| 1 | Astragalus polysaccharide enhances immunity and inhibits H9N2 avian influenza virus in vitro and in vivo显示文摘This study investigated the humoral immunization of Astragalus polysaccharide(APS) against H9N2 avian influenza virus(H9N2 AIV) infection in chickens. The effects of APS treatment on H9N2 infection was evaluated by an MTT [3(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 3-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide] assay and analysis of MHC and cytokine mRNA expression. The effect on lymphocyte and serum antibody titers in vivo was also investigated. IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, LITAF, IL-12 and antibody titers to H9N2 AIV were enhanced in the first week after APS treatment. | 2 | Mechanical Properties and Microstructure of Portland Cement Concrete Prepared with Coral Reef Sand显示文摘The feasibility of using coral reef sand(CRS) in Portland cement concrete is investigated by testing the mechanical property and microstructure of concrete. The composition, structure and properties of the CRS are analyzed. Mechanical properties and microstructure of concrete with CRS are studied and compared to concrete with natural river sand. The relationship between the microstructure and performance of CRS concrete is established. The CRS has a porous surface with high water intake capacity, which contributes to the mechanical properties of concrete. The interfacial transition zone between the cement paste and CRS is densified compared to normal concrete with river sand. Hydration products form in the pore space of CRS and interlock with the matrix of cement paste, which increases the strength. The total porosity of concrete prepared with CRS is higher than that with natural sand. | 3 | A Highly Pathogenic Strain of Porcine Deltacoronavirus Caused Watery Diarrhea in Newborn Piglets显示文摘Porcine deltacoronavirus(PDCoV) is a newly identified virus that causes watery diarrhea in newborn piglets and results in significant economic losses to the pig industry. Since first reported in Hong Kong in 2012, PDCoV has been subsequently detected in USA, South Korea, Thailand, and China's Mainland. Here we isolated a strain of PDCoV, named CHN-GD-2016,from the intestinal content of a diseased newborn piglet with severe diarrhea in a pig farm in Guangdong, China. PDCoV CHN-GD-2016 could be identified by immunofluorescence with PDCoV specific rabbit antisera, and typical crown-shaped particles with spiky surface projections of this PDCoV were observed with electron microscopy. Genomic analysis showed that the PDCoV CHN-GD-2016 was closely related to other Chinese PDCoV strains, with the highest sequence similarity with the strain CHN/Tianjin/2016. Importantly, inoculation of newborn piglets with 1×10~5 TCID_(50) of CHN-GD-2016 by oral feeding successfully reproduced clear clinical symptoms, including vomiting, dehydration, and severe diarrhea in piglets. In addition, the virus RNA in rectal swabs from 1 to 7 days post inoculation was detected, macroscopic and microscopic lesions in small intestine were observed, and viral antigen was also detected in the small intestines with immunohistochemical staining. | 4 | A smart safe rechargeable zinc ion battery based on sol-gel transition electrolytes显示文摘Thermal runaway has been a long-standing safety issue impeding the development of high-energydensity batteries. Physical safety designs such as employing circuit-breakers and fuses to batteries are limited by small operating voltage windows and no resumption of original working condition when it is cooled down. Here we report a smart thermoresponsive polymer electrolyte that can be incorporated inside batteries to prevent thermal runaway via a fast and reversible sol-gel transition, and successfully combine this smart electrolyte with a rechargeable Zn/a-MnO_2 battery system. At high temperature, battery operation is inhibited as a result of the increased internal resistance caused by the gelation of liquid electrolyte. After cooling down, the electrolyte is spontaneously reversed to sol state and the electrochemical performance of the battery is restored. | 5 | Effects of ammonium exchange and Si/Al ratio on the conversion of methanol to propylene over a novel and large partical size ZSM-5显示文摘One type of ZSM-5 zeolite with large partical size was prepared and characterized by XRD, SEM, N2 adsorption-desorption, XRF, Py-IR and NH3-TPD techniques. Effects of ammonium exchange and SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratios on the reaction of methanol to propylene (MTP) over Na-ZSM-5 and H-ZSM-5 zeolites have been studied in a fixed-bed flow reactor under the operating conditions of T = 500 °C, P = 1 atm, and WHSV = 6 h-1. Ammonium exchange led to a rapid decrease in Na content for Na-ZSM-5 zeolite. The reaction results indicated that Na-ZSM-5 and H-ZSM-5 with different SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratios all exhibited high activity for methanol conversion. Ammonium exchange and the decreased SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of ZSM-5 zeolite led to an increase both in strong