| 1 | Investigation of a novel self-sealing pore micro-arc oxidation film on AM60 magnesium alloy显示文摘Micro-arc oxidation(MAO)is one of the promising methods to improve the corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys.However,there are plenty of micro-pores in the traditional MAO films,deteriorating their protection property.A novel self-sealing pore MAO film was developed in this paper.The morphologies and chemical composition of the film were detected by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX).The corrosion behavior was investigated by electrochemical and salt spray tests.The possible film formation and corrosion mechanisms were proposed.The self-sealing pore film presents a blue appearance.Most of the micro-pores in the surface of the film are sealed during the film formation process.The chemical composition of the film mainly contains Mg,O,Ti,F and P.The self-sealing pore film exhibits better corrosion resistance compared with the traditional silicate film.Especially,the self-sealing pore film keeps intact after salt spray test for 2000 h,which can be attributed to its high compactness. | Yingwei Song Kaihui Dong Dayong Shan En-Hou Han | 2013 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2013,1,1: | 23 |

| 6 | Effect of corrosive media on galvanic corrosion of complicated tri-metallic couples of 2024 Al alloy/Q235 mild steel/304 stainless steel显示文摘Galvanic corrosion of tri-metallic couples is more complicated than that of bi-metallic couples. In this study, the effect of the pH of corrosive media on the galvanic corrosion of 2024 A1 alloy/Q235 mild steel/304 stainless steel tri-metallic couples was investigated using potentiodynamic polarization, scanning electron microscopy, scanning vibrating electrode technique and a multi-channel galvanic corrosion meter. The results show that 2024 always acts as the only anode in 3.5 wt% NaCl at pH 5.56,9.72 and 12.0, while both Q235 and 2024 act as anodes at pH 2.39 in the initial stage and then the role of Q235 changes at longer coupling time, which can be attributed to the effect of pH on the surface film of 2024. It is also found that the galvanic current density of a tri-metallic couple is the superposition of two bi-metallic couples when cathodic reactions are controlled by the diffusion of oxygen, otherwise it is smaller than that of the sum of two bi-metallic couples. | 7 | Pitting corrosion of a Rare Earth Mg alloy GW93显示文摘Pitting corrosion of magnesium(Mg) alloys is greatly associated with their microstructure, especially second phases. The second phases in traditional Mg alloys such as AZ91 are electrochemically nobler than Mg matrix, while the second phases in Rare earth(RE) Mg alloy GW93 are more active than Mg matrix. As a result, the pitting corrosion mechanism of Mg alloy GW93 is different from the traditional ones. This paper aims to clarify the pitting corrosion mechanism of Mg alloy GW93 through the studies of Volta potential by Scanning Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy(SKPFM), corrosion morphology by Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM), and corrosion resistance by electrochemical tests. | 20 | Dynamic memory paravirtualization transparent to guest OS显示文摘This paper introduces dynamic paravirtualization, which imitates paravirtualization and aims at reducing VM exits of full virtualization with hardware support. In dynamic paravirtualization, VMM (virtual machine monitor) dynamically monitors and replaces the hot instructions, which cause most VM exits. It is transparent to the guest OS such that the legacy OSes can benefit from this optimization. Our study focuses on reducing the overhead of memory virtualization-dynamic memory paravirtualization (DMP). We implant a new memory management mechanism in VMM such that all user-mode page faults can be handled by the guest OS directly without VM exits. We implement a prototype of dynamic memory paravirtulization based on a version of KVM using Intel VT. Our experimental results show that our technique essentially eliminates the overhead of VM exits caused by page faults.
