1Metal-organic framework-derived Fe/Cu-substituted Co nanoparticles embedded in CNTs-grafted carbon polyhedron for Zn-air batteries显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and MOF-derived materials have attracted great attention as alternatives to noble-metal based electrocatalysts owing to their intriguing structure properties,especially for high efficiency and stable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,we employed a one-pot reaction to make a multimetal(Fe,Co,Cu,and Zn)mixed zeolitic imidazolate framework(MM-ZIF)via adopting a simple in situ redox reaction.Further pyrolysis of the target MM-ZIF,a highly porous carbon polyhedron(FC-C@NC)grafted with abundant carbon nanotubes was obtained,in which ultrasmall Co nanoparticles with partial lattice sites substituted by Fe and Cu were embedded.The obtained FC-C@NC possessed large surface area,highly porous structure,widely-spread metal active sites,and conductive carbon frameworks,contributing to outstanding ORR activity and long-term stability.It displayed superior tolerance to methanol crossover and exceeded the commercial Pt/C catalyst and most previously reported non-noble-metal catalysts.Impressively,the as-produced FC-C@NC-based zinc-air battery afforded an open-circuit potential of 1.466 V,a large specific capacity of 659.5 mAh/g,and a high gravimetric energy density of 784.3 Wh/kgZn,significantly outperforming the Pt/C-based cathode.Kexin Zhang Yelong Zhang Qinghua Zhang Zibin Liang Lin Gu Wenhan Guo Bingjun Zhu Shaojun Guo Ruqiang Zou 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,2:7
2Super enhancer inhibitors suppress MYC driven transcriptional amplification and tumor progression in osteosarcoma显示文摘Osteosarcoma is the most common primary bone sarcoma that mostly occurs in young adults. The causes of osteosarcoma are heterogeneous and still not fully understood. Identification of novel, important oncogenic factors in osteosarcoma and development of better, effective therapeutic approaches are in urgent need for better treatment of osteosarcoma patients. In this study, we uncovered that the oncogene MYC is significantly upregulated in metastastic osteosarcoma samples. In addition, high MYC expression is associated with poor survival of osteosarcoma patients. Analysis of MYC targets in osteosarcoma revealed that most of the osteosarcoma super enhancer genes are bound by MYC. Treatment of osteosarcoma cells with super enhancer inhibitors THZ1 and JQ1 effectively suppresses the proliferation, migration, and invasion of osteosarcoma cells. Mechanistically,THZ1 treatment suppresses a large group of super enhancer containing MYC target genes including CDK6 and TGFB2. 6EB病毒膜潜伏蛋白LMP-1筛选鼻咽癌的初步结果(英文)显示文摘Objective: Early diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is an important method to improve the survival rate.However,the sensitivity and specificity of the screening protocols which was widely used in clinic now are considered to be unsatisfactory.Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-encoded latent membrane protein-1 (LMP-1) is one of the proteins that have been suggested to be a classic oncogene with transformation properties.The current study set out to discuss the clinical significance of LMP-1 on the screening of NPC.Methods: Three hundred patients who visited our institution (Department of Radiation Oncology,Fujian Provincial Cancer Hospital,Fuzhou,China) with ENT symptoms between 2007 and 2008 were involved in this study,and all of them were agreed to be involved in this investigation.Not only did they undergo nasopharyngeal swab to obtain cells for the LMP-1 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis,but also nasopharyngeal biopsy were taken to identify the diagnosis.Results: An amount of DNA that was sufficient for PCR was extracted from 243 (81%) swab samples,the positive rate of LMP-1 of those with non-nasopharyngeal carcinoma was 3.85% (4/108),which was much lower than those with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (P < 0.05).By detecting LMP-1 in nasopharyngeal swabs,NPC was diagnosed with a sensitivity of 88.15% (119 of 135 patients),specificity of 96.30% (104 of 108 patients),a positive predictive value of 95.2% (119 of 123 patients),a negative predictive value of 86.67% (104 of 120 patients),accuracy of 91.77%,and Youden index of 84.45%.Conclusion: The nasopharyngeal swab coupled with PCR-based EBV LMP-1 detection have high sensitivity and specificity,and also good repeatability,it could serve as part of the screening program for high-risk populations.Shaojun Lin Qiaojuan Guo Jin Lin Jingfeng Zong Lu Han Jianji Pan 2011The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,1:2

16Cell type-specific proteomics uncovers a RAF15-SnRK2.6/OST1 kinase cascade in guard cells显示文摘Multicellular organisms such as plants contain various cell types with specialized functions.Analyzing the characteristics of each cell type reveals specific cell functions and enhances our understanding of organization and function at the organismal level.Guard cells(GCs)are specialized epidermal cells that regulate the movement of the stomata and gaseous exchange,and provide a model genetic system for analyzing cell fate,signaling,and function.Several proteomics analyses of GC are available,but these are limited in depth.Here we used enzymatic isolation and flow cytometry to enrich GC and mesophyll cell protoplasts and perform in-depth proteomics in these two major cell types in Arabidopsis leaves.We identified approximately 3,000 proteins not previously found in the GC proteome and more than600 proteins that may be specific to GC.The depth of our proteomics enabled us to uncover a guard cell-specific kinase cascade whereby Raf15and Snf1-related kinase2.6(SnRK2.6)/OST1(open stomata 1)mediate abscisic acid(ABA)-induced stomatal closure.RAF15 directly phosphorylated SnRK2.6/OST1 at the conserved Ser175 residue in its activation loop and was sufficient to reactivate the inactive form of SnRK2.6/OST1.ABAtriggered SnRK2.6/OST1 activation and stomatal closure was impaired in raf15 mutants.We also showed enrichment of enzymes and flavone metabolism in GC,and consistent,dramatic accumulation of flavone metabolites.Our study answers the long-standing question of how ABA activates SnRK2.6/OST1 in GCs and represents a resource potentially providing further insights into the molecular basis of GC and mesophyll cell development,metabolism,structure,and function.Hongliang Wang Yubei Wang Tian Sang Zhen Lin Rongxia Li Weiwei Ren Xin Shen Bing Zhao Xiao Wang Xuebin Zhang Shaoqun Zhou Shaojun Dai Honghong Hu Chun-Peng Song Pengcheng Wang 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,9:0
