3YAGG:Ce transparent ceramics with high luminous efficiency for solid-state lighting application显示文摘A series of Y2.985Al5–xGaxO12:0.015Ce(YAGG:Ce,x=0,1,2,3,4,5)transparent ceramics were prepared via a solid-state reaction method.Two-step sintering technique was proved to be an effective approach to prepare functional ceramics with high Ga concentration,and Y3Ga5O12(YGG)transparent ceramic was successfully prepared for the first time.According to the variation of Al/Ga ratio,regulation of band structure and luminescence properties of YAGG:Ce transparent ceramics were effectively investigated.When Ga substitutes Al sites,the tetrahedral site is more favorable compared to the octahedral site for Ga to occupy according to the first-principle calculation.A continuous blue shift of the emission from 565 to 515 nm was achieved as Ga was gradually introduced into Y3Al5O12:Ce matrix.High quality green light was obtained by coupling the YAGG:Ce ceramics with commercial blue InGaN chips.Transparent luminescence ceramics accomplished in this work can be quite prospective for high power LED application.Hui HUA Shaowei FENG Zhongyu OUYANG Hezhu SHAO Haiming QIN Hui DING Qiping DU Zhijun ZHANG Jun JIANG Haochuan JIANG 2019Journal of Advanced Ceramics2019,8,3:13

First, a novel concept called finite-time performance function (FTPF) is defined. 7Machine Learning for 5G and Beyond:From ModelBased to Data-Driven Mobile Wireless Networks显示文摘During the past few decades,mobile wireless communications have experienced four generations of technological revolution,namely from 1 G to 4 G,and the deployment of the latest 5 G networks is expected to take place in 2019.One fundamental question is how we can push forward the development of mobile wireless communications while it has become an extremely complex and sophisticated system.We believe that the answer lies in the huge volumes of data produced by the network itself,and machine learning may become a key to exploit such information.In this paper,we elaborate why the conventional model-based paradigm,which has been widely proved useful in pre-5 G networks,can be less efficient or even less practical in the future 5 G and beyond mobile networks.Then,we explain how the data-driven paradigm,using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques,can become a promising solution.At last,we provide a typical use case of the data-driven paradigm,i.e.,proactive load balancing,in which online learning is utilized to adjust cell configurations in advance to avoid burst congestion caused by rapid traffic changes.Tianyu Wang Shaowei Wang Zhi-Hua Zhou 2019China Communications2019,16,1:10

11Association of emergency room visits for respiratory diseases with sources of ambient PM2.5显示文摘Previous studies have reported associations of short-term exposure to different sources of ambient fine particulate matter(PM2.5)and increased mortality or hospitalizations for respiratory diseases.Few studies,however,have focused on the short-term effects of source-specific PM2.5 on emergency room visits(ERVs)of respiratory diseases.Source apportionment for PM2.5 was performed with Positive Matrix Factorization(PMF)and generalized additive model was applied to estimate associations between source-specific PM2.5 and respiratory disease ERVs.The association of PM2.5 and total respiratory ERVs was found on lag4(RR=1.011,95%CI:1.002,1.020)per interquartile range(76μg/m3)increase.We found PM2.5 to be significantly associated with asthma,bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)ERVs,with the strongest effects on lag5(RR=1.072,95%CI:1.024,1.119),lag4(RR=1.104,95%CI:1.032,1.176)and lag3(RR=1.091,95%CI:1.047,1.135),respectively.The estimated effects of PM2.5 changed little after adjusting for different air pollutants.Six primary PM2.5 sources were identified using PMF analysis,including dust/soil(6.7%),industry emission(4.5%),secondary aerosols(30.3%),metal processing(3.2%),coal combustion(37.5%)and traffic-related source(17.8%).Some of the sources were identified to have effects on ERVs of total respiratory diseases(dust/soil,secondary aerosols,metal processing,coal combustion and traffic-related source),bronchitis ERVs(dust/soil)and COPD ERVs(traffic-related source,industry emission and secondary aerosols).Different sources of PM2.5 contribute to increased risk of respiratory ERVs to different extents,which may provide potential implications for the decision making of air quality related policies,rational emission control and public health welfare.Rui Chi Hongyu Li Qian Wang Qiangrong Zhai Daidai Wang Meng Wu Qichen Liu Shaowei Wu Qingbian Ma Furong Deng Xinbiao Guo 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,12:8

