Geochemical characteristics and formation process of natural gas in Kela 2 gas field显示文摘On the basis of a large amount of natural gascomponents and the carbon isotope as well as some otheranalysis data in Kela 2 gas field, the geochemical character-istics, source, origin, and formation process of natural gashave been discussed. The components of gas in the field tendto be 'dry', and the drying coefficient is close to 1.0. Thecarbon isotope tends to be heavier, for instance, the averageof δ13C1 is -27.36‰ and that ofδ13C2 is -18.5‰. Compre-hensive analysis shows that humic natural gas in the Kuqapetroleum system comes mainly from Triassic and Jurassicsource rocks, and the contribution of Jurassic source rocks tothe pool maybe is more than that of Triassic rocks. The maincause that the gas tends to be dry and bears heavier isotopecomposition lies in the fact that Kela 2 natural gas is the ac-cumulation of late production of humic source rocks, and itis affected by the abnormal high pressure as well. Consider-ing the hydrocarbon generating and structural history, wecan regard the gas pool formation processes as twice fillingand twice adjusting (destroying), that is, the filling anddestroying process in the early Himalayan movement and thefilling and adjusting in the late Himalayan movement.ZHAO Mengjun LU Shuangfang WANG Tingdong LI Jian 2002Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,S1:20
Migration and accumulation of natural gas in Kela-2 gas field显示文摘With the guidance of petroleum system theory, the dynamic filling history of natural gas in the Kela-2 gasfield is analyzed by using a large suite of oil and gas geo-chemistry evidence in combination with the tectonic evolu-tion history and reservoir evolution history. It concludes thatthe Kela-2 gas field was formed by capturing the gas gener-ated during the main gas generation period, while the latekerogen cracking gas contributed a little to the gas field. Itsuggests that the gas generated during the main gas genera-tion accumulated in the early-formed wide-gentle anticline, which is the necessary condition for natural gas to re-migrateand enrich late to form the large-scale gas reservoir. Thenewest research shows that the filling history of gas in theDabei-1, Yinan-2, Tuziluoke and Dina-2 gas fields was re-lated with the natural gas accumulation in the early wide-gentle anticline as well as late re-migration and enrichmentof natural gas.WANG Zhaoming WANG Tingdong XIAO Zhongyao XU Zhiming LI Mei LIN Feng 2002Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,S1:16

Highly efficient heritable genome editing in wheat using an RNA virus and bypassing tissue culture.显示文摘Genome editing provides novel strategies for improving plant traits, but relies on current genetic transformation and plant regeneration procedures, which can be inefficient. We have engineered a barley stripe mosaic virus(BSMV)-based sgRNA delivery vector(BSMV-sg)that is effective in performing heritable genome editing in Cas9-transgenic wheat plants.Mutated progenies were present in the next generation at frequencies ranging from 12.9%to 100%in three different wheat varieties, and 53.8%to 100%of mutants were virus-free.We also achieved multiplex mutagenesis in progeny using a pool of BSMV-sg vectors harboring different sgRNAs.Furthermore,we devised a virus-induced transgene-free editing procedure(VITF-Edit)to generate Cas9-free wheat mutants by crossing BSMV-infected Cas9-transgenic wheat pollen with wild-type wheat. Our study provides a robust, convenient and tissue culture-free approach for genome editing in wheat through virus infection.Tingdong Li Jiacheng Hu Yu Sun Boshu Li Dingliang Zhang Wenli Li Jinxing Liu Dawei Li Caixia Gao Yongliang Zhang Yanpeng Wang 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,11:10
