| 3 | Nanoparticle monolayer-based flexible strain gauge with ultrafast dynamic response for acoustic vibration detection显示文摘The relatively poor dynamic response of current flexible strain gauges has prevented their wide adoption in portable electronics. In this work, we present a greatly improved flexible strain gauge, where one strip of Au nanoparticle (NP) monolayer assembled on a polyethylene terephthalate film is utilized as the active unit. The proposed flexible gauge is capable of responding to applied stimuli without detectable hysteresis via electron tunneling between adjacent nanoparticles within the Au NP monolayer. Based on experimental quantification of the time and frequency domain dependence of the electrical resistance of the proposed strain gauge, acoustic vibrations in the frequency range of 1 to 20,000 Hz could be reliably detected. | 5 | Antiferromagnetic element Mn modified PtCo truncated octahedral nanoparticles with enhanced activity and durability for direct methanol fuel cells显示文摘Pt-based magnetic nano catalysts are one of the most suitable cand idates for electrocatalytic materials due to their high electrochemistry activity and retrievability.Unfortunately,the inferior durability prevents them from being scaled-up,limiting their commercial applications.Herein,an antiferromagnetic element Mn was introduced into PtCo nanostructured alloy to synthesize uniform Mn-PtCo truncated octahedral nanoparticles(TONPs)by one-pot method.Our results show that Mn can tune the blocking temperature of Mn-PtCo TONPs due to its an tiferromag netism.At low temperatures,Mn-PtCo TONPs are ferromag netic,and the coercivity in creases gradually with in creasi ng Mn contents.At room temperature,the Mn-PtCo TONPs display superparamag netic behavior,which is greatly helpful for in dustrial recycling.Mn doping can not only modify the electronic structure of PtCo TONPs but also enhanee electrocatalytic performance for methanol oxidation reaction.The maximum specific activity of Mn-PtCo-3 reaches 8.1 A`m^-2,3.6 times of commercial Pt/C(2.2 A·m^-2)and 1.4 times of PtCo TONPs(5.6 A`m^-2),respectively.The mass activity decreases by only 30%after 2,000 cycles,while it is 45%and 99%(nearly inactive)for PtCo TONPs and commercial Pt/C catalysts,respectively. | Qiqi Zhang Jialong Liu Tianyu Xia Jie Qi Haochang Lyu Baoyuan Luo Rongming Wang Yizhong Guo Lihua Wang and Shouguo Wang | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,10: | 5 |
| 6 | Coastal Erosion Along the West Coast of the Taiwan Strait and It’s Influencing Factors显示文摘Based on the field surveys and repeated cross-profile observations combined with the comparison of many years’ topog-raphic maps,this study shows the spatial variability and varying patterns of coastal erosion along the west coast of the Taiwan Strait.Regional differentiation in the Meso-Cenozoic coastal tectonics determined the irregular coastline and geological background for large-scale coastal erosion distribution.The intensity of coastal erosion on the west side of the Taiwan Strait is mild in the northern region,severe in the central region and modest in the southern region.The beaches along the coast are mainly backed by dunes,sea-walls or cliffs.The dunes and beaches show periodic erosion and recovery along the coast adjacent to river mouths,while persistent retreat of frontal dunes and beaches tends to occur in other areas.The beach erosion occurs mainly in front of seawalls.Due to the low strength of the unconsolidated sediment the soft cliffs suffer the severest coastline recession.Sea level rise and river sediment discharge reduction are main causes of coastal erosion.Storm surge is common in the studied area and plays an important role in the progress of coastal erosion.Human activities including coastal constructions and sand mining also tend to interfere strongly with the balance of sediment budget in some coastal cells. | LIU Jianhui CAI Feng QI Hongshuai LEI Gang CAO Lihua | 2011 | Journal of Ocean University of China2011,10,1: | 4 |
| 7 | Stability Analysis on Rotor Systems Supported by Self-acting Tilting-pad Gas Bearings with Frequency Effects显示文摘The recent research on stability of gas bearing-rotor systems still mostly adopts the same method as in oil-lubricated bearing-rotor systems.The dynamic coefficients of gas bearings in the case that the perturbation frequencies are same as the rotating speed are used to carry out the stability analysis of rotor systems.This method does not contact the frequency characteristics of dynamic stiffness and damping coefficients of gas bearings with the dynamical behaviors of rotor systems.Furthermore,the effects of perturbation frequencies on the stability of systems are not taken into account.In this paper,the dynamic stiffness and damping coefficients of tilting-pad gas bearings are calculated by the partial derivative method.On the base of solution of dynamic coefficients,two computational models are produced for stability analysis on rotor systems supported by tilting-pad gas bearings according to whether the degrees of the freedom of pads tilting motions are included in the equations of motion or not.In the condition of considering the frequency effects of dynamic coefficients of tilting-pad gas bearings,the corresponding eigenvalues of the rigid and first five vibration modes of the system with the working speeds of 8-30 kr/min are computed through iteratively solving the equations of motion of rotor-system by using two computational models,respectively.According to the obtained eigenvalues,the stability of rotor system is analyzed.The results indicate that the eigenvalues and the stability of rotor system obtained by these two computational models are well agreement each other.They all can more accurately analyze the stability of rotor systems supported by tilting-pad gas bearings.This research has important meaning for perfecting the stability analysis method of rotor systems supported by gas bearings. | YANG Lihua QI Shemiao GENG Haipeng YU Lie | 2011 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,3: | 4 |

