1Anthropogenic emission inventories in China:a review显示文摘The development of reliable anthropogenic emission inventories is essential for both understanding the sources of air pollution and designing effective air-pollution-control measures in China. However, it is challenging to quantify emissions in China accurately, given the variety of contributing sources, the complexity of the technology mix and the lack of reliable measurements. Over the last two decades,tremendous efforts have been made to improve the accuracy of emission inventories, and significant improvements have been realized. More reliable statistics and survey-based data have been used to reduce the uncertainties in activity rates and technology distributions. Local emission factors and source profiles covering various sources have been measured and reported. Based on these local databases, improved emission inventory models have been developed for power plants, large industrial plants and the residential,transportation and agricultural sectors. In this paper, we review the progress that has been made in developing inventories of anthropogenic emissions in China. We first highlight the major updates that have been made to emission inventory models and the underlying data by source category. We then summarize the sector-based estimates of emissions of different species contained in current inventories. The progress that has been made in the development of model-ready emissions is also presented. 2Atomically dispersed Au_1 catalyst towards efficient electrochemical synthesis of ammonia显示文摘Tremendous efforts have been devoted to explore energy-efficient strategies of ammonia synthesis to replace Haber–Bosch process which accounts for 1.4% of the annual energy consumption. In this study,atomically dispersed Au_1 catalyst is synthesized and applied in electrochemical synthesis of ammonia under ambient conditions. A high NH_4^+ Faradaic efficiency of 11.1% achieved by our Au_1 catalyst surpasses most of reported catalysts under comparable conditions. Benefiting from efficient atom utilization, an NH_4^+ yield rate of 1,305 lg h^(-1) mg_(Au)^(-1) has been reached, which is roughly 22.5 times as high as that by supported Au nanoparticles. We also demonstrate that by employing our Au_1 catalyst, NH4+can be electrochemically produced directly from N_2 and H_2 with an energy utilization rate of 4.02 mmol kJ^(-1). 3PNPLA3 I148M variant in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease:Demographic and ethnic characteristics and the role of the variant in nonalcoholic fatty liver fibrosis显示文摘Patatin-like phospholipase domain-containing 3(PNPLA3 or adiponutrin) displays anabolic and catabolic activities in lipid metabolism,and has been reported to be significantly associated with liver fat content.Variousstudies have established a strong link between the 148 isoleucine to methionine protein variant(I148M) of PNPLA3 and liver diseases,including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).However,detailed demographic and ethnic characteristics of the I148 M variant and its role in the development of nonalcoholic fatty liver fibrosis have not been fully elucidated.The present review summarizes the current knowledge on the association between the PNPLA3 I148 M variant and NAFLD,and especially its role in the development of nonalcoholic fatty liver fibrosis.First,we analyze the impact of demographic and ethnic characteristics of the PNPLA3 I148 M variant and the presence of metabolic syndrome on the association between PNPLA3 I148 M and NAFLD.Then,we explore the role of the PNPLA3 I148 M in the development of nonalcoholic fatty liver fibrosis,and hypothesize the underlying mechanisms by speculating a pro-fibrogenic network.Finally,we briefly highlight future research that may elucidate the specific mechanisms of the PNPLA3 I148 M variant in fibrogenesis,which,in turn,provides a theoretical foundation and valuable experimental data for the clinical management of nonalcoholic fatty liver fibrosis.Li-Zhen Chen Yong-Ning Xin Ning Geng Man Jiang Ding-Ding Zhang Shi-Ying Xuan 2015World Journal of Gastroenterology2015,21,3:6

5Comprehensive model for a slag bath in electroslag remelting process with a current-conductive mould显示文摘A mathematical model was developed to describe the interaction of multiple physical fields in a slag bath during electroslag remelting (ESR) process with a current-conductive mould. The distributions of current density, magnetic induction intensity, electromagnetic force, Joule heating, fluid flow and temperature were simulated. The model was verified by temperature measurements during remelting 12CrMoVG steel with a slag of 50wt%-70wt% CaF2, 20wt%-30wt% CaO, 10wt%-20wt% Al2O3, and ≤10wt% SiO2 in a 600 mm diameter current-conductive mould. There is a good agreement between the calculated temperature results and the measured data in the slag bath. The calculated results show that the maximum values of current density, electromagnetic force and Joule heating are in the region between the corner electrodes and the conductivity element. 