17Bound states in the continuum in all-dielectric metasurfaces with scaled lattice constants显示文摘Bound states in the continuum(BICs)have emerged as an efficient tool for trapping light at the nanoscale,promising several exciting applications in photonics.Breaking the structural symmetry has been proposed as an effective way of exciting quasiBICs(QBICs)and generating high-Q resonances.Herein,we demonstrate that QBICs can be excited in an all-dielectric metasurface by scaling the lattice of the metasurface,causing translational symmetry breaking.The corresponding BICs arise from band folding from the band edge to the Γ point in the first Brillouin zone.Multipole analysis reveals that the toroidal dipole dominates these QBICs.Furthermore,scaling the lattice along different directions provides additional freedom for tailoring QBICs,enabling polarization-dependent or-independent QBICs.In addition,this allows the realization of two QBICs at different wavelengths using plane-wave illumination with different polarizations on the metasurface.We experimentally demonstrated the existence of these BICs by fabricating silicon metasurfaces with scaled lattices and measuring their transmission spectra.The vanished resonant linewidth identifies BICs in the transmission spectrum,and the QBICs are characterized by highQ Fano resonances with the Q-factor reaching 2000.Our results have potential applications in enhancing light-matter interaction,such as laser,nonlinear harmonic generation,and strong coupling.Mimi Zhou Shaojun You Lei Xu Menghui Fan Jing Huang Wenbin Ma Mingzhe Hu Shengyun Luo Mohsen Rahmani Ya Cheng Lin Li Chaobiao Zhou Lujun Huang Andrey E.Miroshnichenko 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,12:0

19An in-situ NH_(4)^(+)-etched strategy for anchoring atomic Mo site on ZnIn_(2)S_(4) hierarchical nanotubes for superior hydrogen photocatalysis显示文摘Atomic sites co-catalyst (ASC) on photocatalytic materials possesses an attractive prospect to promote charge carrier separation and tune surface reaction kinetics,yet the synthesis of earth-abundant ASC under low temperature remains a great challenge.Here,a novel in-situ NH_(4)^(+)-etched strategy to anchor atomic Mo sites on ZnIn_(2)S_(4)hierarchical nanotubes (HNTs) with abundant mesopores under mild conditions for promoting charge carrier separation and enhancing light multi-reflections is developed for efficient photocatalytic H_(2) evolution.Density functional theory calculations and linear sweep voltammetry demonstrate that the well-defined Mo-S_(2)O_(1) sites with distinctive coordination configuration and electronic property contribute to the enhanced separation of photo-generated charge carriers and reduced Gibbs free energy for H_(2) evolution.Consequently,the well-defined MoSA-ZIS HNTs present an excellent photocatalytic activity with a rate of 29.9μmol h^(-1)(5.98 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1)),which is 7.3 times higher than that of ZnIn_(2)S_(4)nanosheets (NSs),to be among the best ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-based photocatalysts.The present strategy breaks the high-temperature limitation of conventional top-down thermal dissociation/emitting approach for anchoring non-noble metal atomic sites on catalyst support.Yuguang Chao Weiyu Zhang Peng Zhou Hui Chen Shiyu Lu Menggang Li Qinghua Zhang Lin Gu Shaojun Guo 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,10:0
20Photostimulation of lymphatic clearance ofβ‑amyloid from mouse brain:a new strategy for the therapy of Alzheimer’s disease显示文摘Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is an age-related neurodegenerative disorder that poses a signifcant burden on socio-economic and healthcare systems worldwide.However,the currently available therapy of AD is limited,and new strategies are needed to enhance the clearance ofβ-amyloid(Aβ)protein and improve cognitive function.Photobiomodulation(PBM)is a noninvasive and efective therapeutic method that has shown promise in treating various brain diseases.Here,we demonstrate that 1267-nm PBM signifcantly alleviates cognitive decline in the 5xFAD mouse model of AD and is safe as it does not induce a signifcant increase in cortical temperature.Moreover,with the combination of 3D tissue optical clearing imaging and automatic brain region segmentation,we show that PBM-mediated reductions of Aβplaques in diferent subregions of prefrontal cortex and the hippocampus are diferent.The PBM-induced lymphatic clearance of Aβfrom the brain is associated with improvement of memory and cognitive functions in 5xFAD mice.Our results suggest that the modulation of meningeal lymphatic vessels(MLVs)should play an important role in promoting Aβclearance.Collectively,this pilot study demonstrates that PBM can safely accelerate lymphatic clearance of Aβfrom the brain of 5xFAD mice,promoting improvement of neurocognitive status of AD animals suggesting that PBM can be an efective and bedside therapy for AD.Dongyu Li Hao Lin Silin Sun Shaojun Liu Zhang Liu Yuening He Jingtan Zhu Jianyi Xu Oxana Semyachkina‑Glushkovskaya Tingting Yu Dan Zhu 2023Frontiers of Optoelectronics2023,16,4:0
