1Expression of MRP14 gene is frequently down-regulated in Chinese human esophageal cancer显示文摘Migration inhibitory factor-related protein 14 (MRP 14) is one of calcium-binding proteins,referred as S 100A9. The heterodimeric molecule formed by MRP 14 with its partner MRP8 (S 100A8) is the major fatty acid carrier in neutrophils.The MRP8/14 complex has been also implicated in the intracellular transport of arachidonic acid and its precursors in keratinocytes. We show here the involvement of MRP14 in human esophageal cancer. In an initial study,mRNA differential display - reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (DD-PCR) was performed with two esophageal carcinomas,one esophageal adenocarcinoma and matched normal adjacent mucosa. DD-PCR with the arbitrary primer OPA3 showed that one cDNA band was highly expressed in normal tissues,but disappeared or substantially decreased in tumor counterparts. It was later identified to be the 3'-end of migration inhibitory factor-related protein 14 (MRP14).Northern blotting,RT-PCR and Western blotting corroborated the down-regulation of MRP14 in 58/64 squamous cell carcinomas and 2/2 adenocarcinomas as compared with adjacent normal epithelia of the esophagus. MRP14 was undetectable in 3/3 esophageal-carcinoma cell lines. Immunochemistry demonstrated that expression of MRP14 was restricted to normal esophageal epithelia. No mutation was found in the genomic DNA of the MRP14 gene by PCR and directed DNA sequencing. 2VLC-Based Indoor Positioning Algorithm Combined with OFDM and Particle Filter显示文摘Visible light communications(VLC) have recently attracted a growing interest and can be a potential solution to realize indoor positioning,however,the performance of existing indoor positioning system is limited by multipath distortion inside a room.In order to combat the effect of multipath distortion,this paper proposes an LED-based indoor positioning algorithm combined with hybrid OFDM(HOFDM),in which asymmetrically clipped optical OFDM(ACOOFDM) is transmitted on the odd subcarriers while using pulse amplitude modulated discrete multitone(PAM-DMT) to modulate the imaginary part of each even subcarrier.In this scheme,we take a combined approach where a received-signal-strength(RSS) technique is employed to determine the location of the receiver and realize the 3-D positioning by Trust-region-based positioning.Moreover,a particle filter is used to further improve the positioning accuracy.Results confirm that this proposed positioning algorithm can achieve high accuracy even with multipath distortion,and the algorithm has better performance when combined with particle filter.Jin Wang Haoxu Li Xiaofeng Zhang Rangzhong Wu 2019China Communications2019,16,1:6
3Two-dimensional self-organization of 1-nonanethiol-capped gold nanoparticles显示文摘A two-dimensional (2D) ordered hexagonal close-packed structure, formed by 1-nonanethiol-capped gold nanoparticles, is reported. The structure was constructed only by dipping the gold nanoparticle colloidal solution on flat substrate. The gold nanoparticles were synthesized as follows: First, AuCl4-1 was transferred from aqueous solution to toluene by the phase-transfer reagent of tetraoc-tylanunonium bromide. Then it was reduced with aqueous sodium borohydride in the presence of a given amount of 1-nonanethiol molecules which was used to control the nu-cleation and growth of the gold nanoparticles for the desired size. The experimental techniques, such as UV-Vis, FT-IR, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), were employed to characterize the obtained product. 4Reduced graphene oxide@carbon sphere based metacomposites for temperature-insensitive and efficient microwave absorption显示文摘With the increasing advance of fifth generation(5G)network and the gradual expansion of digital devices,harsh working environment for electronic devices has spawned higher requirements for microwave absorbing materials(MAMs).Since both the electromagnetic response and energy conversion character vary with temperature,to achieve temperature insensitive microwave absorption behaviour in wide temperature range has become extremely challenging.In this work,structured metacomposites containing sub-wavelength reduced graphene oxide(RGO)@carbon spheres were fabricated,and the microwave absorption was further improved through structural and composition design of the RGO@carbon units.Due to the unique anti-reflection effect on microwave of the metacomposites,the temperature-insensitive electromagnetic performance at elevated temperature could be exhibited.Moreover,both the dielectric relaxation behaviour and microwave absorption proformance of the system could be further increased.As a result,the effective absorption bandwidth(reflection loss(RL)<−10 dB)of the metacomposites with only 3.0 wt.%filler content could cover the entire X-band(8.2–12.4 GHz)frequency ranging from 298 to 473K.The metacomposite proposed in this work provides a“de-correlating”strategy to break the linkage between microwave absorption behaviour and temperature,which offers an interesting plateau for fabricating efficient high-temperature microwave absorption structures with tunable and designable advantages.Zhiyang Jiang Haoxu Si Yi Li Dan Li Huihui Chen Chunhong Gong Jingwei Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:4