15Review of the SBAS InSAR Time-series algorithms, applications, and challenges显示文摘In the past 30 years,the small baseline subset(SBAS)InSAR time-series technique has emerged as an essential tool for measuring slow surface displacement and estimating geophysical parameters.Because of its ability to monitor large-scale deformation with millimeter accuracy,the SBAS method has been widely used in various geodetic fields,such as ground subsidence,landslides,and seismic activity.The obtained long-term time-series cumulative deformation is vital for studying the deformation mecha-nism.This article reviews the algorithms,applications,and challenges of the SBAS method.First,we recall the fundamental principle and analyze the shortcomings of the traditional SBAS algorithm,which provides a basic framework for the following improved time series methods.Second,we classify the current improved SBAS techniques from different perspectives:solving the ill-posed equation,increasing the density of high-coherence points,improving the accuracy of monitoring deformation and measuring the multi-dimensional deformation.Third,we summarize the application of the SBAS method in monitoring ground subsidence,permafrost degradation,glacier movement,volcanic activity,landslides,and seismic activity.Finally,we discuss the difficulties faced by the SBAS method and explore its future development direction.Shaowei Li Wenbin Xu Zhiwei Li 2022Geodesy and Geodynamics2022,13,2:6

18Tribological Behavior of In Situ TiC/Graphene/Graphite/Ti6Al4V Matrix Composite Through Laser Cladding显示文摘The TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating was prepared by laser cladding.The microstructure and tribological behavior of the coating were studied.The in situ reaction between graphene and Ti occurred,and feathery TiC was formed.The feathery TiC was homogeneously distributed betweenα’acicular martensites which was refined with the addition of graphene.Some graphene was transformed into allotrope graphite under the laser irradiation.The TiC hard particles and the self-lubrication of graphene/graphite improved the wear resistance of composite coating.The wear rate and friction coefficient of TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating decreased with the increase in sliding speed,a mechanical mixing layer(MML)was formed on the wear surface of the composite coating under the frictional heat,which protected the substrate and reduced the contact.Because of the self-lubricating properties of graphene/graphite,interlayer sliding occurred easily,which also effectively reduced friction.The wear rate of TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating increased with the increase in load,but the friction coefficient decreased.The plastic deformation of subsurface layer was more serious under high load,and a stable self-lubricating MML with a protective effect was formed between the wear interfaces,which reduced the friction coefficient.With the increase in load,the wear mechanism changed from abrasive and oxidation wear to delamination,fatigue and oxidation wear.Zhanyong Zhao Lizheng Zhang Peikang Bai Wenbo Du Shaowei Wang Xiangyan Xu Qingnan Dong Yuxin Li Bing Han 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,10:5
19Lossless data hiding based on prediction-error adjustment显示文摘A novel lossless data hiding scheme based on a combination of prediction and the prediction-error adjustment (PEA) is presented in this paper. For one pixel,its four surrounding neighboring pixels are used to predict it and 1-bit watermark information is embedded into the prediction-error. In traditional approaches,for the purpose of controlling embedding distortion,only pixels with small prediction-errors are used for embedding. However,when the threshold is small,it is difficult to efficiently com-press the location map which is used to identify embedding locations. Thus,PEA is introduced to make large prediction-error available for embedding while causing low embedding distortions,and accord-ingly,the location map can be compressed well. As a result,the hiding capacity is largely increased. 20A synchronous nucleation and passivation strategy for controllable synthesis of Au36(PA)24: unveiling the formation process and the role of Au22(PA)18 intermediate显示文摘Despite the recent progress on controllable synthesis of alkynyl-protected Au nanoclusters,the effective synthetic means are very limited and the cluster formation process still remains puzzling.Here,we develop a novel synchronous nucleation and passivation strategy to fabricate Au36(PA)24(PA=phenylacetylenyl) nanoclusters with high yield.In Au36(PA)24formation process,Au22(PA)18as key intermediate was identified.Meanwhile,Au22(PA)18can be synthesized under a low amount of reductant,and by employing more reductants,Au22(PA)18can turn into Au36(PA)24eventually.Moreover,the structure evolution from Au22(PA)18to Au36(PA)24is proposed,where four Au13cuboctahedra can yield one Au28kernel.Finally,the ratiocination is verified by the good accordance between the predicted intermediate/product ratio and the experimental value.This study not only offers a novel synthetic strategy,but also sheds light on understanding the structural evolution process of alkynyl-protected Au nanoclusters at atomic level.Xiaoshuang Ma Guanyu Ma Lubing Qin Guangxu Chen Shaowei Chen Zhenghua Tang 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,12:4
