1Water content in the early Cretaceous lithospheric mantle beneath the south-central Taihang Mountains: implications for the destruction of the North China Craton显示文摘Based on studies of the water content of the early Cretaceous Feixian high-magnesium basalts in the eastern part of the North China Craton(NCC),it has been suggested that the early Cretaceous lithospheric mantle of the eastern NCC was highly hydrous([1,000 ppm,H2O wt.)and that this high water content had significantly reduced the viscosity of the lithospheric mantle and provided a prerequisite for the destruction of the NCC.The eastern part of the NCC had undergone multistage subduction of oceanic plates from the south,north,and east sides since the early Paleozoic,and these events may have caused the strong hydration of the NCC lithospheric mantle.To determine which subduction had contributed most to this hydration,we measured the water contents of the peridotite xenoliths hosted by the early Cretaceous high-magnesium diorites of Fushan in the southcentral part of the Taihang Mountains.Our results demonstrate that the water content of the early Cretaceous lithospheric mantle beneath the south part of the Taihang Mountains was*40 ppm and significantly lower than that of the contemporary lithospheric mantle beneath the eastern part of the NCC.Thus,the hydration of the early Cretaceous lithospheric mantle of the eastern part of the NCC can be ascribed to the subduction of the Pacific plate from the west side.Thus,the main dynamic factor in the destruction of the NCC was likely the subduction of the Pacific plate.Shaochen Liu Qunke Xia 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,13:7

3Two-dimensional optical spatial differentiation and high-contrast imaging显示文摘Optical analog signal processing technology has been widely studied and applied in a variety of science and engineering fields, with the advantages of overcoming the low-speed and high-power consumption associated with its digital counterparts. Much attention has been given to emerging metasurface technology in the field of optical imaging and processing systems. Here, we demonstrate, for the first time, broadband two-dimensional spatial differentiation and high-contrast edge imaging based on a dielectric metasurface across the whole visible spectrum. This edge detection method works for both intensity and phase objects simply by inserting the metasurface into a commercial optical microscope. 4Tooth loss inhibits neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus of adult mice显示文摘Tooth loss has been shown to affect learning and memory in mice and increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease. The dentate gyrus is strongly associated with cognitive function. This study hypothesized that tooth loss affects neurons in the dentate gyrus. Adult male mice were randomly assigned to either the tooth loss group or normal control group. In the tooth loss group, the left maxillary and mandibular molars were extracted. Normal control mice did not receive any intervention. Immunofluorescence staining revealed that the density and absorbance of doublecortin- and neuronal nuclear antigen-positive cells were lower in the tooth loss group than in the normal control group. 5Microbial Diversity in Rhizosphere Soil of Cotinus coggygria Based on High Throughput Sequencing显示文摘In order to reveal the influence of different plant configurations on the microbial community structure and diversity in rhizosphere soil of Cotinus coggygria in Fragrant Hills park,the ITS+5.8S rDNA gene and 16S rDNA gene V3-V4 region sequencing analysis for fungi and bacteria,respectively,were conducted by high throughput sequencing(Illumina MiSeq).The results showed that the fungal diversity in the rhizosphere soil samples of C.coggygria in Fragrant Hills park in 2018 was significantly higher than that in 2016,and it was higher in the rhizosphere soil of healthy C.coggygria in Xunlupo than that in diseased ones in 2018.Verticillium dahliae,which is the causal agent of C.coggygria wilt,was detected in five soil samples.In 2018,the bacterial diversity in the rhizosphere soil of diseased C.coggygria in Xunlupo was the lowest,while it was the highest in the rhizosphere soil of healthy C.coggygria under Platycladus orientalis in Langfengting.Zhou Jianghong Xia Fei Che Shaochen Ge Yuxuan Zhou Xiaohong 2019Plant Diseases and Pests2019,10,5:3
6A triboelectric/electromagnetic hybrid generator for efficient wind energy collection and power supply for electronic devices显示文摘Harvesting energy from ambient environment has been considered as a promising strategy for driving portable electronic devices in a sustainable way. A wind driven triboelectric-electromagnetic hybrid nanogenerator has been fabricated to convert wind energy into electricity. It is composed of an electromagnetic generator(EMG) and a triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG) with the output power of 35 and 0.32 mW, respectively when the wind speed is 5 m/s. Generally, TENG shows a low current output with a high voltage output characteristic, on the contrary the EMG shows a high current output and a low voltage output. This hybrid nanogenerator overcomes these problems and exhibits comprehensive and efficient performance on scavenging energy.Moreover, in view of the output performance and charging ability of the hybrid nanogenerator, it shows high stability, making it suitable for charging capacitors or batteries and driving portable electronics sustainably. 