3Inhibition of gasdermin D-dependent pyroptosis attenuates the progression of silica-induced pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis显示文摘Silicosis is a leading cause of occupational disease-related morbidity and mortality worldwide,but the molecular basis underlying its development remains unclear.An accumulating body of evidence supports gasdermin D(GSDMD)-mediated pyroptosis as a key component in the development of various pulmonary diseases.However,there is little experimental evidence connecting silicosis and GSDMD-driven pyroptosis.In this work,we investigated the role of GSDMD-mediated pyroptosis in silicosis.Single-cell RNA sequencing of healthy and silicosis human and murine lung tissues indicated that GSDMD-induced pyroptosis in macrophages was relevant to silicosis progression.Through microscopy we then observed morphological alterations of pyroptosis in macrophages treated with silica.Measurement of interleukin-1βrelease,lactic dehydrogenase activity,and real-time propidium iodide staining further revealed that silica induced pyroptosis of macrophages.Additionally,we verified that both canonical(caspase-1-mediated)and non-canonical(caspase-4/5/11-mediated)signaling pathways mediated silica-induced pyroptosis activation,in vivo and in vitro.Notably,Gsdmd knockout mice exhibited dramatically alleviated silicosis phenotypes,which highlighted the pivotal role of pyroptosis in this disease.Taken together,our results demonstrated that macrophages underwent GSDMD-dependent pyroptosis in silicosis and inhibition of this process could serve as a viable clinical strategy for mitigating silicosis.Meiyue Song Jiaxin Wang Youliang Sun Junling Pang Xiaona Li Yuan Liu Yitian Zhou Peiran Yang Tianhui Fan Ying Liu Zhaoguo Li Xianmei Qi Baicun Li Xinri Zhang Jing Wang Chen Wang 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,3:5

5Effect of electroacpuncture of Neiguan(PC 6)and Tianquan(PC 2)on skin temperature,blood perfusion,and adrenoceptor response in rats with acute myocardial ischemia显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of acupoints Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2) on the skin temperature, blood perfusion, and alpha1-and beta2-adrenoreceptor(α1-AR and β2-AR) protein and m RNA level in rats with acute myocardial ischemia.METHODS: Thirty male adult Wistar rats [(230 ±20) g] were randomly assigned into five groups(n = 6 each): a control group, sham operation group, model group, model group treated with EA at low frequency(L-EA, 2 Hz, 1 m A) and model group treated with EA at high frequency(H-EA, 100 Hz, 1 m A). The rat model was prepared by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery. Electroacupuncture was performed at the left Neiguan(PC 6) for 20 min daily for 3 d. After the 3 rd time of the treatment, measurements of skin blood perfusion and temperature in Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2) in all groups were made by laser speckle contrast imaging and infrared thermal image instrument. Real-time PCR and ELISA were used to measure m RNA level and protein level of α1-AR andβ2-AR in the skin tissues of Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2), respectively. Serum levels of c Tn T and electrocardiogram were used to identify the state of myocardium.RESULTS: In the group receiving electroacupunture at Neiguan(PC 6), compared with control group,the skin temperature, blood perfusion, and β2-AR m RNA and protein level of model group significantly decreased(P < 0.05), α1-AR m RNA and protein level of model group significantly increased(P < 0.05);compared with model group, the skin temperature,blood perfusion, and β2-AR m RNA and protein level of L-EA significantly increased(P < 0.05), α1-AR m RNA and protein level of L-EA and H-EA significantly decreased(P < 0.05). 6Effect of potential HONO sources on peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)formation in eastern China in winter显示文摘As an important secondary photochemical pollutant,peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)has been studied over decades,yet its simulations usually underestimate the corresponding observations,especially in polluted areas.Recent observations in north China found unusually high concentrations of PAN during wintertime heavy haze events,but the current model still cannot reproduce the observations,and researchers speculated that nitrous acid(HONO)played a key role in PAN formation.For the first time we systematically assessed the impact of potential HONO sources on PAN formation mechanisms in eastern China using the Weather Research and Forecasting/Chemistry(WRF-Chem)model in February of 2017.The results showed that the potential HONO sources significantly improved the PAN simulations,remarkably accelerated the RO x(sum of hydroxyl,hydroperoxyl,and organic peroxy radicals)cycles,and resulted in 80%–150%enhancements of PAN near the ground in the coastal areas of eastern China and 10%–50%enhancements in the areas around 35–40°N within 3 km during a heavy haze period.The direct precursors of PAN were aldehyde and methylglyoxal,and the primary precursors of PAN were alkenes with C>3,xylenes,propene and toluene.The above results suggest that the potential HONO sources should be considered in regional and global chemical transport models when conducting PAN studies.Jingwei Zhang Yitian Guo Yu Qu Yong Chen Ruipeng Yu Chaoyang Xue Rui Yang Qiang Zhang Xingang Liu Yujing Mu Jing Wang Can Ye Haihan Zhao Qiangqiang Sun Ziwen Wang Junling An 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8:3

