1Exosomes:key players in cancer and potential therapeutic strategy显示文摘Exosomes are extracellular vesicles secreted by most eukaryotic cells and participate in intercellular communication.The components of exosomes,including proteins,DNA,mRNA,microRNA,long noncoding RNA,circular RNA,etc.,which play a crucial role in regulating tumor growth,metastasis,and angiogenesis in the process of cancer development,and can be used as a prognostic marker and/or grading basis for tumor patients.Hereby,we mainly summarized as followed:the role of exosome contents in cancer,focusing on proteins and noncoding RNA;the interaction between exosomes and tumor microenvironment;the mechanisms that epithelial-mesenchymal transition,invasion and migration of tumor affected by exosomes;and tumor suppression strategies based on exosomes.Finally,the application potential of exosomes in clinical tumor diagnosis and therapy is prospected,which providing theoretical supports for using exosomes to serve precise tumor treatment in the clinic.Jie Dai Yangzhou Su Suye Zhong Li Cong Bang Liu Junjun Yang Yongguang Tao Zuping He Chao Chen Yiqun Jiang 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:8
2Tropoelastin improves adhesion and migration of intra-articular injected infrapatellar fat pad MSCs and reduces osteoarthritis progression显示文摘Intra-articular injection of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)is a promising strategy for osteoarthritis(OA)treatment.However,more and more studies reveal that the injected MSCs have poor adhesion,migration,and survival in the joint cavity.A recent study shows that tropoelastin(TE)regulates adhesion,proliferation and phenotypic maintenance of MSCs as a soluble additive,indicating that TE could promote MSCs-homing in regenerative medicine.In this study,we used TE as injection medium,and compared it with classic media in MSCs intra-articular injection such as normal saline(NS),hyaluronic acid(HA),and platelet-rich plasma(PRP).We found that TE could effectively improve adhesion,migration,chondrogenic differentiation of infrapatellar fat pad MSCs(IPFP-MSCs)and enhance matrix synthesis of osteoarthritic chondrocytes(OACs)in indirect-coculture system.Moreover,TE could significantly enhance IPFP-MSCs adhesion via activation of integrin β1,ERK1/2 and vinculin(VCL)in vitro.In addition,intra-articular injection of TE-IPFP MSCs suspension resulted in a short-term increase in survival rate of IPFP-MSCs and better histology scores of rat joint tissues.Inhibition of integrin β1 or ERK1/2 attenuated the protective effect of TE-IPFP MSCs suspension in vivo.In conclusion,TE promotes performance of IPFP-MSCs and protects knee cartilage from damage in OA through enhancement of cell adhesion and activation of integrin β1/ERK/VCL pathway.Our findings may provide new insights in MSCs intra-articular injection for OA treatment.Junjun Yang Xin Wang Yahan Fan Xiongbo Song Jiangyi Wu Zhenlan Fu Tao Li Yang Huang ZheXiong Tang Shuo Meng Na Liu Jiajia Chen Pingju Liu Liu Yang Xiaoyuan Gong Cheng Chen 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:4
3Numerical study of water mist centerline velocity in microgravity显示文摘With water mist regarded as a promising fireextinguishing agent in spacecraft,it is necessary to investigate characteristics of water mist in microgravity.In this paper,FDS 6.0 is used to measure the centerline velocity of water mist with various initial velocities and the spray distance.The droplets will approach their terminal velocity after leaving the nozzle in normal-gravity,which agrees with the theoretical calculation.The velocity of water mist declines in microgravity.The polynomials of the velocity change are given in microgravity,which makes it possible to obtain the velocity with the spray distance increase when arbitrary initial velocity is given.Xue Han Junjun Tao Jun Qin 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,25:2
4Intrauterine growth restriction alters nutrient metabolism in the intestine of porcine offspring显示文摘Background:Intrauterine growth restriction(IUGR)has negative impacts on the postnatal survival,growth and development of humans and animals,with not only on newborns but also adulthood.However,the characteristics for nutrient digestion and absorption in IUGR offspring are still largely unknown.Therefore,the normal birth weight(NBW)and IUGR growing pigs were used in this study to investigate their differences in nutrient utilization,with an expectition for further nutritional optimization of the IUGR offspring during their later life.Methods:Twelve IUGR and 12 NBW growing pigs were fitted with catheters in their portal vein to measure blood flow rate as well as nutrients and metabolites in plasma.The digestibilities of nutrients in different intestinal segments,and bacterial fermentation in the large intestine were examined to reveal the