The Late Carboniferous–Early Permian Ocean-Continent Transition in the West Junggar,Central Asian Orogenic Belt: Constraints from Columnar Jointed Rhyolite显示文摘The West Junggar of the western Central Asian Orogenic Belt is one of the typical regions in the term of ocean subduction, contraction and continental growth in the Late Paleozoic. However, it is still controversial on the exact time of ocean-continent transition so far. This study investigates rhyolites with columnar joint in the West Junggar for the first time.Based on zircon U-Pb dating, we determined that the ages of the newly-discovered rhyolites are between 303.6 and 294.5 Ma, belonging to Late Carboniferous–Early Permian, which is the oldest rhyolite with columnar joint preserved in the world at present. Geochemical results show that the characteristics of the major element compositions include a high content of SiO_2(75.78–79.20 wt%) and a moderate content of Al_2O_3(12.21–13.19 wt%). The total alkali content(K_2O +Na_2O) is 6.14–8.05 wt%, among which K_2O is 2.09–4.72 wt% and the rate of K_2O/Na_2O is 0.38–3.05. Over-based minerals such as Ne, Lc, and Ac do not appear. The contents of TiO_2(0.09–0.24 wt%), CaO(0.15–0.99 wt%) and MgO(0.06–0.18 wt%) are low. A/CNK=0.91–1.68, A/NK=1.06–1.76, and as such, these are associated with the quasi-aluminum-weak peraluminous high potassium calc-alkaline and some calc-alkaline magma series. These rhyolites show a significant negative Eu anomaly with relative enrichment of LREE and LILE(Rb, Ba, Th, U, K) and depletion of Sr, HREE and HFSE(Nb, Ta, Ti, P). These rhyolites also have the characteristics of an A2-type granite, similar to the Miaoergou batholith, which indicates they both were affected by post-orogenic extension. Combining petrological, zircon U-Pb dating and geochemical characteristics of the rhyolites, we conclude that the specific time of ocean-continent transition of the West Junggar is the Late Carboniferous–Early Permian.XU Shenglin CHEN Xuanhua LI Tingdong SHI Jianjie DING Weicui LI Bing HUANG Penghui ZHANG Yiping ZHANG Yaoyao MA Feizhou 2019Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,2:9
Lithospheric Evolution and Geodynamic Process of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau: An Inspiration from the Yadong-Golmud-Ejin Geoscience Transect显示文摘The Tibet Geoscience Transect (Yadong-Golmud-Ejin) has revealed the basic structures, tectonic evolution and geodynamic process of the lithosphere of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau. The evidence of northward thrusting of the Indian plate beneath the Himalayans on the southern margin and to southward compression of the Alxa block on the northern margin has been found. They were the driving forces causing the plateau uplift. The plateau is a continent resulting from amalgamation of eight terranes. These tenanes are separated by sutures or large-scale faults, and different terranes have different lateral inhomogeneities and multi-layered lithospheric structures. At depths of about 20-30 km of the crust in the ulterior of the plateau there commonly exists a low-velocity layer. It is an uncoupled layer of the tectonic stress; above the layer, the upper crustal slices were thrust and overlapped each other and the rocks underwent brittle deformation, thus leading to shortening and thickening of the upper crustLI Tingdong GAO Rui WU Gongjian 1999Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)1999,73,2:8

An Intra-Oceanic Subduction System Influenced by Ridge Subduction in the Diyanmiao Subduction Accretionary Complex of the Xar Moron Area,Eastern Margin of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt显示文摘This study focuses on the geology,geochemistry,Sr-Nd isotopes and their tectonic settings of three types of basalts in Diyanmiao ophiolite in the Xar Moron area located on the eastern margin of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt.Type I basalts are oceanic tholeiites with a depleted light rare earth element(LREE)pattern, which are similar to the typical N-mid-oceanic ridge basalt(MORB)and suggests that they were formed at a mid-oceanic ridge. The initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios of Type I basalts range from 0.703966 to 0.705276 and theεNd(t)values are from 16.49 to 17.15,indicating that they were derived from a depleted mantle source.Type II basalts belong to the medium-potassium calc-akaline series and have the geochem-ical characteristics of Nb-enriched basalt(NEB)with high Nb content(14.5 ppm)and strong enrichment in LREEs,implying that they were created by the partial melting of mantle wedge peridotite that previously metasomatized by slab melts.Type III basalts are high-Al basalt(HAB)with high-Al contents(Al_(2)0_(3)=16.75 wt.%-18.00 wt.%),distinct Nb depletion and high Th/Yb ratios. Thus they were likely gen-erated in a normal island-arc setting. Therefore, the association of MORB,NEB,and HAB in the study area may be due to the subduction of a mid-oceanic ridge, and the Diyanmiao ophiolite is proposed to be formed in the forearc setting of a mid-oceanic ridge subduction system.Yang Cheng Qinghui Xiao Tingdong Li Liquan Xu Yuxu Fan Yan Li Lingjun Guo Jinli Pang Weiming Yuan 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,1:6
