3Therapeutic effect of natural melanin from edible fungus Auricularia auricula on alcohol-induced liver damage in vitro and in vivo显示文摘This study explored the therapeutic effects of Auricularia auricula melanin(AAM)on alcoholic liver damage in vitro and in vivo.Human normal liver L02 cells were pre-treated with ethanol and then treated with AAM to explore the therapeutic effect of AAM on ethanol-induced hepatocyte injury.The results show that AAM signifi cantly elevated the cell viability,ameliorated the cell morphology,reduced the ROS and increased the GSH/GSSG of ethanol-pretreated L02 cells.Then,mice were administered with ethanol to induce acute alcoholic liver damage,and administered with AAM to further study the therapeutic effect of AAM on alcoholic liver damage in mice.As a result,AAM reduced the levels of ALT,AST,TG,and MDA,increased the levels of ADH,SOD,and CAT in liver damage mice.The therapeutic effect of AAM may be related to inhibition of CYP2E1 expression and activation of Nrf2 and its downstream antioxidase.The research enriched the bioactivity of AAM and provided some ideas for the development of melanin-related health foods.Ruolin Hou Xin Liu Xiaoping Wu Mingfeng Zheng Junsheng Fu 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,4:4
4Geochemistry and Geochronology of the Gebunongba Iron Polymetallic Deposit in the Gangdese Belt, Tibet显示文摘The Gebunongba iron polymetallic deposit is a typical skarn deposit located at the westernmost end of the discovered iron polymetallic deposits in the Gangdese metallogenic belt. Major and trace elements of the monzonite granite related to mineralization show that these rocks are peraluminous(ACNK=1.15–1.21) and are rich in Si(76.63 wt.%–76.93 wt.% SiO2), K(K2 O/Na2 O ratio of 1.80–2.30), LREE and LILEs(Rb, Ba, Th, U, Pb), but is depleted in high field strength elements(Nb, Ta, Ti and HREE). In addition, these rocks show obviously negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.48–0.55). The LA-ICPMS U-Pb age of zircons in monzonite granite is 59.72±0.55 Ma(MSWD=0.79), whereas the 40 Ar/39 Ar age of muscovite in iron ores is 59.22±0.61 Ma(MSWD=16.20). This indicates that the deposit formed at the syn-collision stage of Lhasa-India terrane is later than the northward subduction of the Yajiang crust. The monzonite granite has been probably derived from the partial melting of ancient lower crustal materials, which is probably resulted from the underplating of mantle-derived magmas. It is favorable for the formation of iron polymetallic deposit. Iron polymetallic mineralization is prevalent in Gangdese metallogenic belt at syn-collision stage. Therefore, syn-collision stage is an important mineralization stage for iron polymetallic deposits. 5Constructing an unbalanced structure toward high working voltage for improving energy density of non-aqueous carbon-based electrochemical capacitors显示文摘The energy density of non-aqueous carbon-based electrochemical capacitors(cEC)is mainly determined by the specific capacitance and operational voltage range.In this study,we propose to construct an unbalanced structure to make full use of stable voltage range for improving energy density.The stable voltage range is firstly carefully explored using cyclic voltammetry.Then an unbalanced carbon-based electrochemical capacitor(ucEC)is constructed with an optimized positive electrode to negative electrode weight ratio and voltage range.Its electrochemical performance is comprehensively investigated,including energy density,power density as well as cycle life.The ucEC is capable to deliver an improved energy density up to 64.9 Wh/kg(1.4 times as high as a general cEC)without sacrificing the power density and cycle life.The electrode properties after cycling are also analyzed,illustrating the change of electrode potential caused by unbalanced structure.The proposed structure demonstrates a great potential for improving the energy density at little cost of electrode design and cell configuration.Junsheng Zheng Nan Qin Liming Jin Xin Guo Chao Shen Qiang Wu Jim PZheng 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3:2
6The effect of electrolyte additives on the rate performance of hard carbon anode at low temperature for lithium-ion capacitor显示文摘Lithium-ion capacitor(LIC),which combines the advantages of lithium-ion battery(LIB)and electrical double layer capacitor(EDLC),has a rapid development during last decade,however,the poor low temperature performance still limits its application.In this paper,three electrolyte additives including vinylene carbonate(VC),fluoroethylene carbonate(FEC)and 1,3,2-dioxathiolane 2,2-dioxide(DTD)have been utilized and their effects on the rate performance of hard carbon(HC)anode of LIC at various temperatures ranging from 25℃ to-40℃ have been well evaluated.The cell containing FEC shows the best rate performance at various temperatures and has the charge and discharge capability even at-40℃.For HC anode,the charge transfer impedance(R_(CT))increases exponentially at low temperature,while the equivalent series resistance(Rs)and the impedance of solid electrolyte interface(SEI)increase relatively few.At low temperatures,the effect of FEC may be mainly reflected in its effect on the charge transfer process.Jianmin Yuan Nan Qin Yanyan Lu Liming Jin Junsheng Zheng Jim P.Zheng 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:2

10Supramolecular-mediated ball-in-ball porous carbon nanospheres for ultrafast energy storage显示文摘Hierarchical porous carbons are the most viable electrode material for supercapacitors because of their balanced capacitive performance and chemical stability.Their pore connectivity plays a pivotal role in electrolyte transport,which is quantified by a new parameter,defined in this work as the longest possible pore separation(LPPS).Herein,we report hierarchical porous carbon nanospheres(HPC-NS)with a unique ball-in-ball structure,which is achieved by the pyrolysis of a supramolecular complex ofγ-cyclodextrin(γ-CD)/PEO-PPO-PEO(F127).This approach differs from the conventional softtemplating method in that,apart from the assembly of the monomicelles that leads to the host nanospheres(approximately 300 nm),theγ-CD-containing monomicelles themselves are converted to small porous carbon nanospheres(<10 nm),which results in an ultralow LPPS of 10 nm,representing the bestknown pore connectivity of the HPC family.The HPC-NS delivers a high specific capacitance(405 F g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1)and 71%capacitance retention at 200 A g^(-1)),wide voltage window(up to 1.6 V),and simultaneously high energy and power densities(24.3 Wh kg^(-1)at a power density of 151 W kg^(-1)and 9 Wh kg^(-1)at 105 W kg^(-1))in aqueous electrolytes.This new strategy boosts the development of porous carbon electrodes for aqueous supercapacitors with simultaneously high power and energy densities.Lei Yao Junsheng Lin Yuanyuan Chen Xiujuan Li Dongrui Wang Haitao Yang Libo Deng Zijian Zheng 2022InfoMat2022,4,4:1
