2Active Tectonics and Erosional Unloading at the Eastern Margin of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau is marked by an extremely steep mountain front with relief of over 5 km. This topography,coupled with abundant Mesozoic thrusts within the margin,explains why tectonic maps of the India-Asia collision typically show the eastern margin as a major thrust zone. Actually,it does not like that. Field observations suggest that the margin is better characterized as a zone of NNE-directed dextral shear with extensive strike-slip faulting and secondary thrusting. The high relief and steep gradients are partially explained by erosional unloading of an elastic lithosphere;the pre-erosion inherited topography may be the inherited Mesozoic thrust belt landscape modified by a component of Cenozoic tectonic shortening.Alexander L. 3Acupuncture at Baihui and Dazhui reduces brain cell apoptosis in heroin readdicts显示文摘Acupuncture at Baihui(GV20) and Dazhui(GV14) reduces neuronal loss and attenuates ultrastructural damage in cerebral ischemic rats. However, whether acupuncture can treat addiction and prevent readdiction through changes to brain cell ultrastructure remains unknown. In this study, cell apoptosis was observed in the hippocampus and frontal lobe of heroin readdicted rats by electron microscopy. Immunohistochemical staining displayed a reduction in Bcl-2 expression and an increase in Bax expression in the hippocampus and frontal lobe. After rats were given acupuncture at Baihui and Dazhui, the pathological damage in the hippocampus and frontal lobe was significantly reduced, Bcl-2 expression was upregulated and Bax expression was downregulated. Acupuncture exerted a similar effect with methadone, a commonly used drug for clinical treatment of drug addiction. 6On deep holes of standard Reed-Solomon codes显示文摘Determining deep holes is an important open problem in decoding Reed-Solomon codes. It is well known that the received word is trivially a deep hole if the degree of its Lagrange interpolation polynomial equals the dimension of the Reed-Solomon code. For the standard Reed-Solomon codes [p-1, k]p with p a prime, Cheng and Murray conjectured in 2007 that there is no other deep holes except the trivial ones. In this paper, we show that this conjecture is not true. In fact, we find a new class of deep holes for standard Reed-Solomon codes [q-1, k]q with q a power of the prime p. Let q≥4 and 2≤k≤q-2. We show that the received word u is a deep hole if its Lagrange interpolation polynomial is the sum of monomial of degree q-2 and a polynomial of degree at most k-1. 7GABAergic Abnormalities Associated with Sensorimotor Corticostriatal Community Structural Deficits in ErbB4 Knockout Mice and First-Episode Treatment-Naive Patients with Schizophrenia显示文摘The current study was designed to explore how disruption of specific molecular circuits in the cerebral cortex may cause sensorimotor cortico-striatal community structure deficits in both a mouse model and patients with schizophrenia.We used prepulse inhibition(PPI)and brain structural and diffusion MRI scans in 23 mice with conditional ErbB4 knockout in parvalbumin interneurons and 27 matched controls.Quantitative real-time PCR was used to assess the differential levels of GABA-related transcripts in brain regions.Concurrently,we measured structural and diffusion MRI and the cumulative contribution of risk alleles in the GABA pathway genes in firstepisode treatment-naı¨ve schizophrenic patients(n=117)and in age-and sex-matched healthy controls(n=86).We present the first evidence of gray and white matter impairment of right sensorimotor cortico-striatal networks and reproduced the sensorimotor gating deficit in a mouse model of schizophrenia.Significant correlations between gray matter volumes(GMVs)in the somatosensory cortex and PPI as well as glutamate decarboxylase 1 mRNA expression were found in controls but not in knockout mice.Furthermore,these findings were confirmed in a human sample in which we found significantly decreased gray and white matter in sensorimotor cortico-striatal networks in schizophrenic patients.The psychiatric risk alleles of the GABA pathway also displayed a significant negative correlation with the GMVs of the somatosensory cortex in patients.Our study identified that ErbB4 ablation in parvalbumin interneurons induced GABAergic dysregulation,providing valuable mechanistic insights into the sensorimotor cortico-striatal community structure deficits associated with schizophrenia.Chengcheng Zhang Peiyan Ni Yikang Liu Yang Tian Jinxue Wei Bo Xiang Liansheng Zhao Xiaojing Li Xiaohong Ma Wei Deng Wanjun Guo Rongjun Ni Yamin Zhang Qiang Wang Hailiang Huang Nanyin Zhang Tao Li 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,2:9