6Hot Deformation and Subsequent Annealing on the Microstructure and Hardness of an Al0.3CoCrFeNi High-entropy Alloy显示文摘The infl uence of simple thermomechanical processing such as hot deformation and heat treatment on the microstructure and hardness of an Al0.3CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy has been investigated.Results show that the relatively high deformation temperature can induce discontinuous dynamic recrystallization with fine grains initially nucleating at the elongated grain boundaries.The transition from partial recrystallization to fully recrystallization,as well as the precipitation behavior after annealing,has been described in detail.Both bcc precipitation and completely recrystallized grains can be observed after annealing at 1000℃.Based on detailed microstructure analysis,the decrease in hardness value is shown to be related to both dynamic recrystallization and dynamic recovery which lead to softening.Jun Wang Hongchao Li Haoxue Yang Yu Zhang William Yi Wang Jinshan Li 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,11:3
7Two‑Dimensional Metal Halides for X‑Ray Detection Applications显示文摘Metal halide perovskites have recently emerged as promising candidates for the next generation of X-ray detectors due to their excellent optoelectronic properties.Especially,two-dimensional(2D)perovskites afford many distinct properties,including remarkable structural diversity,high generation energy,and balanced large exciton binding energy.With the advantages of 2D materials and perovskites,it successfully reduces the decomposition and phase transition of perovskite and effectively suppresses ion migration.Meanwhile,the existence of a high hydrophobic spacer can block water molecules,thus making 2D perovskite obtain excellent stability.All of these advantages have attracted much attention in the field of X-ray detection.This review introduces the classification of 2D halide perovskites,summarizes the synthesis technology and performance characteristics of 2D perovskite X-ray direct detector,and briefly discusses the application of 2D perovskite in scintillators.Finally,this review also emphasizes the key challenges faced by 2D perovskite X-ray detectors in practical application and presents our views on its future development.Yumin Li Yutian Lei Haoxu Wang Zhiwen Jin 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8:3
8TiN/BN composite with excellent thermal stability for efciency microwave absorption in wide temperature spectrum显示文摘High-efficiency and temperature-insensitive microwave absorbing materials(MAMs) are ideal for hightemperature electromagnetic attenuation.Herein,the titanium nitride/boron nitride(TiN/BN) composite with TiN as the loss unit and BN as the impedance matching unit has been constructed by the in-situ synthesis method.The insulating BN not only effectively regulates and optimizes the conductivity and impedance matching of the material but also imparts steady cyclic microwave absorption properties.The steady dielectric loss ensures that TiN/BN composite has robust high-temperature absorption properties at X-band,with a minimum reflection loss(RL_(min)) of-16.74 dB at 873 K and an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB) of 3.26 GHz in the temperature range of 293-873 K.Compared with the TiN/SiO2absorbers with a single system,the TiN/BN/SiO2composite keeps reliable high temperature absorbing properties at873 K.This work confirms that wave-transparent materials for dielectric property modulation can resolve poor temperature stability of effective absorption and non-reusability for high-temperature absorbing materials,providing inspirations for designing efficiency high-temperature microwave absorbers.Yupeng Shi Dan Li Haoxu Si Zhiyang Jiang Mengyuan Li Chunhong Gong 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,35:3