9NaHCO_(3)-induced porous PbI_(2) enabling efficient and stable perovskite solar cells显示文摘Driven by their many unique features,perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have become one of the most promising candidates in the photovoltaic field.Two-step preparation of perovskite film is advantageous for its higher stability and reproducibility compared to the one-step method,which is more suitable for practical application.However,the incomplete conversion of the dense lead iodide(PbI_(2))layer during the sequential spin-coating of formamidinium/methylammonium(FA^(+)/MA^(+))organic amine salts severely affect the performance of PSCs.Herein,sodium bicarbonate(NaHCO_(3))is used to induce the formation of porous PbI_(2),which facilitates the penetration of the FA^(+)/MA^(+)ions and the formation of a perovskite film with high crystallinity and large grain microstructure.Meanwhile,the introduction of Na^(+)not only improves the energetic alignment of the PSC,but also increases the conductivity via p-doping.As a result,the optimized NaHCO_(3)-modified PSC achieves a champion power conversion efficiency of 24.0% with suppressed hysteresis.Moreover,the significant reduction in defect density and ion migration as well as a mild alkaline environment enhance the stability of device.The unencapsulated NaHCO_(3)-modified PSCs maintain over 90% of their original efficiency upon storage in ambient air(30%–40% relative humidity)for 2160 h.We have demonstrated an ingenious strategy for controlling the quality of perovskite and improving the performance of device by low-temperature foaming of simple inorganic molecules of NaHCO_(3).Yitian Du Ying Wang Jihuai Wu Qi Chen Chunyan Deng Ran Ji Liuxue Sun Lina Tan Xia Chen Yiming Xie Yunfang Huang Yana Vaynzof Peng Gao Weihai Sun Zhang Lan 2023InfoMat2023,5,6:0
10Profiling seed soluble sugar compositions in 1164 Chinese soybean accessions from major growing ecoregions显示文摘Soluble sugar is a key quality trait of soybean seeds.We developed rapid and economic extraction and quantification methods for seed soluble sugars using an ultra-high performance liquid chromatography system with a refractive index detector.We evaluated the soluble sugar compositions of 1164 soybean accessions collected from diverse ecoregions and grown in multiple locations and years.Total soluble sugar(TSS)content was influenced by accession type,year of cultivation,and ecoregion.The mean contents of fructose,glucose,sucrose,raffinose,stachyose and TSS were 3.31,5.21,55.60,6.60,35.47,and 106.19 mg g^(-1),respectively.The highest mean TSS content(108.71 mg g^(-1)) was observed in accessions from Northern Region of China.Cultivars contained higher contents of sucrose,raffinose,and TSS,whereas landraces had a higher content of stachyose.Fourteen accessions with mean TSS contents>130 mg g^(-1) were identified as elite soybean resources.TSS was correlated with sucrose,raffinose,stachyose,protein,oil and total tocopherol.The main soluble sugar components were correlated with latitude and longitude,indicating that the geographical origin of the accessions affected their seed soluble sugar compositions.The developed methods and elite identified accessions can be used in the food and feed industry and in soybean breeding programs aimed at improving soybean seed nutrition.Jie Qi Shengrui Zhang Muhammad AzamAbdul wahab S.Shaibu Ahmed M.Abdelghany Yue Feng Yuanyuan HuaiHuoyi Feng Yitian Liu Caiyou Ma Berhane S.Gebregziabher Suprio Ghosh Jing Li Deyue Yu Bin Li Lijuan Qiu Junming Sun 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,6:0
11Relationship between the equilibrium morphology of river islands and flow-sediment dynamics based on the theory of minimum energy dissipation显示文摘River islands are vital geomorphic units in alluvial rivers, and the variation of their morphology and position plays a significant role in regulating flow-sediment transport and channel stability. Based on the theories of minimum energy dissipation theory of fluid movement and river morphodynamics, this study uses the river islands in anabranching channels to analyze the relationship between the shape coefficient of river island and the flow-sediment dynamics under stable equilibrium conditions. Results indicate that the river islands could adjust their lengths and widths to reach an appropriate allocation of flow diversion ratio and sediment separation ratio in the two anabranching channels to ensure flow-sediment being smoothly transported downstream and achieve the minimum energy dissipation. Under the minimum energy dissipation condition of flow-sediment transport balance, the ratio of “sediment separation ratio” to “flow diversion ratio” in short and straight branching channels is between 1 and 1.1.When the proportion of flow-sediment transport reaches its maximum, the steady island morphology coefficient is approximately 0.2;that is, the island length is five times the width. 