6The study on the mechanical properties of PU/MF double shell self-healing microcapsules显示文摘The self-healing microcapsules can be buried in the coating to improve the anticorrosive ability.In this paper,self-healing microcapsules of polyurea(PU)/melamine resin(MF)double shell were prepared by in-situ polymerization and interfacial polymerization with isocyanate as the core material.Scanning electron microscope was used to observe the microcapsule morphology.The structures of microcapsules prepared with different chain extenders were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The micromanipulation system was used to loading–holding,loading–unloading and loading to rupture individual microcapsules,so as to explore the mechanical properties of microcapsules.The Young’s modulus corresponding to microcapsules was calculated by mathematical model fitting.The self-healing properties of microcapsule coating were characterized by optical microscope.The experimental results showed that the microcapsule shell prepared under optimized conditions had a complete morphology and good mechanical properties.The microcapsule was in the elastic deformation stage under small deformation,and the plastic deformation stage under large deformation.The Young’s modulus range of microcapsules was 9.29–14.51 MPa,and the corresponding Young’s modulus could be prepared by adjusting the process.The surface crack of the coating containing microcapsule could heal itself after48 h in a humid environment.Guohao Du Jianfeng Hu Jianhui Zhou Guangwu Wang Shengli Guan Hailing Liu Man Geng Chuang Lv Yaoqiang Ming Jinqing Qu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,5:4
7Polyoxometalate-based high-nuclear cobalt-vanadium-oxo cluster as efficient catalyst for visible light-driven CO2 reduction显示文摘A high-nuclear Co-V-O cluster was firstly isolated by lacunary polyoxoanion, resulting in the high-nuclear mixed metal-oxo cluster-containing polyoxometalate (POM), K4Na28[{Co4(O-H)3(VO4)}4(SiW9O34)4]· 66H2O (1). In 1, the{Co4(O-H)3(VO4)}4{Co16-V4}core, composed of a{Co4O4}cubane, four{Co4(OH)3}qusi-cubanes and four VO4 units, was stabilized by four lacunary A-α-{SiW9O34} units. Photocatalytic study reveals that 1 exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity for CO2-to-CO conversion with high selectivity under visible light irradiation. The turnover number (TON) and turnover frequency (TOF) reaches as high as 10492 and 0.29 s^-1, respectively. Compound 1 represents the first high nuclear TM cluster-containing POM (TM=transition-metal) with efficient visible light catalytic activity for CO2 reduction, and its photocatalytic activity is much higher than those of most reported molecular catalysts. 8Temperature elevated N ion implantation of Ti6A14V alloys using the plasma source显示文摘Specimens of Ti6A14V alloy were implanted with nitrogen ions of 4× 1018 cm-2 at temperatures from 100 to 600℃. Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES), microhardness measurements and pin-on-disk wear testing, Scanning Electron Mi- croscopy (SEM), and Glancing angle X-ray Diffraction. (XRD) were utilized to evaluate the surface property improvements. The thickness of implanted layers increased by about an order of magnitude when the temperature was elevated from 100 to 6000℃. Higher surface hardness and wear resistance were also obtained in the high tempera-ture implantation. 9IFN-αinhibits HBV transcription and replication by promoting HDAC3-mediated de-2-hydroxyisobutyrylation of histone H4K8 on HBV cccDNA minichromosome in liver显示文摘The epigenetic modification of hepatitis B virus(HBV)covalently closed circular DNA(cccDNA)plays a crucial role in cccDNA transcription and viral persistence.Interferon-α(IFN-α)is a pivotal agent against HBV cccDNA.However,the mechanism by which IFN-αmodulates the epigenetic regulation of cccDNA remains poorly understood.In this study,we report that IFN-α2b enhances the histone deacetylase 3(HDAC3)-mediated de-2-hydroxyisobutyrylation of histone H4 lysine 8(H4K8)on HBV cccDNA minichromosome to restrict the cccDNA transcription in liver.By screening acetyltransferases and deacetylases,we identified that HDAC3 was an effective restrictor of HBV transcription and replication.Moreover,we found that HDAC3 was able to mediate the de-2-hydroxyisobutyrylation of H4K8 in HBV-expressing hepatoma cells.Then,the 2-hydroxyisobutyrylation of histone H4K8(H4K8hib)was identified on the HBV cccDNA minichromosome,promoting the HBV transcription and replication.The H4K8hib was regulated by HDAC3 depending on its deacetylase domain in the system.The low level of HDAC3 and high level of H4K8hib were observed in the liver tissues from HBV-infected human liver-chimeric mice.The levels of H4K8hib on HBV cccDNA minichromosome were significantly elevated in the liver biopsy specimens from clinical hepatitis B patients,which was consistent with the high transcriptional activity of cccDNA.Strikingly,IFN-α2b effectively facilitated the histone H4K8 de-2-hydroxyisobutyrylation mediated by HDAC3 on the HBV cccDNA minichromosome in primary human hepatocytes and hepatoma cells,leading to the inhibition of HBV transcription and replication.Our finding provides new insights into the mechanism by which IFN-αmodulates the epigenetic regulation of HBV cccDNA minichromosome.Li-na Zhao Hong-feng Yuan Yu-fei Wang Hao-lin Yun Wei Zheng Ying Yuan Yu Geng Man Zhao Lian-yun Feng Xiao-dong Zhang 2022Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,6:2
