| 1 | Iatrogenic bile duct injuries:Etiology,diagnosis and management显示文摘Iatrogenic bile duct injuries (IBDI) remain an important problem in gastrointestinal surgery. They are most frequently caused by laparoscopic cholecystectomy which is one of the commonest surgical procedures in the world. The early and proper diagnosis of IBDI is very important for surgeons and gastroenterologists, because unrecognized IBDI lead to serious complications such as biliary cirrhosis, hepatic failure and death. Laboratory and radiological investigations play an important role in the diagnosis of biliary injuries. There are many classifications of IBDI. The most popular and simple classification of IBDI is the Bismuth scale. Endoscopic techniques are recommended for initial treatment of IBDI. When endoscopic treatment is not effective, surgical management is considered. Different surgical reconstructions are performed in patients with IBDI. According to the literature, Roux- en-Y hepaticojejunostomy is the most frequent surgical reconstruction and recommended by most authors. In the opinion of some authors, a more physiological and equally effective type of reconstruction is end- to-end ductal anastomosis. Long term results are the most important in the assessment of the effectiveness of IBDI treatment. There are a few classifications for the long term results in patients treated for IBDI; the Terblanche scale, based on clinical biliary symptoms, is regarded as the most useful classification. | 2 | Comparison of the standard Euler-Euler and hybrid Euler-Lagrange approaches for modeling particle transport in a pilot-scale circulating fluidized bed显示文摘Particle transport phenomena in small-scale circulating fluidized beds(CFB) can be simulated using the Euler-Euler,discrete element method,and Euler-Lagrange approaches.In this work,a hybrid Euler-Lagrange model known as the dense discrete phase model(DDPM),which has common roots with the multiphase particle-in-cell model,was applied in simulating particle transport within a mid-sized experimental CFB facility.Implementation of the DDPM into the commercial ANSYS Fluent CFD package is relatively young in comparison with the granular Eulerian model.For that reason,validation of the DDPM approach against experimental data is still required and is addressed in this paper.Additional difficulties encountered in modeling fluidization processes are connected with long calculation times.To reduce times,the complete boiler models are simplified to include just the combustion chamber.Such simplifications introduce errors in the predicted solid distribution in the boiler.To investigate the consequences of model reduction,simulations were made using the simplified and complete pilot geometries and compared with experimental data.All simulations were performed using the ANSYSFLUENT 14.0 package.A set of user defined functions were used in the hybrid DDPM and Euler-Euler approaches to recirculate solid particles. | Wojciech P.Adamczyk Adam Klimanek Ryszard A.Biaecki Gabriel Wecel Pawe Kozolub Tomasz Czakiert | 2014 | Particuology2014，12，4： | 13 |
| 3 | Acute liver failure caused by concurrent autoimmune hepatitis and hepatitis B in a 16-year old girl显示文摘A 16 year-old girl was admitted to hospital because of fatigue and somnolence,nausea,epistaxis and jaund ice.Physical examination revealed jaundice,an enlarged liver and tenderness of upper right abdom en.Laboratory tests revealed an increased level of acute liver failure,bilirubin,bile acids,GGTP and a decreased prot hrombin ratio,with elevated gamma-globulin and IgG levels,and the presence of anti-mitochondrial M2 antibodies and HBV infection markers.The patient was diagnosed with liver failure resulting from chronic hepatitis B with an autoimmune component.The treatment consisted of steroids,azathioprine,vitam in K,low-protein diet and lactulose enemas.After undergoing a molecular test(HBV DNA 3.23 × 105 IU/mL and mutations 204 and 80),the treatment was mo tient was discharged in good clinical condition,with the recommendation of continued entecavir,prednisone and azathioprine.In subsequent months,no clinical deter ioration or abnormal biochemical liver function test results were found,despite the discontinuation of immunos up pressive therapy after 10 mo.The patient cont inues entecavir therapy. | Ma■gorzata Paw■owska Waldemar Halota | 2010 | World Journal of Hepatology2010，2，10： | 3 |

| 5 | Pancreatic intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms:Current diagnosis and management显示文摘Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms(IPMNs)represent approximately 1%of all pancreatic neoplasms and 25%of cystic neoplasms.They are divided into three types:main duct-IPMN(MD-IPPMN),branch duct-IPMN(BD-IPMN),and mixed type-IPMN.In this review,diagnostics,including clinical presentation and radiological investigations,were described.Magnetic resonance imaging is the most useful for most IPMNs.Management depends on the type and radiological features of IPMNs.Surgery is recommended for MD-IPMN.For BD-IPMN,management involves surgery or surveillance depending on the tumor size,cyst growth rate,solid components,main duct dilatation,high-grade dysplasia in cytology,the