| 1 | 伊犁黄土的磁学性质及其与黄土高原对比显示文摘近20多年来黄土高原的黄土磁学性质与古气候研究取得了重要进展,极大地推动了东亚古季风演化、亚洲内陆干旱化及过去全球变化的研究,但对亚洲内陆天山地区的黄土磁学性质知之甚少.选择天山伊犁盆地黄土剖面进行了系统的磁性测量,包括磁化率、无磁滞磁化率、高低温磁化率和磁滞参数等,并与黄土高原进行了对比,开展了伊犁黄土的X射线衍射矿物学分析,初步探讨了伊犁黄土磁化率增强的机制.结果表明,伊犁黄土磁性矿物的总含量要远远低于黄土高原,但磁性矿物类型与黄土高原黄土基本类似,以磁铁矿、磁赤铁矿和赤铁矿为主,部分样品还有钛铁矿等.在磁性矿物中磁赤铁矿占的比例总体上要比黄土高原黄土低,而磁铁矿和赤铁矿占的比例比黄土高原黄土要高.磁性矿物的粒度要比黄土高原粗,以准单畴(PSD)和多畴(MD)为主.成壤作用产生的细粒超顺磁体对磁化率的贡献非常有限,粒径为PSD和MD的磁铁矿和磁赤铁矿为伊犁黄土磁化率的主要贡献者.伊犁黄土磁化率增强既有风速论模式(阿拉斯加或西伯利亚黄土成土模式),又有黄土高原超细颗粒成壤模式,但以前一种模式为主导.伊犁黄土磁化率增强除与源区的原生磁性矿物有关以外,还与当地的地形气候环境和地质背景有关.伊犁黄土磁化率增强的机制十分复杂,将磁化率应用古气候的解释时要慎重. | 宋友桂 史正涛 方小敏 NIE Junsheng NAOTO Ishikawa 强小科 王旭龙 | 2010 | 中国科学(D辑)2010,40,1: | 48 |
| 2 | Reactive oxygen species signaling and stomatal movement in plant responses to drought stress and pathogen attack显示文摘Stomata, the pores formed by a pair of guard cells, are the main gateways for water transpiration and photosynthetic CO_2 exchange, as well as pathogen invasion in land plants. Guard cell movement is regulated by a combination of environmental factors, including water status, light, CO_2 levels and pathogen attack, as well as endogenous signals, such as abscisic acid and apoplastic reactive oxygen species(ROS). Under abiotic and bioticstress conditions, extracellular ROS are mainly produced by plasma membrane-localized NADPH oxidases, whereas intracellular ROS are produced in multiple organelles. These ROS form a sophisticated cellular signaling network, with the accumulation of apoplastic ROS an early hallmark of stomatal movement. Here, we review recent progress in understanding the molecular mechanisms of the ROS signaling network,primarily during drought stress and pathogen attack. We summarize the roles of apoplastic ROS in regulating stomatal movement, ABA and CO_2 signaling, and immunity responses.Finally, we discuss ROS accumulation and communication between organelles and cells. | 4 | Prognostic nutritional index is an independent prognostic factor for gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination显示文摘Objective: The predictive and prognostic role of prognostic nutritional index(PNI) in gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination remains unclear. This study aims to explore the role of the PNI in predicting outcomes of gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination.Methods: A total of 660 patients diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma with peritoneal metastasis between January 2000 and April 2014 at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center and the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yatsen University were retrospectively analyzed. The clinicopathologic characteristics and clinical outcomes of patients with peritoneal dissemination were analyzed.Results: Compared with PNI-high group, PNI-low group was correlated with advanced age(P=0.036), worse performance status(P<0.001), higher frequency of ascites(P<0.001) and higher frequency of multisite distant metastasis(P<0.001). Kaplan-Meier survival curves showed that PNI-high group had a significantly longer median overall survival than PNI-low group(13.13 vs. 9.03 months, P<0.001). Multivariate survival analysis revealed that Borrmann type IV(P=0.014), presence of ascites(P=0.017) and lower PNI(P=0.041) were independent poor prognostic factors, and palliative surgery(P<0.001) and first-line chemotherapy(P<0.001) were good prognostic factors. For patients receiving palliative surgery, the postoperative morbidity rates in the PNI-low group and PNIhigh group were 9.1% and 9.9%, respectively(P=0.797). | 5 | Effects of minor Sc on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr based alloys显示文摘Five kinds of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr based alloys with different Sc additions were prepared by ingot metallurgy. The effects of minor Sc on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr based alloys were investigated using tensile tests, optical microscopy (OM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength are improved by 94 and 110 MPa, respectively, and the elongation to failure remains at a reasonable extent (11.1%) in the Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr based alloy with 0.21 wt.