Mesenchymal stem cell treatment improves outcome of COVID-19 patients via multiple immunomodulatory mechanisms显示文摘The infusion of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients with mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)potentially improves clinical symptoms, but the underlying mechanism remains unclear. We conducted a randomized,single-blind,placebo-controlled(29 patients/group)phase II clinical trial to validate previous findings and explore the potential mechanisms.Patients treated with umbilical cord-derived MSCs exhibited a shorter hospital stay(P=0.0198)and less time required for symptoms remission(P=0.0194)than those who received placebo.Based on chest images, both severe and critical patients treated with MSCs showed improvement by day 7(P=0.0099)and day 21(P=0.0084).MSC-treated patients had fewer adverse events.MSC infusion reduced the levels of C-reactive protein, proinflammatory cytokines, and neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)and promoted the maintenance of SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies. To explore how MSCs modulate the immune system,we employed single-cell RNA sequencing analysis on peripheral blood. Our analysis identified a novel subpopulation of VNN2+hematopoietic stem/progenitorlike(HSPC-like)cells expressing CSF3R and PTPRE that were mobilized following MSC infusion.Genes encoding chemotaxis factors—CX3CR1 and L-selectin—were upregulated in various immune cells.MSC treatment also regulated B cell subsets and increased the expression of costimulatory CD28 in T cells in vivo and in vitro. In addition,an in vivo mouse study confirmed that MSCs suppressed NET release and reduced venous thrombosis by upregulating kindlin-3 signaling.Together, our results underscore the role of MSCs in improving COVID-19 patient outcomes via maintenance of immune homeostasis.Rongjia Zhu Tingdong Yan Yingmei Feng Yan Liu Hongcui Cao Gongxin Peng Yanlei Yang Zhen Xu Jingqi Liu Wei Hou Xiaoyue Wang Zhe Li Luchan Deng Shihua Wang Jing Li Qin Han Hongling Li Guangliang Shan Yinghao Cao Xingyan An Jianshe Yan Zhonghui Zhang Huafei Li Xuebin Qu Jiaqi Zhu Shumin Zhou Jiao Wang Fengchun Zhang Jinming Gao Ronghua Jin Dayong Xu Yan-Qing Ma Tao Huang Shuang Peng Zhi Zheng Ilia Stambler Eric Gilson Lee Wei Lim Alexey Moskalev Antonio Cano Sasanka Chakrabarti Brun Ulfhake Huanxing Su Haoying Xu Sihuan Xu Feng Wei Holly MBrown-Borg Kyung-Jin Min Georgina Ellison-Hughes Calogero Caruso Kunlin Jin Robert Chunhua Zhao 2021Cell Research2021,31,12:5

Geochronology and Tectonic Evolution of the West Section of the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt显示文摘As an important part of South China Old Land, the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt plays a significant role in explaining the assembly and the evolution of the Upper Yangtze Block and Cathaysia, as well as the structure and growth mechanism of continental lithosphere in South China. The Lengjiaxi and the Banxi groups are the base strata of the west section of the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt. Thus, the research of geochronology and tectonic evolution of the Lengjiaxi and the Banxi groups is significant. The maximum sedimentary age of the Lengjiaxi Group is ca.862 Ma, and the minimum is ca.822 Ma.The Zhangjiawan Formation, which is situated in the upper part of the Banxi Group is ca.802 Ma.The Lengjiaxi Group and equivalent strata should thus belong to the Neoproterozoic in age.The Jiangnan Orogenic Belt consisting of the Lengjiaxi and the Banxi groups as important constituents is not a Greenville Orogen Belt(1.3 Ga–1.0 Ga).The Jiangnan Orogenic Belt is a recyclic orogenic