| 9 | Graphene-wrapped multiloculated nickel ferrite:A highly efficient electromagnetic attenuation material for microwave absorbing and green shielding显示文摘Dedicating to the exploration of efficient electromagnetic(EM)absorption and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials is the main strategy to solve the EM radiation issues.The development of multifunction EM attenuation materials that are compatible together EM absorption and EMI shielding properties is deserved our exploration and study.Here,the graphenewrapped multiloculated NiFe_(2)O_(4) composites are reported as multifunction EM absorbing and EMI shielding materials.The conductive networks configurated by the overlapping flexible graphene promote the riched polarization genes,as well as electron transmission paths,and thus optimize the dielectric constant of the composites.Meanwhile,the introduction of magnetic NiFe_(2)O_(4) further establishes the magnetic-dielectric synergy effect.The abundant non-homogeneous interfaces not only generate effective interfacial polarization,also the deliberate multiloculated structure of NiFe_(2)O_(4) strengthens multi-scattering and multi-reflection sites to expand the transmission path of EM waves.As it turns out,the best impedance matching is matched at a lower filled concentration to achieve the strongest reflection loss value of−48.1 dB.Simultaneously,green EMI shielding based on a predominantly EM absorption and dissipation is achieved by an enlargement of the filled concentration,which is helpful to reduce the secondary EM wave reflection pollution to the environment.In addition,the electrocatalytic properties are further examined.The graphene-wrapped multiloculated NiFe_(2)O_(4) shows the well electrocatalytic activity as electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),which is mainly attributed to the interconnected structures formed by graphene and NiFe_(2)O_(4) connection.The structural advantages of multiloculated NiFe_(2)O_(4) expose more active sites,which plays an important role in optimizing catalytic reactions.This work provides an excellent jumping-off point for the development of multifunction EM absorbing materials,eco-friendliness EMI shielding materials and electrocatalysts. | Yuchang Wang Lihua Yao Qi Zheng Mao-Sheng Cao | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,7: | 3 |
| 10 | Impact of Land Use Change on Vegetation Carbon Storage During Rapid Urbanization:A Case Study of Hangzhou,China显示文摘Land use changes have significant impacts on the carbon balance in an urban ecosystem.When there is rapid development in urbanizing regions,land use changes have a dramatic effect on vegetation carbon storage(VCS).This study investigates the impact of land use change on VCS in a period of rapid urbanization in Hangzhou,China.The results show that:1)from 2000 to 2015,land use in Hangzhou underwent huge changes,mainly reflected in decrease in cropland and wetland and the increased settlement.More than 34.58%of the land was transformed,and the land use changes are primarily characterized by a significant decrease in cropland due to the occupation by settlement.2)over the 15 years,changes in land use led to a decrease of 3.93×10^(5) t of VCS in the urban ecosystem.The large-scale transformation of cropland and wetland,which have a comparatively high carbon density,into land for settlement exerted a negative impact on VCS.3)The central city,which with the Circle-E/I/O mode,had the lowest comprehensive land use dynamic degree,leading to moderate land use change and an increase in VCS;Yuhang and Xiaoshan,which with Multicore-E/O/I mode and Fan-E/O/I modes,had a higher comprehensive land use dynamic degree,drastic changes in land use,and a decrease in VCS.This study proposes a reliable method of estimating changes in VCS,clarifies the relationship between land use change and VCS during rapid urbanization,and provides recommendations for sustainable urban development. | WANG Zhi XU Lihua SHI Yijun MA Qiwei WU Yaqi LU Zhangwei MAO Liwei PANG Enqi ZHANG Qi | 2021 | Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,2: | 3 |

| 15 | Regulating bifunctional flower-like NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene for green EMI shielding and lithium ion storage显示文摘Environment and energy are the eternal hot topics in the world,multiloculated microscale materials have attracted great attention in the field of electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding and lithium ions storage.Herein,a novel flower-like NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite with adjustable structure was fabricated as EMI shielding material and anode material of lithium-ion batteries.NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite is a potential green EMI shielding material.The EMI shielding effectiveness(SE)increases with the increase of graphene content in NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite,and the total EMI SE of NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene with 73.6 wt.%graphene increases from 26.5 to 40.6 d B with the increase of frequency in 2–18 GHz.Furthermore,it exhibits long-life and large capacity lithium storage performance at high current density.The capacity reaches 732.79 m Ah g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1),recovering to more than 139%from the minimum capacity value.After 300 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1),the capacity increases to 688.5 mAh g^(-1).The initial capacities at 2 and 5 A g^(-1)are 704.9 and 717.8 mAh g^(-1),and remain 297.9 and 203.2 m Ah g^(-1)after 1000 cycles.The distinguished EMI shielding performance and electrochemical performance are mainly ascribed to the structure regulation of NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite,as well as the synergistic effect of graphene and NiFe_(2)O_(4).This research opens up infinite opportunities for the application of multifunctional and interdisciplinary materials. | Lihua Yao Wenqiang Cao Jianguo Zhao Qi Zheng Yuchang Wang Shang Jiang Qiliang Pan Jie Song Youqi Zhu Maosheng Cao | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32: | 2 |