% Sc addition after solution heat treatment at 475°C for 40 min and then aged at 120°C for 24 h. The addition of minor Sc induces the formation of Al3(Sc,Zr) particles, which are highly effective in refining the cast microstructures, retarding recrystallization, and pinning dislocations. | 7 | Effects of tourmaline on nitrogen removal performance and biofilm structures in the sequencing batch biofilm reactor显示文摘The effects of tourmaline on nitrogen removal performance and biofilm structures were comparatively investigated in two identical laboratory-scale sequencing batch biofilm reactors(SBBRs)(denoted SBBR1 and SBBR2) at different nitrogen loading rates(NLRs) varying from(0.24 ± 0.01) to(1.26 ± 0.02) g N/(L·day). SBBR1 was operated in parallel with SBBR2, but SBBR1 was filled with polyurethane foam loaded tourmaline(TPU) carriers and another(SBBR2) filled with polyurethane foam(PU) carriers. Results obtained from this study showed that the excellent and stable performance of SBBR1 was obtained. Ammonia nitrogen removal and total nitrogen removal were higher in SBBR1 than that in SBBR2 with increase of NLR. At an NLR of(0.24 ± 0.01) g N/(L·day), the majority of the spherical and elliptical bacteria were surrounded by the extracellular polymeric substance(EPS) and bacillus or filamentous bacteria in two SBBRs biofilms. When NLR increased to(1.26 ± 0.02) g N/(L·day), the clusters were more obvious in the SBBR1 biofilm than that in the SBBR2 biofilm. Bacteria in SBBR1 were inclined to synthesis more EPS, and the formed EPS could protect the bacteria from free ammonia(FA) under extreme condition NLR(1.26 ± 0.02) g N/(L·day). | 8 | Interplay between Kitaev interaction and single ion anisotropy in ferromagnetic CrI_(3) and CrGeTe_(3) monolayers显示文摘Magnetic anisotropy is crucially important for the stabilization of two-dimensional(2D)magnetism,which is rare in nature but highly desirable in spintronics and for advancing fundamental knowledge.Recent works on CrI3 and CrGeTe_(3) monolayers not only led to observations of the long-time-sought 2D ferromagnetism,but also revealed distinct magnetic anisotropy in the two systems,namely Ising behavior for CrI3 versus Heisenberg behavior for CrGeTe_(3).Such magnetic difference strongly contrasts with structural and electronic similarities of these two materials,and understanding it at a microscopic scale should be of large benefits.Here,firstprinciples calculations are performed and analyzed to develop a simple Hamiltonian,to investigate magnetic anisotropy of CrI3 and CrGeTe_(3) monolayers.The anisotropic exchange coupling in both systems is surprisingly determined to be of Kitaev-type.Moreover,the interplay between this Kitaev interaction and single ion anisotropy(SIA)is found to naturally explain the different magnetic behaviors of CrI3 and CrGeTe_(3).Finally,both the Kitaev interaction and SIA are further found to be induced by spin–orbit coupling of the heavy ligands(I of CrI3 or Te of CrGeTe_(3))rather than the commonly believed 3d magnetic Cr ions. | Changsong Xu Junsheng Feng Hongjun Xiang Laurent Bellaiche | 2018 | npj Computational Materials2018,,1: | 10 |
| 9 | Occurrence and infection risk of waterborne pathogens in Wanzhou watershed of the Three Gorges Reservoir, China显示文摘The Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR), formed by China's Yangtze Three Gorges Project, is the largest lake in the world, but there is too little information available about fecal contamination and waterborne pathogen impacts on this aquatic ecosystem. During two successive 1-year study periods (July 2009 to July 2011), the water quality in Wanzhou watershed of the TGR was tested with regard to the presence of fecal indicators and pathogens. According to Chinese and World Health Organization water quality standards, water quality in the mainstream was good but poor in backwater areas. Salmonella, Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli (EHEC), Giardia and Cryptosporidium were detected in the watershed. Prevalence and concentrations of the pathogens in the mainstream were lower than those in backwater areas. The estimated risk of infection with Salmonella, EHEC, Cryptosporidium, and Giardia per exposure event ranged from 2.9 × 10 -7 to 1.68 × 10-5 , 7.04 × 10-10 