8Squint-mode InISAR imaging based on nonlinear least square and coordinates transform显示文摘Aiming at the interferometric inverse synthetic aperture radar(InISAR) imaging in the presence of squint,we investigate the influence of squint on the InISAR imaging. First,coupling of the squint additive phase and the target azimuth/altitude coordinates to be solved may make the solution more difficult. Second,the squint angle may lead to estimation error of the vertical coordinates and distortion of the ultimate image. Traditional InISAR imaging algorithms can not solve the above two problems effectively,so we propose a new method which combines the nonlinear least square(NLS) and coordinates transform(CT) to estimate the target coordinates,and a three-dimensional(3-D) image consistent with the real target is obtained accordingly. 9Co-Seismic Surface Rupture and Recurrence Interval of Large Earthquakes along Damaoyaba-Litang Segment of the Litang Fault on the Eastern Margin of the Tibetan Plateau in China显示文摘The Litang fault is a left-lateral secondary shear zone in the Sichuan-Yunnan active block that accommodates the tectonic deformation associated with the eastward extrusion of the upper crust of the Tibetan Plateau. Based on 1 : 50 000 geological mapping of active faults, the Litang fault consists of three geometric segments, the Cuopuhu, Damaoyaba, and Litang segments, in the west of Litang, which are divided by the of Haizi Mountain uplift and the wide-angle bending and branching of the fault near Jinchanggou. This study also identifies the surface rupture of the A.D. 1890 earthquake, which is distributed intermittently along the ~28 km long Damaoyaba segments and ~25 km long Litang segments. The maximum horizontal displacement is 4.1 m along Damaoyaba segments, and 4 m along Litang segments. The rupture involves typical left-lateral shear movement. The two ruptures are divided by discontinuous segments or gaps that are ~18 km long;thus, the total surface rupture is approximately 71 km long. The estimated moment magnitude was M_(w)7.3±0.1. A comprehensive analysis of data obtained from 5 trenches excavated along the Damaoyaba and Litang segments and the trench data by Xu et al.(2005) identifies age constraints of the 4 most recent paleoseimic events occurred B.C. 1468±54–1340±25, B.C. 52±25–A.D. 76±47, A.D. 1115±90, and A.D. 1890, respectively. The recurrence intervals are 1 415±80, 1 104±104, and 775±90 a, which are consistent with quasi-periodic earthquake recurrence behavior. 10Composition and structure design of three-layered composite phosphors for high color rendering chip-on-board light-emitting diode devices显示文摘A three-layered phosphor structure was designed and prepared by the spin coating of BaSi_(2)N_(2)O_(2):Eu(cyan-emitting)and(Sr,Ca)AlSiN_(3):Eu(red-emitting)phosphor films on the yellowemitting Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12):Ce(YAG:Ce)phosphor ceramic synthesized by the solid-state reaction under vacuum sintering.In order to achieve high color rendering lighting,the influence of the composition and structure of the three-layered phosphors on the optical,thermal,and electrical properties of the chip-on-board(COB)packaged white-light-emitting diodes(WLEDs)was studied systematically.The WLED with the structure of“red+cyan+yellow”(R+C+Y)three-layered phosphor generated neutral white light and had a luminous efficacy of 75 lm/W,the fidelity index(R_(f))of 93,the gamut index(R_(g))of 97,and the correlated color temperature(CCT)of 3852 K.Under the excitation of laser diode(LD),the layer-structured phosphor yielded the white light with a luminous efficacy of 120 lm/W,color rendering index(CRI)of 90,and CCT of 5988 K.The result indicates that the three-layered phosphor structure is a promising candidate to achieve high color rendering and high luminous efficacy lighting.Xin LIU Xinglu QIAN Peng ZHENG Xiaopu CHEN Yagang FENG Yun SHI Jun ZOU Rongjun XIE Jiang LI 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,4:5

12The Coupling Relationship between the Uplift of Longmen Shan and the Subsidence of Foreland Basin,Sichuan,China显示文摘Depending on the analysis of the coeval sedimentary geometry and subsidence mechanism in the Longmen Shan foreland basin, three models about the coupling relationship between Longmen Shan uplift and foreland basin subsidence since the Indosinian have been proposed:(1) crustal shortening and its related wide wedge-shaped foreland basin,(2) crustal isostatic rebound and its related tabular foreland basin, and(3) lower crustal flow and its related narrow wedge-shaped foreland basin. 13LncRNA OIP5-AS1 facilitates gastric cancer cell growth by targeting the miR-422a/ANO1 axis显示文摘OPA-interacting protein 5 antisense transcript 1(OIP5-AS1)plays an important regulatory role in various types of cancers.However,the functional role and regulatory mechanisms of OIP5-AS1 in gastric cancer(GC)remain largely unknown.In this study,we found that the expression of OIP5-AS1 was increased in GC tissues compared with that in adjacent non-cancerous tissues,which was significantly associated with shorter overall survival time of patients.In addition,OIP5-AS1 expression was also increased in GC cell lines including NC1-N87,MKN-45,BGC-823 and SGC-7901,when compared with that in normal gastric epithelial cell line GES-1.Knockdown of OIP5-AS1 markedly suppressed the proliferation and colony formation activities of GC cells,induced G0/G1 arrest and apoptosis of GC cells in vitro,and restrained tum or growth in vivo.Mechanistically,OIP5-AS1 functions as an oncogenic competing endogenous RNA by binding to and sequestering miR-422a to elevate the expression of anoctamin-1.Our study first demonstrated that OIP5-AS1 is a critical and powerful regulator of GC pathogenesis and may represent a novel candidate target for GC therapy.Rongjun Xie Longfei Liu Xianzhou Lu Yang Hu 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,4:4
