1估测作物冠层生物量的新植被指数的研究显示文摘冠层鲜生物量是指示作物长势状况的重要指标, 可用于诊断作物氮素营养状况。但常规测定生物量的方法需要破坏性取样,不利于帮助精准施肥管理决策。遥感技术作为快速分析手段可用于估测作物多种生理、生化参数,特别是借助植被指数。研究表明归一化差值植被指数(normalized difference vegetation index, NDVI)、最优土壤调节指数(optimization of soil-adjusted vegetation index, OSAVI)等现已构建植被指数可用于准确估测中低生物量信息,但在较高冠层生物量条件下,它们的估测能力显著下降。文章旨在提出更通用的新植被指数用于估测冠层生物量,以提高遥感技术在较高生物量条件下的预测准确度。试验在加拿大魁北克省的St-Jean-sur-Richelieu地区进行,5年(2004~2008)试验中采集了玉米及小麦不同生育期的地面高光谱数据及对应生物量信息,并在2005年获取航空机载高光谱影像一景(compact airborne spectrographic imager, CASI)。研究提出了红边三角植被指数(red-edge triangular vegetation index, RTVI),并将其与一些常见植被指数进行比较分析。结果表明RTVI是最好的估测冠层生物量的指数,在较高生物量条件下仍保持其对生物量变化的高敏感性,其与生物量间的决定系数为0.96。基于CASI影像,RTVI预测生物量值与实际测定值间的决定系数(R2)为0.58,预测标准误差为0.44 kg·m-2,取得了较好的结果。陈鹏飞 Nicolas Tremblay 王纪华 Philippe Vigneault 黄文江 李保国 2010光谱学与光谱分析2010,30,2:41
2Vascular invasion in pancreatic cancer:Imaging modalities,preoperative diagnosis and surgical management显示文摘Pancreatic cancer is associated with a poor prognosis,and surgical resection remains the only chance for curative therapy.In the absence of metastatic disease,which would preclude resection,assessment of vascular invasion is an important parameter for determining resectability of pancreatic cancer.A frequent error is to misdiagnose an involved major vessel.Obviously,surgical exploration with pathological examination remains the'gold standard'in terms of evaluation of resectability,especially from the point of view of vascular involvement.However,current imaging modalities have improved and allow detection of vascular invasion with more accuracy.A venous resection in pancreatic cancer is a feasible technique and relatively reliable.Nevertheless,a survival benefit is not achieved by curative resection in patients with pancreatic cancer and vascular invasion.Although the discovery of an arterial invasion during the operation might require an aggressive management,discovery before the operation should be considered as a contraindication.Detection of vascular invasion remains one of the most important challenges in pancreatic surgery.The aim of this article is to provide a complete review of the different imaging modalities in the detection of vascular invasion in pancreatic cancer.Nicolas C Buchs Michael Chilcott Pierre-Alexandre Poletti Leo H Buhler Philippe Morel 2010World Journal of Gastroenterology2010,16,7:29
3Segmental duodenectomy for gastrointestinal stromal tumor of the duodenum显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the results of segmental duodenectomy (SD) and pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) for duodenal gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) and help clinicians with surgical management. METHODS: All patients who underwent surgery for non-metastatic GIST of the duodenum in a single institution since 2000 were prospectively followed up. Seven patients (median age 51 years, range: 41-73 years) were enrolled: five underwent SD and two underwent PD. RESULTS: All the patients had a complete resection (R0), with no postoperative morbidity and mortality. Among the SD group, GIST was classified as low risk in two patients, intermediate risk in two, and high risk in one, according to the Fletcher scale, (vs two high risk patients in the PD group). With a median followup of 41 (18-85) mo, disease-free survival (DFS) rateswere 100% after SD and 0% after PD (P < 0.05). The median DFS was 13 mo in the PD group. 4Biological mesh reconstruction of the pelvic floor following abdominoperineal excision for cancer:A review显示文摘Extralevator abdominoperineal excision and pelvic exenteration are mutilating operations that leave wide perineal wounds.Such large wounds are prone to infection and perineal herniation,and their closure is a major concern to most surgeons.Different approaches to the perineal repair exist,varying from primary or mesh closure to myocutaneous flaps.Each technique has its own associated advantages and potential complications and the ideal approach is still debated.In the present study,we reviewed the current literature and our own local data regarding the use of biological mesh for perineal wound closure.Current evidence suggests that the use of biological mesh carries an acceptable risk of wound complications compared to primary closure and is similar to flap reconstruction.In addition,the rate of perineal hernia is lower in early follow-up,while long-term hernia occurrence appears to be similar between the different techniques.Finally,it is an easy and quick reconstruction method.Although more expensive than primary closure,the cost associated with the use of a biological mesh is at least equal,if not less,than flap reconstruction.Boris Schiltz Nicolas Christian Buchs Marta Penna Cosimo Riccardo Scarpa Emilie Liot Philippe Morel Frederic Ris 2017World Journal of Clinical Oncology2017,8,3:10

