5独立于RANKL/RANK系统的调控根吸收机制:TNFα的可溶性受体抑制根吸收显示文摘目的 :深入探知TNFα ,IL - 1在根吸收过程中的作用及两种骨吸收调控机制 ,即RANKL/RANK调控系统 ,炎症因子IL - 1,TNFα调控系统相互间的关系。方法 :18只雄Wistar大鼠 ,4周龄 ,随机分为 3组 ,正常对照组 ,IL - 1组 ,TNFα组 ,每组 6只。根据Nakane方法建立大鼠根吸收模型。研究 3组大鼠标本中RANKL ,RANK ,mRNA各自表达程度的差别及相应的ED1(单核巨噬细胞标记物 )阳性细胞在根吸收组织中的分布情况。结果 :T检验证实 :正常组与TNFα组间有显著性差别 ,P <0 .0 1;正常组与IL - 1组无显著性差别。在下列细胞内可以检测到RANKLmRNA的阳性信号 :成骨细胞 ,骨内膜细胞 ,基质细胞 ,近根吸收陷窝处的纺锤状成纤维细胞。3组间的信号表达水平比较无显著差别。结论 :本研究采用ED1作为免疫组化标记物 。张栋梁 欧阳喈 汪玲丽 Werner Goetz Andreas Jaeger 2004口腔医学研究2004,20,1:8

8Parameters affecting different acoustic radiation force impulse applications in the diagnosis of fibrotic liver changes显示文摘AIM: To analyze the virtual touch tissue quantification(VTTQ) and virtual touch imaging quantification(VTIQ) techniques, and identify possible factors that may influence VTTQ and VTIQ measurements.METHODS: One hundred and eighty-six(104 women/82 men) of 323 subjects met the inclusion criteria(age > 18 years, no history of chronic or gastrointestinal disease, body-mass index(BMI) < 30 kg/m2, a fasting period of at least three hours, no history of hepatotoxic pharmaceuticals, alcohol consumption < 24 g/d in men and < 12 g/d in women, and normal findings upon ultrasound examination of the abdomen). Measurements were taken at depths of 50 mm with VTTQ, 15 mm and 25 mm with VTIQ in the right hepatic lobe, and at 15 mm with only VTIQ in the left hepatic lobe. The examiner acquired six measurements per position, thereby giving 24 measurements in total.RESULTS: The 95% confidence intervals of mean were1.23-1.29 m/s for VTTQ and 1.29-1.37 m/s, 1.17-1.23 m/s, and 1.48-1.57 m/s for VTIQ in a depth of 15 mm and 25 mm in the right hepatic lobe and 15 mm in the left hepatic lobe. Only superficial measurements in the right hepatic lobe with the VTIQ method exhibited an effect of age on shear wave velocity. Measurements acquired using the 6C1 probe with the VTTQ method showed no dependence on BMI. By comparison, BMI influenced measurements taken with the VTIQ method using the 9L4 probe in the superficial and deep areas of the right hepatic lobe, as well as in the left hepatic lobe(P = 0.0160, P = 0.0019, P = 0.0173, respectively). Gender influenced measurements at depths of 50 mm with VTTQ and 25 mm with VTIQ in the right hepatic lobe(P = 0.0001, P = 0.0269). Significant differences were found between measurements with the 6C1(VTTQ) and 9L4 probes(VTIQ)(P = 0.0067), between superficial and deep measurements(P < 0.0001), and between the right and left lobes of the liver(P < 0.0001). CONCLUSION: Measurements in the right lobe and deep regions are preferable. Gender differences must be considered. 9Towards Quantitatively Understanding the Complexity of Social-Ecological Systems——From Connection to Consilience显示文摘The complexity of social-ecological systems(SES) is rooted in the outcomes of node activities connected by network topology. Thus far, in network dynamics research, the connectivity degree(CND), indicating how many nodes are connected to a given node, has been the dominant concept. However, connectivity focuses only on network topology, neglecting the crucial relation to node activities, and thereby leaving system outcomes largely unexplained. Inspired by the phenomenon of ‘‘consensus of wills and coordination of activities' ' often observed in disaster risk management, we propose a new concept of network characteristic, the consilience degree(CSD),aiming to measure the way in which network topology and node activities together contribute to system outcomes. The CSD captures the fact that nodes may assume different states that make their activities more or less compatible.Connecting two nodes with in/compatible states will lead to outcomes that are un/desirable from the perspective of the SES in question. We mathematically prove that the CSD is a generalized CND, and the CND is a special case of CSD. As a general, fundamental concept, the CSD can facilitate the development of a new framework of network properties, models, and theories that allows us to understand patterns of network behavior that cannot be explained in terms of connectivity alone. We further demonstrate that a co-evolutionary mechanism can naturally improve the CSD. 14Simulation and Visualisation of Functional Landscapes:Effects of the Water Resource Competition Between Plants显示文摘Vegetation ecosystem simulation and visualisation are challenging topics involving multidisciplinary aspects. In this paper,we present a new generic frame for the simulation of natural phenomena through manageable and interacting models.It focuses on the functional growth of large vegetal ecosystems,showing coherence for scales ranging from the individual plant to communities and with a particular attention to the effects of water resource competition between plants.The proposed approach is based on a model of plant growth in interaction with the environmental conditions. These are deduced from the climatic data (light,temperature,rainfall) and a model of soil hydrological budget.A set of layers is used to store the water resources and to build the interfaces between the environmental data and landscape components:temperature,rain,light,altitude,lakes,plant positions,biomass,cycles,etc.At the plant level,the simulation is performed for each individual by a structural-functional growth model,interacting with the plant's environment.Temperature is spatialised,changing according to altitude,and thus locally controls plant growth speed.The competition for water is based on a soil hydrological model taking into account rainfalls,water runoff, absorption,diffusion,percolation in soil.So far,the incoming light radiation is not studied in detail and is supposed constant.However,competition for light between plants is directly taken into account in the plant growth model.In our implementation,we propose a simple architecture for such a simulator and a simulation scheme to synchronise the water resource updating (on a temporal basis) and the plant growth cycles (determined by the sum of daily temperatures). 16Choice for China:What Role for Vocational Education in Green Growth?显示文摘Green growth cannot succeed without significant changes in the education system and the closely related social division of labor.This paper combines historical evidence and a game-theoretic analysis to study the relation between vocational education and green growth.It is found that a low-vocation and a high-vocation equilibrium can be distinguished in the interplay between education and labor markets,and that a high-vocation equilibrium is better suited for green growth.At the present stage of development,there are tendencies in both directions in China.Therefore,China has the possibility to successfully implement a green growth strategy by developing a strong vocational education with Chinese characteristics.Carlo Jaeger 2014China & World Economy2014,22,5:2

