hilbert space. Based on semigroup and operator theory, by means of multiple Lyapunov method incorporated average dwell time approach, sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear operator inequalities framework for distributed parameter switched systems. Being applied to one dimensional heat propagation switched systems, these linear operator inequalities are reduced to linear matrix inequalities subsequently. In particular, the state feedback gain matrices and the switching law are designed, and the state decay estimate is explicitly given whose decay coefficient completely depends on the system's parameter and the boundary condition. 19GASEOUS REACTIVE NITROGEN LOSSES FROM ORCHARDS,VEGETABLES AND TEA PLANTATIONS显示文摘Nitrogen fertilizer application has accelerated the agricultural soil N cycle while ensuring food security.Gaseous reactive N emissions from orchards,vegetables and tea plantations(OVT)are less understood than those from cereal crops.This paper presents a compilation of data on soil ammonia,nitrous oxide,and nitric oxide emissions from 1454 OVT systems at 184 unique experimental locations worldwide aiming to investigate their emission characteristics,emission factors(EF),and contribution to total farmland emissions.NH_(3)and N_(2)O emissions from orchards and N_(2)O and NO emissions from vegetable production were significantly higher in China than in the rest of the world,regardless of fertilizer application,while N_(2)O emissions from tea plantations were lower than for vegetables.The EF of NH_(3)for vegetables was close to the global mean value with urea application but significantly higher than that of orchards.The EF of N_(2)O in orchards and vegetables was comparable to the global median value,while in tea plantations,the value was 2.3 times higher than the global median value.Current estimates suggest that direct emissions of NH_(3),N_(2)O,and NO from OVT systems are equivalent to approximately a quarter,two thirds and a half of the total farmland in China,respectively.Future research needs to strengthen observational field studies in establishing standard sampling methods for gaseous N emissions and implementing knowledge-based management measures to help achieve the green development of agriculture.Jinyang WANG Pinshang XU Haiyan LIN Shumin GUO Zhaoqiang HAN Jianwen ZOU 2023Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2023,10,2:0
20New type of adaptive control for a class of distributed time-delay systems with adaptation regard to delay parameter显示文摘The problem on stabilization for the system with distributed delays is researched. The distributed time-delay under consideration is assumed to be a constant time-delay, but not known exactly. A design method is proposed for a memory proportional and integral (PI) feedback controller with adaptation to distributed time-delay. The feedback controller with memory simultaneously contains the current state and the past distributed information of the addressed systems. The design for adaptation law to distributed delay is very concise. The controller can be derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).