10Design and Characterization of a Novel Z-axis Quartz Cross-fork Micromachined Gyroscope显示文摘The existing researches on quartz gyroscope mainly focus on the structure design of the tuning fork, which aim at obtaining a better vibration characterization. However, the fabrication of complicated structure is a challenge for present processes, and the imperfect fabrication process seriously affects the performances of the sensors. In this paper, a novel quartz cross-fork structure micromachined gyroscope is proposed. The sensor has a simple structure in x-y plane of quartz crystal. Unlike other quartz gyroscopes, the proposed gyroscope is based on shear stress detection to sense Coriolis' force rather than normal stress detection. This feature can simplify the sensing electrode patterns and miniaturize the structure easily. Then the mechanical analysis of the structure is discussed. In order to obtain high sensitivities and uniform characteristics between different structures, the sensing beam is designed to be tapered, and the taper should be appreciably greater than 1°. This scheme is validated by finite element analysis software. The dynamic characteristic of the structure is analyzed by lumped parameter model. The dynamic stress in the beam and the detection sensitivity are deduced to optimize the structure parameter of gyroscope. Finally, the gyroscope is fabricated by quartz anisotropic wet etching. The prototype is characterized as follows. The drive mode frequency is 13.38 kHz, and the quality factor is about 900 in air. The scale factor is 1.45 mV/((°) s -1 ) and the nonlinearity is 3.6% in the dynamic range of ±200°/s. Process and test results show that the proposed quartz gyroscope can achieve a high performance at atmosphere pressure. 13Nanophase precipitation and strengthening in a dual-phase Al_(0.5)CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy显示文摘Precipitation-hardening in fcc-based high-entro py alloys(HEAs)have usually been realized by introducing complex intermetallic compounds.In this study,enhanced strength is ascribed to the existence of L1_(2) precipitates and B2/bcc conjoint phases in the fcc matrix.The nano-size particles in the Al_(0.5)CoCrFeNi HEA are produced by cold-rolling,followed by intermediate-temperature-annealing at 650℃.For L1_(2) ordering,the initial granular structure has transformed into lamella structure and then kept stable when the holding time prolonged to 200 h.The formation of this conjoint B2/bcc driven by the concentration profiles takes place when the diffusion process of elements is sufficient after long-time aging.Based on the microstructure analysis,changes in mechanical properties are associated with the shape,size scale and volume fraction of the precipitates.The peak ultimate tensile stress reaches 1221.5 MPa,1.97 times compared with the as-cast alloy,remaining plasticity of 21.3%.Haoxue Yang Jinshan Li Xiangyu Pan William Yi Wang Hongchao Kou Jun Wang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,13:1

17Calculation and Test of Hitting Force of Firing Bullet on the Bulletproof Helmet显示文摘In this paper the hit force of firing bullet on bulletproof helmet has been computed and the test device has been described. The device is divided into two parts: 1) The bullet, helmet and mould are in one system, using moment theorem to calculate the hit force; 2) The mould, sensor and support pole are in one system, using the method in reference [1] that measures the dynamic strain and displacement of simulate target of bulletproof clothes. We compute the transfigure energy and momentum energy when hitting the mould, the work done by the sensor and the expend energy of support pole. We get the hit force of helmet using energy balance principle. 19Frequency upconversion detection of rotational Doppler effect显示文摘We demonstrated an efficient scheme of measuring the angular velocity of a rotating object with the detection light working at the infrared regime.Our method benefits from the combination of second-harmonic generation(SHG)and rotational Doppler effect,i.e.,frequency upconversion detection of rotational Doppler effect.In our experiment,we use one infrared light as the fundamental wave(FW)to probe the rotating objects while preparing the other FW to carry the desired superpositions of orbital angular momentum.Then these two FWs are mixed collinearly in a potassium titanyl phosphate crystal via typeⅡphase matching,which produces the visible secondharmonic light wave.The experimental results show that both the angular velocity and geometric symmetry of rotating objects can be identified from the detected frequency-shift signals at the photon-count level.Our scheme will find potential applications in infrared monitoring.HAOXU GUO XIAODONG QIU SONG QIU LING HONG FEI LIN YUAN REN LIXIANG CHEN 2022Photonics Research2022,10,1:1