18Level of detail technique for plant models显示文摘Realistic modelling and interactive rendering of forestry and landscape is a challenge in computer graphics and virtual reality.Recent new developments in plant growth modelling and simulation lead to plant models faithful to botanical structure and development,not only representing the complex architecture of a real plant but also its functioning in interaction with its environment.Complex geometry and material of a large group of plants is a big burden even for high performances computers,and they often overwhelm the numerical calculation power and graphic rendering power.Thus,in order to accelerate the rendering speed of a group of plants,software techniques are often developed.In this paper,we focus on plant organs,i.e.leaves,flowers,fruits and inter-nodes.Our approach is a simplification process of all sparse organs at the same time,i.e.,Level of Detail(LOD),and multi-resolution models for plants.We do explain here the principle and construction of plant simplification.They are used to construct LOD and multi-resolution models of sparse organs and branches of big trees.These approaches take benefit from basic knowledge of plant architecture,clustering tree organs according to biological structures.We illustrate the potential of our approach on several big virtual plants for geometrical compression or LOD model definition.Finally we prove the efficiency of the proposed LOD models for realistic rendering with a virtual scene composed by 184 mature trees.Xiaopeng ZHANG Qingqiong DENG~ Marc JAEGER 2006中国体视学与图像分析2006,11,4:2
19Lessons from the Mainland of China’s Epidemic Experience in the First Phase about the Growth Rules of Infected and Recovered Cases of COVID-19 Worldwide显示文摘The first phase of the novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)that emerged at the end of 2019 has been brought under control in the mainland of China in March,while it is still spreading globally.When the pandemic will end is a question of great concern.A logistic model that depicts the growth rules of infected and recovered cases in China’s mainland may shed some light on this question.This model well explained the data by 13 April from 31 countries that have been experiencing serious COVID-2019 outbreaks(R2≥0.95).Based on this model,the semi-saturation period(SSP)of infected cases in those countries ranges from 3 March to 18 June.According to the linear relationship between the growth rules for infected and for recovered cases identified from the Chinese data,we predicted that the SSP of the recovered cases outside China ranges from 22 March to 8 July.More importantly,we found a strong positive correlation between the SSP of infected cases and the timing of a government’s response.Finally,this model was also applied to four regions that went through other coronavirus or Ebola virus epidemics(R2≥0.95).There is a negative correlation between the death rate and the logistic growth rate.These findings provide strong evidence for the effectiveness of rapid epidemic control measures in various countries.Chuanliang Han Yimeng Liu Jiting Tang Yuyao Zhu Carlo Jaeger Saini Yang 2020International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2020,11,4:2
20Rapid generation of recombinant Pseudomonas putida secondary metabolite producers using yTREX显示文摘Microbial secondary metabolites represent a rich source of valuable compounds with a variety of applications in medicine or agriculture.Effective exploitation of this wealth of chemicals requires the functional expression of the respective biosynthetic genes in amenable heterologous hosts.We have previously established the TREX system which facilitates the transfer,integration and expression of biosynthetic gene clusters in various bacterial hosts.Here,we describe the yTREX system,a new tool adapted for one-step yeast recombinational cloning of gene clusters.We show that with yTREX,Pseudomonas putida secondary metabolite production strains can rapidly be constructed by random targeting of chromosomal promoters by Tn5 transposition.Feasibility of this approach was corroborated by prodigiosin production after yTREX cloning,transfer and expression of the respective biosynthesis genes from Serratia marcescens.Furthermore,the applicability of the system for effective pathway rerouting by gene cluster adaptation was demonstrated using the violacein biosynthesis gene cluster from Chromobacterium violaceum,producing pathway metabolites violacein,deoxyviolacein,prodeoxyviolacein,and deoxychromoviridans.Clones producing both prodigiosin and violaceins could be readily identified among clones obtained after random chromosomal integration by their strong color-phenotype.Finally,the addition of a promoter-less reporter gene enabled facile detection also of phenazine-producing clones after transfer of the respective phenazine-1-carboxylic acid biosynthesis genes from Pseudomonas aeruginosa.All compounds accumulated to substantial titers in the mg range.We thus corroborate here the suitability of P.putida for the biosynthesis of diverse natural products,and demonstrate that the yTREX system effectively enables the rapid generation of secondary metabolite producing bacteria by activation of heterologous gene clusters,applicable for natural compound discovery and combinatorial biosynthesis.Andreas Domrose Robin Weihmann Stephan Thies Karl-Erich Jaeger Thomas Drepper Anita Loeschcke 2017Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2017,2,4:2