acid sites and weak acid sites. Na-ZSM-5 with high SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio was favorable for the formation of propylene. | 9 | A high-surface-area silicoaluminophosphate material rich in Brnsted acid sites as a matrix in catalytic cracking显示文摘A transparent gel-like mesoporous silicoaluminophosphate material (SAP) with a Si/Al molar ratio of 20 was synthesized by hydrothermal method. The physicochemical features of SAP were characterized by XRD, XRF, BET, SEM and FT-IR spectroscopy of pyridine adsorption techniques. The results indicated that incorporation of phosphorus (P) into aluminasilica system altered the basic textural characteristics of aluminasilica. Especially after hydrothermal treatment, the material with large special surface area (up to 492 m 2 /g) exhibited a good performance on hydrothermal stability. Moreover, the phosphorus modifier can not only increase the amount of Bro¨nsted acidic sites (up to 48.44 μmol/g) and the percentage of weak acidic sites in total acidic sites, but also regulate the acid type, such as the ratio of B/L (Bro¨nsted acid/Lewis acid) increases to 1.15. The performances of samples as matrices for the catalytic cracking of heavy vacuum gas oil (VGO) were investigated. | 11 | One Stone Four Birds:A Novel Liposomal Delivery System Multi-functionalized with Ginsenoside Rh2 for Tumor Targeting Therapy显示文摘Liposomes hold great potential in anti-cancer drug delivery and the targeting treatment of tumors.However,the clinical therapeutic efficacy of liposomes is still limited by the complexity of tumor microenvironment(TME)and the insufficient accumulation in tumor sites.Meanwhile,the application of cholesterol and polyethylene glycol(PEG),which are usually used to prolong the blood circulation and stabilize the structure of liposomes respectively,has been questioned due to various disadvantages.Herein,we developed a ginsenoside Rh2-based multifunctional liposome system(Rh2-lipo)to effectively address these challenges once for all.Different with the conventional’wooden’liposomes,Rh2-lipo is a much more brilliant carrier with multiple functions.In Rh2-lipo,both cholesterol and PEG were substituted by Rh2,which works as membrane stabilizer,long-circulating stealther,active targeting ligand,and chemotherapy adjuvant at the same time.Firstly,Rh2 could keep the stability of liposomes and avoid the shortcomings caused by cholesterol.Secondly,Rh2-lipo showed a specifically prolonged circulation behavior in the blood.Thirdly,the accumulation of the liposomes in the tumor was significantly enhanced by the interaction of glucose transporter of tumor cells with Rh2.Fourth,Rh2-lipo could remodel the structure and reverse the immunosuppressive environment in TME.When tested in a 4T1 breast carcinoma xenograft model,the paclitaxel-loaded Rh2-lipo realized high efficient tumor growth suppression.Therefore,Rh2-lipo not only innovatively challenges the position of cholesterol as a liposome component,but also provides another innovative potential system with multiple functions for anti-cancer drug delivery. | Chao Hong Jianming Liang Jiaxuan Xia Ying Zhu Yizhen Guo Anni Wang Chunyi Lu Hongwei Ren Chen Chen Shiyi Li Dan Wang Huaxing Zhan Jianxin Wang | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,10: | 8 |
| 12 | Dielectric polymer based electrolytes for high-performance all-solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) are urgently required for achieving practical all-solid-state lithium metal batteries (ASSLMBs) but remain plagued by low ionic conductivity.Herein,we propose a strategy of salt polarization to fabricate a highly ion-conductive SPE by employing a high-dielectric polymer that can interact strongly with lithium salts.Such a polymer with large dipole moments can guide lithium cations (Li^(+)) to be arranged along the chain,forming a continuous pathway for Li^(+) hopping within the SPE.The as-fabricated SPE,poly(vinylidene difluoride)(PVDF)-LiN(SO_(2)F)_(2)(LiFSI),has an extraordinarily high dielectric constant (up to 10^(8)) and ultrahigh ionic conductivity (0.77×10^(-3)S cm^(-1)).Based on the PVDF–LiFSI SPE,the assembled Li metal symmetrical cell shows excellent Li plating/stripping reversibility at 0.1 m A cm^(-2),0.1 m Ah cm^(-2)over 1500 h^(-1) the ASS LiFePO_(4) batteries deliver long-term cycling stability at 1 C over 350 cycles (2.74 mg cm^(-2)) and an ultralong cycling lifespan of over 2600 h(100 cycles) with high loading (11.5 mg cm^(-2)) at 28°C.First-principles calculations further reveal the ion-dipole interactions-controlled conduction of Li^(+) in PVDF–LiFSI SPE along the PVDF chain.This work highlights the critical role of dielectric permittivity in SPE,and provides a promising path towards high-energy,long-cycling lifespan ASSLMBs. | Qi Kang Yong Li Zechao Zhuang Dingsheng Wang Chunyi Zhi Pingkai Jiang Xingyi Huang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6: | 7 |