14Anti-scattering light focusing by fast wavefront shaping based on multi-pixel encoded digital-micromirror device显示文摘Speed and enhancement are the two most important metrics for anti-scattering light focusing by wavefront shaping(WS),which requires a spatial light modulator with a large number of modulation modes and a fast speed of response.Among the commercial modulators,the digital-micromirror device(DMD)is the sole solution providing millions of modulation modes and a pattern rate higher than 20 kHz.Thus,it has the potential to accelerate the process of anti-scattering light focusing with a high enhancement.Nevertheless,modulating light in a binary mode by the DMD restricts both the speed and enhancement seriously.Here,we propose a multi-pixel encoded DMD-based WS method by combining multiple micromirrors into a single modulation unit to overcome the drawbacks of binary modulation.In addition,to efficiently optimize the wavefront,we adopted separable natural evolution strategies(SNES),which could carry out a global search against a noisy environment.Compared with the state-of-the-art DMD-based WS method,the proposed method increased the speed of optimization and enhancement of focus by a factor of 179 and 16,respectively.In our demonstration,we achieved 10 foci with homogeneous brightness at a high speed and formed W-and S-shape patterns against the scattering medium.The experimental results suggest that the proposed method will pave a new avenue for WS in the applications of biomedical imaging,photon therapy,optogenetics,dynamic holographic display,etc.Jiamiao Yang Qiaozhi He Linxian Liu Yuan Qu Rongjun Shao Bowen Song Yanyu Zhao 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,8:4
15Normalization of ventral tegmental area structure following acupuncture in a rat model of heroin relapse显示文摘Drugs can cause obvious damage to the brain. To verify the relationship between acupuncture, neurotrophic factor expression and brain cell structural changes, this study established a rat model of heroin relapse using intramuscular injection of increasing amounts of heroin. During the detoxification period, rat models received acupuncture at Baihui(DU20) and Dazhui(DU14). Electron microscopy demonstrated that the structure of the ventral tegmental area in heroin relapse rats gradually became normalized after acupuncture treatment. Immunohistochemical staining exhibited that the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor and glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor increased in the ventral tegmental area following acupuncture. Moreover, the effects were similar to that of methadone, a type of medicine called an opioid. 17Impact of technology advances on China's CO_2 emission reduction显示文摘Global warming tends to be the major characteristics of the dramatic global climate change.To deal with these changes,the impact of reducing greenhouse gas(GHG) emission on Chinese future economic and social development has to be assessed.In this paper,a Regional Integrated model of Climate and the Economy(RICE),which is well known and accepted widely,has been used for Chinese economic assessment of climate change after introduction,assimilation and verification.Based on a sensitivity analysis of technical parameters in the RICE model and constrained targets proposed for energy saving and emissions reduction technological advance programs of China from 2000 to 2050,the economic impact of the programs is examined.The results indicate that when technology advances,Chinese CO2 emission,climate loss,and the growth rate of atmospheric CO2 concentration and temperature will all decrease.It is assumed that in 2010,the CO2 emission is 20% lower than in 2005,CO2 emission in 2050 would only double the level in 2000,the accumulative CO2 emission would be decreased by 12.4 GtC,and the atmospheric CO2 concentration and temperature in 2050 would reduce by 35 GtC and 0.04°C respectively from 2000 to 2050.The accumulative climate loss from 2000 to 2050 will drop down by 4.6 billion dollar,which only accounts for 6% of the global total benefits.However,the economic benefit the developed countries will obtain is 10 times that for China under such a technological advance scenario.The decrease of the CO2 emission control rate is 1% in cooperation policy while 4.6% in non-cooperation policy,which would relieve China's burden in the control of CO2 total emission and thereby benefit China in participation of the international cooperation for CO2 emission reduction.ZHENG YouFei LI HaiTao WU RongJun WANG LianXi 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,19:4

19Enabling robust and hour-level organic long persistent luminescence from carbon dots by covalent fixation显示文摘The first carbon dot(CD)-based organic long persistent luminescence(OLPL)system exhibiting more than 1 h of duration was developed.In contrast to the established OLPL systems,herein,the reported CDs-based system(named m-CDs@CA)can be facilely and effectively fabricated using a household microwave oven,and more impressively,its LPL can be observed under ambient conditions and even in aqueous media.XRD and TEM characterizations,afterglow decay,time-resolved spectroscopy,and ESR analysis were performed,showing the successful composition of CDs and.CA,the formation of exciplexes and long-lived charged-separated states.Further studies suggest that the production of covalent bonds between CA and CDs plays pivotal roles in activating LPL and preventing its quenching from oxygen and water.To the best of our knowledge,this is a very rare example of an OLPL system that exhibits hourlevel afterglow under ambient conditions.Finally,applications of m-CDs@C.A in glow-in-the-dark paints for emergency signs and multicolored luminous pearls were preliminarily demonstrated.This work may provide new insights for the development of rare earth-free and robust OLPL materials.Kai Jiang Yuci Wang Cunjian Lin Licheng Zheng Jiaren Du Yixi Zhuang Rongjun Xie Zhongjun Li Hengwei Lin 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,4:3