6Water limitation and rootstock genotype interact to alter grape berry metabolism through transcriptome reprogramming显示文摘Grapevine is a perennial crop often cultivated by grafting a scion cultivar on a suitable rootstock.Rootstocks influence scions,particularly with regard to water uptake and vigor.Therefore,one of the possibilities to adapt viticulture to the extended drought stress periods is to select rootstocks conferring increased tolerance to drought.However,the molecular mechanisms associated with the ability of rootstock/scion combination to influence grape berry metabolism under drought stress are still poorly understood.The transcriptomic changes induced by drought stress in grape berries(cv.Pinot noir)from vines grafted on either 110R(drought-tolerant)or 125AA(drought-sensitive)rootstock were compared.The experiments were conducted in the vineyard for two years and two grape berry developmental stages(50%and 100%veraison).The genome-wide microarray approach showed that water stress strongly impacts gene expression in the berries,through ontology categories that cover cell wall metabolism,primary and secondary metabolism,signaling,stress,and hormones,and that some of these effects strongly depend on the rootstock genotype.Indeed,under drought stress,berries from vines grafted on 110R displayed a different transcriptional response compared to 125AA-concerning genes related to jasmonate(JA),phenylpropanoid metabolism,and pathogenesis-related proteins.The data also suggest a link between JA and secondary metabolism in water-stressed berries.Overall,genes related to secondary metabolism and JA are more induced and/or less repressed by drought stress in the berries grafted on the drought-sensitive rootstock 125AA.These rootstock-dependent gene expression changes are relevant for berry composition and sensory properties.Mariam Berdeja Philippe Nicolas Christian Kappel Zhan Wu Dai Ghislaine Hilbert Anthony Peccoux Magali Lafontaine Nathalie Ollat Eric Gomès Serge Delrot 2015Horticulture Research2015,2,1:5
7Perforated duodenal diverticulum, a rare complication of a common pathology: A seven-patient case series显示文摘Duodenal diverticula (DD) are frequently encountered and are usually asymptomatic, with an incidence at autopsy of 22%. Perforation of DD is a rare complication (around 160 cases reported) with potentially dramatic consequences. However, little evidence regarding its treatment is available in the literature. The aim of this study was to review our experience of perforated DD, with a focus on surgical management. Between January 2001 and June 2011, all perforated DD were retrospectively reviewed at a single centre. Seven cases (5 women and 2 men; median age: 72.4 years old, rang: 48-91 years) were found. The median American Society of Anesthesiologists' score in this population was 3 (range: 3-4). The perforation was located in the second portion of duodenum (D2) in six patients and in the third portion (D3) in one patient. Six of these patients were treated surgically: five patients underwent DD resection with direct closure and one was treated by surgical drainage and laparostomy. One patient was treated conservatively. One patient died and one patient presented a leak that was successfully treated conservatively. The median hospital stay was 21.1 d (range: 15-30 d). Perforated DD is an uncommon presentation of a common pathology. 