1A pilot phase Ⅱ study of neoadjuvant triplet chemotherapy regimen in patients with locally advanced resectable colon cancer显示文摘Objective: This study aims to investigate the feasibility, safety and efficacy of triplet regimen of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with locally advanced resectable colon cancer.Methods: Patients with clinical stage IIIb colon cancer received a perioperative triple chemotherapy regimen(oxaliplatin 85 mg/m2 and irinotecan 150 mg/m2, combined with folinic acid 200 mg, 5-fluorouracil 500 mg bolus and then 2,400 mg/m2 by 44 h infusion or capecitabine 1 g/m2 or S-1 40–60 mg b.i.d orally d 1–10, repeated at 2-week intervals) for 4 cycles. Complete mesocolic excision was scheduled 2–6 weeks after completion of neoadjuvant treatment and followed by a further 6 cycles of FOLFOXIRI or XELOX. Primary outcome measures of this stage II trial were feasibility, safety, tolerance and efficacy of neoadjuvant treatment.Results: All 23 patients received neoadjuvant chemotherapy and underwent surgery. Twenty-one patients(91.3%) had reductions in tumor volume after neoadjuvant treatment, and 13 patients(56.5%) had grade 3–4toxicity. No patients had severe complications from surgery. 2A fishy odor episode in a north China reservoir: Occurrence, origin, and possible odor causing compounds显示文摘A significant outbreak of fishy odor occurred in a reservoir located in Inner Mongolia, China, in the winter of 2011, and the odor rating, algal density and concentrations of some potential odorous compounds were monitored over a period of two months. The peak odor rating of the fishy odor was 7 according to flavor profile analysis. Among the dominant algal species(two diatom and one chrysophyte species) observed during the survey, the chrysophyte Dinobryon sp. was the most abundant species, with the peak density recorded at 88,520 cells/mL. Seven potential algal metabolites including heptanal, 2,4-heptadienal, 2,4-decadienal, nonanal, 2-octenal, 2,6- nonadienal and hexanal were detected. The principal component analysis result showed that n-hexanal, n-heptanal and 2,4-decadienal, possibly the metabolites of diatoms, and 2,4-heptadienal, possibly the metabolite of Dinobryon sp., might have contributed to the fishy odor episode. 4Spatial and temporal variations of two cyanobacteria in the mesotrophic Miyun reservoir, China显示文摘Spatial variations in phytoplankton community within a large mesotrophic reservoir(Miyun reservoir, North China) were investigated in relation to variations in physico-chemical properties, nutrient concentrations, temperature and light conditions over a 5 month period in 2009. The dynamics of phytoplankton community was represented by the dominance of cyanobacteria through summer and fall, following with a short term dominance of chlorophyta in late fall, and a relatively high abundance of diatom in October; on the other hand, maximum phytoplankton biomass was recorded in the north shallow region of Miyun reservoir with a higher nutrients level. Particular attention was paid to the impacts of environmental conditions on the growth of two cyanobacteria genera, the toxin-producing Microcystis and the taste & odor-producing Oscillatoria. Microcystis biomass was in general greatly affected by water temperature and mixing depth/local water depth ratio in this reservoir, while the Oscillatoria biomass in the surface and middle layers was greatly affected by total dissolved phosphorus, and that in the bottom layer was related with the Secchi depth/local water depth ratio. 5Salt-assisted chemical vapor deposition of two-dimensional materials显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D) materials with atomic thickness are promising candidates for the applications in future semiconductor devices, owing to their fascinating physical properties and superlative optoelectronic performance. Chemical vapor deposition(CVD) is considered to be an efficient method for large-scale preparation of 2D materials toward practical applications.However, the high melting points of metal precursors and the thermodynamics instabilities of metastable phases limit the direct CVD synthesis of plenty of 2D materials. The salt has recently been introduced into the CVD process, which proved to be effective to address these issues. In this review, we highlighted the latest progress in the salt-assisted CVD growth of 2D materials, including layered and non-layered crystals. Firstly, strategies of adding salts are summarized. Then, the salt-assisted growth of various layered materials is presented, emphasizing on the transition metal chalcogenides of stable and metastable phases. Furthermore, strategies to grow ultrathin non-layered materials are discussed. We provide viewpoints into the techniques of using salt, the effects of salt, and the growth mechanisms of 2D crystals. 