12Bionic immunoactivator copresenting autophagy promoting and costimulatory molecules for synergistic cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Immunotherapy has great promise in improving malignant tumor treatment.However,the efficacy of existing strategies is often limited by the immunosuppressive environment.Here,we demonstrate an in situ bionic immunoactivator,PLT-Bec1/DTA-1,with possessed natural advantages of platelets for tumor recruitment and activation,on which DTA-1(CD357 monoclonal antibody)and Bec1 were tethered as combined immune boosters.PLT-Bec1/DTA-1,as a self-triggered release repository,can deliver the pre-tethered Bec1 and DTA-1 deeply through the secretion of platelet microparticles(PMPs),thereby cooperate tacitly and exhibit superiority in immune activation of dendritic cells(DCs)and T cells via autophagy inducibility,coupled with glucocorticoid-induced tumor necrosis factor receptor(GITR)-triggered T_(Reg) suppression,remodeled the immunosuppressive network of tumor microenvironment.PLT-Bec1/DTA-1 promoted antigen presentation and T cell proliferation,and alleviated the low activity state of bone marrow-derived dendritic cells(BMDCs)in tumor suppressive environment.PLT-Bec1/DTA-1 inhibited tumor recurrence(5-and 13-fold lower of control group in tumor volume)and CD8^(+)T/T_(Reg) ratio(6.3-and 8.8-fold vs.control group)in mouse tumor model after intravenous or subcutaneous administration.Also,PLT-Bec1/DTA-1 prevented tumor colonization in lung through in situ immune activation,and was slightly superior to the combined of Bec1 and PD-L1.Our findings highlight the promise of delivering immunostimulatory payloads via bionic carriers,eliciting automatic in situ activation of effector immune cells in tumor microenvironment for tumor eradication.All these results provide promising prospects into the application of immunoactivator in improving cancer synergistic immunotherapy to overcome the bottlenecks in clinic.Yiwei Peng Yiliang Yang Zhenzhen Yang Datong Gao Jiajia Li Qi Sun Yitian Du Meng Lin Xianrong Qi 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
13Surface passivation using pyridinium iodide for highly efficient planar perovskite solar cells显示文摘Perovskite solar cells have developed rapidly in the past decades.However,there are large amounts of ionic defects at the surface and grain boundaries of perovskte films which are detrimental to both the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells.Here,an organic halide salt pyridinium iodide(PyI) is used in cation-anion-mixed perovskite for surface defect passivation.Different from the treatment with Lewis base pyridine(Py) which can only bind to the under-coordinated Pb ions,zwitterion molecule PyI can not only fill negative charged iodine vacancies,but also interact with positive charged defects.Compared with Py treatment,PyI treatment results in smoother surface,less defect densities and nonradiative recombination in perovskite,leading to an improved VOC, negligible J-V hysteresis and stable performance of devices.As a result,the champion PyI-treated planar perovskite solar cell with a high VOC of 1.187 V achieves an efficiency of 21.42%,which is higher than 20.37% of Py-treated device,while the pristine device without any treatment gets an efficiency of 18.83% at the same experiment conditions.Yitian Du Jihuai Wu Xinpeng Zhang Qianjin Zhu Mingjing Zhang Xuping Liu Yu Zou Shibo Wang Weihai Sun 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1:0
14Erosion-deposition patterns and depo-center movements in branching channels at the near-estuary reach of the Yangtze River显示文摘Channel evolution and depo-center migrations in braided reaches are significantly influenced by variations in runoff.This study examines the effect of runoff variations on the erosion-deposition patterns and depocenter movements within branching channels of the near-estuary reach of the Yangtze River.We assume that variations in annual mean duration days of runoff discharges,ebb partition ratios in branching channels,and the erosional/depositional rates of entire channels and sub-reaches are representative of variations in runoff intensity,flow dynamics in branching channels,and morphological features in the channels.Our results show that the north region of Fujiangsha Waterway,the Liuhaisha branch of Rugaosha Waterway,the west branch of Tongzhousha Waterway,and the west branch of Langshansha Waterway experience deposition or reduced erosion under low runoff intensity,and erosion or reduced deposition under high runoff intensity,with the depocenters moving upstream and downstream,respectively.Other waterway branches undergo opposite trends in erosion-deposition patterns and depo-center movements as the runoff changes.These morphological changes may be associated with trends in ebb partition ratio as the runoff discharge rises and falls.By flattening the intra-annual distribution of runoff discharge,dam construction in the Yangtze Basin has altered the ebb partition ratios in waterway branches,affecting their erosion-deposition patterns and depo-center movements.Present trends are likely to continue into the future due to the succession of large cascade dams under construction along the upper Yangtze and ongoing climate change.Boyuan Zhu Jinyun Deng Jinwu Tang Wenjun Yu Alistair G.L.Borthwick Yuanfang Chai Zhaohua Sun Yitian Li 2020Frontiers of Earth Science2020,14,3:0
15A STUDY ON THE FLOOD STORAGE CAPACITY IN DONGTING LAKE显示文摘Using field data from the 1950抯 to 1990s, the flood storage capacity of Dongting Lake was analyzed. The impacts of sediment deposition in Dongting Lake and in the reach of the Yangtze River from Chenglingji to Hankou were analyzed. The effects of land reclamation in the lake region on the flood storage capacity also were analyzed on annual and other time scales.