9Association of gene variants with susceptibility to type 2 diabetes among Omanis显示文摘AIM:To investigate the association of 10 known common gene variants with susceptibility to type 2diabetes mellitus(T2D)among Omanis.METHODS:Using case-control design,a total of992 diabetic patients and 294 normoglycemic Omani Arabs were genotyped,by an allelic discrimination assay-by-design TaqMan method on fast real time polymerase chain reaction system,for the following gene variants:KCNJ11(rs5219),TCF7L2(rs7903146),CDKAL1(rs10946398),CDKN2A/B(rs10811661),FTO(rs9939609 and rs8050136),IGF2BP2(rs4402960),SLC30A8(rs13266634)CAPN10(rs3792267)and HHEX(rs1111875).T2D patients were recruited from the Diabetes Clinic(n=243)and inpatients(n=749)at Sultan Qaboos Univesity Hospital(SQUH),Muscat,Oman.Adult control participants(n=294)were volunteers from the community and from those visiting Family Medicine Clinic at SQU,for regular medical checkup.The difficulty in recruiting Omani participants with no family history of diabetes was the main reason behind the small number of control participants in this study.Almost all volunteers questioned had a relativewith diabetes mellitus.Inspite of the small number of normoglycemic controls in this study,this sample was sufficient for detection of genes and loci for common alleles influencing T2D with an odds ratio of≥1.3reaching at least 80%power.Data was collected from June 2010 to February 2012.RESULTS:Using binary logistic regression analysis,four gene variants showed significant association with T2D risk:KCNJ11(rs5219,P=5.8×10^(-6),OR=1.74),TCF7L2(rs7903146,P=0.001,OR=1.46),CDKAL1(rs10946398,P=0.002,OR=1.44)and CDKN2A/B(rs10811661,P=0.020,OR=1.40).The fixation index analysis of these four gene variants indicated significant genetic differentiation between diabetics and controls{[KCNJ11(rs5219),P<0.001],[TCF7L2(rs7903146),P<0.001],[CDKAL1(rs10946398),P<0.05],[CDKN2A/B(rs10811661),P<0.05]}.The highest genotype variation%between diabetics and controls was found at KCNJ11(2.07%)and TCF7L2(1.62%).This study was not able to detect an association of T2D risk with gene variants of IGF2BP2(rs4402960),SLC30A8(rs13266634),CAPN10(rs3792267)and HHEX(rs1111875).Moreover,no association was found between FTO gene variants(rs9939609 and rs8050136)and T2D risk.However,T2D risk was found to be significantly associated with obesity(P=0.002,OR=2.22);and with the Waist-to-Hip ratio(n=532,P=1.9×10^(-7),OR=2.4),[among males(n=234,P=1.2×10^(-4),OR=2.0)and females(n=298,P=0.001,OR=6.3)].CONCLUSION:Results confirmed the association of KCNJ11(rs5219),TCF7L2(rs7903146),CDKAL1(rs10946398)and CDKN2A/B(rs10811661)gene variants with susceptibility to T2D among Omani Arabs.Sawsan Al-Sinani Nicolas Woodhouse Ali Al-Mamari Omaima Al-Shafie Mohammed Al-Shafaee Said Al-Yahyaee Mohammed Hassan Deepali Jaju Khamis Al-Hashmi Mohammed Al-Abri Khalid Al-Rassadi Syed Rizvi Yengo Loic Philippe Froguel Riad Bayoumi 2015World Journal of Diabetes2015,6,2:3

12Atmospheric photochemistry and secondary aerosol formation of urban air in Lyon,France显示文摘Photochemical aging of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in the atmosphere is an important source of secondary organic aerosol(SOA).To evaluate the formation potential of SOA at an urban site in Lyon(France),an outdoor experiment using a Potential Aerosol Mass(PAM)oxidation flow reactor(OFR)was conducted throughout entire days during JanuaryFebruary 2017.Diurnal variation of SOA formations and their correlation with OH radical exposure(OHexp),ambient pollutants(VOCs and particulate matters,PM),Relative Humidity(RH),and temperature were explored in this study.Ambient urban air was exposed to high concentration of OH radicals with OHexp in range of(0.2-1.2)×10^12 molecule/(cm^3·sec),corresponding to several days to weeks of equivalent atmospheric photochemical aging.The results informed that urban air at Lyon has high potency to contribute to SOA,and these SOA productions were favored from OH radical photochemical oxidation rather than via ozonolysis.Maximum SOA formation(36μg/m^3)was obtained at OHexp of about 7.4×10^11 molecule/(cm^3·sec),equivalent to approximately 5 days of atmospheric oxidation.The correlation between SOA formation and ambient environment conditions(RH&temperature,VOCs and PM)was observed.It was the first time to estimate SOA formation potential from ambient air over a long period in urban environment of Lyon.Salah Eddine Sbai Chunlin Li Antoinette Boreave Nicolas Charbonnel Sebastien Perrier Philippe Vernoux Farida Bentayeb Christian George Sonia Gil 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,1:2