6Daytime HONO formation in the suburban area of the megacity Beijing, China显示文摘Nitrous acid(HONO),as a primary precursor of OH radicals,has been considered one of the most important nitrogencontaining species in the atmosphere.Up to 30%of primary OH radical production is attributed to the photolysis of HONO.However,the major HONO formation mechanisms are still under discussion.During the Campaigns of Air Quality Research in Beijing and Surrounding Region(CAREBeijing2006)campaign,comprehensive measurements were carried out in the megacity Beijing,where the chemical budget of HONO was fully constrained.The average diurnal HONO concentration varied from 0.33 to 1.2 ppbv.The net OH production rate from HONO,POH(HONO)net,was on average(from 05:00 to 19:00)7.1×106 molecule/(cm3 s),2.7 times higher than from O3 photolysis.This production rate demonstrates the important role of HONO in the atmospheric chemistry of megacity Beijing.An unknown HONO source(Punknown)with an average of 7.3×106molecule/(cm3 s)was derived from the budget analysis during daytime.Punknown provided four times more HONO than the reaction of NO with OH did.The diurnal variation of Punknown showed an apparent photo-enhanced feature with a maximum around 12:00,which was consistent with previous studies at forest and rural sites.Laboratory studies proposed new mechanisms to recruit NO2 and J(NO2)in order to explain a photo-enhancement of of Punknown.In this study,these mechanisms were validated against the observation-constraint Punknown.The reaction of exited NO2 accounted for only 6%of Punknown,and Punknown poorly correlated with[NO2](R=0.26)and J(NO2)[NO2](R=0.35).These results challenged the role of NO2 as a major precursor of the missing HONO source.YANG Qiang SU Hang LI Xin CHENG YaFang LU KeDing CHENG Peng GU JianWei GUO Song HU Min ZENG LiMin ZHU Tong ZHANG YuanHang 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,7:8

8Exosomes with low miR-34c-3p expression promote invasion and migration of non-small cell lung cancer by upregulating integrinα2β1显示文摘Exosomes play critical roles in regulating various physiological and pathological processes,including immune stimulation,immune suppression,cardiovascular diseases,and cancers.Recent studies show that exosomes that transport specific microRNAs(miRNAs)are involved in tumor development.However,the molecular mechanism by which tumor invasion and migration are regulated by exosomes from non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is not well understood.Here,we show that exosomes shuttling low levels of miR-34c-3p are involved in NSCLC progression.Our results showed that exosomes derived from NSCLC cells carrying low levels of miR-34c-3p could be transported into the cytoplasm of NSCLC cells and accelerate NSCLC invasion and migration by upregulating integrinα2β1.A luciferase assay revealed that integrinα2β1 was the direct target of miR-34c-3p,and overexpression of integrinα2β1 could promote the invasion and migration of NSCLC cells.The analysis of exosomes derived from clinical serum samples indicated that the expression of miR-34c-3p was significantly downregulated in exosomes from NSCLC patients compared with that of normal controls.A549-derived exosomes promoted NSCLC cells lung metastases in vivo.Exosomes shuttling low levels of miR-34c-3p were associated with the progression of NSCLC in vitro and in vivo.Our data demonstrate that exosomes shuttling low levels of miR-34c-3p can accelerate the invasion and migration of NSCLC by upregulating integrinα2β1.MiR-34c-3p can be a diagnostic and prognostic marker for NSCLC.High expression of integrinα2β1 is positively related to the migration and metastasis of NSCLC cells.Wenjing Huang Yanyan Yan Yun Liu Minting Lin Jinxiang Ma Wei Zhang Jianwei Dai Jiajun Li Qiaoru Guo Hubiao Chen Bolat Makabel Hong Liu Chaoyue Su Hong Bi Jianye Zhang 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:5

10DIMENSIONALITY REDUCTION FOR HYPERSPECTRAL IMAGERY BASED ON FASTICA显示文摘The high dimensions of hyperspectral imagery have caused burden for further processing. A new Fast Independent Component Analysis (FastICA) approach to dimensionality reduction for hyperspectral imagery is presented. The virtual dimensionality is introduced to determine the number of dimensions needed to be preserved. Since there is no prioritization among independent components generated by the FastICA,the mixing matrix of FastICA is initialized by endmembers,which were extracted by using unsupervised maximum distance method. Minimum Noise Fraction (MNF) is used for preprocessing of original data,which can reduce the computational complexity of FastICA significantly. Finally,FastICA is performed on the selected principal components acquired by MNF to generate the expected independent components in accordance with the order of endmembers. 11Ecological niche and in-situ control of MIB producers in source water显示文摘Odor problems in source water caused by 2-methylisoborneol(MIB) have been a common issue in China recently, posing a high risk to drinking water safety. The earthy-musty odorant MIB has an extremely low odor threshold(4–16 ng/L) and is hard to remove via conventional processes in drinking water plants(DWP), and therefore could easily provoke complaints from consumers. This compound is produced by a group of filamentous cyanobacteria, mainly belonging to Oscillatoriales. Different from the well-studied surface-blooming Microcystis, filamentous cyanobacteria have specific niche characteristics that allow them to stay at a subsurface or deep layer in the water column. The underwater bloom of these MIB producers is therefore passively determined by the underwater light availability, which is governed by the cell density of surface scum. This suggests that drinking water reservoirs with relatively low nutrient contents are not able to support surface blooms, but are a fairly good fit to the specialized ecological niche of filamentous cyanobacteria;this could explain the widespread odor problems in source water. At present, MIB is mainly treated in DWP using advanced treatment processes and/or activated carbon, but these post-treatment methods have high cost, and not able to deal with water containing high MIB concentrations.Thus, in situ control of MIB producers in source water is an effective complement and is desirable. 