belt, and the prototype basin is a foreland basin with materials derived from the southwest and the sediments belong to the active continental sedimentation.By combining large amounts of dating data of the Lengjiaxi and the Banxi groups as well as equivalent strata, the evolutionary model of the western section of the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt is established as follows: Before 862 Ma, the South China Ocean was subducted beneath the Upper Yangtze Block, while a continental island arc was formed on the side near the Upper Yangtze Block. The South China Ocean was not closed in this period. From 862 Ma to 822 Ma, the Upper Yangtze Block was collided with Cathaysia; and sediments began to be deposited in the foreland basin between the two blocks. The Lengjiaxi Group and equivalent strata were thus formed and the materials might be derived from the recyclic orogenic belt. From 822 Ma to 802 Ma, Cathaysia continued pushing to the Upper Yangtze Block, experienced the Jinning-Sibao Movement(Wuling Movement); as result, the folded basement of the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt was formed. After 802 Ma, Cathaysia and the Upper Yangtze Block were separated from each other, the Nanhua rift basin was formed and began to receive the sediments of the Banxi Group and equivalent strata. These large amounts of dating data and research results also indicate that before the collision of the Upper Yangtze Block with Cathaysia, materials of the continental crust became less and less from the southwest to the east in the Jiangnan Orogeneic Belt; only island arc and neomagmatic arc were developed in the eastern section.Ocean-continent subduction or continent-continent subduction took place in the western and southern sections, while intra-oceanic subduction occurred in the eastern section.Comprehensive analyses on U-Pb ages and Hf model ages of zircons, the main provenance of the Lengjiaxi Group is Cathaysia.ZHANG Heng LI Tingdong XIE Ying ZHANG Chuanheng GAO Linzhi GENG Shufang CHEN Tingyu YOU Guoqing 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,5:4
The Yadong-Golmud Geoscience Transect in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘On the basis of abundant geological and geophysical data. 6 terranes have been distinguished on theQinghai-Tibet Plateau. The plateau is a single integrated lithospheric unit although it is divided into blocks. With Amdo as a boundary. the crust may be divided into two parts with different crustal structures. The struc-ture in the southern part is complex, while that in the northern part is simple. The current study has revealedthat 8 factors such as slab subduction. overthrust and superimposition are responsible for crustal shorteningand thickening in the region. The uplift of this region is possibly due to northward compression of the Indianplate and southward compression of the Eurasian plate with the former predominating. The compression led tothe asthenospheric movements which were also influenced by thermal activity caused by doming at the bound-ary between the core and mantle.Wu Gongjian Xiao Xuchang Li Tingdong Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Beijing Jia Zhongpeng 1990Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)1990,64,2:3

Tectonically-controlled Evolution of the Late Cenozoic Nihewan Basin, North China Craton: Constraints from Stratigraphy, Mineralogy, and Geochemistry显示文摘The Late Cenozoic basins in the Weihe–Shanxi Graben, North China Craton are delineated by northeast-striking faults. The faults have, since a long time, been related to the progressive uplift and northeastward expansion of the Tibetan Plateau. To show the relation between the basins and faults, two Pliocene–Pleistocene stratigraphic sections(Chengqiang and Hongyanangou) in the southern part of the Nihewan Basin at the northernmost parts of the graben are studied herein. Based on the sedimentary sequences and facies, the sections are divided into three evolutionary stages, such as alluvial fan-eolian red clay, fan delta, and fluvial, with boundaries at ~2.8 and ~1.8 Ma. Paleocurrent indicators, the composition of coarse clastics, heavy minerals, and the geochemistry of moderate–fine clastics are used to establish