characteristics of nutrients utilization in IUGR versus NBW pigs.Results:The rate of portal venous blood flow did not differ beween IUGR and NBW pigs.Plasma concentrations of total cholesterol,triglycerides and glucose were much lower but those of urea were higher in the portal vein of IUGR pigs,compared with the NBW pigs.The ileal digestibility of dry matter,gross energy and starch were lower in IUGR pigs than in NBW pigs.IUGR increased hindgut microbial diversity and bacterial fermentation activity in the caecum.In vitro cross-fermentation of ileal digesta by caecal microbes of NBW and IUGR pigs showed that gas production was much higher for IUGR ileal digesta regardless of the source of caecal inocula.Conclusion:IUGR impairs the nutrient digestion and absorption in small intestine,reduces caecal microbial diversity and promotes bacterial fermentation in the large intestine during the growing phase.These findings aid in our understanding of nutrient metabolism in IUGR pigs and provide the basis for future nutritional interventions.Tiantian Li Shimeng Huang Long Lei Shiyu Tao Yi Xiong Guoyao Wu Jie Hu Xiongkun Yuan Shengjun Zhao Bin Zuo Hongjian Yang Yingping Xiao Gang Lin Junjun Wang 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,2:2

6Physiological,Biochemical and Molecular Responses of Barley Seedlings to Aluminum Stress显示文摘Barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)is one of the most Aluminum(Al)sensitive cereal species.In this study,the physiological,biochemical,and molecular response of barley seedlings to Al treatment was examined to gain insight into Al response and tolerance mechanisms.The results showed that superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD)and catalase(CAT)activity were inhibited to different degrees following Al exposure.The MDA content also significantly increased with increasing Al concentrations.SRAP results indicated significant differences between Al treatments and controls in terms of SRAP profile,and the genomic template stability(GTS)decreased with increasing Al concentration and duration.These integrative results help to elucidate the underlying mechanisms that the barley response to Al toxicity.Xiaoqin Zhang Tao Tong Bin Tian Yunxia Fang Jiangjie Pan Junjun Zheng Dawei Xue 2019Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2019,88,3:2
7Dynamic changes of postprandial plasma metabolites after intake of corn-soybean meal or casein-starch diets in growing pigs显示文摘Background: Postprandial nutrients utilization and metabolism of a certain diet is a complicated process. The metabolic feature of pigs after intake of corn-soybean meal or casein-starch diets are largely unknown. Therefore,this study was conducted to investigate the dynamic postprandial changes of plasma metabolic profile using growing pigs using metabolomics.Methods: Twenty-four growing pigs with average initial body weight(BW) about 30 kg were placed in metabolic cages and then fitted with precaval vein catheters. Pigs were fed daily 4% of initial body weight. Two experimental diets were included:(i) a starch-casein based purified diet(PD) and(ii) a common corn-soybean meal diet(CD).Plasma was collected before feeding and 0.5 h, 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h after feeding.Results: In both diets, compared to prior to feeding, the concentrations of glucose, most amino acids, metabolites such as 5-aminopentanoic acid, pipecolic acid, ornithine and 5-hydroxy-L-tryptophan were significantly increased in plasma during the first hour, whereas the concentrations of plasma triglycerides, glutamate, glycine, palmitelaidic acid, 13-HODE and oleic acid were decreased in the first hour. Compared with PD group, concentration of plasma leucine and isoleucine declined at 30 min in CD group. Plasma linoleic acid, sphingosine and many dipeptides were significantly higher in pigs fed CD.Conclusion: Most significant metabolic changes occurred during the first hour after feeding and then became relatively stable after 2 h in both diets. 14Label Enhancement for Scene Text Detection显示文摘Segmentation-based scene text detection has drawn a great deal of attention,as it can describe the text instance with arbitrary shapes based on its pixel-level prediction.However,most segmentation-based methods suffer from complex post-processing to separate the text instances which are close to each other,resulting in considerable time consumption during the inference procedure.A label enhancement method is proposed to construct two kinds of training labels for segmentation-based scene text detection in this paper.The label distribution learning(LDL)method is used to overcome the problem brought by pure shrunk text labels that might result in suboptimal detection perfor⁃mance.The experimental results on three benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed method can consistently improve the performance with⁃out sacrificing inference speed.MEI Junjun GUAN Tao TONG Junwen 2022ZTE Communications2022,20,4:0