to 2.36 × 10-7 , 5.39 × 10-6 to 1.25 × 10-4 and 0 to 1.2 × 10-3 , respectively, for occupational divers and recreational swimmers exposed to the waters. The estimated risk of infection at exposure to the 95% upper confidence limit concentrations of Salmonella, Cryptosporidium and Giardia may be up to 2.62 × 10-5 , 2.55 × 10-4 and 2.86 × 10-3 , respectively. | 10 | MiRNA-206 inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma cell proliferation and migration but promotes apoptosis by modulating cMET expression显示文摘A close relationship between cancer progression and microRNAs(miRNAs)regulation has been demonstrated.Abnormal microRNA-206(miR-206)expression has been shown to be related to the development of malignancies.However,the role of miR-206 in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remains unclear.Here,we evaluated the function of miR-206 in HCC.Results showed that miR-206 expression was decreased in 27 human HCC tissues compared with that of adjacent normal tissues.Conversely,cMET was up-regulated in human HCC cancer tissues,and cMET levels were shown to be negatively correlated with miR-206 expression.Abnormally increased miR-206 expression in three HCC cell lines(SMMC-7721,HepG2,and Huh7)attenuated cell viability,migration,and invasion.Increased apoptosis was also observed in these miR-206 expressing cells.Furthermore,we identified that miR-206 targets the 3′-UTR of the cMET gene for silencing,and restoration of cMET expression reversed the inhibitory effect of miR-206 on HCC.Tumor cells expressing miR-206 also showed delayed growth in the in vivo experiments compared with the controls.Altogether,our findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of HCC oncogenesis. | Yuanxi Wang Qinwen Tai Jinhui Zhang Junsheng Kang Feng Gao Feng Zhong Liquan Cai Fa Fang Yi Gao | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,3: | 7 |
| 11 | Preparation,Characterization and Comparative NH_3-sensing Characteristic Studies of PANI/inorganic Oxides Nanocomposite Thin Films显示文摘Polyaniline (PANI), polyaniline/titanium dioxide (PANI/TiO2), polyaniline/tin oxide (PANI/SnO2) and polyani- line/indium oxide ℃(PANI/In2O3) thin films were developed by using an in-situ self-assembly method at ~10℃. Chemical structure, optical property and morphology of all the thin films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, scanning electron mi- croscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). NH3 gas-sensing properties of PANI and PANI nanocomposite thin films were examined at ambient temperature. The results showed that all the sensors composed of PANI nanocomposite thin films had faster response/recovery rate with better reproducibility, selectivity and long-term stability to NH3 than PANI thin film sensor, and PANI/TiO2 nanocomposite thin film sensor showed optimum NH3 gas-sensing characteristics. | 12 | First-principle investigation on the interfacial structure evolution of the δ'/θ'/δ'composite precipitates in Al-Cu-Li alloys显示文摘The precipitation sequence in Al-Cu-Li alloys is sensitively dependent on the Cu/Li ratio.In the low ratio Cu/Li alloys of 1-2.5,theδ'phases usually nucleate and grow from the 0'precipitates,formingδ'/θ'/δ'composite precipitates.In this work,we present a first-principle study on atomic structures and their relative stabilities of the growingδ'/θ'/δ'composite precipitates in Al-Cu-Li alloys.Based on the analysis of the interface formation energy,constituted interface and coherent strains energies,an'anti-phase1/2[110]'relationship for the oppositeδ'has been proposed when the inwardθ'has an odd number of Cu-layers.It may be achieved by translating one side of theδ'by 2(1/2)/2 a along the[110]slip direction,which is an energetically most favorable path.By analyzing the bonding characteristics,both the'zigzag Al-Li combined with Cu'and the'zigzag Al-Al'interracial terminals are found to control the interface structure of the growingδ'/θ'/δ'.According to the calculated ideal tensile strength,the'anti-phase 1/2[110]'structure is most stable to some extent.When Li atoms at the interface enter decohesion mode along the applied strain,the stableδ'/θ'/δ'is prone to failure because of relatively weak Li-Al covalent bonds.Therefore,the really thin 8'in 8'/0'/8'composite precipitates may be explained by the continuous disassociation of Li atoms from the interface.In addition,a very weak Cu-Li covalent bond was suggested in theδ'/θ'/δ'composite precipitates.This is in sharp contrast to previous reports. | Shuo Wang Chi Zhang Xin Li Houbing Huang Junsheng Wang | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,58,23: | 7 |
