1Determination of Lignin in Marine Sediment Using Alkaline Cupric Oxide Oxidation-Solid Phase Extraction-on-Column Derivatization-Gas Chromatography显示文摘Lignin serves as one of the most important molecular fossils for tracing Terrestrial Organic Matters (TOMs) in marine environment. Extraction and derivatization of lignin oxidation products (LOPs) are crucial for accurate quantification of lignin in marine sediment. Here we report a modification of the conventional alkaline cupric oxide (CuO) oxidation method, the modification consisting in a solid phase extraction (SPE) and a novel on-column derivatization being employed for better efficiency and reproducibility. In spiking blanks, recoveries with SPE for the LOPs are between 77.84% and 99.57% with relative standard deviations (RSDs) ranging from 0.57% to 8.04% (n=3), while those with traditional liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) are from 44.52% to 86.16% with RSDs being from 0.53% to 13.14% (n=3). Moreover, the reproducibility is greatly improved with SPE, with less solvent consumption and shorter processing time. The average efficiency of on-column derivatization for LOPs is 100.8% ± 0.68%, which is significantly higher than those of in-vial or in-syringe derivatization, thus resulting in still less consumption of derivatizing reagents. Lignin in the surface sediments sampled from the south of Yangtze River estuary, China, was determined with the established method. Recoveries of 72.66% to 85.99% with standard deviation less than 0.01mg/10g dry weight are obtained except for p-hydroxyben-zaldehyde. The lignin content Σ8 (produced from 10 g dry sediment) in the research area is between 0.231 and 0.587 mg. S/V and C/V ratios (1.028 ± 0.433 and 0.192 ± 0.066, respectively) indicate that the TOMs in this region are originated from a mixture of woody and nonwoody angiosperm plants; the high values of (Ad/Al) v suggest that the TOMs has been highly degraded.ZHANG Ting LI Xianguo SUN Shuwen LAN Haiqing DU Peirui WANG Min 2013Journal of Ocean University of China2013,12,1:10

8High-performance photodetector based on an interface engineering-assisted graphene/silicon Schottky junction显示文摘Graphene/silicon Schottky junctions have been proven efficient for photodetection,but the existing high dark current seriously restricts applications such as weak signal detection.In this paper,a thin layer of gadolinium iron garnet(Gd3Fe5O12,GdIG)film is introduced to engineer the interface of a graphene/silicon Schottky photodetector.The novel structure shows a significant decrease in dark current by 54 times at a-2 V bias.It also exhibits high performance in a self-powered mode in terms of an Ilight/Idark ratio up to 8.2×10^(6)and a specific detectivity of 1.35×10^(13)Jones at 633 nm,showing appealing potential for weak-light detection.Practical suitability characterizations reveal a broadband absorption covering ultraviolet to near-infrared light and a large linear response with a wide range of light intensities.The device holds an operation speed of 0.15 ms,a stable response for 500 continuous working cycles,and long-term environmental stability after several months.Theoretical analysis shows that the interlayer increases the barrier height and passivates the contact surface so that the dark current is suppressed.This work demonstrates the good capacity of GdIG thin films as interlayer materials and provides a new solution for high-performance photodetectors.Peirui Ji Shuming Yang Yu Wang Kaili Li Yiming Wang Hao Suo Yonas Tesfaye Woldu Xiaomin Wang Fei Wang Liangliang Zhang Zhuangde Jiang 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,1:1
9Effects of cultivation strategies on the cultivation of Chlorella sp. HQ in photoreactors显示文摘The effects of cultivation strategies (including autotrophic cultivation (AC), heterotrophic cultivation (HC), fed-batch cultivation (FC), heterotrophic+ autotrophic two-stage cultivation (HATC), and heterotrophic+ mixotrophic two-stage cultivation (HMTC)) on the growth and lipid accumulation of Chlorella sp. HQ and its total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) removal in secondary effluent were investigated in column photoreactors. The results showed that the TN and TP removal rates ranged between 93.72%–95.82% and 92.73%–100%, respectively, under the five different strategies. The microalgal growth potential evaluated by the maximal growth rate (Rmax) was in the order of HMTC>HC>FC>AC>HATC. The values of biomass, total lipid yield, triacylglycerols (TAGs) yield, and total lipid content of the microalga cultivated in the last 5 d increased significantly, but the TAGs productivities of the five strategies were lower than those in the first 7 d. Compared with all the other cultivation strategies, the TAGs productivity and yield after 12 d of cultivation under the heterotrophic condition reached the highest values accompanying the highest level of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), in which the TAGs yield reached 40.81 mg/L at the end of the cultivation period. The peaks in TAGs yield and ROS level suggested that HC was beneficial for lipids accumulation via regulating the cellular redox status and exerting ROS stress on microalgal cells. 