15Low-threshold lasing in a plasmonic laser using nanoplate InGaN/GaN显示文摘Plasmonic nanolaser as a new type of ultra-small laser,has gain wide interests due to its breaking diffraction limit of light and fast carrier dynamics characters.Normally,the main problem that need to be solved for plasmonic nanolaser is high loss induced by optical and ohmic losses,which leads to the low quality factor.In this work,InGaN/GaN nanoplate plasmonic nanolaser with large interface area were designed and fabricated,where the overlap between SPs and excitons can be enhanced.The lasing threshold is calculated to be~6.36 kW/cm^(2),where the full width at half maximum(FWHM)drops from 27 to 4 nm.And the fast decay time at 502 nm(sharp peak of stimulated lasing)is estimated to be 0.42 ns.Enhanced lasing characters are mainly attributed to the strong confinement of electromagnetic wave in the low refractive index material,which improve the near field coupling between SPs and excitons.Such plasmonic laser should be useful in data storage applications,biological application,light communication,especially for optoelectronic devices integrated into a system on a chip.Ting Zhi Tao Tao Xiaoyan Liu Junjun Xue Jin Wang Zhikuo Tao Yi Li Zili Xie Bin Liu 2021Journal of Semiconductors2021,42,12:0
16ZokorDB: tissue specific regulatory network annotation for non-coding elements of plateau zokor显示文摘Background:Plateau zokor inhabits in sealed burrows from 2,000 to 4,200 meters at Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.This extreme living env ironment makes it a great model to study animal adaptation to hypoxia,low temperature,and high carbon dioxide concentration.Methods:We provide an integrated resource,ZokorDB,for tissue specific regulatory network annotation for zokor.ZokorDB is based on a high-quality draft genome of a plateau zokor at 3,300 m and its transcriptional profiles in brain,heart,liver,kidney,and lung.The conserved non-coding elements of zokor are annotated by their nearest genes and upstream transcriptional factor motif binding sites.Results:ZokorDB provides a general draft gene regulatory network(GRN),Le?potential transcription factor(TF)binds to non-coding regulatory elements and regulates the expression of target genes(TG).Furthermore,we refined the GRN by incorporating matched RNA-seq and DNase-seq data from mouse ENCODE project and reconstructed five tissue-specific regulatory networks.Conclusions:A web-based,open-access database is developed for easily searching,visualizing,and downloading the annotation and data.The pipeline of non-coding region annotation for zokor will be useful for other non-model species.ZokorDB is free available at the website(bigd.big.ac.cn/zokordb/).Jingxue Xin Junjun Hao Lang Chen Tao Zhang Lei Li Luonan Chen Wenmin Zhao Xuemei Lu Peng Shi Yong Wang 2020Quantitative Biology2020,8,1:0

19Genome-Wide Identification of the F-box Gene Family and Expression Analysis under Drought and Salt Stress in Barley显示文摘The F-box protein-encoding gene family plays an essential role in plant stress resistance.In present study,126 non-redundant F-box genes were identified in barley(Hordeum vulgare L.,Hv).The corresponding proteins contained 165–887 amino acid residues and all were amphiphilic,except 5 proteins.Phylogenetic analysis of F-box protein sequences in barley and stress-related F-box protein sequences in wheat and Arabidopsis thaliana(At)was used to classify barley F-box genes are divided into 9 subfamilies(A–I).A structure-based sequence alignment demonstrated that F-box proteins were highly conserved with a total of 10 conserved motifs.In total,124 F-box genes were unevenly distributed on 7 chromosomes;another 2 genes have not been anchored yet.The gene structure analysis revealed high variability in the number of exons and introns in F-box genes.Comprehensive analysis of expression profiles and phylogenetic tree analysis,a total of 12 F-box genes that may be related to stress tolerance in barley were screened.Of the 12 detected F-box genes,8 and 10 were upregulated after drought and salt stress treatments,respectively,using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).This study is the first systematic analysis conducted on the F-box gene family in barley,which is of great importance for clarifying this family’s bioinformatic characteristics and elucidating its function in barley stress resistance.These results will serve as a theoretical reference for subsequent research on molecular regulation mechanisms,genetic breeding,and improvement.Lantian Zhang Siyi Wang Yuyu Chen Mengyuan Dong Yunxia Fang Xian Zhang Tao Tong Ziling Zhang Junjun Zheng Dawei Xue Xiaoqin Zhang 2020Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,2:0