10Aspirin triggers ferroptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma cells through restricting NF-κB p65-activated SLC7A11 transcription显示文摘A number of studies have shown that aspirin,as commonly prescribed drug,prevents the development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Ferroptosis as a dynamic tumor suppressor plays a vital role in hepatocarcinogenesis.In this study we investigated whether aspirin affected ferroptosis in liver cancer cells.RNA-seq analysis revealed that aspirin up-regulated 4 ferroptosis-related drivers and down-regulated 5 ferroptosis-related suppressors in aspirin-treated HepG2 cells.Treatment with aspirin(4 mM)induced remarkable ferroptosis in HepG2 and Huh7 cells,which was enhanced by the ferroptosis inducer erastin(10μM).We demonstrated that NF-κB p65 restricted ferroptosis in HepG2 and Huh7 cells through directly binding to the core region of SLC7A11 promoter and activating the transcription of ferroptosis inhibitor SLC7A11,whereas aspirin induced ferroptosis through inhibiting NF-κB p65-activated SLC7A11 transcription.Overexpression of p65 rescued HepG2 and Huh7 cells from aspirin-induced ferroptosis.HCC patients with high expression levels of SLC7A11 and p65 presented lower survival rate.Functionally,NF-κB p65 blocked the aspirin-induced ferroptosis in vitro and in vivo,which was attenuated by erastin.We conclude that aspirin triggers ferroptosis by restricting NF-κB-activated SLC7A11 transcription to suppress the growth of HCC.These results provide a new insight into the mechanism by which aspirin regulates ferroptosis in hepatocarcinogenesis.A combination of aspirin and ferroptosis inducer may provide a potential strategy for the treatment of HCC in clinic.Yu-fei Wang Jin-yan Feng Li-na Zhao Man Zhao Xian-fu Wei Yu Geng Hong-feng Yuan Chun-yu Hou Hui-hui Zhang Guo-wen Wang Guang Yang Xiao-dong Zhang 2023Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2023,44,8:1
11PRMT5 confers lipid metabolism reprogramming,tumour growth and metastasis depending on the SIRT7-mediated desuccinylation of PRMT5 K387 in tumours显示文摘The protein arginine methyltransferase 5(PRMT5),which is highly expressed in tumour tissues,plays a crucial role in cancer development.However,the mechanism by which PRMT5 promotes cancer growth is poorly understood.Here,we report that PRMT5 contributes to lipid metabolism reprogramming,tumour growth and metastasis depending on the SIRT7-mediated desuccinylation of PRMT5 K387 in tumours.Mass spectrometric analysis identified PRMT5 lysine 387 as its succinylation site.Moreover,the desuccinylation of PRMT5 K387 enhances the methyltransferase activity of PRMT5.SIRT7 catalyses the desuccinylation of PRMT5 in cells.The SIRT7-mediated dessuccinylation of PRMT5 lysine 387 fails to bind to STUB1,decreasing PRMT5 ubiquitination and increasing the interaction between PRMT5 and Mep50,which promotes the formation of the PRMT5-Mep50 octamer.The PRMT5-Mep50 octamer increases PRMT5 methyltransferase activity,leading to arginine methylation of SREBP1a.The symmetric dimethylation of SREBP1a increases the levels of cholesterol,fatty acid,and triglyceride biogenesis in the cells,escaping degradation through the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway.Functionally,the desuccinylation of PRMT5 K387 promotes lipid metabolism reprogramming,tumour growth and metastasis in vitro and in vivo in tumours.Hong-feng Yuan Man Zhao Li-na Zhao Hao-lin Yun Guang Yang Yu Geng Yu-fei Wang Wei Zheng Ying Yuan Tian-qiang Song Jun-qi Niu Xiao-dong Zhang 2022Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,9:1