12High-performance all-polymer solar cells enabled by a novel low bandgap non-fully conjugated polymer acceptor显示文摘The non-fully conjugated polymer as a new class of acceptor materials has shown some advantages over its small molecular counterpart when used in photoactive layers for all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs),despite a low power conversion efficiency(PCE)caused by its narrow absorption spectra.Herein,a novel non-fully conjugated polymer acceptor PFY-2TS with a low bandgap of~1.40 eV was developed,via polymerizing a largeπ-fused small molecule acceptor(SMA)building block(namely YBO)with a non-conjugated thioalkyl linkage.Compared with its precursor YBO,PFY-2TS retains a similar low bandgap but a higher LUMO level.Moreover,compared with the structural analog of YBO-based fully conjugated polymer acceptor PFY-DTC,PFY-2TS shows a similar absorption spectrum and electron mobility,but significantly different molecular crystallinity and aggregation properties,which results in optimal blend morphology with a polymer donor PBDB-T and physical processes of the device in all-PSCs.As a result,PFY-2TS-based all-PSCs achieved a PCE of 12.31%with a small energy loss of 0.56 eV enabled by the reduced non-radiative energy loss(0.24 eV),which is better than that of 11.08%for the PFY-DTC-based ones.Our work clearly demonstrated that non-fully conjugated polymers as a new class of acceptor materials are very promising for the development of high-performance all-PSCs.Qunping Fan Ruijie Ma Tao Liu Jianwei Yu Yiqun Xiao Wenyan Su Guilong Cai Yuxiang Li Wenhong Peng Tao Guo Zhenghui Luo Huiliang Sun Lintao Hou Weiguo Zhu Xinhui Lu Feng Gao Ellen Moons Donghong Yu He Yan Ergang Wang 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,8:3
13MOFs-Derived N-Doped Carbon-Encapsulated Metal/Alloy Electrocatalysts to Tune the Electronic Structure and Reactivity of Carbon Active Sites显示文摘Despite progress over the past few years in developing efficient low-cost catalysts,precious metals are still the best catalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),oxygen evolution reaction(OER),and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).However;the natural scarcity and high cost greatly hamper their large-scale commercialization.The combination of graphene shell with metal core could tune the electronic structure of carbon active sites.Recently,nitrogen doped graphene encapsulated metal or alloy(M@NG)has emerged as novel and fascinating electrocatalysts.In this review,we focus on some recent advances in designing M@NG electrocatalysts for HER,OER and ORR through tuning electronic structure and activity of carbon active sites.We have summarized some facile and universal strategy for synthesizing various M@NG via direct annealing of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs).With elaborated MOFs precursor design,careful control over the nitrogen doping level,metal element types and alloy structure,the electronic structure of carbon active sites can be rationally tuned to optimize activity for different electrochemical reactions.We hope this review can provide new insights into the design of M@NG with high catalytic activity.Yang Yang Jianwei Su Peng Jiang Jitang Chen Lin Hu Qianwang Chen 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,9:2
14Reducing energy loss via tuning energy levels of polymer acceptors for efficient all-polymer solar cells显示文摘The open-circuit voltage(Voc) of all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs) is typically lower than 0.9 V even for the most efficient ones.Large energy loss is the main reason for limiting Voc and efficiency of all-PSCs. Herein, through materials design using electron deficient building blocks based on bithiophene imides, the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO) energy levels of polymer acceptors can be effectively tuned, which resulted in a reduced energy loss induced by charge generation and recombination loss due to the suppressed charge-transfer(CT) state absorption. Despite a negligible driving force, all-PSC based on the polymer donor and acceptor combination with well-aligned energy levels exhibited efficient charge transfer and achieved an external quantum efficiency over 70% while maintaining a large Voc of 1.02 V, leading to a 9.21% efficiency. 15Adaptive estimation and nonlinear variable gain compensation of the contouring error for precise parametric curve following显示文摘Contour following is one of the most important issues faced by many computer-numerical-control(CNC) machine tools to achieve high machining precision. This paper presents a new real-time error compensation method aiming at reducing the contouring error caused by facts such as servo lag and dynamics mismatch in parametric curved contour-following tasks. Due to the lack of high-precision contouring-error estimation method for free-form parametric curved toolpath, the error can hardly be compensated effectively. Therefore, an adaptive accurate contouring-error estimation algorithm is proposed first, where a tangential-error backstepping method based on Taylor's expansion is developed to rapidly find the closest point on the parametric curve to the actual motion position. On this foundation, the contouring error is compensated using a proposed nonlinear variable-gain compensation method, where the compensation gain is obtained according to not only the contouring-error magnitude but also its direction variation. The stability of the system after compensation is analyzed afterwards according to the Jury stability criterion.By design of the compensator in accordance with the presented contouring-error compensation method as well as the stability analyzation result, the balance between the response speed and the contour control stability can be effectively made.
