3High-throughput discovery of high Curie point two-dimensional ferromagnetic materials显示文摘Databases for two-dimensional materials host numerous ferromagnetic materials without the vital information of Curie temperature since its calculation involves a manually intensive complex process.In this work,we develop a fully automated,hardwareaccelerated,dynamic-translation based computer code,which performs first principles-based computations followed by Heisenberg model-based Monte Carlo simulations to estimate the Curie temperature from the crystal structure.We employ this code to conduct a high-throughput scan of 786 materials from a database to discover 26 materials with a Curie point beyond 400 K.For rapid data mining,we further use these results to develop an end-to-end machine learning model with generalized chemical features through an exhaustive search of the model space as well as the hyperparameters.We discover a few more high Curie point materials from different sources using this data-driven model.Such material informatics,which agrees well with recent experiments,is expected to foster practical applications of two-dimensional magnetism.Arnab Kabiraj Mayank Kumar Santanu Mahapatra 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:5
4Herbal antioxidant in clinical practice:A review显示文摘Antioxidant-the word itself is magic.Using the antioxidant concept as a spearhead in proposed mechanisms for staving off so-called'free-radical'reactions,the rush is on to mine claims for the latest and most effective combination of free-radical scavenging compounds.We must acknowledge that such'radicals'have definitively been shown to damage all biochemical components such as DNA/HNA,carbohydrates,unsaturated lipids,proteins,and micronutrients such as carotenoids(alpha and beta carotene,lycopene),vitamins A,B_6,B_(12),and folate.Defense strategies against such aggressive radical species include enzymes,antioxidants that occur naturally in the body(glutathione,uric acid,ubiquinol-10,and others)and radical scavenging nutrients,such as vitamins A,C,and E,and carotenoids.This paper will present a brief discussion of some well-and little-known herbs that may add to the optimization of antioxidant status and therefore offer added preventive values for overall health.It is important to state at the outset that antioxidants vary widely in their free-radical quenching effects and each may be individually attracted to specific cell sites.Further evidence of the specialized nature of the carotenoids is demonstrated by the appearance of two carotenoids in the macula region of the retina where beta-carotene is totallyShashi Alok Sanjay Kumar Jain Amita Verma Mayank Kumar Alok Mahor Monika Sabharwal 2014Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2014,4,1:4
5Combustion performance studies of aluminum and boron based composite solid propellants in sub-atmospheric pressure regimes显示文摘The aim of present study is to investigate the burning rate,ignition delay,and flame characteristics of ammonium perchlorate(AP)-hydroxyl terminated poly-butadiene(HTPB)[AP/HTPB]based composite propellants(CSP's)in sub-atmospheric pressure regimes(13 kPae100 kPa).Several fuels and catalyzed were used to evaluate their effects on the combustion characteristics of AP based propellants in sub-atmospheric pressure regimes.In fuels,aluminum(Al)and boron(B)were selected as metallic and non-metallic fuel respectively.While in catalyst,butyl ferrocene(B.F.)and ferric oxide(F.O.)were selected as liquid and solid catalyst respectively.Apart from these,other ingredients that were used are di-octyl adipate(DOA),toluene di-isocyanate(TDI),and glycerol.The article throws some light on the burning rate and ignition delay properties for these new classes of prepared propellant samples.At subatmospheric pressures,all propellants are susceptible to irregular burning with the ejection of soot's,fumes,and unburned particles.F.O.based catalyzed propellants can sustain its combustion up to the lowest pressure.Pratim Kumar Mayank Varshney Aniket Manash 2019Propulsion and Power Research2019,8,4:3

7南欧派利吞草石油醚提取物对雄性大鼠性行为的影响(英文)显示文摘目的:检测南欧派利吞草石油醚提取物(petroleum ether extract,PEE)对雄性大鼠性行为的影响。方法:制备南欧派利吞草PEE。32只雄性Wistar大鼠分成对照组、睾酮组、低剂量PEE组和高剂量PEE组,每组8只。对照组大鼠灌胃花生油(溶剂对照),睾酮组大鼠肌肉注射0.5mg/kg睾酮,每周2次,低剂量和高剂量PEE组大鼠分别灌胃50和100mg/kgPEE,治疗持续28d。于治疗前,治疗第15天、第28天和治疗后第7天、第15天,检测大鼠体质量,治疗结束后,取4只大鼠性器官(睾丸、附睾、精囊、前列腺)称取质量,其余4只大鼠用于检测大鼠的性取向行为和性功能。结果:与对照组大鼠比较,PEE治疗28d可明显增加雄性大鼠的体质量和性器官质量,雄性大鼠易于接受雌性大鼠和对雌性大鼠趋向性增加,雄性大鼠性能力增加,表现为舔、嗅雌性大鼠肛门和生殖器,阴茎勃起指数增加,交配潜伏期缩短,交配频率增加。在PEE治疗结束后7和15d仍观察到以上行为和性指标的变化。结论:与睾酮不同的是,PEE治疗结束后7和15d仍可见明显治疗效果,提示南欧派利吞草能提高大鼠性潜能,并有延迟效应。Vikas Sharma Mayank Thakur Nagendra S.Chauhan Vinod Kumar Dixit 2010中西医结合学报2010,8,8:2