the temporal and spatial variations in the source areas. Based on features from the middlenorthern basin, we infer that the Nihewan Basin comprises an old NE–SW elongate geotectogene and a young NW–SE elongate subgeotectogene. The main geotectogene in the mid-north is a half-graben bounded by northeast-striking and northwest-dipping normal faults(e.g., Liulengshan Fault). This group of faults was mainly affected by the Pliocene(before ~2.8–2.6 Ma) NW–SE extension and controlled the deposition of sediments. In contrast, the subgeotectogene in the south was affected by northwest-striking normal faults(e.g., Huliuhe Fault) that were controlled by the subsequent weak NE–SW extension in the Pleistocene. The remarkable change in the sedimentary facies and provenance since ~1.8 Ma is possibly a signal of either weak or strong NE–SW extension. This result implies that the main tectonic transition ages of ~2.8–2.6 Ma and ~1.8 Ma in the Weihe–Shanxi Graben are affected by the Tibetan Plateau in Pliocene–Pleistocene.LIU Jin CHEN Xingqiang CHI Zhenqing WANG Yong MIN Longrui LI Tingdong 2018Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2018,92,2:2
An in planta haploid induction system in Brassica napus显示文摘Doubled haploid technology is widely used to accelerate plant breeding, but its use in the important oilseed crop Brassica napus L.is limited because B.napus haploids could only be obtained through in vitro anther or microspore cultures.Recently, maize(Zea mays)lines containing mutations in Domain of unknown function 679 membrane protein(DMP)were used as haploid inducer lines. This new haploid induction mechanism has been extended to several other plants, including the dicots Arabidopsis thaliana, tomato(Solanum lycopersicum),and tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum). Here,we knocked out four BnaDMP genes in the B.napus cultivar Westar using a clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9 vector with an enhanced green fluorescent protein expression cassette.Plants with DMP mutations in B.napus in the T_(0),T_(1),and T_(2) generations exhibited a haploid induction rate up to 2.53%.These results suggest that targeting BnaDMP could be useful for haploid induction in B.napus.Yifan Li Dan Li Qing Xiao Huadong Wang Jing Wen Jinxing Tu Jinxiong Shen Tingdong Fu Bin Yi 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,6:2
A Bama miniature pig model of monoallelic TSC1 mutation for human tuberous sclerosis complex显示文摘Tuberous sclerosis complex(TSC)is a dominant genetic neurocutaneous syndrome characterized by multiple organ hamartomas.Although rodent models bearing a germline mutation in either TSC1 or TSC2 gene have been generated, they do not develop pathogenic lesions matching those seen in patients with TSC because of the significant differences between mice and humans, highlighting the need for an improved large animal model of TSC.Here,we successfully generate monoallelic TSC1-modified Bama miniature pigs using the CRISPR/Cas9 system along with somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT)technology. The expression of phosphorylated target ribosomal protein S6 is significantly enhanced in the piglets, indicating that disruption of a TSC1 allele activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin(mTOR)signaling pathway.Notably, differing from the mouse TSC models reported previously, the TSC1^(+/−)Bama miniature pig developed cardiac rhabdomyoma and subependymal nodules, resembling the major clinical features that occur in patients with TSC.These TSC1^(+/−)Bama miniature pigs could serve as valuable large animal models for further elucidation of the pathogenesis of TSC and the development of therapeutic strategies for TSC disease.Xiaoxue Li Tingdong Hu Jiying Liu Bin Fang Xue Geng Qiang Xiong Lining Zhang Yong Jin Xiaorui Liu Lin Li Ying Wang Rongfeng Li Xiaochun Bai Haiyuan Yang Yifan Dai 2020Journal of Genetics and Genomics2020,47,12:2
