2Erianin,a novel dibenzyl compound in Dendrobium extract,inhibits lung cancer cell growth and migration via calcium/calmodulin-dependent ferroptosis显示文摘Ferroptosis,a novel form of programmed cell death,is characterized by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation and has been shown to be involved in multiple diseases,including cancer.Stimulating ferroptosis in cancer cells may be a potential strategy for cancer therapy.Therefore,ferroptosis-inducing drugs are attracting more attention for cancer treatment.Here,we showed that erianin,a natural product isolated from Dendrobium chrysotoxum Lindl,exerted its anticancer activity by inducing cell death and inhibiting cell migration in lung cancer cells.Subsequently,we demonstrated for the first time that erianin induced ferroptotic cell death in lung cancer cells,which was accompanied by ROS accumulation,lipid peroxidation,and GSH depletion.The ferroptosis inhibitors Fer-1 and Lip-1 but not Z-VAD-FMK,CQ,or necrostatin-1 rescued erianin-induced cell death,indicating that ferroptosis contributed to erianin-induced cell death.Furthermore,we demonstrated that Ca^(2+)/CaM signaling was a critical mediator of erianin-induced ferroptosis and that blockade of this signaling significantly rescued cell death induced by erianin treatment by suppressing ferroptosis.Taken together,our data suggest that the natural product erianin exerts its anticancer effects by inducing Ca^(2+)/CaMdependent ferroptosis and inhibiting cell migration,and erianin will hopefully serve as a prospective compound for lung cancer treatment.Peng Chen Qibiao Wu Jiao Feng Lili Yan Yitian Sun Shuiping Liu Yu Xiang Mingming Zhang Ting Pan Xiaying Chen Ting Duan Lijuan Zhai Bingtao Zhai Wengang Wang Ruonan Zhang Bi Chen Xuemeng Han Yicong Li Liuxi Chen Ying Liu Xingxing Huang Ting Jin Wenzheng Zhang Hong Luo Xiaohui Chen Yongqiang Li Qiujie Li Guohua Li Qin Zhang Lvjia Zhuo Zuyi Yang Huifen Tang Tian Xie Xiaoping Ouyang Xinbing Sui 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:42
3Re-Assessing Climatic Warming in China since 1900显示文摘The regional mean surface air temperature(SAT)in China has risen with a rate of 1.3–1.7℃(100 yr)^-1 since 1900,based on the recently developed homogenized observations.This estimate is larger than those[0.5–0.8℃(100 yr)^-1]adopted in the early National Reports of Climate Change in China.The present paper reviews the studies of the longterm SAT series of China,highlighting the homogenization of station observations as the key progress.The SAT series of China in early studies showed a prominent warm peak in the 1940s,mainly due to inhomogeneous records associated with site-moves of a number of stations from urban to outskirts in the early 1950s,thus leading to underestimates of the centennial warming trend.Parts of China were relatively warm around the 1940s but with differentphase interdecadal variations,while some parts were even relatively cool.This fact is supported by proxy data and could partly be explained by interdecadal changes in large-scale circulation.The effect of urbanization should have a minor contribution to the observed warming in China,although the estimates of such contributions for individual urban stations remain controversial.Further studies relevant to the present topic are discussed.Zhongwei YAN Yihui DING Panmao ZHAI Lianchun SONG Lijuan CAO Zhen LI 2020Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,2:9
4A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 5Recent developments of miniature ion trap mass spectrometers显示文摘With outstanding analytical performance and portability, miniature mass spectrometer is one of the most powerful tools for in-situ analysis. The miniaturization of mass spectrometers has lasted for more than ten years, during which a number of miniature mass spectrometers employing different techniques have been developed. Small-in-size, working at relatively high pressure region and capable of performing tandem mass spectrometry, ion trap is the most widely used mass analyzer in miniature mass spectrometer systems. The recent development of miniature ion trap mass spectrometer systems in the last ten years was reviewed in this paper. These instruments adopt different atmospheric pressure interfaces(APIs), which are membrane inlets(MIs), discontinuous atmospheric pressure interface(DAPI)and continuous atmospheric pressure interface(CAPI). 6Radical-scavenging activity,ACE-inhibiting capability and identification of rapeseed albumin hydrolysate显示文摘Albumin derived from rapeseed was hydrolyzed sequentially using alcalase and flavorzyme to produce antioxidant peptides.To identify antioxidant peptides,rapeseed albumin hydrolysate(RAH)was fractionated using size exclusion chromatography(G-25).The antioxidant activity and angiotensin I-converting enzyme(ACE)inhibiting activity of rapeseed peptides(RSP)purified from RAH were evaluated.The results revealed that RSP-4 had the highest ABTS radical-scavenging activity(TEAC value=0.24)and ACE-inhibiting capacity(IC50=0.19 mg/mL)compared to other fractions.Moreover,RSP-4 was identified as PFDSYFVC(977 D)by electrospray ionization(ESI)mass spectrometry and tandem mass spectrometry(MS/MS).©2013 Beijing Academy of Food Sciences.Production and hosting by Elsevier B.V.All rights reserved.Wancong Yu Jie Gao Zhaohui Xue Xiaohong Kou Yifan Wang Lijuan Zhai 2013Food Science and Human Wellness2013,2,2:6

8Effects of frozen storage on texture,chemical quality indices and sensory properties of crisp Nile tilapia fillets显示文摘Crisp Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)is a kind of valuable fish product with high muscle firmness and crispiness texture.However,with the change of physicochemical in crisp Nile tilapia,the frozen storage parameters and quality would be different comparing to normal Nile tilapia.Thus,the aim of this study was to analyze the changes in texture,chemical quality indices and volatile compounds of Nile tilapia fillets during frozen storage.The remaining storage time of the crisp Nile tilapia fillets could be estimated within 120 days.During frozen storage,fillets resulted in softer started at 90-day,and 36.75%,45.74%,48.81%and 20.37%reduction of hardness,springiness,gumminess and chewiness were observed at 120-day.Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS)for frozen samples showed similar with fresh fillets within 60 days,while the TBARS was 1.97 folds higher than fresh one at 120-day.Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance(LF-NMR)indicated that the water loss of Nile tilapia fillets was significant changed at 120-day,which reduced more than 12.5%water out of weight.The volatile compound analysis showed that more free fatty acid will be detected at 120-day comparing to the fresh fillets.The combined results demonstrated that the crisp Nile tilapia fillets had the best quality before 60 days frozen storage then loss of some quality properties in longer freezing.Thus,these results identified the ideal storage strategy for the preservation of crisp Nile tilapia without affecting sensory appeal and commercial value.Xi Xie Xiaoqian Zhai Meiyan Chen Qingqing Li Yao Huang Lijuan Zhao Qin Wang Li Lin 2023Aquaculture and Fisheries2023,8,6:0