11Multi-Object Tracking Based on Segmentation and Collision Avoidance显示文摘An approach to track multiple objects in crowded scenes with long-term partial occlusions is proposed. Tracking-by-detection is a successful strategy to address the task of tracking multiple objects in unconstrained scenarios,but an obvious shortcoming of this method is that most information available in image sequences is simply ignored due to thresholding weak detection responses and applying non-maximum suppression. This paper proposes a multi-label conditional random field( CRF) model which integrates the superpixel information and detection responses into a unified energy optimization framework to handle the task of tracking multiple targets. A key characteristic of the model is that the pairwise potential is constructed to enforce collision avoidance between objects,which can offer the advantage to improve the tracking performance in crowded scenes. 13High-performance broadband flexible photodetector based on Gd_(3)Fe_(5)O_(12)-assisted double van der Waals heterojunctions显示文摘Flexible photodetectors are fundamental components for developing wearable systems,which can be widely used for medical detection,environmental monitoring and flexible imaging.However,compared with 3D materials,lowdimensional materials have degraded performance,a key challenge for current flexible photodetectors.Here,a highperformance broadband photodetector has been proposed and fabricated.By combining the high mobility of graphene(Gr)with the strong light–matter interactions of single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)and molybdenum disulfide(MoS2),the flexible photodetector exhibits a greatly improved photoresponse covering the visible to near-infrared range.Additionally,a thin layer of gadolinium iron garnet(Gd_(3)Fe_(5)O_(12),GdlG)film is introduced to improve the interface of the double van der Waals heterojunctions to reduce the dark current.The SWCNT/GdIG/Gr/GdIG/MoS2 flexible photodetector exhibits a high photoresponsivity of 47.375 A/W and a high detectivity of 1.952×1012 Jones at 450 nm,a high photoresponsivity of 109.311 A/W and a high detectivity of 4.504×10^(12) Jones at 1080 nm,and good mechanical stability at room temperature.This work demonstrates the good capacity of GdIGassisted double van der Waals heterojunctions on flexible substrates and provides a new solution for constructing high-performance flexible photodetectors.Ze Zhang Peirui Ji Shaobo Li Fei Wang Shengmei He Yiwei Cheng Shuhao Zhao Kaili Li Xiaomin Wang Yu Wang Shuming Yang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,4:0
14Polarization-insensitive plasmon nanofocusing with broadband interference modulation for optical nanoimaging显示文摘Delivering light to the nanoscale using a flexible and easily integrated fiber platform holds potential in various fields of quantum science and bioscience.However,rigorous optical alignment,sophisticated fabrication process,and low spatial resolution of the fiber-based nanoconcentrators limit the practical applications.Here,a broadband azimuthal plasmon interference nanofocusing technique on a fiber-coupled spiral tip is demonstrated for fiber-based near-field optical nanoimaging.The spiral plasmonic fiber tip fabricated through a robust and reproducible process can reverse the polarization and modulate the mode field of the surface plasmon polaritons in three-dimensionally azimuthal direction,resulting in polarization-insensitive,broad-bandwidth,and azimuthal interference nanofocusing.By integrating this with a basic scanning near-field optical microscopy,a high optical resolution of 31 nm and beyond is realized.The high performance and the easy incorporation with various existing measurement platforms offered by this fiber-based nanofocusing technique have great potential in near-field optics,tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy,nonlinear spectroscopy,and quantum sensing.Shaobo Li Fei Wang Ze Zhang Shuhao Zhao Chengsheng Xia Peirui Ji Xiaomin Wang Guofeng Zhang Tao Liu Feng Chen Shuming Yang 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