9A new component maps correction method using variable geometric parameters显示文摘Accurate engine performance models are important for model-based performance evaluation of aero engine.The accuracy of the model often depends on engine component maps,so there is a need for a method that can accurately correct the component maps of the model over a wide range.In this paper,a new method for modifying component maps is proposed,this method combines the correction of the scaling factors with the solution process of the off-design working point,and uses the adjustment of the variable geometric parameters of the engine to change the position of the working line,in order to obtain more correction results and guarantee high accuracy in a wider range.The method is validated by taking the main fan of the Adaptive Cycle Engine(ACE),an ideal power unit for a new generation of multi-purpose and ultra-wide working range aircraft,as an example.The results show that the maximum error between the corrected component maps and the target maps is less than 1%.New possibility for more precise component maps can be realized in this paper.Shaochen LI Hailong TANG Min CHEN 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,4:1

12Effects of electromagnetic radiation on spatial memory and synapses in rat hippocampal CA1显示文摘In this study,we investigated the effects of mobile phone radiation on spatial learning,reference memory,and morphology in related brain regions.After the near-field radiation(0.52-1.08 W/kg) was delivered to 8-week-old Wistar rats 2 hours per day for 1 month,behavioral changes were examined using the Morris water maze.Compared with the sham-irradiated rats,the irradiated rats exhibited impaired performance.Morphological changes were investigated by examining synaptic ultrastructural changes in the hippocampus.Using the physical dissector technique,the number of pyramidal neurons,the synaptic profiles,and the length of postsynaptic densities in the CA1 region were quantified stereologically.The morphological changes included mitochondrial degenerations,fewer synapses,and shorter postsynaptic densities in the radiated rats.These findings indicate that mobile phone radiation can significantly impair spatial learning and reference memory and induce morphological changes in the hippocampal CA1 region.Yuhong Li Changhua Shi Guobing Lu Qian Xu Shaochen Liu 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,16:1
13Bioresponsive immune-booster-based prodrug nanogel for cancer immunotherapy显示文摘The combination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy motivates a potent immune system by triggering immunogenic cell death(ICD), showing great potential in inhibiting tumor growth and improving the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment(ITM). However, the therapeutic effectiveness has been restricted by inferior drug bioavailability. Herein, we reported a universal bioresponsive doxorubicin(DOX)-based nanogel to achieve tumor-specific co-delivery of drugs. DOX-based mannose nanogels(DM NGs) was designed and choosed as an example to elucidate the mechanism of combined chemo-immunotherapy. As expected, the DM NGs exhibited prominent micellar stability, selective drug release and prolonged survival time, benefited from the enhanced tumor permeability and prolonged blood circulation. We discovered that the DOX delivered by DM NGs could induce powerful antitumor immune response facilitated by promoting ICD. Meanwhile, the released mannose from DM NGs was proved as a powerful and synergetic treatment for breast cancer in vitro and in vivo, via damaging the glucose metabolism in glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid cycle. 14Glyphosate exposure deteriorates oocyte meiotic maturation via induction of organelle dysfunctions in pigs显示文摘Background:Recently,defects in mammalian oocytes maturation induced by environmental pollution results in the decreasing animal reproduction.Animal exposed to glyphosate is largely unavoidable because glyphosate is one of the most widely used herbicide worldwide due to its high-efficiency and broad-spectrum effects,which causes glyphosate an environmental contaminant found in soil,water and food.During the last few years,the growing and wider use of glyphosate has raised great concerns about its effects of reproductive toxicity.In this study,using porcine models,we investigated effects of glyphosate on organelle functions during oocyte meiosis.Results:The results showed glyphosate exposure disrupted porcine oocyte maturation.Expression levels of cumulus expansion-related genes were interfered,further indicating the meiotic defects.The damaging effects were mediated by destruction of mitochondrial distribution and functions,which induced ROS accumulation and oxidative stress,also indicated by the decreased mRNA expression of related antioxidant enzyme genes.We also found an interference of endoplasmic reticulum(ER)distribution,disturbance of Ca^(2+)homeostasis,as well as fluctuation of ER stress,showing with the reduced ER stress-related mRNA or protein expression,which could indicate the dysfunction of ER for protein processing and signal transduction in glyphosate-exposed oocytes.Moreover,glyphosate exposure induced the disruption of lysosome function for autophagy,showing with the decrease of LAMP2 expression and autophagy-related genes mRNA expression.Additionally,our data showed the distribution of Golgi apparatus and the functions of ribosome were disturbed after glyphosate exposure,which might affect protein synthesis and transport.Conclusions:Collectively,our study showed that exposed to glyphosate could affect animal reproduction by compromising the quality of oocytes through its wide toxic effects on organelle functions.Chunhua Xing Shun Chen Yue Wang Zhennan Pan Yuanjing Zou Shaochen Sun Zili Ren Yu Zhang 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,6:1