| 13 | Effects of elevated CO_2 on the nutrient compositions and enzymes activities of Nilaparvata lugens nymphs fed on rice plants显示文摘Elevated CO 2 may reduce the tolerance of Nilaparvata lugen (N. lugens) to adverse environmental factors through the biological and physiological degeneration of N. lugens. In an artificial climate box, under 375 and 750 μL L 1 CO 2 levels, the rice stems nutrient content, the nutrient content and enzyme activities of N. lugens nymph fed on rice seedlings exposed to ambient and elevated CO 2 were studied. The results showed that rice stems had significantly higher protein and total amino acid levels under ambient than elevated CO 2 levels. Nymphs had significantly higher protein levels in the ambient CO 2 treatment, while their glucose levels were significantly lower under ambient CO 2 conditions. Significantly higher trypsin activity was observed in nymphs grown in elevated CO 2 . Significantly lower activities of the protective enzymes total superoxide dismutase and catalase were observed in the nymphs under ambient CO 2 . Meanwhile, the activity of the detoxification enzyme glutathione S-transferase was significantly higher in the ambient CO 2 treatment. With the development of imaging and sequencing-based technologies, 3D genome studies have revealed that the high-order chromatin structure is composed of hierarchical levels, including chromosome territories, A/B compartments, topologically associated domains, and chromatin loops. However, how this chromatin architecture is formed and maintained is not completely clear. | 15 | An efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst derived from layer-by-layer self-assembly of a three-dimensional porous Co-N-C@graphene显示文摘Three-dimensional (3D) porous carbon-based materials with tunable composition and microstructure are of great interest for the development of oxygen involved electrocatalytic reactions. Here, we report the synthesis of 3D porous carbon-based electrocatalyst by self-assembling Co-metal organic frameworks (MOF) building blocks on graphene via a layer-by-layer technique. Precise control of the structure and morphology is achieved by varying the MOF layer to tune the electrocatalytic properties. The as-produced electrocatalyst exhibits an excellent catalytic activity for the oxygen reduction reaction in 0.1molL^-1 KOH, showing a high onset potential of 0.963V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE) and a low tafel slope of 54mVdec^-1, compared to Pt/C (0.934V and 52mVdec^-1, respectively). Additionally, it shows a slightly lower potential vs. RHE (1.72V) than RuO2 (1.75V) at 10mAcm^-2 in an alkaline electrolyte. A rechargeable Zn-air battery based on the as-produced 3D porous catalyst demonstrates a high peak power density of 119mWcm^-2 at a cell voltage of 0.578V while retaining an excellent stability over 250 charge-discharge cycles. | Shichang Cai Rui Wang William M. | 16 | Analysis and external validation of a nomogram to predict peritoneal dissemination in gastric cancer显示文摘Objective:Peritoneal dissemination is difficult to diagnose by conventional imaging technologies.We aimed to construct a nomogram to predict peritoneal dissemination in gastric cancer(GC)patients.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 1,112 GC patients in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center between2001 and 2010 as the development set and 474 patients from The Sixth Affiliated Hospital,Sun Yat-sen University between 2010 and 2016 as the validation set.The clinicopathological variables associated with gastric cancer with peritoneal dissemination(GCPD)were analyzed.We used logistic regression analysis to identify independent risk factors for peritoneal dissemination.Then,we constructed a nomogram for the prediction of GCPD and defined its predictive value with a receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.External validation was performed to validate the applicability of the nomogram.Results:In total,250 patients were histologically identified as having peritoneal dissemination.Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that age,sex,tumor location,tumor size,signet-ring cell carcinoma(SRCC),T stage,N stage and Borrmann classification IV(Borrmann IV)were independent risk factors for peritoneal dissemination.We constructed a nomogram consisting of these eight factors to predict GCPD and found an optimistic predictive capability,with a C-index of 0.791,an area under the curve(AUC)of 0.791,and a 95%confidence interval(95%CI)of 0.762-0.820.The results found in the external validation set were also promising.Conclusions:We constructed a highly sensitive nomogram that can assist clinicians in the early diagnosis of GCPD and serve as a reference for optimizing clinical management strategies. | Xijie Chen Shi Chen Xinyou Wang Runcong Nie Dongwen Chen Jun Xiang Yijia Lin Yingbo Chen Junsheng Peng | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,2: | 6 |

| 18 | Magnetic properties of surface soils across the southern Tarim Basin and their relationship with climate and source materials显示文摘The magnetic susceptibility (χ) of surface soils on the Chinese Loess Plateau (CLP) has strong positive correlation with mean annual precipitation.It is widely accepted that ultrafine magnetite/maghemite grains produced during pedogenesis are responsible for the enhancement of χ,and loess χ on the CLP has been widely used as a proxy for the intensity of the East Asian summer monsoon.However,few works have investigated mechanisms for the enhancement of χ in the case of surface aeolian sediments in westerly-dominated inland China,north of the Tibetan Plateau.Here detailed rock magnetism and grain size studies of 49 surface samples taken across the southern Tarim Basin for different rainfall/temperature/altitude conditions are presented.The results show that samples taken from desert have the lowest χ values and that χ of loessic sand and loess samples decreases with increasing altitude.In addition,the rock magnetism studies suggest that the magnetic properties of surface soils across the southern Tarim Basin are mainly controlled by the concentration of coarse aeolian ferrimagnetic minerals.The contribution of ultrafine pedogenically produced magnetic grains to χ is very limited. | ZAN JinBo FANG XiaoMin NIE JunSheng YANG ShengLi SONG ChunHui DAI Shuang | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,3: | 5 |

| 20 | A nomogram to predict prognosis for gastric cancer with peritoneal dissemination显示文摘Objective: To identify independent prognostic factors to be included in a nomogram to predict the prognosis of gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination.Methods: This is a retrospective study on 684 patients with a histological diagnosis of gastric cancer with peritoneal dissemination from the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center as the development set, and 62 gastric cancer patients from the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University as the validation group. Chi-square test and Cox regression analysis were used to compare the clinicopathological variables and the prognosis of gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination. The Harrell's concordance index(C-index) and calibration curve were determined for comparisons of predictive ability of the nomogram.Results: Univariate and multivariate analyses showed that serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA) level(P=0.032), ascites grading(P=0.008), presence of extraperitoneal metastasis(P<0.001), seeding status(P=0.016) and performance status(P=0.009) were independent prognostic factors for gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination in the development set. The nomogram model was constructed using these five factors. Internal validation showed that the C-index of the model was 0.641. For the external validation, the C-index of this model was 0.709.Conclusions: We developed and validated a nomogram to predict the prognosis for gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination.