17白内障合并翼状胬肉患者行联合手术后的疗效观察显示文摘目的:观察白内障合并翼状胬肉患者行联合手术后的疗效。方法:对22例(平均年龄:59.05±8.70岁)并发白内障和翼状胬肉(长度2-5mm)患者进行前瞻性单中心研究,随访时间为3mo~1a。测定术前和术后3mo的平均角膜曲率(Kmean)、平均散光和最佳矫正视力(LogMAR)。观察术前角膜曲率和翼状胬肉大小与预测误差的关系。结果:共18例(81.8%)患者PE<±0.50D,4例(18.2%)患者PE为±0.50D~±1.00D,没有PE>1.00D的患者。手术前后眼轴长度无差异(P=0.77)。Kmean从术前42.994±1.536增加到术后43.324±1.479(P=0.105)。术后角膜散光由术前2.09±0.789D降至术后0.523±0.277D(P<0.05)。BCVA(LogMAR)从术前1.007±0.402显著提高到术后0.024±0.062(P<0.05)。角膜曲率变化与预测误差无相关性(r=-0.29,P=0.19)。翼状胬肉大小与预测误差无相关性(r=0.2997,P=0.17)。结论:超声乳化与折叠式人工晶状体植入联合自体结膜移植术的应用是一种安全有效的手术方法。Kshama Dwivedi Dawar Shuja Pranav Saluja Mayank Srivastava Santosh Kumar Sanchita Saini 2021国际眼科杂志2021,21,12:0
18Healing promoting potentials of roots of Ficus benghalensis L.in albino rats显示文摘Objective:To screen the wound healing activity of aqueous and ethanolic extract of roots of Ficus benghalensis.Methods:Both the extracts were evaluated for wound healing by three models ie. incision,excision and dead space wound.In incision and dead space the extracts were applied ilaily topically till the 10th post wounding days while in excision model it was till the complete epithelialization process.Standard group were administered Povidone iodine ointment topically daily.The breaking strength,percentage of wound contraction,period of epithelialization,dry granulation weight and hydroxyproline content were observed.Results:The result of the present study showed that both extracts were able to increase the breaking strength(incision model), decrease period of epithelialization.increase percentage wound contraction(excision model), increase hydroxyproline content(Dead space wound model) significantly compared with control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Based on result we conclude that aqueous extract is more effective than ethanolic extract.However,it is needed more research to be carried out especially on toxicity studies of ethanolic extract.Krishna Murti Upendra Kumar Mayank Panchal 2011Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2011,4,11:0

20Solid and liquid state characterization of tetrahydrocurcumin using XRPD, FT-IR, DSC, TGA, LC-MS, GC-MS, and NMR and its biological activities显示文摘Tetrahydrocurcumin(THC)is one of the major metabolites of curcumin(CUR),an ancient bioactive natural polyphenolic compound.This research article describes both the solid and liquid state characterization of THC using advanced spectroscopic and thermo-analytical techniques.Anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidant,and neuroprotective activities of THC were investigated using in vitro cell lines.Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis revealed that our sample comprised 95.15%THC,0.51%tetrahydrodemethoxycurcumin(THDC),3.40%hexahydrocurcumin,and 0.94%octahydrocurcumin.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis indicated the presence of 96.68%THC and 3.32%THDC.THC in solution existed as keto-enol tautomers in three different forms at different retention time,but the enol form was found to be dominant,which was also supported by nuclear magnetic resonance analysis.THC was thermally stable up to 335.55C.THC exhibited more suppression of cytokines(TNF-a,IL-1b,and MIP-1a)than CUR in a concentration-dependent manner in mouse splenocytes,while NK-cell and phagocytosis activity was increased in macrophages.THC showed a significant reduction of free radicals(LPO)along with improved antioxidant enzymes(SOD and catalase)and increased free radical scavenging activity against ABTSt radicals in HepG2 cells.THC displayed higher protection capability than CUR from oxidative stress and neuronal damage by improving cell viability against H2O2 induced HepG2 cells and MPPt induced SH-SY5Y cells,respectively,in a concentration-dependent manner.Thus,a variation of the biological activities of THC might rely on its keto-enol form and the presence of other THC analogs as impurities.The present study could be advantageous for further research on THC for better understanding its physicochemical properties and biological variation.Mahendra Kumar Trivedi Parthasarathi Panda Kalyan Kumar Sethi Mayank Gangwar Sambhu Charan Mondal Snehasis Jana 2020Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2020,10,4:0