Lithofacies Characters and Significance of the Submarine Fan of the Liufengguan Group in Qinling显示文摘Field investigation and laboratory research on flysch of the Liufengguan Group in Qinling indicate the following:(1) Sandstone of the Liufengguan Group is categorized as feldspathic lithic graywacke with a minor amount of lithic graywacke in the QFR triangular diagram.Grain size≤0.3 mm.Bedding plane structures such as groove casts and suspected flute casts can be found at the bottom of the sandstone. It is inferred that currents may have come from the southeast during deposition.Bedding structures such as ripple marks, graded bedding, parallel bedding,small-scale cross bedding, climbing bedding, suspected convolute bedding, microlamination and sliding structures have also been observed, which are of indicative significance. It is thought that the Liufengguan Group has the sedimentary characteristics of bedding, bedding plane structures and lithological assemblages of deep-sea low-density turbidity current deposits. The vertical succession of the Bouma sequence in the inner fan subfacies zone is generally incomplete:the assemblage of Ta and Tabc is commonly seen;the succession of the middle fan subfacies zone is relatively complete;and divisions Te and Tb are common in the outer fan subfacies zone.(2) The flysh of the Liufengguan Group is a sequence of deep-sea argillaceous-arenaceous submarine fan deposits,in which the authors recognize the inner, middle and outer fan subfacies and also nine types of lithofacies:normal graded sandstone(A1),medium-to thick-bedded,fine-grained sandstone(A2),medium-to thick-bedded and massive siltstone(A3),thin-bedded,fine-grained sandstone and mudstone(B1),irregular interbeds of thin-bedded,fine-grained sandstone and siltstone(B2),thin-bedded,fine-grained sandstone(C1),very thin-bedded,fine-grained sandstone(D1),olistostromes(E1) and deep-sea mudstone(F).The inner fan consists of four microfacies:natural levee(A1),water channel(A2,A3) and olistostrome(E1);in the middle fan there also occur four microfacies,i.e.,branch channel(B1),branch channel(B2),interdistributary bay(D1) and olistostrome. The outer fan is made up of the branch channel(C1) and sheet sand(D1) microfacies, which alternate vertically with sediments of deep-sea plain subfacies(F).There occur fining-and thinning-upward channel deposits in the outer-fan subfacies zone of the submarine fan of the Liufengguan Group observed in this study. The quartz content of the graywacke of the deposits is all higher than 40% and may reach as high as 60%.Therefore,on the basis of the aforementioned features, this flysh should be formed in a passive continental-margin tectonic environment.ZHENG Ning LI Tingdong YOU Guoqing ZHANG Shuanhou CUI Jiantang CHENG Muwei 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1:2
Tomographic Imaging of the India-Asia Plate Collisional Tectonics and Mantle Upwelling Beneath Western Tibet显示文摘To better understand the lithosphere mantle collision tectonics between the India plate and Asia plate, we determine three dimensional P wave velocity structure beneath western Tibet using 27,439 arrival times from 2,174 teleseismic events recorded by 182 stations of Hi-CLIMB Project and 16 stations in the north of Hi-CLMB. Our tomographic images show the velocity structure significantly difference beneath northern and southern Qiangtang, which can further prove that the Longmu Co-Shuanghu ophiolitic belt is a significant tectonic boundary fault zone. There are two prominent high velocity anomalies and two prominent low velocity anomalies in our images. One obvious high velocity anomalies subduct beneath the Tibet at the long distance near 34°N, whereas it is broke off by an obvious low velocity anomaly under the IYS. We interpret them as northward subducting Indian lithosphere mantle and the low velocity anomanly under IYS likely reflects mantle material upwelling triggered by tearing of the northward subduction Indian lithosphere. The other prominent high velocity anomaly was imaged at a depth from 50 km to 200 km horizontal and up to the northern Qiangtang with its southern edge extending to about 34°N through Hoh Xil block. We infer it as the southward subducting Asia lithosphere mantle. The other widely low velocity anomaly beneath the Qiangtang block lies in the gap between the frontier of India plate and Asia plate, where is the channel of mantle material upwelling.ZHENG Hongwei LI Tingdong HE Rizheng YANG Hui NIU Xiao ZOU Changqiao 2020Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,4:2