presence of symptoms(jaundice,new-onset diabetes,pancreatitis),and CA 19.9 serum level.The patient’s age and comorbidities should also be taken into consideration.Currently,there are different guidelines regarding the diagnosis and management of IPMNs.In this review,the following guidelines were presented:Sendai International Association of Pancreatology guidelines(2006),American Gastroenterological Association guidelines,revised international consensus Fukuoka guidelines(2012),revised international consensus Fukuoka guidelines(2017),and European evidence-based guidelines according to the European Study Group on Cystic Tumours of the Pancreas(2018).The Verona Evidence-Based Meeting 2020 was also presented and discussed. | Beata Jabłońska PawełSzmigiel Sławomir Mrowiec | 2021 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2021，13，12： | 3 |
| 6 | Radioprotective thermally generated free-radical dextrins显示文摘Effect of doses of the X-ray radiation from 0 to 400 Gy upon granular cornstarch and dextrins (British gums, BG) thermally generated from it at 230-300℃ was recognized with quantitative EPR and IR ab-sorption spectroscopy, molecular mass distribution in the depolymerization products, Scanning Elec-tron Microscopy, and X-ray diffractometry. Fractal analysis of the profiles of molecular mass distribu-tion showed that the depolymerization involved debranching of amylopectin. Roasting of cornstarch produced BG which differed in concentration and EPR parameters of stable free radicals from BG generated by X-ray radiation. Two types of stable free radicals, with Gaussian and Lorentzian shapes of EPR signals, were recognized. The shapes of the signals and temperature dependence on free radical intensity indicated exchanging interactions of the antiferromagnetic type, causing partial quenching of the spins at-196℃ (77K). Upon X-ray irradiation, new radicals were generated, the number and stability of which strongly depended on the types of radicals present before irradiation. | 7 | Energy Aspects of CO_2 Sorption in the Context of Sequestration in Coal Deposits显示文摘This paper summarises the results of experimental testing of carbon dioxide sorption on five coal samples. Sorption tests were done at the temperature 288, 298, 313 and 323 K, in the pressure range 0–5 MPa. The analysis of sorption isotherms and the effects of temperature on sorption capacity reveal that in the case of samples NR1, Pn, Tu, Be the temperature increase from 298 to 323 K led to 1.3-fold decrease of the sorption value. In the case of coal Th the decrease of sorption capacity was 3-fold. It appears that the analysis of maceral content plays a major role. In the case of coals, porosity is associated with the petrographic composition. The values of the isosteric heat of sorption and the work of expansion and desorption were derived for the investigated sorption systems. | 12 | Propolis modulates vitronectin,laminin,and heparan sulfate/heparin expression during experimental burn healing显示文摘Objective:This study was aimed at assessing the dynamics of vitronectin (VN), laminin (LN), and heparan sulfate/heparin (HS/HP) content changes during experimental burn healing. Methods:VN, LN, and HS/HP were isolated and purified from normal and injured skin of domestic pigs, on the 3rd, 5th, 10th, 15th, and 21st days following thermal damage. The wounds were treated with apitherapeutic agent (propolis), silver sulfadiazine (SSD), physiological salt solution, and propolis vehicle. VN and LN were quantified using an immunoenzymatic assay and HS/HP was estimated by densitometric analysis. Results:Propolis treatment stimulated significant increases in VN, LN, and HS/HP contents during the initial phase of study, followed by a reduction in the estimated extracellular matrix molecules. Similar patterns, although less extreme, were observed after treatment with SSD. | 14 | Numerical assessment of the influence of former mining activities and plasticity of rock mass on deformations of terrain surface显示文摘This paper presents the results of numerical simulations carried out to confirm the influence of former mining activities on deformation of the mining terrain.The assessment of deformation changes was carried out with the use of FLAC3 D program based on the finite difference method.Numerical calculations were carried out for the example of actual mining operations in seams 703/1-2 and 707/2 of‘‘Marcel'Coal Mine.Taking into account the influence of the model’s plastic features and the so-called activation of a higher occurring seam in conducted simulations enabled obtaining a very good description of the measured subsidence.Based on the results one may state that numerical model can be used to assess the influence of former mining activities and the direction of conducted exploitation on deformations of the mining terrain.These factors are not recognized by geometric-integral theories commonly used for predicting the influence of mining operations on the surface.The results presented in this paper confirm that the applied method of simulating the phenomenon of reactivation of post-mining goafs is correct. | PawełSikora Marek Wesołowski | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021，31，2： | 2 |