| 14 | PEGylated mBPEI-rGO nanocomposites facilitate hepotocarcinoma treatment combining photothermal therapy and chemotherapy显示文摘Despite chemotherapy has been widely used for tumor therapy, the serious side effect is still a major challenge. Recently, two dimensional nanomaterial-based drug delivery systems have attracted wide concern due to their high drug loading and low side effect. In addition, some kinds of nanomaterials can directly act as a photosensitizer to induce cancer destruction. In this study, we developed a drug delivery system of mixture of high/low molecular weight branched polyethylenimine-polyethylene glycol-reduced graphene oxide(mBPEI-PEG-rGO) using reduced graphene oxide as matrix. A model drug of doxorubicin(DOX) was loaded on the nanocomposites with the efficiency of 81% and the release rate of more than 50% at acidic environment. In vitro experiments indicated that mBPEI-PEG-rGO-DOX with enhanced stability and biocompatibility efficiently delivered and released DOX into cells mainly through micropinocytosis and killed SMMC-7721 cells by inducing reactive oxygen species(ROS) and cell apoptosis. Furthermore, in vivo experiments indicated that the combination of intratumoral injection of mBPEI-PEG-rGO-DOX and local laser irradiation nearly ablated hepatocarcinoma. | 15 | Synergistic effect of W and P on ZSM-5 and its catalytic performance in the cracking of heavy oil显示文摘In order to develop the conversion of heavy oil with a high yield of propylene in the catalytic cracking process, ZSM-5 zeolite was modified by tungsten and phosphorus, which was proved to be an effective method. Characterization results show that the improvement of catalytic performance could be correlated to the interaction of phosphorus and tungsten species on ZSM-5. P inhibited the aggregation of tungsten species on ZSM-5 and was conductive to convert the tungsten species with octahedral coordination into tetrahedral coordination. And this ultimately led to that more acid sites were reserved after hydrothermal treatment in the tungsten and phosphorus co-modified ZSM-5 catalyst.Phosphorus species played an important role to restrain the dehydrogenation activity of tungsten. | 16 | Effect of acid density of HZSM-5 on the oligomerization of ethylene in FCC dry gas显示文摘The oligomerization of ethylene in FCC dry gas over HZSM-5 catalyst with different Si/Al2 ratios was studied. The effect of acid density of catalyst on the oligomerization of ethylene was discussed. By increasing the acid density of catalyst, ethylene conversion showed a linear increase, while the yields of olefins decreased when the acid density of catalyst exceeded 0.14 mmolNH3/g owing to a promotion of hydrogen transfer reaction. Through comparing the average distance between acid sites on catalyst with kinetic diameters of olefins, it was found that the dimerization of ethylene was not restrained by the sparse distribution of acid sites, while the hydrogen transfer reaction of C3 and C4 olefins was limited. | 17 | Synthesis, Characterization and Evaluation of Sulfur Transfer Catalysts for FCC Flue Gas显示文摘In this work, Zr-M(M=Cu, Mn, Ce) type sulfur transfer agent was prepared by impregnation method. Under the condition similar to that in the regenerator of FCC units, the influence of different active metal components and their contents on sulfur transfer agent were investigated. Moreover, the crystalline structure of sulfur transfer agent was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). The result showed that the Zr-Mn sulfur transfer agent could effectively reduce the SO2 content in FCC regenerator flue gas, featuring high SO2 adsorption capacity. The sulfur transfer agent was inactivated in 40—60 min during the test. | 19 | Effects of Cs-substitution and partial reduction on catalytic performance of Keggin-type phosphomolybdic polyoxometalates for selective oxidation of isobutane显示文摘The catalytic performance of Cs-substituted phosphomolybdic salts was studied for selective oxidation of isobutane. The results of activity tests revealed that 360 °C was the optimal reaction temperature. It was demonstrated that oxidizing sites not only took dominating part in the activation of isobutane, but also influenced the product distribution. Besides, appropriate Cs addition led to moderate acidity of catalysts, favoring the selectivity to desired products. Furthermore, to obtain partially reduced catalysts, different calcination atmospheres were investigated and certain proportion of Mo^(5+) produced during calcination was crucial for the redox reaction. The catalyst calcined in N_2 showed the highest yield of MAA(7.0%). | 20 | Preparation and characterization of Mn/MgAlFe as transfer catalyst for SO_x abatement显示文摘A series of manganese-promoted MgAlFe mixed oxides, used as sulfur transfer catalysts, were prepared by acid-processed gelatin method and characterized by TGA-DTA, XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption and FT-IR techniques. It was found that the sulfur transfer catalysts with 0.5?3.0 wt% manganese showed its good dispersion in the precursor. The novel Mn/MgAlFe catalysts with 0.5?5.0 wt% manganese oxide showed a high oxidative adsorption rate and sulfur adsorption capacity, and 5.0 wt% Mn/MgAlFe sample was superior to the others for SO2 removal.