13Effects of lanthanum on properties of cathode materials and ion implanted spinning rings显示文摘The effects of rare earth elements on the structure of cathode materials composed of WC, 663Cu and Ti as well as the performances of spinning rings implanted with this cathode materials were investigated. The results show that rare earth elements can improve the microstructure and compactness of the cathode materials, and elevate the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of spinning rings implanted with these materials. 14Cure reaction and phase behavior of liquid crystalline epoxides-anhydride systems显示文摘A series of novel liquid crystalline epoxides with lateral substituents were cured with anhydrides and the cure kinetics was investigated by non-isothermal DSC technique. The results showed that the lengths of lateral substituents have great effect on the value of Ea. The curing reaction became less active, when the liquid crystalline epoxides have long lateral substituents and were controlled by diffusion at the late stage of cure. 16Measurement of Transverse Tensile Interfacial Strength of REBCO-Coated Conductors显示文摘We present a new test method for the accurate measurement of the transverse tensile interfacial strength of rare-earth barium copper oxide(REBCO)-coated conductor(CC)tapes to overcome heavy scattering of data tested using regular test methods.A new composite structure specimen is designed and constructed by solidifying a standard epoxy resin tensile specimen using the three-dimensional printing technology,where a short REBCO CC tape is embedded.The feasibility of the proposed test method is numerically validated through finite element(FE)calculations.Experimental results show that the valid delaminated strength is 2.19-2.51 MPa with the maximum relative error of 7.3%,indicating the elimination of significant scattering in the tested data.By analysing the morphology of the delaminated interfaces and energy-dispersive spectroscopy results,it is discovered that delamination primarily occurs at the interface between the REBCO superconducting layer and the buffer layer and that a small portion of the REBCO and buffer layers peels off.Further error analysis based on the FE method indicates that the tape is more likely to delaminate because of initial defects,whereas the adhesion at the edges of the CC tape due to the redundancy of the epoxy resin increases the resistance of the CC tape to delamination,resulting in a higher testing value than the real one.Peifeng Gao Xin Geng Houyuan Zhang Guian Man Xingzhe Wang 2022Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2022,35,1:0

18Microtubule Assists Actomyosin to Regulate Cell Nuclear Mechanics and Chromatin Accessibility显示文摘Cellular behaviors and functions can be regulated by mechanical cues from microenvironments,which are transmitted to nucleus through the physical connections of cytoskeletons in the cells.How these physical connections determine transcriptional activity were not clearly known.The actomyosin,which generates intracellular traction force,has been recognized to control the nuclear morphology.Here,we have revealed that microtubule,the stiffest cytoskeleton,is also involved in the process of nuclear morphology alteration.The microtubule negatively regulates the actomyosin-induced nuclear invaginations but not the nuclear wrinkles.Moreover,these nuclear shape changes are proven to mediate the chromatin remodeling,which essentially mediates cell gene expression and phenotype determination.The actomyosin disruption leads to the loss of chromatin accessibility,which can be partly recovered by microtubule interference through nuclear shape control.This finding answers the question of how mechanical cues regulate chromatin accessibility and cell behaviors.It also provides new insights into cell mechanotransduction and nuclear mechanics.Jiwen Geng Zhefeng Kang Qian Sun Man Zhang Peng Wang Yupei Li Jiameng Li Baihai Su Qiang Wei 2023Research2023,,3:0

20CD147 contributes to SARS-CoV-2-induced pulmonary fibrosis显示文摘COVID‐19 patients can develop clinical and histopathological features associated with fibrosis,but the pathogenesis of fibrosis remains poorly understood.CD147 has been identified as a universal receptor for SARS-CoV-2 and its variants,which could initiate COVID-19-related cytokine storm.Here,we systemically analyzed lung pathogenesis in SARS-CoV-2-and its delta variant-infected humanized CD147 transgenic mice.Histopathology and Transmission Electron Microscopy revealed inflammation,fibroblast expansion and pronounced fibrotic remodeling in SARS-CoV-2-infected lungs.Consistently,RNA-sequencing identified a set of fibrosis signature genes.Furthermore,we identified CD147 as a crucial regulator for fibroblast activation induced by SARS-CoV-2.We found conditional knockout of CD147 in fibroblast suppressed activation of fibroblasts,decreasing susceptibility to bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis.Meplazumab,a CD147 antibody,was able to inhibit the accumulation of activated fibroblasts and the production of ECM proteins,thus alleviating the progression of pulmonary fibrosis caused by SARS-CoV-2.In conclusion,we demonstrated that CD147 contributed to SARS-CoV-2-triggered progressive pulmonary fibrosis and identified CD147 as a potential therapeutic target for treating patients with post-COVID-19 pulmonary fibrosis.Jiao Wu Liang Chen Chuan Qin Fei Huo Xue Liang Xu Yang Kui Zhang Peng Lin Jiangning Liu Zhuan Feng Jiansheng Zhou Zhuo Pei Yatao Wang Xiu-Xuan Sun Ke Wang Jiejie Geng Zhaohui Zheng Xianghui Fu Man Liu Qingyi Wang Zheng Zhang Huijie Bian Ping Zhu Zhi-Nan Chen 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,12:0
